Sekai Ichi Hatsukoi Season 2 episode 12

And now it is Takano's turn to be emo!

So far behind!!! X__X Many things to do and not enough time to do them with my crazy broken eye. So please enjoy my fairly late Sekai Ichi Hatsukoi Season 2 episode 12 post. Spoilers for Takano taking a trip down memory lane!

So does that make you a stalker too?

Episode Summary: Takano and Ritsu are riding the train to work. Takano is not feeling 100 percent but Ritsu won’t share his spot so Takano can sit next to him. Takano is banished to the other side of the cabin where he falls asleep. Before he dozes off though he thinks about how cold Ritsu is and how in high school things were totally different. WEEE to high school time. Takano thinks to himself that he knew who Ritsu was before the little kid even confessed to him. Takano comes from a broken family and would hide out in the library after school to avoid going home. He would recheck out some of his favorite books again and noticed that Ritsu checked out…all of them. Now Ritsu is acting uncomfortable and nervous around him, asking if Takano meant it when he said they should go out. Now Takano is so unhappy with his situation at home the thought of Ritsu being this happy and genuine pisses him off and Takano just wants to break the boy. The only comfort Takano seems to have in his life are books and the random cat he found. His parents bicker all the time and neither go to Takano’s school in regards to his future plans.

Maybe Ritsu will be sneakier next time?

Despite this Takano helps Ritsu out when the boy can’t order a sammich from Subway and they bond big time over books and authors. But after a particularly bad day with his parents Takano cannot handle Ritsu being nice to him. Takano snaps and basically says he hates Ritsu and tells him to leave him alone. Ritsu runs off all hurt while Takano thinks about how he sucks and maybe it is better this way. But when Takano goes to leave school and finds that it is raining….Ritsu has returned with an umbrella. Takano asks why Ritsu came back after he said all those things. Ritsu sorta puts the blame on his stalker ways and says that Takano seems stressed out lately. Ritsu offers to listen to Takano if he needs help. Takano is touched by how Ritsu keeps on giving without expecting anything in return. He even tries to hold Ritsu’s hand but Ritsu runs off all embarrassed. Takano catches Ritsu being all cute during school and realizes….MOG I love that kid?! Takano is able to turn down a girl gently and admits he has someone he cares about. That is when he asks Ritsu to come over to his house. Back in the present Takano misses the caring and sweet Ritsu. But when Takano pretends to be sick Ritsu rushes to his side. Despite the fact that Ritsu is a little different Takano is happy to be with him. THE END!

So….where is my lovely sweet almost sex scenes with flowers and sparkles? Yeah I didn’t see any of that. What I did see was Takano acting like a jerk and Ritsu acting like a pushover. Maybe Yokozawa should have been with Takano after all….

Did I say nice? I meant that I hate Takano!

However…it was nice seeing all of this from Takano’s point of view. Not that it was a LOVELY point of view but I guess that makes it more real. Or something. Is real the new word for HORRIBLE yet relatable? We saw Ritsu and his sparkle relationship in the first episode so I guess it is only fitting that we see Takano’s perspective on the events.

Also it was nice to see it wasn’t just a OH HI let’s have sex because you like me relationship. Which is what I thought happened. That poor Ritsu was so swept up in Takano giving him attention he allowed the sexy times to take place before any “dating” went on. So that was a nice surprise, that they actually did other things before getting all hot and heavy.

There are barely any scenes with the family so...have some Ritsu freaking out over hand holding.

I feel as if we learned nothing from Takano’s rough family life. I guess we can just imagine what all the tension was about as no real reason was given for the parents acting like that. Did the “father” just find out Takano wasn’t his real son? Or was it just them growing apart? Or had they always acted like this? No doubt the atmosphere was horrible and would make anyone have relationship issues later in life but no concrete reason was given to WHY the fighting was taking place.

TOO ADORABLE!!!! And sad for words.

