Amagami SS episode 20: Such sadness

Well ya’ll. Ya’ll. I am back from my trip alive and not as tired as I was when I arrived there. Which is weird but I’m weird. And my plan was to decorate my house with all my Christmas stuff as it is my Thanksgiving tradition. Which might take a while since I have 7 trees and have plans to buy another one.

So why am I here tonight when I was planning on doing some major blogging on Sunday? BECAUSE MY MOMMA LOVES ME! She decided to bring ALL my trees upstairs, find all my ornaments, and do 90% of the Christmas decorating for me. XO What a lovely surprise to come home to since that takes HOURS to do. XO So yes people I love my momma! Thank you momma!

Oh and I can’t do the other 10% because my husband is taking apart the house to hang up his new flat screen TV. Happy Black Friday ya’ll.

I know this will end well.

So first on the list to catch up on is Amagami SS episode 20. Let’s see if Rihoko’s arc ends with happiness and sweets!

Hi maybe you could kiss our friend now or something?!

Episode Summary: Kanae is not pleased to learn that Rihoko has made absolutely no progress with Junichi since New Year’s Eve. Kanae offers to help again but Rihoko says she rather wait. After all she has been waiting for 12 years!!!!! After being picked on for not following her diet Rihoko spots Junichi eating his lunch so Rihoko takes the opportunity to get picked on again. After school Rihoko and Junichi wait for the two seniors girls. Turns out they were late because they were trying to get Haruka to join their club. Something to do with puppies. Only it failed and Rihoko is looking like the only member still and it is starting to make her sad. The senior girls are like Junichi JOIN THE CLUB but he doesn’t despite the fact that Rihoko is so, so sad. Rihoko is then seen making some sort of pastry for Valentine’s day. She is all happy and such.

I don't see you handing any boys chocolates!

Miya and her friends are making chocolates at his house and he is told what a loser he is for only receiving friend flowers. Junichi tries hanging out in the Tea Club but it turns into the seniors trying to set Junichi up with Rihoko. Junichi’s friend can’t even beg his way into friendship chocolate so what a sad panda he must be. Rihoko gives her chocolates to Junichi and tries to find out who he wants to receive chocolates from. When he doesn’t give an answer seasons chhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhange. Rihoko is seen trying to get new club members and dieting. Only she fails at both. When the senior girls graduate it is very sad and they have a moment where everyone has tears. Then Junichi walks in and is like it’s okay ladies, I will join the club!!!! So tears turn into happiness ya’ll. Sometime later in the spring, when the freshmen are trying to figure out which clubs to join Junichi and Rihoko host a tea ceremony. The former seniors return to pick on Rihoko and try to nudge Junichi in the right direction. In her closing speech Rihoko admits that not much progress has been made but one day. ONE DAY PEOPLE! The end….

WELL THEN PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!

This arc was so awesome. It was about two best friends who found love in the end. The slightly bigger girl (meaning a size 8 apparently) got the guy. They had dramatic experiences and the boy saved the day and in return he won the girl’s heart in the end. YAY FOR HAPPILY EVER AFTERS!!!

OH THIS IS SO SHOCKING!

Only that didn’t happen. Didn’t happen at all people. Except for the saving the club part that anyone with half a brain saw coming about 5 episodes and this arc was only 4 episodes long.

You gave it a good try Kanae.

I really like Kanae. She gave good advice, she knew when to back off, and she always wished Rihoko all the best of luck. And for Kanae I will overlook the diet comments because sometimes best friends are supposed to be annoying. It might come off rude to me and you but sometimes best friends need to tell each other rough stuff. Like girl those pants make your butt look huge kinda things. But she wasn’t laying it on think in front of Junichi and was trying to support her friend in the best ways she could. So I really like Kanae.

Actually Rihoko had really nice friends. GROUP HUG!

That and I think Kanae was just as disappointed as we (well me but I am sure others) that Rihoko didn’t get the guy in the end. Cry with me Kanae.

This all makes sense....

