Uragiri wa Boku no Namae wo Shitte Iru Episode 17

Oh. :(

Behold the most important tree ever.

Not that I should be that dramatic. After last week’s very slow pacing of explaining the past I sorta thought that this week would almost be Part Two of the past and it would go by very slowly. And it did. So since I thought it was going to happen I shouldn’t be too let down that it did. I was prepared for the boring and I got it.

But I am still sad. This post will be short and sad.

Okay he is too cute for words!

Episode Summary: The episode starts off with a younger Reiga (who is a little cutie) looking at a dead Sakura tree. Some asshole boys throw rocks at Reiga and call him names because he is half-Duras. Takashiro scares the boys off with his awesomeness and their friend Yomi heals Reiga’s wounds. They all then look at the dead Sakura tree and talk about how one day it will bloom on its own time. Flash forward and everyone is an adult with a LOT of hair. There are some Duras attacking the capital and Takashiro is taking some dudes to rescue them. Reiga wants to come too but Takashiro wants him to stay in the village to protect the people who still hate him. Really it sounds like an excellent plan. The three friends (Yomi, Takashiro, and Reiga) look at the dead Sakura tree while real time Takashiro explains that those three plus their leader were in charge of saving the world from Duras.

Um that is a lot of blood...

Later that night Yomi decides to voice her concerns that Reiga might become dangerous one day. Takashiro is like no he is my bro and mini freaks out because Reiga was listening in on that conversation. Takashiro runs after Reiga who is staring at the dead tree and comparing it to him, that nothing will ever become of him. But Takashiro points out that the tree is starting to bloom and he believes in him. Takashiro promises to be back in time to see that tree bloom and Reiga is all like mmmm let’s make a yaoi pairing. Only Yomi tries to mess it up by confessing to Takashiro. Thankfully she freaks out and says nothing and off Takashiro goes to save the world. Takashiro is gone longer than expected and when he returns the village is on fire and half the people are dead. He learns from some dying dude that Reiga did it and soon finds Yomi dead. Reiga attacks Takashiro (thus the scar on his face) and leaves without any explanation.

So much hair.....

Back in the present Takashiro tells Yuki that Reiga must have been evil all along and it is his fault this war is going on. Yuki makes it back to the main house where he tells everyone he is going to do what he can for this war. Also he guesses that Takashiro’s secretary and the random girl from last week are his Aunts. They say yes and tell Yuki that his mother really loved him and wanted to rescue him from this life and that is why he was abandoned. Yuki receives a picture of his mother and has a moment. At the Twilight Mansion those Guardians are still having a woe is me party but it is revealed that their connection to Yuki makes them act this way so they are not REALLY emo. The secretary goes to talk to Luka who is still alone in the tree as Yuki looks at his mother’s picture and thinks of Luka. The end!

See people? See what I am talking about?

I also factored in the yaoi factor. Better watch out butler, Takashiro may be taken!

Takashiro, Reiga, and Yomi’s past played out how I imagined it would. Except it looks like Yomi is not Yuki which makes me happy. It would be way too weird for Takashiro to have a past crush on girl Yuki right? So yeah that theory was dumb but everything else was how I expected it to be.

Reiga is part Duras yet he lives with people who hunt Duras. I am not sure how that all went about. I mean….assuming that his Daddy wasn’t raping humans it sounds like not ALL Duras are evil. His Daddy was at least okay enough for one human to agree to the sex. So just up front the fact that this dude was raised to be a Duras hunter even though he was a Duras. That is messed up.

He looks super pleased.

But of course he was raised to be a Duras hunter AND people hated him. Because that is an excellent combination. Hey I hate your people and you but do me a favor and protect the world from harm? Yeah. So I can see why Reiga went crazy later in life and killed a bunch of people. I just am confused why he waited so long for his revenge.

Um go kick their asses now!

And OF COURSE Takashiro was his only friend. Because no one else was understanding and loving like Takashiro. He was more enlightened than all the other people. Don’t know why he didn’t keep people more in line. His little ignore thems were fine but how about you lay down the law on the assholes making your friend’s life miserable? But yeah Sakura blossoms that won’t bloom and Reiga having to hold in his anger. Got it.