I think the cat played a very important part in this episode and it makes me sad that Yokozawa took him (her?) away from Takano. But maybe that was the point. Takano only had this cat to care about and obviously the cat cared about him. Waiting for him to come home from school and being there for him in an empty house. Maybe Yokozawa thought taking away the cat would be a wakeup call for Takano. Too bad the cat stayed with the one who could really take care of him. :( Maybe the episode should have ended with Yokozawa giving the cat to Ritsu and loving him more.

Just a little stalking going on....

Now….I do think that Ritsu was being kinda stalkerish. And Japan seems to be the kind of place where you keep your feelings to yourself. And Takano is the kind of guy who is so far removed from companionship I am surprised he rescued the cat. So I can see how at first Takano would be freaked out by Ritsu. Like MOG too bright he happiness blinds me!

What an unhealthy way to go through life YAY!!!

But Takano being so cruel to Ritsu….just no. Him thinking about wanting to break Ritsu’s spirit is so sad. Ritsu was genuinely missing part of his brain and sparkling all over the place and all Takano wanted to do was make him miserable like him. And of course I thought the homophobic stuff was pretty harsh. He wanted to break Ritsu’s spirit right, not be a bigot? If you don’t want to be with a guy then don’t. Simple as that.

Ritsu being able to forgive him instantly…that was a bit much. I mean….maybe after a while Ritsu could have realized Takano was speaking from an extreme place of hurt and late forgiven him. But to run back and give him an umbrella 5 minutes later. There is love and then there is….well something that makes me sad. Poor Ritsu. No wonder he grew up to be so bitter.

Ordering food is very hard folks!

This is not to say Takano was a complete asshole. These feelings were new to him and he grew up in a broken family. But there were tiny pieces of hope throughout the episode. Like eating at the restaurant with a confused Ritsu/Mugi. Talking about their favorite author. Laughing at Ritsu having a spaz attack. It was nice to see Takano having fun. Just wish he had taken out his aggressions on the people who were hurting him not the person trying to make his life better.

Ritsu is not so sparkly anymore though...

Of course we all know how the story ends which makes Takano realizing he is IN LOVE even more bitter sweet. Such a small misunderstanding makes them lose out on ten years with each other. X__X Maybe that will make me rethink arguments I get in with people. I wouldn’t want them to cause 10 years worth of problems.

Ritsu just needs to give in already since he said the magical words!!!

Takano and Ritsu on the train….well I wish Ritsu would be a little more friendly with Takano. I can see how he wants to be discrete in public but sitting next to Takano would make him happy. Looks like Ritsu is still protesting too much. But he shows how much he really cares when Takano pretends to be sick. So they don’t have the sparkle relationship of high school nor did Takano get his way in breaking Ritsu…totally. Instead they are slightly jaded adults willing to open up their hearts. Just not their bedrooms because of the censors.

Being an adult is fun. Sparkle on.

Overall this was a pretty interesting series to watch. I fear for manga artists everywhere now. X__X One couple had too much focus while another barely got any screen time at all. And Ritsu needed to stop living in denial a little faster. But overall…..yeah working for a manga company is scary. THE END!

Sekai Ichi Hatsukoi Season 2 episode 11

Tenchi….blogging? What is this?!

No seriously the past three days I have been kidnapped. I have been held hostage at the mall, antique stores, and every store in between. I have three dollars in my wallet. X__X I am so broke I can’t even buy a vowel. On the bright side I am completely done Christmas shopping for some people for 2012. Yes folks I shop in advance.

As a result no anime has gotten blogged since Christmas Eve. I am slightly behind X__X. Time to catch up? Haha no I will just keep being behind until probably next Tuesday. Unless I am kidnapped again for shopping. Anyway here is Sekai Ichi Hatsukoi Season 2episode 11!

Err.....that was pretty straightforward....