I am not really going to dog Rihoko on her slow pacing with Junichi. Because if it took her since kindergarten to get this far (which I guess is the handing out presents stage) her trying to make a move on Junichi from the time period of New Year’s Eve to Valentine’s Day was pretty low. However in her senior year she really needs to step up her game as they aren’t necessarily going to be together in college.
Ruriko and Manaka trying to get Haruka to join the club was stupid. And a huge waste of time. But I thought the puppies were cute?

OH WOULDN'T THAT BE TERRIBLE?!?!?!

Really I don’t understand the drama with Junichi not joining the club and things being up in the air. We all knew he was going to join so I think it was kinda rude and almost like torture to put Rihoko through all that. Like she is busting her butt (or…you know doing what Rihoko does) to save the club when HELLO there was someone all along that could have joined the club. Useless I tell you

But maybe Rihoko saw Clannad or something. Maybe that is why she was so worried.

Rihoko making chocolates (well sorta chocolates anyway) was sweet. Not the typical anime scene since Rihoko has made chocolates for Junichi before so she isn’t all nervous in the corner ready to be rejected.

This is about all the happy ending you gonna get so enjoy.

HOWEVER people….just disappointment all over my face. In all the other arcs Junichi has started to have feelings for the girls and this point Junichi should have blushed when he received the chocolates. But no people. He just ate them like any other food Rihoko makes him. Because Junichi has not progressed at all. He still sees Rihoko as his friend, as someone who will give Junichi “obligation chocolates”. So Rihoko suffers quietly and Junichi doesn’t look like a loser since he received at least one chocolate.

Someday somehow

So a few months later when the seniors graduated and Rihoko and Junichi are running the club…no progress has been made. Rihoko still hasn’t told Junichi how she feels. Junichi hasn’t taken the hint from everyone that Rihoko likes him. And there are no new members yet (which might change after the Ceremony but who knows). We got Junichi blushing when people say they make a AW cute couple comment but that is about it.

Um thanks I just want a happy ending okay. And not that kind.

Some people have said that Rihoko’s arc is more realistic. That all the girls have gotten together with Junichi and this mixes things up. Well people why couldn’t they do that with Ai’s arc? We have seen tons of animes where the best friend gets pushed aside for the interesting new girl in town. And to add insult to injury we have the best friend WHO IS A FATTIE. SO FAT PEOPLE. DON’T WE FEEL BAD FOR THE FAT GIRL?! She will never get a guy but will have doughnuts to comfort her in her hour of need.
Really people? Was this the best arc to break the cycle of the girl not getting the guy?

Was this arc worth it? On one hand there is the hope that Rihoko will someday get Junichi. That all the events of the past 4 episodes will help her have enough courage to tell Junichi flat out how she feels. That this is a more realistic outcome, that sometimes it takes more than two weeks to land a guy. And that really Junichi is pretty stupid.

Why does everyone pick on me?

On the other hand…Rihoko was the nicest girl so far. She genuinely loved him since forever. She was sweet and caring and she got nothing. Nice girls finish last? I don’t know, I am disappointed.

We are almost done folks. Apparently this last arc is the arc that everyone has been waiting for. How crazy will class representative be? Stand tune to find out. Peace out Rihoko, you lost obviously.

Kobato Drop 22c: MAKE IT STOP!

Of course the person who has been waiting the longest is Ioryogi...

XO It is almost time for me to come home from my trip. :( It will be nice to see my kitties again and sleep in my own bed again but I will miss my friends. And the whole not working makes me happy. Especially since my boss has decided to open up shop tomorrow despite the fact before….2 hours ago we all (well the mangers agreed) that we wouldn’t be opened and us workers were WOOHOO! But I am not going in so WOOHOO for me okay.

But sad that I am going home. We are chillin watching TV so I thought I would get some blogging done. But since I don’t want to be anti-social I will blog manga because that requires no sound. XD And little paying attention.

But it is only Kobato Drop 22c. So…yeah folks. Yeah.

So much talking!

Kohaku is still talking to Ginsei about reincarnation and such. She is really talking about her and Shuichiro but the conversation could be about any of the characters. She is saying the same thing about blah blah if Shuichiro doesn’t love me in my new life I am fine with it. I don’t think I would be fine with it but whatever.

