Angel Beats Episode 12: FINAL EPISODE

Angel Beats! is over.

Time for tears people!

Did I really just type that? I did and it is really sad. It seems like just like yesterday the series started and everyone was excited. But at the same time I feel as if this show had so much left to show us and it can’t possibly be over. Mixed emotions are mixed!

So here we have it. The end of a series that has sparked fans, haters, and people merely along for the confused ride. On with the show for the last time!

Yuri has lost her mind. What a great way to start this episode.

Episode Summary: Yuri wakes up and sees Hinata, Otonashi, Naoi, and Tenshi. It appears when Yuri met with her dead siblings she had a complete personality change and has turned into super shy cute girl. She acts like a moron as everyone guesses that she has found personal peace. After admitting to that HORRIBLE fact the 5 march to the gym. Otonashi explains very nonchalantly that everyone else, even Takamatsu, has moved on. Oh that’s good. And life moves on apparently. They go to the gym where the 4 (while Yuri was unconscious) set up their graduation ceremony. For the 5 of them. Because everyone else is gone and not in this episode. After Yuri has another personality spaz attack they sing the Battlefront song which Tenshi wrote. It is about her favorite food. Naoi and Hinata almost bond over hating the song. But Yuri loves her song because now they are best friends!! Next Hinata dresses up as an old man and hands out their diplomas (Otonashi gives Hinata his). Otonashi gives a speech about his time in this world and how all of his friends have touched him. He cries a bit. We see brief scenes of an empty school and personal stuff the rest of the SSS guys left behind. They sing another random song and the ceremony is over.

That will do pig. That'll do.

Naoi says goodbye to Otonashi first while crying. Then he poofs into nothing. Yuri then turns to Tenshi and says that she regrets not being friends with her while in this world. Then she poofs. Hinata turns to Otonashi and thanks him for helping all the other members poof home. The boys share a moment and Hinata disappears. Otonashi and Tenshi go outside and suddenly Otonashi has lost his damn mind. He wants to STAY in this world so when new kids come they can help them find their way home. Tenshi is like no you crazy pants. But Otonashi is like OH I LOVE YOU TENSHI. Tenshi reveals the reason she is in this world is because when Otonashi died she got his heart and she regrets never being able to meet him. So this apparently means the next time Otonashi tells her that he loves her she will poof. Otonashi starts crying because he wants to stay in this world but he says he loves you to Tenshi and she disappears. He cries and cries and then the credits roll and you are like OH CRAP did that really just happen?! Then in the real world a Tenshi look alike is humming one of Iwasawa’s songs as an Otonashi look alike walks by. He recognizes the song and runs after her. THE END!

Truly the end people. :(

That’s it people. Game over (except for that missing episode). And…well I feel a bit disappointed and empty inside.

Or the love triangle was Otonashi and Yuri trying to get Tenshi...

The love triangle angle never happened between OtonashixYurixTenshi. The most prevalent love triangle was OtonashixNaoixHinata. And that is like 75 percent truth and 25 percent yaoi fangirl wishing. Yuri never made a pass at Otonashi, she was not vying for his love, and in the end not very important to Otonashi. This makes me feel weird.

What am I seeing people?!

Yes it is weird. Weird how Yuri really didn’t have main character status this entire series. I thought the show was going to revolve around her but truly the central characters were Otonashi and Tenshi with Hinata for support and Yuri almost being the enemy at times. In her final moments she said goodbye to Tenshi while everyone else said goodbye to Otonashi. Who knows how long Yuri has been in this world hating on Tenshi but the few…weeks (being generous here) that Yuri stopped trying to blow Tenshi up apparently meant a lot to her.

Oh. So the writers are coming right out and saying they hate us. Awesome.

OR Yuri had a complete personality change and turned into a crazy person. Seriously. We had 12 episodes of Yuri being a hard ass and she turns into a giggly girl who acts like the world saw her panties? Why can’t she be the hard ass who finally has been able to move on from the awful event in her life? I don’t get the point with completely changing her character. Maybe I could see her being a bit softer but she almost acted embarrassed that she got over the fact that her three siblings died. I just don’t understand.

A beautiful song about...food. Amazing.