Never mind you probably like boys anyway.

I was a little surprised about Yomi. I thought there was going to be more of a romance/love triangle going on. But Yomi never told Takashiro how he felt and to be honest I think Takashiro might have the hots for both of them. But yeah, I was expecting more out of that WE ARE ALL BEST FRIENDS…only not route. Since Yomi was also scared of Reiga that did not happen.

Takashiro has now told Yuki what he thinks is the whole truth. Hopefully Yuki is smart enough to realize that HAHA yeah there must have been a reason why Reiga snapped. He had gone all those years without killing everyone despite them being assholes so why did he go crazy now? I am sure it has SOMETHING to do with Yomi, maybe she rejected him. Whatever the case may be I am sure Reiga is the not the ultimate baddie that he is made out to be. Something happened and he is a product of his situation. I usually don’t like saying that, that people should be responsible for their own actions but in this case they made a monster.

You miss your BFF so you are allowed to say hateful words.

With that said I can see why Takashiro is super pissed off. He said some words out of anger (that he should have never trusted Reiga) but that is understandable as everyone he ever loved was dead. He probably got a lot of flak for being Reiga’s friend and now he is responsible for their deaths (in his mind anyway). So while Takashiro will probably be wrong about Reiga in the end I think he is handling the situation the best he can with the information he has. Also you have to feel bad for a guy who has been around for 1000 years and seen countless people die for a war he feels responsible for.

Well I guess that makes sense....

The whole everyone was sappy over Yuki is getting old. But later it was explained that the Guardians are having a Fruits Basket moment. They see Yuki as their special person so it makes sense they worry and want his love. Otherwise this would be too much too soon.

If Yuki has a Duras father I will laugh at the irony. LAUGH!

Also I really don’t care about the Aunts or the two random new people that will probably be out of the picture soon. Okay they are related to Yuki. Show me the Guardians, the new ones, that will be protecting Yuki. If I were Yuki I would be freaking out over all the people hanging all over me and telling me how important and lovely I am.

Yuki needs a hug but Luka is outside!!!

But I do like that Yuki got closure. I am still not sure WHERE Yuki’s mom is but at least he knows that he was loved. I probably would have tried to live with my child in hiding but maybe she died. Who knows. At least she tried to protect him from his never ending fate. I want to know who his father is but I have a feeling when we find out we might want to poke our eyes out. I just hope he is not related to Luka. Yuki I’m your father!

So that is that. I really think that all these past memories could have been explained in one episode and skipped the fluff. But this series really likes fluff. Overall I am just happy Yomi is not girl Yuki. Also Luka needs to get in there and take care of his Yuki. The previews for next week really don’t tell me much but it looks like Luka is going to kick some butt which makes me happy. Yay for happy!

Uragiri wa Boku no Namae wo Shitte Iru Episode 16

XO I put Uragiri wa Boku no Namae wo Shitte Iru Episode 16 on hold this week to blog Black Rock Shooter OVA. Looking back that was probably a disappointing decision. But when 4 things come out on the same day that I have interest in blogging choices have to be made. Although I probably should be more loyal to shows that I already know and love…

But enough of that for now. We have a week full of revealing secrets!!!! Or at least that is what we were promised. Let’s see if this week’s episode delivers what it promised last week or if things shall be dragged out even longer.

Okay maybe beware of cute flashbacks.

There is no naked Takashiro this week so there shall be no warning.

No. You are not important. GO AWAY!

Short episode summary: Takashiro and Yuki are all like we are going to get down to the truth people! But two random strangers walk in and introduce themselves to Yuki. Minor characters are boring but love Yuki. Takashiro is like I need to tell him the truth now so off they go on a walk. Takashiro then slowly explains that he is weak from preparing for the ceremony when really he is lying to Yuki again. But here comes the truth. Takashiro is like 68974 years old and he is never reincarnated. He has a Duras living in him so he can be healed and not die. His reasoning is that someone needs to be aware of the Duras while everyone is growing up and so he can guide them to being Guardians again. Also he is the one who causes everyone to be reincarnated each and every time. Yuki is like POOR TAKASHIRO he has to suffer alone.