What she does say that is actually important and not regurgitated crap that has been going on for months now is that angels, demons, and other world things are not immortal. Which surprises me. Does that mean they can be killed? But if they aren’t killed would they live forever? I have something new to ponder now.

My lover loves someone else so I should be happy?

Ginsei was acting a little weird too though. Is he in love with Ioryogi? Maybe. I think I forgot at this point. But the way Kohaku is going on about letting people go if they don’t love you makes me think that. So I guess Ginsei will help out Kobato when she needs it the most so he can help out Ioryogi. So we all can go AW when it works and Ginsei is left alone.

I wish to know who Ginsei is!!! His Earth him anyway.

Mr. Bear is also talking to Mr. Bird but I don’t think Mr. Bird really cares. No no Mr. Bear is talking to us. Even though Mr. Bear is mad that Ioryogi does stupid things without thinking you can tell he is concerned for Ioryogi. Also interesting is that tiny splat Ginsei at the bottom. Long hair? HMMMM what is going on?

MY SAD BROKEN HEART!!!!!

Meanwhile Kobato is still talking to Okiura. STILL! Still people. Really I don’t even know. But she is talking about his heart and all. How he closes it and won’t let people in. Really I think I have heard this all before. I guess if the chapters were broken up better it would FLOW better and not seem like a never ending conversation. And well it looks like it is starting to work, Kobato’s words. Okiura is now acting uncomfortable around Kobato.

Ioryogi needs a hug. :(

This whole conversation is making Ioryogi think. He sees his angel Kobato when human Kobato tries talking to Okiura. Which makes sense since they have the same soul and all. It must be hard for Ioryogi.

Oh and Fujimoto is running around like a crazy person still looking for her. Only now he knows where to go since his friend is like dude I know where Kobato is. Run Fujimoto run.

How dare we want to make people happy.

Shuichiro comes home from work to see a sad Kohaku. She is sad because she doesn’t have the power to do anything anymore. But she wishes that everyone will be happy. And like any good Japanese heroine that makes her arrogant of something. Wishing for the happiness of others makes you a bad person. OKAY. But at least Shuichiro supports her in her arrogant ways. They make a cute couple so I am glad that Shuichiro continues to be with her. Yay.

….So maybe in one more month Fujimoto will find Kobato? Maybe? Just maybe my friends? I hope so anyway….

Happy Turkey Day to all!!

Happy Thanksgiving one and all. It is a little weird because according my laptop it is 2 where I am from but it is only noon where I am. XO My tummy wants to know where the turkey is!

Um...it looks Fall like? WORK WITH ME PEOPLE!

Just got done watching the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade. A little disappointed that they didn’t showcase Hello Kitty that much and I guess the Harajuku Lover’s float was only for when they debut two years ago. But I liked it, glad I was able to watch the whole thing this year. XD Personal favorites (besides Hello Kitty of course) is the Pikachu balloon and Snoopy balloon/float.

So as I wait for my Turkey Day hosts to finish preparing our feast I thought I would jot down a few things that I am thankful for this year. This of course is not a full list as throughout the year I would forget things…because I am forgetful. XD But yes just a few things that are sticking out in my mind right now.


Things I am thankful for:

I am thankful for all the years my grandfather did have. 85 wonderful years he had on this Earth. He served in the military, raised a family, and delighted his neighbors, really a whole community with his bird houses. I am thankful that I had so many years with him when many don’t get to know their grandparents at all.

I am thankful I have a job. Now I know I go on and on about how much I hate my job. Because I do. But I am thankful that I HAVE a job when many others, some my friends/family, have been out of work for a while. So while work drives me crazy 90 percent of the time I am thankful that I have money to buy things, like food, health insurance, and Harajuku Lovers purses.

I am thankful that my husband and his unit/people came home safely from the place they went to. He assures me it wasn’t THAT dangerous but considering where he went I think he might be telling me stories so I don’t worry. But yes I am glad he came back safe and sound.

I am thankful that in the 5 plus years I had no health insurance nothing bad happened to me. Of course now that I have health insurance I don’t WANT bad things to happen to me. But yeah, happy that I am alive and well.

I am thankful that my kitties are still alive and well. Even if they drive me crazy. All the time. XD But I love them anyways. Sorta miss them this holiday but I will spoil them later.