Hinata and Naoi were more in character. They bickered a bit and bonded a bit which was nice to see. Both recognized that it was Otonashi that made their leaving possible. Well at least Naoi anyway as Otonashi is the reason Hinata stayed. But I think they were true to themselves and took part in the silly ceremony to make Otonashi happy which makes me happy.

How is anyone's heart beating THEY ARE DEAD?! Also this is creepy.

I don’t know how I feel about Tenshi having Otonashi’s heart. I am not sure if that was totally unnecessary or sweet. Either way it confused me as Tenshi was in the world FIRST and Otonashi was the last person to arrive in crazy land of dead people. In any event it gives Tenshi a reason why to stick around in this world but I find it all too magical that she KNEW it was Otonashi.

Or how about NO?!

The biggest WTF of the whole show, the entire series really, was Otonashi…WANTING TO STAY BEHIND! After all he has been through he, the person who was okay with his life, wants to stay in crazy land. Oh I get the sentiment of wanting to help other people. I’m okay with that. But it came across as creepy asking Tenshi to because she has gone through so much in this world. Why would you want to put her through anymore?

GO WITH HER MORON!

Then when he realizes Tenshi doesn’t want to stay he still does?! WTF! You love this girl, hold hands and move on together. I get that you want to stay and help people because you are a good person. But like Yuri you have done enough. You can’t be responsible for every lost soul. You saved your share. Now is the time for you to move on with your love. You do not CRY as she disappears and you are left behind. WHAT WAS THE POINT??! Don't you want to be with everyone?!

WTF?! This is not a happy ending?!

Then the credit appear but backwards. Instead of Yuri being the first one (or last one in backwards land) it is Otonashi that is left behind and there was screaming at the computer screen. You seriously did not just do that!

This is all I get?! SERIOUSLY?!

But in the last thirty seconds of the episode a new Tenshi (relatively the same age as the last Tenshi) is humming Iwasawa’s song and the new Otonashi remembers it and chases after her. OH OKAY PEOPLE! All is better now because we threw you a tiny bone….I guess I should be happy Otonashi isn’t all alone in that world right?

So…I want to say that I am happy with the ending. But I’m not. We didn’t see everyone all happy in this new life. We never saw how anyone but Otonashi died. We only saw 5 back stories the entire series when the cast was pretty big. Oh and Takamatsu gets to move on too so we get a happy ending. Not that it gets explained or anything, he just gets to leave too despite being a NPC. GOOD TO KNOW PEOPLE.

Um...the group was actually meant to ATTACK Tenshi Yuri. You are forgetting that fact...

So yeah. I am disappointed. I think this episode could have been better. I do love the series as a whole (despite the problems with a HUGE cast, flip flop enemies of the week, and random direction) but this last episode didn’t do the series justice. It felt too empty with just seeing 5 people move on, 2 of which weren’t with the gang from the very beginning. Too much time was spent on the stupid ceremony and not the kids moving on with their lives. They were in that world for a reason and I don’t think they could magically move on so quickly. I wanted to see more tears, more raw emotions, and less stupid songs.

Would I recommend this series to someone? Of course. It was pretty amazing despite this last episode. And I did get my happy ending even if it was BRIEF and didn’t include the entire cast. I am a sucker for a happy ending so it gets my vote automatically. But it is not going on my best anime of all time list. It just can’t with so many unanswered questions. Unless the 14 episode is super amazing or something.

I feel like a bad fan. I really do love Angel Beats! Almost all the characters were likable. But I think with more focus the series would have been stronger and if the ending had more real world moments and not a 30 second teaser it would be happier. But…everyone is happy now so I guess I should be too. I am glad these kids were able to move on from the horrible things in their life. And in the end the show was really about Otonashi saving them rather than the battle or the enemies.

In closing…I was wrong. The kids were dead the entire time. GO ME.

Hakuouki Shinsengumi Kitan episode 11: Droppin like zombies

Oh okay crazy person.

I had planned on finishing up the series all in one swoop. That and it was only two episodes so it wasn’t like I was dramatically behind (like I am with other series). But then I watched the episode and my mind exploded and blogging two episodes at once was no longer possible.

This post contains a lot of WTF, screenies, and confusion. The confusion being I no longer care about who is fighting who. So if you know what is going on…that is amazing. XD But from here on out everyone is a Baddie. XD Enjoy.