Great now Yuki is lying.

After a bit of a cry Takashiro takes Yuki and child Sodom to some magic rock in the woods. It is the source of their power and has all the names of fallen Zweilts on it. See when Duras kills a Guardian that Guardian can never be reincarnated. Then Takashiro is like oh Reiga is a half Duras/half human and everyone in the family treated him like crap so that is why he hates humans. That every single enemy ever has been summoned by him and he r the evil. However Reiga was reborn as Kanata and was unaware of his horrible past while growing up with Yuki. Yuki might have been the reason that Reiga was dormant for so long, that Yuki was giving him hope for humanity. Yuki thinks back to memories with younger Kanata and is happy that Kanata was really his friend. But he still wants to know what happened that horrible day when Reiga turned on everyone. Elsewhere Kanata promises his one remaining minion he will end this all. THE END!

Also I like the new opening although Yuki better not die....

So….I guess I am slightly happy. We did get SOME answers this week so it was not a total loss. See Black Rock Shooter? Answers can be a good thing. Of course next week looks like we are in for more back story. So this week could have done better in regards to the pacing. Less time with the new characters that I don’t care about and more time with the actual secrets.

XO The biggest RARW of course is that Yuki still has not gotten any of his sad back story yet. Which is what I thought Takashiro was going to tell Yuki. The whole Yuki needs to know about his past can only take place if Yuki is specifically about HIS past. Not the past in general. So bleh. This episode probably could have skimmed down to tell Yuki about his time as a girl. But until I view next week I won’t know if that is possible. Next week could be FULL of more back story that would have run over a 22 minute episode constraint.

I still love you even if you are a giant liar and aren't my brother.

Takashiro is not Yuki’s real brother. Not sure how I feel about that. I sorta figured that and it makes sense that Takashiro had to lie about that aspect. The whole “I am your leader in the war against sparkly demons” probably would have not gone over well. So that lie needed to explained but it wasn’t a shocker since I thought that was the case.

Up next was Takashiro being like a million years old. Again this really isn’t about Yuki but something that needed to be said. It also shows what kind of person Takashiro is. A crazy person. But apparently crazy= devoted in Japanese land so whatever. I guess I can see that if the sparkle demons would going to continuously attack Earth they would need to have someone who was ready to train the reincarnated troops. But him acting like the martyr got on my nerves. Poor Takashiro, he has to live forever and not suffer the effects of dying and having to remember his past.

I hate Duras but here, one is living in my body!!!!

am super glad that the purple worms in his ARM got explained. I didn’t think the answer was going to be that a Duras was living in his body given the fact he became immortal so he could kill the evil Duras. But he is a giant hypocrite. I mean he has to do really hard things….But yeah, glad that was taken care of.

I think calling someone a monster might make them mad. Just saying.

Another fun fact revealed to us is that Reiga is a half human, half Duras person thing. Another thing I didn’t see coming but I guess needed to be explained. He needed a reason to explain his intense hatred of humans so this is the perfect explanation. He obviously forced his parents to have sex so he would be born. Or that the people back in that time were douchebags and created a monster that destroyed them. Note to people out there: when you treat someone like a crazy psychopath they will probably grow up to be a crazy psychopath. So be kind to those who you fear as they will probably rip your face off as soon as possible.

Takashiro has lots of magical powers.

Takashiro also mentions that he forces everyone to be reincarnated. I am not sure how he does that but I am sure that doesn’t matter. I don’t know why Takashiro feels guilty about doing so. Maybe when this first started everyone agreed to be reincarnated in return for Takashiro being the one who has to suffer alone until they are old enough. However I am sure the forced reincarnations has something to do with girl Yuki deciding to be reborn a boy. Trying to stop the cycle or what not.

There is still hope for me Yuki! Don't give up!

But I guess what I liked the most about Takashiro’s whole telling the truth bit is that Kanata was actually Kanata for a while and he wasn’t being a lying douchebag to Yuki since minute one. I really think that Kanata needed a better voice actor as a young teenage boy should not sound like a 3 year old girl but other than that I am happy for Yuki. Of course in his little heart I am sure he will blame himself for not being enough to convince Kanata that humans were worthwhile but hey, that is expected of Yuki. I am just happy that there is good in Kanata and that will probably be his saving grace in the end.