I am really thankful that our airport doesn’t have the cancer causing e-ray screening thing. Just…yeah.

And of course I am thankful for all (well select…) my family and friends. That is a given for this holiday season. Sure they also drive me crazy at times but I love them all and each one of them adds something important to my life. So thank you my crazy people, you are special. And I love special.

Harajuku Lovers Hot Stuff purse and random coin purse

Behold I am alive. I am surrounded by MOUNTAINS ya'll. Mountains. Like I look out the window and I see a huge giant rock in the close distance. Also you drive down the block and I see cacti. WTF cacti? Spelling is hard.

However the temperature is the same here as it is in Florida so that is always good. We are having a great time doing wedding stuff and eating like pigs.

In between this all I did a little shopping. Because.....I totally rock at saving money. XD Enjoy.

Look a NORMAL size purse. All my other Harajuku Lovers bags so far have been totes. So really...this was necessary purchase yes?

I like the real pins on there though. Almost like some free freebies for me. And I like free stuff.

So these are my treasures. This Ross had so much more Harajuku Lovers stuff than mine usually does, including the big perfume bottles for only $25 dollars. I am jealous. But I have been told there are TWO more Ross' within 5 miles of my friend's house...so maybe I will have more opportunities to put myself into debt. YAY spending money. XD

To Aru Majutsu No Index Season Two episode 7

What? Tenchi is going out of town AGAIN? Does this girl ever stay home? Obviously not. My plans to earn money for Japan are obviously not working so well. But I has a good reason ya’ll. I am going to visit one of my best friends for Thanksgiving and get some wedding planning done. Exciting times.

Just pray ya’ll that I get chosen to do the regular metal detector and not the Cancer causing scan or the full on assault/molestation pat down.

Are you insane?

But before I leave I decided I would make myself super tired and stay up to blog another episode. Because I barely function on 7 hours sleep let’s see how I can function with less than 5 hours sleep. Spoilers for a short summary and a shorter arc!

Wait are we in this episode?

Episode Summary: Misaka leaves the scene to hunt down Musujime. Kuroko finds her in an old building and proceeds to stab her where Musujime stabbed her earlier. After Kuroko picks on Musujime about teleporting wrong two years ago the two fight. It ends with an entire room of furniture landing on Kuroko. Musujime takes the time to tell the sad story of the Misaka clones and what not. She also explains why she is trying to put together the Tree Diagram again. Either because she wants to see if animals have powers or she thinks that it is unfair she has powers. Something anyway. Kuroko thinks she is full of crap and manages to stand. Only Musujime shoots her and has a mental breakdown. She leaves while trying to level the building. Only the main Misaka clone has contacted Touma who has met up with Misaka to save Kuroko. Yeah. Musujime ends up escaping only to find out her people got taken over by the popo. She tries to think of a plan but the Accelerator appears and kicks her ass all over the damn place. Touma ends up getting slapped at the sight of naked women and Kuroko has a new found respect for Misaka. THE END!

Well then.

GO TOWARDS THE LIGHT!

Why the well then? Because this arc was so short. Not that this episode was BAD but it did feel a little weak and rushed. I feel as if there was more to say about the whole Musujime issues but everything got handled in two quick episodes. :(

But I am not saying this episode was bad or horrible. Just I thought more could have been done with this arc and the writers cut themselves short by making Musujime a weak girl and making the issue so easy to fix.

I do think that Kuroko was pretty bad ass today. When she was all stabbing Musujime I was like WOOHOO! Usually Kuroko is all official in her Judgment tasks and such. But today she was like REVENGE all over the place and I loved it. Go Kuroko. Until the next time you piss me off.

And they all lived happily ever after THE END!

Musujime telling Kuroko about Misaka and the experiment was kinda weird though. Maybe Kuroko really did understand what she was saying. They do portray these 12 year olds as super smart children who put me to shame. But yeah it was all very bare details and I am not sure why Musujime told her. If only to make Kuroko pissed off and sad that she is not a part of Misaka’s world.

Did I seriously just get saved by Touma?