As they wait patiently to attack...

Episode Summary: Heisuke goes flying through the air and makes an impressive splat on the ground. Chizuru is busy screaming her head off while Sanosuke and Shinpachi try to hold off the baddies. Suddenly Saito arrives because he is AWESOME and the group manages to escape. After the fact Okita is seen coughing up blood and being sad. Chizuru is seen tending to an injuried Heisuke and we learn that Heisuke took the medicine and has been turned into a zombie. Some people are pissed about this but the alternative might have been death. Then there is some historical crap about the troops and war and junk. Chizuru is at the well because that is what she does people, clean tea cups, and Heisuke comes out to visit her. He apparently is all better and is fine with being a zombie. Until Chizuru cuts herself like 5 seconds later and he goes postal. Sannan comes outside to be an asshole but gives Heisuke medicine to calm his bloodlust. But it shall return so things are not happy. Sannan says a few more asshole things and leaves. Okita is busy hacking away and Kondou visits him and things get slightly friendly. Toshizo also walks by so people know he cares.

KILL SANNAN PLEASE!

Osen and Kimigiku come to headquarters because they still want Chizuru. But now they want the Oni army too. Chizuru starts to waver but Toshizo is like NO my woman and they bounce. But the women warn the Oni Army might become too much for the Shinsengumi to handle. Oh and they also sing the Chizuru and Toshizo kissing in a tree song. On a mission to somewhere important Kondou is shot. Yamazaki appears out of nowhere to extract the bullet but things are still grim. Okita hears that Kondou was injuried and watches the operation. He crawls back to his room and wants to get revenge for Kondou. So he takes the medicine and TADA instant zombie. He runs out because some random person/group are shooting up in the air. Chizuru and Heisuke run after him but Sannan stays behind because he is an asshole (also he is killing innocent people and eating them XO). Okita finds the people who he thinks injuried Kondou and kills them all. Then Kaoru appears out of nowhere. TADA she is a boy and is pissed that he isn’t an important Oni because he has no uterus and his life sucks and he wants Chizuru to suffer. Also Kaoru is the reason Kondou got shot. Okita tries killing him but he has to protect Heisuke and Chizuru who took 4697 years to catch up. Also Okita learns that zombie medicine can’t heal TB. He gets shot twice with silver bullets and doesn’t heal despite being an Oni. Things are serious business and Kondou and Okita are taken to a real doctor. THE END!

Next season everyone will be a zombie woohoo!

Well our Oni Army got a real increase in numbers today. Or rather an increase in important members. Before it was just Sannan and his emo self with some red shirt nobodies. But now we got some fan favorites in this Oni Army and that is a bit much to handle. Let’s start with Heisuke though as his case isn’t as tragic.

I'm totally fine for real guys!

Heisuke nearly died from his encounter with Amagiri. Amagiri gets on my nerves because he acts like he is so noble when he is throwing people around. Sorry you are still a bad guy. But Heisuke nearly dies or would be unable to fight so he decides to become a zombie too. If he took the medicine because he was going to die I support it. But if it’s because he wanted to still kick butt then I roll my eyes. However since Heisuke wasn’t seen having an emo attack(coughSannancough) I would like to think it was a life and death matter. Does Heisuke deserve it? Well I am still mad that he ran off and left the Shinsengumi but I don’t want him to DIE. So it is hard to say.

The white hair creeps me out.

However it was the most dramatic thing in the world that Chizuru got cut five minutes after Heisuke got turned into a zombie. I can handle being a zombie MOG BLOOD. It was magical. But I guess my favorite part was when Sannan and his emo self magically appeared and taunted Heisuke before he took pity on him. Why they thanked him is beyond me. Also there are safe ways of getting blood into our zombie friends. Also feedings can lead to yaoi relationships so I approve. But Heisuke has to prove something I guess and rather go insane than nom some blood.

You have to live!!!

Okita becoming a zombie was sad but expected. The alternative was death so you know. Of course I rather him want to live and not want revenge for his newest best friend but alive is alive right? Only Okita was kinda dumb and took medicine from Kaoru who has proven to be a sneaky person before so you know…I guess Okita was trying to be strong with his death and felt too proud to ask for the medicine. After all he doesn’t want to be like Sannan.

And he's still screwed -__-.