I like this random rock in the middle of nowhere. It amuses me.

I am a little XO that certain people can’t be reincarnated. It just seems obvious in this line of work to be killed by the Duras. But I was wondering why there weren’t more Guardians floating around so that explains that. The cast is already big enough without everyone who ever was a Guardian to be reincarnated. Plus it was a chance to make Yuki all sad.

No one cares who we are. :(

The two random people at the beginning of the episode were boring and I have no idea what is going on with them. We didn’t get to see the new Guardians this episode and we are introduced to more people? Yeah we could have learned more about other important issues and left these nobodies in the dark.

POOF! No more problems. it is so magical.

Our other Guardians were only shown briefly because they are worried for Yuki. But really maybe they should have manned up and told Yuki the truth if they really loved him. And my special Hotsuma is like fine everyone we won’t have any problems and Yuki will be okay. Great plan.

Next week looks like we are in for more secrets and a better explanation on why Takashiro and Reiga hate each other. Looks like it involves a girl. That girl doesn’t look like Yuki as she has darker hair but who knows, maybe it is girl Yuki version one. In any event XO. How dare there be a straight pairing in this show. But I hope this moves along faster so we can get back to the action. And Luka who is stuck in a tree.

Uragiri wa Boku no Namae wo Shitte Iru Episode 15

Today has been a good day despite it being bathe the cats day. XO Blood loss was at a minimum which is a miracle! Now my cats smell like clean fluffy animals and only slightly hate me. Yay for me.

But today is also Uragiri wa Boku no Namae wo Shitteiru day. I am having problems finding translated manga chapters but an anime episode is the next best thing. Sadly there is no action in this episode but next week looks like we are going to get some serious truth. Hopefully Yuki can handle the truth.

Oh and slight Hotsuma bashing scenes.

Beware of drawn out breakfast scenarios and Takashiro being naked. You have been warned.

How much stuff is he packing for this trip?!

Episode Summary: Yuki is getting ready for his journey to the main house. Tachibana, the random girl who works there, and the cook are all worried about keeping this from the other high school kids as they love Yuki and would want to come. Tachibana tries to hurry the kids off to school but they are all like WHERE IS YUKI. When Yuki comes to tell everyone that he is going Tachibana tries to go HAHAHA everyone, Yuki is tried from his injuries so he is staying home to rest. But that just turns into all the kids wanting to stay home. Eventually after a lot of craziness Tachibana is used at and Shuusei asks Yuki what the heck is going on. Yuki tells them where he is going and everyone wants to come too. The high school kids are like find don’t take us with you we will just follow you later. Hotsuma, being the simple one, is tricked into going to school to help Yuki out (to take notes) and the rest of the kids follow. Yuki, Luka, baby dragon Sodom, and Tachibana are picked up by Zweilt Guardian in training Senshirou. Luka seems to know him and Tachibana goes on and on about how special Senshirou is. Yuki is all like YAY a new friend for me to love and make necklaces for. Senshirou doesn’t give much personality wise but according to Tachibana Senshirou is awesome.

I will allow your crush on Yuki but you belong to me.

They stop to pick up Senshirou’s partner Kuroto who just quit being a shoji pro. It is all dramatic as Senshirou fetches Kuroto from the evil old men. Poor Yuki is sad when it is not all rainbow and kisses when Kuroto gets in the car. Kuroto instead tells Yuki how he just gave up his life’s dream for this war and Yuki must prepare too. At the main house Takashiro is taking a spiritual bath when his butler comes in. He dries Takashiro off but Takashiro almost falls down due to come sickness. The butler and him then have a moment about him being sick and them sharing the secret. Takashiro then has an emo attack about keeping things from Yuki and how he is going to tell him the truth blah blah. The school kids are off thinking about Yuki and how this time the war is different because Yuki has a penis. The car gets to the main house and everyone files in except Luka. He is not allowed in as he is demon child. Luka and Yuki have a touchy feely moment where Yuki says he wants to find out more about this war but he is really thinking about finding our more about Luka. Luka has a memory about girl Yuki and generally looks like he is going to throw up. Yuki is taken into the house and meets with a robe wearing Takashiro. THE END!