Episode Summary: The first few minutes were really just scenes from the last episode, with Yokozawa and Ritsu fighting and Takano overhearing the fight. After a business meeting Takano pulls Yokozawa aside so they can talk. Takano wants to know what Yokozawa said to Ritsu. When he gets no answer Takano acknowledges that Yokozawa might have feelings for him due to a brief sexual relationship a long time ago but Takano honestly loves Ritsu. Yokozawa nearly breaks down and says that all these years he has waited for Takano, that when Takano was going through that rough time he was the only person that Takano did not delete from his life. Takano says that he doesn’t feel the same way and despite the fact Ritsu might have hurt him in the past he still loves him. Yokozawa has decided to stop waiting for Takano but needs time to heal. Yokozawa returns to his office and proceeds to bite everyone’s heads off in frustration. When Takano returns upstairs he hears that Ritsu has left to return a library book.

Just a little bit emo....

Takano sets out after him and eventually ends up under an awning with Ritsu as it pours down rain. He tells Ritsu that he told Yokozawa they will not be getting back together as he is in love with Ritsu. Ritsu is like X___X and Takano keeps on talking, about how Ritsu having a fiancée was one of the factors that messed him up back then as well as the divorce and finding out his dad was not his real dad. He also talks about how he didn’t recognize Ritsu right away as Ritsu always blushed during sex. Ritsu gets embarrassed and says well OF COURSE he was only watching Takano from far away at first. Then it is revealed that Takano looked for Ritsu but since Ritsu used a fake name when checking out books he was unable to locate him. This leads to X___X feelings. But Takano takes a deep breath and says he loves Ritsu now and isn’t stuck in the past. Ritsu says he loves him too but the rain drowns out his words and Ritsu won’t repeat it. But Takano takes his hand and leads him back home. Then it turns into sexy time that Ritsu RESPONDS to. This makes Takano happy and we see nothing. :( At work the next day Yokozawa still hates Ritsu but thinks Ritsu is a good worker and as long as he loves Takano things will be okay. Takano flirts with Ritsu in the office…yet tell him some bad news about a storyboard. Ritsu has a spaz attack and all ends well. THE END!

People…..actually said all the words in their minds…and there were no misunderstandings? Pick me off the ground I am SHOCKED. Shocked folks.

Well when Ritsu did confess his feelings the rain did drown out his voice…but later during sexy times when he grabbed Takano that probably spoke louder than words. But other than that NO DRAMA with misunderstandings. I am amazed folks.

I wonder why there was misunderstandings in the first place.....

First Takano is like look Yokozawa tell me what you said to Ritsu. Oh and I know you might still have feelings for me that one time I slept with you and basically made you the most important person in my life. But no that isn’t going to happen again. Ever. Look at Takano being so direct. Could he have been nicer? Probably but he was talking to another boy and they like things that are straight to the point anyway yes?

So much anger. X__X

Yokozawa….well it was nice that he finally explained how he was feeling. Even if it made me feel embarrassed for him. Sticking around someone for nearly 10 years in hopes that one day he would love me back….someone needs more self-esteem. I feel very sorry for him in that regards but not how crazy he was with his Ritsu hating. It makes more sense once we see Takano delete EVERYONE else from his old life and keep Yokozawa around. I can see how he could have been lead on for some time because of that….but 10 years is a long time to wait. A LONG TIME.

In the end I think there should have been more tears and angry feelings. Yokozawa probably needs more than a few days to get over this ACTUALLY being over even if in his heart he knew the truth the entire time. And Takano does have to forgive Yokozawa for what he has done to Ritsu. It is nice that they showed them being mature and all adult like but it didn’t feel as real to me as it could have been.

What was that? The rain drowned out your love confession?

While I thought it was a bit magical for the boys to be stranded under the awning together they were eventually going to talk it out so I guess it doesn’t matter the location. But dude it was just one BAM after another. Did I mention the part when Takano mentioned before his dad was not his real dad? I thought they just got divorced but haha I guess that would be a good reason to leave your wife. Takano kept saying it was a bunch of things that made him “get upset” but he only mentioned the divorce and Ritsu so….