But it turns out that the medicine might not be a cure all. That or Kaoru is a liar which wouldn’t shock me. So now my precious Okita (who at this point is the best love interest Chizuru has) is a zombie who is dying and has been shot by silver bullets. He was a bit special in not telling his comrades that OH HI Chizuru has a crazy demon twin who wants us DEAD but I will chalk that up to Okita being in love and trying to spare Chizuru. Because I make excuses for my favorites.

Saito is never late! XO Always right on time.

Saito is alive all is still well people. I’m not sure why Kaoru thinks Okita is the best swordsmen in the group. Clearly that is Saito and no I am not saying that because Saito is the best person on the show. I am saying that because he is constantly staying behind to be outnumbered and he comes out on top…and doesn’t get injuried. Then he shows up to bail his friends out and he takes those men all on too. So Saito is amazing. Sorry he’s late.

Is this a magical guess or something?!

Kimigiku and Osen showed up because they can. It has been two minutes since someone talked about Chizuru so they had to. I am not sure why they thought it was the best time to come. Maybe they got a look at the new Oni Army and decided they wanted some hotties. Can’t say I blame them. XD But Toshizo has decided to wake up and start paying attention to Chizuru because oh snap other people want her too. I was really eye rolling when Osen was going on and on about Chizuru being in love with Toshizo. We the audience have barely seen anything between the two but Osen is like OH Chizuru loves this dude it is okay to leave her here. Crazy people.

It's so hard being a boy!!!!

Oh and speaking of crazy Kaoru. HOW SAD! I was treated horrible because I was born a boy. Boo hoo everyone feel bad for me. It must suck to live in a society where woman are treated like baby factories and not their own person and be born a man. THE HORROR! And what was Chizuru thinking, trying to forget about the past and move on with her life. XO How dare she spend time with the people who know how to track down her father. Okay that was one was reaching but you get my point. So this is how sympathetic I feel towards Kaoru. So sad for him.

Okay your life sucks too...

I would type more but I busted up my finger AGAIN at work and this time it truly painful to type. Sorry Kondou. You are just not that important. I will try to watch the last episode soon. XO How will things end for our heroes, especially since there is a season two? Will everyone become an Oni? Will Sannan ever die? Will Chizuru stop sucking?! XO Find out soon…or next season folks! K-On!! Season Two Episode 12

Last week I felt a bit bad that I wasn’t WOOHOO I love K-On!! no matter what and that my post was on the negative side. I’m not sure why I felt like that as I was just calling it how I see it. I rather speak the truth about a topic than blindly sing its praises when it doesn’t deserve praise at that time. Besides…when am anything but honest?

I fly through the air with the greatest of ease!!!

This week there shall be no bad feelings or negative post. XD That’s because this week was a pretty awesome episode. I actually wasn’t expecting anything magical as it was another SUMMER CAMP episode. To be honest I was expecting to be bored. But I am here to say that all K-On!! fans should be happy with episode 12.

This week is brought to you by grocery shopping. Grocery shopping. The activity that sucks your wallet dry and you have little to show for it.

None of this fun police crap!

Episode Summary: Sawako warns her students that just because it is summer vacation it doesn’t mean they can go crazy and have tons of fun. So naturally Yui wants to plan another summer training camp. Mio is not really down for this trip as they are seniors and need to study. Azusa and Mio are further X_X when everyone meets at Yui’s house and it turns into video game playing time. While taking a break it becomes clear that some of the girls are more concerned about eating yummy food and going somewhere fun than actually practicing their music. Sawako randomly shows up and says she has six tickets to Summer Festival (an outdoor music festival thingy). Plans are made and soon off our heroes go. Yui surprises everyone by being FIRST at the train station and Sawako suffers from a hangover during the trip over. But they arrive at the Summer Festival area and Sawako recovers. She groups the club together and gets them ready for fun. That means setting up camp, getting their wristbands, and making fun of Mugi for wearing the wrong shoes.