Oh and Hotsuma is totally reasonable in this episode too.

After last week’s emo fest I thought we were going to get more of back story on what is going on. But no, Takashiro was all like NO I need to have my emo moment don’t leave me behind! Also the writers are really stretching out this season/plot for some reason as not much happens at all.

Almost half the episode was devoted to the high school kids fawning over Yuki. We get it, they love him. But really, half the episode was devoted to the breakfast scene and them talking about skipping school? That was a bit too much for me to handle. Speed things along please.

Because telling the truth is way too simple.

Also I don’t get why it had to be a secret anyway. Tachibana was being way too dramatic in this episode. Him not telling the kids made them want to know even more. Why not just say HEY Yuki is going to the main house, you’re not, eat your corn flakes. Or Froot Loops. Froot Loops are better. But if he had done that then the episode would have only been 12 minutes long.

ME?! Yuki can only count on me?!

But even though it went on for way too long Hotsuma was still pretty entertaining. I keep being told that Hotsuma has a crush on Yuki in the manga and finally the anime shows that side of him. Yes last week Hotsuma had that blushy scene when he denied that he loved Yuki. But now people are using Hotsuma’s crush on Yuki against him. But deep down Hotsuma really loves Shuusei and Shuusei is comfortable enough in their relationship to joke around with Hotsuma. So yes, I enjoyed Hotsuma getting played into going to school because he hearts Yuki.

Everyone really likes wearing jackets all the time.

Newbie number one: Senshirou. Slightly Klutzy. He is looks sorta normal. I am not sure why Tachibana is so WOOHOO Senshirou is so awesome. Maybe because Senshirou isn’t a reincarnated person? Maybe him and his partner are actually new Guardians and people choosing to be a part of this crazy war are truly amazing? I don’t know. But he can drive a car people, he must be amazing. Hopefully there will be more details to come on Senshirou. Not next week as we better learn about this SAD SAD PAST.

Newbie number two: Kuroto. He needs a haircut. How do people see where they are going in real life? This girl at the pizza place was purposely fixing her hair in front of her eyes. Like have fun running into walls. But back to Kuroto. Boy does he know how to make an entrance. He had to quit his shoji proness the day Yuki was coming by. I am sure that Kuroto has known about being a Guardian before Yuki was coming to town. He was probably told beforehand what being a Guardian was all about. So him quitting was just a show to put on before Yuki. Now Yuki is going to be all emo about people giving up their dreams for him and MOG someone is not happy. Senshirou keep this boy in line.

BEHOLD THE TOUCHING!

I think it is cute that Yuki is being brave and wants to find out about his past so he can learn more about Luka. The direct approach probably won’t work with those two as they have trust issues to work out. But Luka seems awfully worried about what Yuki is going to find out. I guess it could boggle the mind (Yuki’s mind) that Luka had the hots for his girl version self. Luka has no problem with what body Yuki is in (and this blogger pretends that Luka enjoys the boy version better) but he is worried about how emotional Yuki will handle the news. So he will wait outside in the trees. Good thing he came on this trip.

Takashiro. I do remember asking for more bath scenes. I just didn’t want…yours. But you and your butler were a surprise pairing. Like OH HI let’s have a naked conversation. Random indeed.

Are you trying to seduce the butler or something?

Takashiro is dying from something. Or super sick. I am sure it will have something to do with Reiga. Him keeping it a secret is probably not the best idea as someone needs to be trained in his place. Or maybe he is hoping the war will be over by then. But yeah, stop keeping secrets.

Well thank God the lies are going to stop soon.

I really hope that we get the truth next week. I am tired of Takashiro being SO DRAMATIC about the lying and drama and what not. We get it. Everyone knows the truth about what happened in their past lives except Yuki and everyone is super guilty about not telling Yuki. But feel free not to tell the boy the truth for 15 episodes. So I am wondering why they are keeping it from him if they really love him. It looks like girl Yuki committed suicide which isn’t….the worse thing ever. Like girl Yuki actually being the enemy or something. In any event I will be happy when the truth is revealed and everyone stop being a drama queen.