But you ARE a stalker.

I think the most hilarious thing revealed in this episode was Takano trying to find Ritsu only he failed because Ritsu “lied” about his real name. But Ritsu never lied about his name to Takano’s face and Takano never thought to ASK him his name before there was naked penis time. So Takano was having sex with someone and he didn’t know their real name. To me this is hilarious.

I guess missing out on 10 years of awesome sex could make a person upset...

Okay maybe the boys didn’t find it hilarious. In fact had Ritsu used his real name Takano might have been able to find them and NONE OF THIS WOULD HAVE HAPPENED! 10 years of misunderstood feelings and not amazing sex (since you know…they were always thinking about the other). Just….I can see why Ritsu would want to hide his name (as he was correct that Takano noticed) but one would THINK that the silly topic of NAMES would come up since last names are used FIRST in Japan.

It was nice thought that Takano explained why he laughed when Ritsu asked if he loved him. Well back in high school. Because Takano’s reason makes sense. Like I just got done having sex with you and you are asking if I love you? But since I don’t live in Japan and am not a boy maybe it is harder to express and understand other people’s feelings. So I understand why Ritsu asked and why Takano thought it was silly.

MOG please kill me now.

The whole embarrassment scene after the fact was the best part of the episode. Takano is ticked at all this wasted time and Ritsu wanted the sidewalk to eat him. Embarrassed Ritsu was fun to watch.

Then of course it was sexy time. Which was the RIGHT time to have sex. Not when Ritsu was confused how he felt and Takano wasn’t explaining the whole story. Ritsu admitted his feelings and Takano didn’t force him. That is the kind of hot sexy boy on boy times I want to see. Well if we were allowed to see them.

You mean sleeping with the boss gets me no perks?!

And then….it was back to business as usual. Yokozawa has some anger in his heart but seems to acknowledge Ritsu is good at his job and isn’t trying to hurt Takano. Ritsu seems to be trying hard at his work. And then Takano is still picking on Ritsu and making his life miserable. Only now they are flirting at work. XD

Awwww young love....fighting and working together all the time. XD

Next week (or you know…it is already up..) it looks like we are mainly getting flashback scenes from high school. Does that mean we will see some real sex…or under the cover action since that is the last time we saw something rated PG-13?!

Sekai Ichi Hatsukoi Season 2 episode 10

Bleh. I think I have the blehs. Going into details would be a major downer. Just bleh folks.

At least I have ice cream? It might be cold and rainy outside but I have ice cream. So there is still hope in the world.

WEEE! This is me at work everyday woohoo!!!

Let’s just get right into blogging anime shall we? Okay. Sekai Ichi Hatsukoi episode 10 is up next. Stand by for Ritsu stringing Takano along AGAIN. Enjoy.

Ritsu might have been too romantic in high school. Just a tiny bit.

Episode Summary: The episode starts off with a brief flashback of Ritsu following Takano during school and checking out the same books as him. Even though it was something small it made him feel connected to Takano. But in the here and now Ritsu is having a hard time. He overshot the train station and ended up taking a taxi back to work (he was sent to fetch a manuscript). Of course Takano and Yokozawa find out and make fun of Ritsu. Yokozawa does tell Ritsu his event plan for a manga release has been approved but Ritsu’s plan is weak and he needs to change it. Ritsu tries to avoid riding with them in an elevator to avoid the awkwardness but Takano kidnaps him. Ritsu gets all flustered when Takano touches him but gets all weird when Takano and Yokozawa touch each other so casually. Once Yokozawa leaves the elevator Takano tries inviting himself over to Ritsu’s house. Ritsu is like there is nothing between us despite the fact I keep sleeping with you and told An I was in love with someone. Takano is not taking all these excuses lightly and tries to make Ritsu answer him. He even brings up something about Ritsu’s resume and this might have led to something interesting. Only Yokozawa and his evil eye interrupts them.