The battle was pretty awesome too. Some stabbing, some table throwing, and some blood. These little kids are really going all out. XO Also picking up everything in the room and throwing it on Kuroko’s body was slightly overboard. I might have been down for the count if one table landed on me.

But then when Musujime’s real reason for doing all this crazy crap was revealed I was not impressed. Also I was a little confused. Does she want to put back the Diagram Tree to see if animals can have abilities too? Or does she want to get rid of her powers? CONFUSED!

Life is hard when you are kicking so much ass.

Since the animal issue got pushed aside really fast I will focus on her POOR HER bit. Like…you can do all this amazing stuff and I am supposed to feel bad for you? POOR GIRL WITH NO SHIRT! I feel SO BAD you can teleport yourself and objects across space. I mean…what a horrible life she must lead ya’ll. Do you see the tears in my eyes?

I think that only works for Touma...

I like that Kuroko was like….are you crazy bitch? If you don’t like your abilities DON’T USE THEM! If you feel bad for people who don’t have abilities THEN DON’T HURT THEM! If you think having an ability makes things unfair DON’T USE PEOPLE AS HUMAN SHIELDS! Yes Kuroko you made sense today. Congrads. Have a cookie.

You brought a GUN to an ability fight? Lame.

Then Musujime cracks. Like…what was that? She was some awesome person stabbing Kuroko and throwing tables at her and then she nervously uses a gun to blast Kuroko away? Oh yes I feel so bad for her. My tears will drown me in my sleep.

Hi this was boring.

The whole deal with the group of Misaka clones talking to themselves was useless since they did…nothing. Instead of sending out the more important clone who is injured why didn’t someone else get Touma? Useless time I think.

Also I don’t get why Misaka hid in the shadows after Kuroko was rescued. Like don’t you want to hug your friend? Or at least protect Touma in case Kuroko attempts to kick his ass? Craziness I tell you.

That was a super fair fight!

The Accelerator kicking Musujime’s ass was a bit amusing. That and Musujime had lost her mind at this point. Her whole MOG you are too strong AHA you have lost all your powers YOU SUCK thing was amusing. Even though Accelerator got shot in the head it only took him about twenty seconds for him to kick Musujime’s ass. He might not have his A game anymore but with a little practice I think he will be back to his evil self soon.

Hugs? Hugs for all?

The episode ends with some naked girls, Touma being in trouble, and the Accelerator pretending he is not a good person. All and all a good way to end a rather short arc. I wonder what will happen in our next exciting episode ya’ll!

Togainu no Chi episode 7: Keisuke really loses his mind X_X

Ya’ll. Ya’ll. I wanted to set everyone I work with on fire today. But since I couldn’t I decided to cry for ten minutes in the back when everything hit the fan and I couldn’t take anymore. THEN I decided to come and watch a much of morons of last week’s Walking Dead.

THEN I decided to watch the newest episode of Togainu no Chi. Because I decided if I was having a bad day I was going to watch everyone else having a bad day too. XD Even though I just watched a Togainu no Chi episode I figured why not. Might as well see how much Keisuke snaps all over the place. XD

Oh and spoilers for crazy Keisuke too.

That and I am going out of town…ON SUNDAY! So now I don’t want to wait to see what happens. XD Spoilers for Akira not beating people up.

Akira has absolutely no idea what is going on...ever.

Episode Summary: A very sad Keisuke is walking around feeling bad for himself. After he smashes his fist against the ground he feels sorry for himself and how he is a burden to Akira. The narrator COLOR dude is watching from a tall building talking about colors and looking genuinely sad when Keisuke finds Line and decides to take it. Five seconds before he was talking about seeing Akira smile and after the drugs he is like I WANT TO SEE AKIRA BLEEDING AND DEAD ON THE GROUND! After all that Akira wakes up in some place with creepy Keisuke staring at him. Keisuke confesses to killing all the people in the club and Takeru. Akira is like OH NO you too Line?! Keisuke starts to talk about this is how Akira wanted him and he should be happy. But then when Akira isn’t happy Keisuke proceeds to beat Akira unconscious.

Um you want me to go where? To get who?