And then the episode ends before we get any answers. RARW! But we are one step closer which is always a good thing. Now if you’ll excuse me I need to watch Quarantine for the 867th time. I will see you next week Yuki although I suspect you probably won’t be that happy. But when things get too tough go outside and get yourself a Luka hug.

Uragiri wa Boku no Namae wo Shitte Iru Episode 14: Everyone has an emo attack!

GO CAPTAIN PLANET!

XO Are all my shows going to be subbed late Sunday/early Monday from now on? If so my blogging schedule might change a little. I hate not having a plan; I am a super plan kind of person. I need to know this is going to happen every week and all is well in the world. I probably need to be more spontaneous when it comes to other people’s schedules though.

But this might be a good thing since I really love Uragiri wa Boku no Namae wo Shitteiru. I wouldn’t mind blogging it earlier since it is a must anime on my list. Starting off my weekend right sounds like a positive for me.

Enough about schedules and stuff though. It is time to see everyone be miserable WOOHOO!

Let's not tell Luka about this dream....

Episode Summary: Kanata is off in his evil Kanata land thinking about Yuki and destroying blue roses which makes him an asshole because I would love a blue rose. Yuki is still upset about Kanata and is sleeping. He is dreaming about a wonderful future going to college with Kanata and staying up all night doing each other’s hair. In the living room all the residents of the Twilight Mansion take turns talking about how sorry they feel for Yuki. Also Tsukumo is better ya’ll!!! Luka and baby Sodom dragon are watching Yuki as he cries in his sleep. Baby Sodom gets all sad for Yuki and POOF he morphs into an elementary school kid with a tail and super short shorts. Luka is unfazed by this outright craziness. But little boy Sodom seems to wake up Yuki and all is well. Only it’s not. Yuki pretends to be all better now as he helps around the mansion. Yuki is trying not to worry anyone but haha it has the opposite effect.

While Yuki is on the roof making new sparkle necklaces Hotsuma and Shuusei sit down to have a heart to heart. When asked Shuusei admits to wanting to die. He felt that he was no longer the most important person in Hotsuma’s life. Also he thinks that if he dies Hotsuma will no longer have to think about the scars he inflicted on his beautiful body. After Hotsuma shakes some sense into him he promises to never look away from him again. Also Hotsuma is accused of being in love with Yuki but the boys decide that everyone is in love with Yuki and it’s okay. It is heavily implied that Hotsuma and Shuusei then have sex but that might have happened in my mind. Yuki is finished making his charms of protectedness and Sodom questions him about why he is sad. Yuki is scared that all the time he spent with Kanata was a lie and that depresses him the most. Tsukumo (whom is magically better ya’ll) comes to get Yuki. Toko and her seriously ugly shirt of doom go to talk to Luka. She wants to talk about how Yuki loves Luka so much but Luka is convinced that Yuki hates him since he chose to be reborn as a boy. Which is FINE everyone, Luka is not having an emo attack. He is perfectly fine with Yuki being not in love with him.

Don't hold back on my account!

Luka walks away as Tsukumo (who is totally FINE ya’ll) brings Yuki and 10 year old Sodom to Toko, the owner of the ugliest shirt ever. Toko tries to tell Yuki that he needs to love and trust Luka more. But Yuki has decided he no longer wants to have a contract with Luka so he can set him free! Luka walks up and is like too bad, you are stuck with me forever kid. Before Yuki can have an emo attack everyone in the house comes up to Yuki to tell him that THEY love him. Except Luka who just looks on and smiles. Yuki is happy now so that is all that matters. Elsewhere Takashiro is making plans for Yuki and they sound serious. Later that night Yuki has to bless Luka’s necklace while touching his sexy chest. It was going into I WANT TO KISS YOU LAND but the pair is interrupted. Yuki is asked to do Takashiro’s ceremony thing and Yuki says yes despite it not being super safe. Elsewhere we see the last pair of sexy people talking about Yuki and generally being sexy. THE END!

This will end well....

Dear Lord. That was emo overload people! Everyone was being so sad and mopey. But since there was a lot of boy on boy touching this emoness was okay. Most of it anyway.