I'm older than Sawako and watching her headbang hurt my head. :(

After the girls make fun of Sawako for having lame ass friends she explains the game plan and the basic layout. Mio is really gunho on seeing as much as possible and plans on running back and forth to the main stages. She also becomes really impressed with left handed guitar players. Yui is a combination of attentive and special. Mugi suffers a blow when her treat (that she has been looking forward to the entire time) is sold out but finds joy in bug spray and tents. Ritsu and Azusa are kinda just there. XD But all the girls enjoy the festival and jam out. After dinner Sawako goes to bed because she is old…or not use to head banging. The girls then lay in the grass listening to all the music. Yui becomes serious for a moment and while she thinks they are better than all the other bands wonders if they will be able to play like this in the future. THE END!

Any place is better than another summer beach trip!

First things first. THANK GOD FOR NO SUMMER CAMP! As much as the girls had fun at the beach in year one and year two with Azusa…what more was to be seen? We saw the fireworks, the beach scene, the slacking off. There was no need to have a part three of the exact same material. It probably would be necessary since they are a music club. But maybe an activity off screen or something. In any event I am happy that there was no beach/camp scene.

So since the girls couldn’t go on another summer beach retreat because I said so they did the next best thing. Concert time! XO This makes sense, to immerse yourself in a weekend full of music and the kind of lifestyle you want to be connected to. A group can’t improve if they only practice the same old songs every week. They need to listen to other groups and learn from them to grow as a band.

Look at the excitement!!!

Mugi!!!! XO Why must you suffer so?! Okay maybe you were a little gooberish by wearing fancy shoes to an outdoor concert area. But I do not think it was fair that your hopes and dreams were smashed upon the ground. From what I gather (since I am not a foodie and especially not a Japanese foodie) the food Mugi wanted was pretty mild and probably boring. I thought it was the food that was plopped in front of you and you cooked it yourself but I guess that is not the case.

The face of disappointment is almost too sad to look at.

How dare Mugi not get her treat! She was probably dreaming of it for days and her hopes were crushed. I really don’t care about Yui’s treat being sold out because Yui will eat anything. But my Mugi is a trooper. She had a moment of sadness and was like okay we can eat something else. Why do the writers enjoy torturing my Mugi?! XO

But poor Sawako. I thought she planned this trip for her girls but it turned out she was dissed by 5 people!!! X_X I can’t even imagine that. I can see one person flaking out but 5? That would make me cry. And the girls weren’t really that sympathetic to her situation. Don’t worry Sawako. I feel bad for you.

Have fun and let loose!

Besides the fact that Sawako has really crummy friends (whom I assume are her old band mates…) it was nice to see her having fun. I do feel bad for her when she has to pretend to be someone she isn’t at school. So when she was jammin away I was happy for her. I also enjoyed her little micromanaging of the event (even if the girls didn’t). Someone has to be in charge and that has to be the person who has been there before.

Fun Mio means no eyeballs but that's okay. I enjoyed her happy.

Mio…had fun this episode. I almost passed out from shock people. Mio is usually the one losing her mind because people are having fun. But this week….Mio was having a blast. And happy Mio is so fun to watch. Mio almost had a setback when she was in the midst of her first crowd. I thought she was going to go and hide in the tent. But she was just momentarily overwhelmed by all the people which is understandable. She recovered fast and was able to enjoy the concert. I loved Mugi having fun.

How can Yui be so deep yet so...special?!

Yui was all over the place with this episode. She was a goober planning a trip based on food. But she surprised everyone by not only being ON TIME but the first one at the train station. She had some moments with her motion sickness+ice cream=instant recovery and bringing up black people’s hair (seriously people, twice in one week X_X weird!!!). But at the end she became super serious without meaning to. I really believe she thinks their band is better than the ones they saw at the concert. But she did so in a way that wasn’t arrogant. And deep down I think Yui knows that these fun times might not be able to last and they must treasure them. It was just nice to see Yui having some awareness of what is going on in the real world and that she isn’t constantly thinking of unicorns.

While they were at a concert I really didn’t focus on the music. It was just hard to hear over the fun I guess. XD Back ground noise I suppose.

In conclusion this episode was pretty awesome. Even if poor Azusa got sun burnt again. The girls had fun antics and it was a learning experience. A trip with a purpose if you would. But Mugi….don’t bring your cute flats again to an outdoor concert. My poor girl.

Uragiri wa Boku no Namae wo Shitteiru Episode 11

Why hello Monday! You aren’t as scary as Sunday which was full of rain and temporarily lose of power. I think I might be addicted to the internet if my biggest concern during a storm is what would I do without the internet. I might have to….entertain myself without technology XO

Oh crap, is Luka watching?!