Arbitro, his DOG, and the Executioners are investigating the club scene with Arbitro being all weird. Some dude tells Arbitro that after Takeru licked Akira’s blood he went insane. Arbitro is like HMMMMMMM. Rin finds Akira and takes him to a safe place. Akira tells Rin that Keisuke took line and Rin only blames Akira 20 percent. Everything is all sad and such. They have their moment and Rin leaves to investigate stuff. Before Akira can feel bad for himself Arbitro’s DOG walks in and gives Akira letter. It invites Akira to lunch with Arbitro. AMAZING. Akira is so amazed he decides to go for a walk. He runs into narrator dude, aka sparkles from last week. He gives Akira a suitcase and some weird words. Shiki then comes by for the suitcase and pretends to threaten Akira. Akira is all like WTF is going on!?!?! Oh and the people who sent Akira to CrazyLand are talking about N and going to Crazyland. THE END!

Like..yeah Keisuke. Cracked all over the place.

RUN AKIRA! Run before...well you die.

Actually now that I am thinking about it not much happen this episode. Without playing the game I feel as if the point of this episode was to hit major game points. Akira meets with crazy Keisuke. Akira has a heart to heart with Rin. Arbitro wants to talk to Akira. Narrator dude talks to Akira. And Shiki threats/talks to Akira.

Great now everyone is talking about colors.

Let’s talk about the narrator dude. Since his name hasn’t been mentioned yet I will say narrator dude. Because I am awesome. But he is annoying. COLORS! Everyone is not a color but can become a color and blue and red and COLORS! Yeah he is annoying. Trying way too hard.

Now we will talk about Keisuke. Because a lot needs to be said about Keisuke. Him and crazy self. Like I have fights with my husband all the time. But I don’t get so depressed about it that I go out and take dangerous drugs that I found on the ground. BECAUSE I AM NOT A CRAZY PERSON!

See Keisuke is sensitive because his tears sparkle.

However Keisuke is a weak minded person. He clung to Akira’s coattails in the “real” world and he is doing so in CrazyLand. He knew he was a burden to Akira but didn’t know how to fix it. He became desperate and desperate people do crazy things. Like take dangerous drugs even though they have seen the scary side effects.

He knows when you are sleeping....

Now….I haven’t see a normal person before and after taking Line. So to say that Keisuke’s personality changing is weird might be wrong. But Takeru wasn’t….you know, losing his mind afterwards. He wanted to kill Akira before and win the tournament and after he wanted to kill Akira and win the tournament. Keisuke wanted to make sweet love to Akira under the moonlight before and now he wants to bathe in the sticky blood that is his dead rape victim. DO NOT GET IT.

Just a little bit of snapping though.

Maybe he snapped folks. Maybe the nicer one is before Line the greater their downfall. Or maybe Keisuke I don’t know. The point is he wanted to see Akira’s dead face and yet he left him on the flood…not dead. Even after drugs Keisuke is a failure.

Rin magically finding Akira was magical. But since Rin found him before there was any screwdrivers placed IN Akira I am happy. I was actually feeling the mood when Rin and Akira were talking about the drugs. But no happy ending for Rin either. So sad.

That's nice but let's talk about us?

But yeah, Rin could have done a little better saying it’s not your fault Akira. Because why Akira was harsh he wasn’t THAT harsh. However Rin did just meet Akira despite the fact that everyone is acting like BFFs right now. It was kinda cute, I don’t know.

This kind of thing is BENEATH me. Come along human dog.

Arbitro and his dog are gross and nasty and I hate looking at them. But I do like that Arbitro went to the scene of the crime and cares about his poor drug wars. Touches me greatly inside.

Um who are you and why are you talking about colors?

So…why couldn’t narrator dude just leave the suitcase for Shiki to pick up? I guess….we needed to have a Shiki and Akira moment but it seems weird that narrator dude would trust Akira with this important task. Very weird moment if you ask me.

Shiki didn’t look as sexy this week. Probably because he was confused why the COLORS dude was leaving his important suitcase with a scrub. A sexy scrub but a scrub no less. I do love that Shiki pretends to want to kill Akira but won’t. And love that Akira is more confused than ever about what is going on?

Next week Akira shows excellent judgment by going to Arbitro’s house of HOT BOYS GET RAPED. I am sure this will end well.