MOG it took him this long to realize this?!

Walking back to the office Ritsu decides that he does LIKE Takano but he doesn’t know if he should tell him or let things be as they are both adults working together. Everything just seems too complicated for Ritsu to handle and he doesn’t know which direction to take. He even confuses himself into thinking calling An would be a good idea. But when Ritsu decides that he might talk to Takano the next day Takano calls in sick. The other workers say this is a rare occurrence and worry. Ritsu then goes to lay out the new report for Yokozawa but it turns out that Yokozawa went home early. Ritsu fears the worse, that Yokozawa has gone to take care of Takano. Despite that Ritsu goes out and buys tons of medicines. Afraid of who will answer the door Ritsu rings the bell and tries to jet. Only Yokozawa calls him out. Yokozawa basically lights into Ritsu, saying he has been stringing along Takano and ruining his life. Yokozawa says he loves Takano and knows everything about him and should be the one to be with him. Yokozawa screams for a while and Ritsu finally is done. He says he is tired of Takano stalking him and he hates the whole situation and actually he hates Takano. Of course this is when Takano opens the door. He tells both men to leave but not before making sure Ritsu is okay. Ritsu takes off as he is so embarrassed about everything. Takano tries contacting Ritsu but he doesn’t answer the phone. Ritsu continues to struggle at work as he can’t get Takano off his mind. THE END!

HMM FOLKS HMM!

I might…MIGHT be on Yokozawa’s side. MIGHT!

Wait aren't we supposed to hate you? Stop making sense!

Which would be interesting since I have been on his case since day one. My mentality was Ok so you “dated” Takano for a few minutes and you are jealous that Takano likes someone else? And when it was clear in the beginning that Ritsu was trying to ESCAPE the attention Yokozawa blamed Ritsu for making Takano unfocused. I thought Yokozawa was out of line and was picking on someone he should have been taking care of at work (the idea that someone who is older/been there longer at a company should mentor the younger employees).

Scared that the person who has been around for the past 10 years will open it?

But now…maybe Yokozawa was right all along. Or he wasn’t AS EVIL as I thought he was. I still don’t think Ritsu is to blame for Takano picking him. Yokozawa is the one clinging to a few rolls in the hay back in the day. Takano is also to blame. He shouldn’t have slept with his friend if his heart was in a different place. I subscribe to the romantic school of thought. But even though I understand not everyone feels the same way as I do I still think having sexy times with people you consider to be your friends is a very, very bad idea. Especially when you are in a yaoi manga where people carry on romantic feelings for over 10 years AND SAY NOTHING!

I am on the fence about this. Is it better to have butterflies in your stomach or be so comfortable around a person everything seems natural? HMM folks.

However…it really has gone on for too long. Exactly how many more times is Ritsu going to deny that he has feelings for Takano? The 23092847th time there is sexy times? Not that Yokozawa should know that there are sexy times taking place a million times. But I am sure he can figure things out and realize that Ritsu keeps saying no but sleeps with Takano anyway. Then the next day Ritsu keeps saying things like I hate you or it meant nothing and blah blah. While it is obvious that it does mean something and Ritsu is a giant liar it doesn’t mean Takano is a complete robot. Sooner or later hearing all of Ritsu’s rants, true or not, would affect him.

Of course he was an asshole to Ritsu at work.....

So that is why I feel as if Yokozawa is not totally a bad person. He is a jealous person and overly critical of Ritsu’s work. But I can see how even if he was not in love with Takano he should still be upset this Ritsu is being a user. Obviously Takano is a little obsessed himself being in love with someone ten years after the fact while only briefly knowing them. Still friends support friends through tough times and hate people who hurt their friends. So…yeah. Not as mad at jealous Yokozawa as I was before.