But the power stayed on so yay for entertainment! Another day has passed that I didn’t have to pry myself away from the internet and another Monday has come bringing us Uragiri wa Boku no Namae o Shitteiru goodness. I’m a bit sad that there are more chapters of the manga out there than I can’t get my hands out but another anime episode is just as good. XD

This week’s post has an injuried main character, Luka wearing clothes, and Yuki having a sparkle moment. Enjoy. XO

Hotsuma is taking the news well...

Episode Summary: Tsukumo hasn’t died REJOICE everyone. But he is still seriously injuried which sucks. Everyone who is important (minus Hotsuma) goes in to stare at unconscious Tsukumo. Dr. Isuzu says that Yuki’s little charm necklace protected Tsukumo from being a splat cake. Toko and Luka leave the room so Yuki can heal Tsukumo and hurt himself. Toko tries to brave but Luka tells her it’s okay to not be brave all the time. Yuki heals Tsukumo all night and eventually he wakes up long enough to say “Reiga is…” and he passes out. How helpful. Everyone goes to thank Yuki but then he passes out too. Awesome. Toko goes to tell Hotsuma about what has happened and Hotsuma is all like Yuki is an idiot! That is Hotsuma’s way of saying I love you. Luka watches Yuki as he sleeps. Yuki wakes up and Luka tries to make him rest more. But Yuki is more concerned about crying over Tsukumo and talking about how this is all real now. After Yuki is done crying Luka and Yuki break Hotsuma out of his prison.

I think I was expecting something a little more magical...

Takashiro had been talking about how messed up this situation is but that he can’t afford to save Shuusei. While saying this all in walks Yuki and his bodyguards saying they are going to rescue Shuusei now. After Yuki gives his little speech Takashiro agrees to do things his way, you know the way that means actually trying to save your friend, and says he will help too. Takashiro gives Luka the tiny piece of random paper that will allow them to get transported to where Ashley is and says he will join them later. Those three poof to a rundown amusement park. Ashley tries to trick the boys into thinking there are real people walking around but they are just crazy demon toys. Luka tells Hotsuma to take Yuki and run since Ashley has no reason to keep Shuusei alive now. While Luka is fighting Takashiro is shown in some impressive room with a floating book. Not much is explained about that.

Translated: I worry about you so please don't heal me.

Reiga and the twins show up but Reiga sends the twins to Ashley. Luka allows the low level monsters to capture him so when they suck his blood they die. This is because Luka is made of awesome and demon kingness. While running Hotsuma and Yuki RANDOMLY find Kanata on the ground. When he wakes up Kanata tries to convince Yuki twice that they need to GTFO Crazy Island and back to the real world. Hotsuma protects them both from a huge monster while Yuki tells Kanata he has to go save his friend. Hotsuma and Yuki run off towards Shuusei while Kanata is visibly butthurt. While running for their lives Hotsuma has to stop because the giant baddie injuried him. Yuki heals Hotsuma and Hotsuma pretends to be really angry about it but deep down he cares about Yuki. Hotsuma also reveals that he has the necklace Yuki gave him and there is an AW moment. Hotsuma and Yuki finally reach the room where Shuusei is kept and THE END!

Must be...dramatic....

XO They are milkin the Rescue Shuusei plot for all its worth aren’t they? At this rate I will be sleeping forever before Shuusei gets his happy reunion with Hotsuma.
But first things first. Tsukumo lives! Everyone rejoice that our snack eating hottie will live to get his ass kicked one more time! Granted Tsukumo didn’t do much this episode but we can forgive him since Reiga decided to take out his anger problems on his FACE. Tsukumo manages to mumble only Reiga and not Reiga is Kanata which is understandable because Yuki needs to be in utter shock when he finds out and not just merely hurt.

I think you have to wear the necklace Hotsuma...

I found the whole the necklace protected me to be a BIT special. Perhaps if the anime did a better job of explaining Yuki’s powers people wouldn’t be rolling their eyes. In the anime it just seems like Yuki randomly made some jewelry and handed them out like party favors. SPOILER ALERT in the manga Yuki can make protective charms THUS he made some for his new friends/family members. So it’s not as random as it appears to be…even though the anime makes it that way. I am not quite sure how Hotsuma can use it to sense Shuusei though.