I swear I am not a two timer!!!!

Let’s start with the emoness that actually accomplished something and ended with happy faces. Or in the mind of Tenchi to mind-blowing sex. It could have happened people. You just have to believe. And I always believe in the possibility of two hot boys snuggling naked in a bed together. That is my American dream.

Cue the porn music!!!

Shuusei and Hotsuma…ah. So lovely. So full of emo tears and pent up emotions. Most that exploded all over the couch and ended up killing Shuusei’s shirt. But that’s fine. One shirt verses them “making up” is well worth it. I am glad that Hotsuma called Shuusei out on his “I want to die bullcrap”. I would be hurt too, being his partner (lover) and all. If I was the most important thing in Shuusei’s life and suddenly Shuusei wanted to die it would hurt me so much. But of course that is the survivor thinking in terms of suicide so I might be a little harsh on Shuusei. However Hotsuma…I think you are right in this situation. Manhandle him some more.

But then Shuusei wanted to die so Hotsuma didn’t have to see his scars anymore and I was all BAWWWW. Because 1) that is so Shuusei like to think only of Hotsuma and B) that plan was made of fail. You want to die so Hotsuma would not feel guilty about the scars he inflicted on you? Yeah that will work. I am sure Hotsuma won’t feel guilty at all about you being dead. Just POOF he won’t think it is his fault.

SHUUSEI! You do not get to accuse Hotsuma of being in love with Hotsuma and then say oh we all love Yuki in the friendship way. No. You don’t. You need to fight for your man. And Hotsuma, don’t agree with him. Say Yeah Yuki is my…Yuki but you are my everything. But they seem to have reached an understanding that while Yuki is their Yuki they are soul mates and love each other more. Granted that wasn’t said but I felt it. Did you feel it too?

SODOM IS A LITTLE BOY! XO I was told Sodom had another….transformation but I was expecting like a demon horse from hell. Or maybe some vampire bat. But a 10 year old boy wearing hot pants? No, was not expecting that. My mind was slightly blown. I think his happy self was a bit much given the serious nature of the episode but he is cute. But will he be useful in battle?

Yuki was allowed to be emo in this episode. I was actually expecting more tears out of his tiny head but he decided to go the LOOK AT ME everything is fine route. I think I would rather him be emo than pretend helpful. But he was too busy making new magical pendants and dreaming about his perfect life with Kanata. XO More tears next time!

Our surprise emo of the episode was Luka. XO He was probably still bummed about last episode when he was denied touching a distract Yuki last week. He probably had a lot of time to think about his sad situation when he was watching Yuki for two days. But then Toko and her ugly shirt of doom had to remind Luka of some not so happy details. Like how Yuki is a boy now and that totally must mean that he is rejecting Luka and his love. Everyone go AWWW for Luka. Also the only skin he was showing this week was his midriff so everyone go AWWWW for Tenchi.

Does Luka have a right to be worried? I only assumed that Luka had been with girl Yuki once despite how many times these people have been reincarnated. But maybe I was wrong. I don’t think I am but whatever. He was acting way too emo over a love he only had one time but he is a demon and I don’t know much about demon feelings. It is going to turn out that girl Yuki has a good reason for all of this. A reason that doesn’t include making me happy because I enjoy yaoi. No, it will be more like she wanted to protect everyone, end the cycle of being reborn, or maybe she was tired of periods. But for now Toko will make Luka feel like crap and Luka will lurk in the shadows all emo like.

Why was this interrupted???!?!

I guess my favorite part of the episode was Yuki touching on Luka. Which had to be interrupted because someone hates my soul but meh. I think it was necessary touching since Luka was denied last week. I think this ceremony is going to be serious business and he might get his memories back. Which is either going to be a very good thing for Luka or a very bad thing.

Do we have to love Yuki too?

Looks like a lot is going to happen next week. Not so thrilled with how ugly those glasses look but the last pair o’ protectors look cute so woot for more yaoi vibes. Again Toko gets no one. But I am worried how this ceremony goes down. Will we be in store for an emo part two? XO Can my mind handle that much emoness? Let’s find out next week shall we.