But is this going to be a giant we hate Ritsu post? Err….I hope not. XD I mean….love is complicated. It is not easy and it takes a lot of work. Also this is portraying a real scenario where two grown men are trying to figure out their feelings while balancing their careers AND not being honest with each other because that is the Japanese way. I say real like they are alive and aren’t sparkling all over the place.

MOG THAT WAS TEN YEARS AGO!!!

Still…..while I do think Ritsu is leading Takano on I don’t think we should throw him off a bridge and wash our hands from him. Both Takano and Ritsu have reacted pretty badly to a relationship that was super brief AND IN HIGH SCHOOL. Ritsu was bitter in all his other relationship and gave up on finding love. Takano was OBSESSED with Ritsu and left a path of broken hearts while he slept his way out of the pain. Both boys had negative reactions to their “break-up”.

Did I mention that Takano was pushy?

But at this point Ritsu needs to stop being stubborn and just admit to how he feels.
At first Takano was being pushy. And then Takano was being really pushy. And now Takano is still being pushy. If Ritsu really had a problem with it he should have gotten a restraining order or left. But his man pride got in the way and let’s be real. He never got over Takano and once he realized it was a big misunderstanding he realized he still had feelings for the man. However it has gone on for QUITE a while and he needs to get with the program.

People can only handle so much. Yokozawa pushed way too many buttons.

I don’t fault Ritsu for saying all the “cruel” things he said to Yokozawa about Takano. He really was pushed to the edge and probably felt guilty and scared. Guilty because maybe some of the things Yokozawa was saying were true? Scared because obviously Yokozawa had been around a lot longer and knows Takano so much better? And really some of the things Ritsu was saying were true. Takano has been a little stalkerish and has made Ritsu’s life slightly miserable. So not getting upset with him over saying all those things.

See if someone screamed that about me I probably would not be concerned with their well being. Just saying.

And yet…why does Takano come out smelling like a rose? Because when I am sick and cranky I don’t really want to be nice and generous to other people. I would expect him to yell and throw more of a fit. Not tell Yokozawa to hit the road and make sure Ritsu is okay. He is always yelling at work why can’t he make the situation really horrible and scream? Bleh. BLEH! Why is Ritsu always the bad guy? Why can’t things get to Takano too? Of course when Takano is assertive and angry that usually leads to Takano pushing Ritsu into corners and such.

So the episode ends with Ritsu having a spaz attack at work. There are only two episodes left. X___X Can they really spread that much drama out into two more episodes? There is the whole matter with the resume….Still I don’t want to see Ritsu not speaking him mind for 50 more minutes. Get with the program dude!

Sekai Ichi Hatsukoi episode 9

How is it already December 4th? It seems like it was Thanksgiving just the other day. I still have decorations to hang up! They were all supposed to be up by November 30th. I am behind people. BEHIND! Cards need to be sent, cookies need to be eaten (cause I don’t bake), and presents need to be wrapped. There are only 21 days left til Christmas!!!

XD Silly Christmas. Taking over all of December and most of November. Works up people into believing they have to hurry up or they will miss the holiday. XD But I guess that is part of the fun. Or one could find it fun. In any event I guess I like a month long holiday as long as the “pressure” is fun and not overwhelming.

I wish I could get along with my co-workers this well!

I think as long as I get all the decorations up today I will be in a happy mood. That and I am eagerly awaiting more pictures of Ms. Baby Anime. She and Momma Friend are scheduled to come home today and I demand Facebook pictures! While I am waiting for that I guess I can get around to blogging. Spoilers for Sekai Ichi Hatsukoi episode 9. The manga industry is bad for your health!