Also if Reiga is the one who injured Tsukumo how was Yuki able to heal him? That shouldn’t be possible but maybe the manga is leaving out that detail too. I swear I am not trying to spoil the manga on purpose. I knew I shouldn’t have read the manga XD

There was a bit of a Toko and Luka moment in this episode. Again DO NOT WANT! I guess Luka wasn’t thinking rationally since he knew his Yuki was off getting injured on purpose. That would make me sad too and drop my guard around someone who is just as sad as me. But I laugh that Luka thinks he is not one of them. Whether he likes it or not he is. Him trying to comfort Toko is proof of that. Sorry Luka, you are one of them.

Aw Luka was sitting by Yuki’s bedside the entire time. And I like that while Luka was insistent that Yuki rest more he didn’t force him in the end to stay in bed. Him being concerned for Yuki is cute and loving and all that jazz. But he isn’t controlling, just concerned and I like that. I do think we deserved to see a hug or something but I guess we will have to settle for Luka brushing away a few tears. Still…I want a hug scene soon.

When Yuki realized Hotsuma from his imprisonment I was like YAY they are going to rescue Shuusei. Then they went to tell Takashiro and I was like NO you are all stupid!!! But then Takashiro didn’t stop them and all was okay again. They got lucky but all was well. While I think Takashiro was doing the right thing by making everyone stay put I do recognize that the boys wanted to save their friend despite the danger. What’s the point in winning the war if you can’t protect what is important in the process? So next time you want to have an honest attack Yuki don’t. It might end badly. Shame on you Luka.

He couldn't use this last week to save Shuusei because that would make sense.

But putting aside the fact that informing Takashiro was a BAD IDEA I do wonder what he is going to do. I assume since he is the head of the clan he has some sort of powers hidden under his suits. XO And he has a magical book too. I wonder what store was handing out those as prizes. XD But instead of sacrificing Yuki Takashiro maybe should have thought of some other plan if he is packing some heat too. We will have to wait until next week to see what Takashiro can do. I expect great things.

Kanata got left behind XO

Kanata randomly showing up in Ashley’s world….COME ON HOTSUMA. I guess I can give him a pass because his boyfriend is kidnapped and he has never met Kanata and possibly not met Reiga. BUT STILL! He should sense these things. Or at least find it SUPER ODD that Kanata would be sucked into this world when only men in Tokyo have been kidnapped. Like…how did he get there?! Don’t you think it is a little random?!
And Yuki?! This is supposed to be your normal friend who has never experienced weird things. Don’t you think he should be….screaming more? I mean I guess Kanata did a good job with trying to pull Yuki away from the danger. Still I think Yuki should have been a little weirded out that Kanata was asking him to STAY with him instead of saying let’s get the hell out of dodge. But I think I will give Yuki credit for being brave and not hiding in the shadows. Yuki has grown up in the short time he has left Kanata. So if Kanata was a normal person I would feel bad for him.

But he’s not so no worries. If he does have a split personality I will feel bad for the person who genuinely feels connected to Yuki. But then there is the whole Kanata probably knew Yuki before as Reiga so you know. This is all weird and wonderful. Kanata can’t be totally evil as he was trying to protect Yuki from the fight but people might not be so forgiving since he is the leader of the baddies. I wonder how they are going to react once they rescue Kanata and SURPRISE Kanata is not there.

Okay so that was a little badass.

Luka needs to be slightly more bad ass. He let those tiny little monsters suck out his blood. Granted he did it on purpose so they would blow up but still. He needed to blow them up or summon his dragon of doom. Be the man Luka. BE THE MAN!

Putting aside the fact that Kanata was randomly in this world and no one cared and Luka needed to lose his shirt so he could fight better Yuki and Hotsuma have made it to Shuusei. Finally. It’s been like 24 hours since Hotsuma last saw his precious Shuusei! XO How many more episodes until he is finally rescued as this storyline is getting milked pretty dry. But since it is about Hotsuma and Shuusei I will allow it because they are romantic.

XO I have to wait another week to see if Shuusei gets rescued? Bleh. I will be strong until then. Be strong with me readers.