Episode Summary: Kisa is sitting in a meeting when Takano yells at him. A flustered Kisa realizes he forgot the necessary paper work for this unnecessary meeting (as they all work within 3 feet of each other) and rushes back to the office to get what he needs. In the elevator Kisa runs into an officer worker he knows. They don’t seem to like each other but the woman tells him of her plans to get married. She talks about how the job has no growth and she wants more stability, something that is hers to come home to. Given her great track record at the office Kisa worries for his own future. It has been three days since he saw Yukina with that girl and since then Kisa has ignored Yukina’s texts. This explains why Kisa is all X__X at work. While walking back with the correct paperwork Kisa accidentally answers his phone and it is Yukina. Yukina tries apologizing for whatever he did and wants to desperately see Kisa. Kisa is deeply in love with Yukina but is afraid he is going to get dumped soon. So in a super dramatic way Kisa dumps Yukina via phone and deletes his number.

Oh crap know I am just as stupid as Ritsu and Yoshino!

Kisa goes home all sad and pouty face. Once there Kisa gets all dramatic about returning a book to Yukina. Dude works in a book store I think it will be fine. Kisa then receives a call from some random dude he met a long time ago. Dude wants to have the sex with Kisa and since Kisa is like WELL I SUCK agrees to the sex as long as he can spend the night. The guy comes over and starts putting the moves on Kisa when Yukina comes up and slaps Kisa. He threatens the random guy and manhandles inside the apartment demanding to know what is going on. Inside Kisa has a meltdown first being too calm then screaming about Yukina’s girlfriend. Yukina is like um no that is my friend from school. Kisa doesn’t want to admit he is wrong and still thinks that Yukina will break up with him one day. Kisa lists the reasons why and Yukina explains he was only trying to give Kisa space since he has a demanding job. Yukina then talks about every little mundane fact about his life so Kisa can know him better, ending with the fact he loves Kisa. Kisa accepts that he is at fault for not having enough self-confidence and Yukina promises to help find him some. Work gets better or at least Kisa tells himself that. It is still busy but Yukina has the great idea of having sleep overs so they can spend more time together. YAY breakfast in bed THE END!

WAIII! No sex scenes for me. Or any other yaoi fangirl. Heck we are barely getting skin at this point people. We can have boobies floppin all over the place but heaven forbid we see a boy with a shirt off in the presence of another boy. THE HORROR!

So….I almost hate manga now. X___X Okay I lie. I am dramatic. But seriously. This show is all about the crazy world of making manga and everyone involved is stressed out and tired and on edge. In real life writers get so burnt out their work goes unfinished for years/forever. Some assistants have to SLEEP at the writers house just to get the job done. And now with news that one member of CLAMP has a serious back issue due to SITTING all the time…seriously folks. I love manga but not at the expense of people’s mental and physical health. XO Give the workers a break Japan.

How could I have made a mistake in front of the great Takano!!!

Kisa was pretty much off his game at work. I can understand that but can see why Takano was pissed off. I guess…I GUESS Takano is good at leaving his personal life at the door. Not sure how realistic that is but yeah one should be professional at work. But since this is probably the first time Kisa has spaced out over love maybe Takano shouldn’t be that hard on him.

BY THE WAY! Like it is no big deal.

That lady in the elevator was…rude. Kisa was being…brisk yet polite with her and she was rude. Looks like those two do not get along but she wants to ask him for a wedding gift? I don’t recall her even INVITING Kisa. Weddings are so expensive in Japan, for the guest anyway. I know in some states (for well to do people anyway) they write a check AFTER eating dinner based on how much they think it cost to host the party for each person. This I find tacky but nowhere as expensive as attending a wedding in Japan. Especially for the younger friends attending weddings. Just starting your real job and people are running around getting married before they are Christmas cakes? X__X Poor Kisa bleeding money.

Kisa is a bit self sabotaging here. Oh hi my work sucks so let me end my great relationship before it has a chance to suck too!

But the point of random rude lady in the elevator was to get Kisa thinking about his future and what he is really doing at work. He busts his butt every day at work and sacrifices most of his social life and where will that get him in life? To me it sounds like there is not much room for personal growth at this job and with the long hours what they are and being replaceable at a moment’s notice it might be hard to continuing working at that neck breaking speed. Ritsu came in with NO manga experience and is doing just fine. Kisa has been there forever and is at the same level as Ritsu is now. So…yeah. I am assuming that while this random elevator lady has good numbers her position has stayed relatively the same the past 10 years and there is no room for growth. Thus she wants to get married. Because coming home to someone is more important that work.

Sounds so lonely. At least when I want to burn down my place of employment I know that I have someone to bail me out of jail. Also I hope my place of employment doesn't burn down because with this blog I am suspect number 1!

XD Really that should have been her point all along, not the work is not satisfying route. Kisa kept saying so you are getting married for money? You getting married to quit your job? Which is what it sounded like she WAS saying. I didn’t get a I’m in love romantic vibe off her. Of course to go that route she would have had to say I am quitting my demanding job so I can focus on my love life. I guess she gave confusing answers because it is a confusing situation.

A bit too late dude! You should have slept outside his house.

I think that Yukina should have come over sooner than that. Or maybe called the office to see if Kisa was still alive. Unless Yukina was not doing those things because he assumed Kisa was mad at him. Still when I am mad at my husband the longer he doesn’t do something about the situation the more I want to chop his head off with a pizza cutter. Leaving things undone is a not a healthy way to live.

WEEE making bad decisions!

Insert a picture of Kisa here. See he is the poster boy of not talking about things. Maybe the reason he has been unable to love until now is that he let things die. Instead of working on the situation and talking things out it was easier to leave things unsaid and walk away. I think I am making excuses for Kisa having low self-esteem and having…many adventures with men.

Kisa's face is hilarious. I am sure no one at the time thought that though.

I really can’t fault Kisa for wanting to get out of a relationship before he got hurt. He thinks Yukina is cheating on him and even if he is not Kisa’s self-esteem is so low in the toilet he believes Yukina will leave him soon. So to protect himself Kisa ended the relationship before he got in too deep (Um too late!) and decided to have some random sex with a sorta random dude to get his mind off Yukina. I understand this. Very sad for Kisa.

Dude you need to defend your booty call!!!!!

Yukina was wrong to slap Kisa. Kisa had the look of guilt on his face and the dude was all WTF?! If Yukina thought Kisa was in danger he should have hit the other dude. But since that was not the case and he hit Kisa I am not happy. While Kisa did not let Yukina speak Kisa DID break up with him so he was free to do what he wanted. If Yukina was unhappy he should have expressed that in a less violent way.

This is VERY important information folks!!!

Kisa being in denial and Yukina handling Kisa’s meltdown (well after the unnecessary slap) was well done. Both felt like real reactions to the situation and not some sparkle produced yaoi love fest. Kisa was in vain trying to protect himself and Yukina was trying desperately to hold to their relationship. Sure yelling where he was born and his favorite foods seems stupid but at the moment both men were desperate and saying stupid things.

Aw I love happy endings!

Obviously the men made up later that night. Or maybe 5 minutes later. Not much has changed for them except they understand where the other is coming from. Kisa knows that Yukina really does want to spend time with Kisa but honors his work arrangement. Yukina realizes that Kisa needs more attention despite not having enough time to accept all this attention. I think Kisa got a little too happy over his work situation when not much has changed but I guess it is better to be positive about a situation that negative. And yay for sleepovers!!! XD I am glad Yukina didn’t immediately move in but staying over will allow for them to spend more time together that doesn’t only include nakie times.

It looks like the Kisa and Yukina romance has been wrapped up. Now that there is no misunderstanding drama things can move on to a happy conclusion yes? I do think they could have another episode with Kisa and Yukina trying to figure things out and SHOCK going on a first date. But obviously whoever was in charge of the anime hates this couple so that is probably not going to happen. YAY RITSU!
