Sword Art Online episode 25: Final Episode

Hello there my lovely readers! The closer it gets to Christmas the more people seem to lose their minds. XD Hopefully the actual day of Christmas everyone can calm down and enjoy the day. But for now it is the season for running people down with carts and screaming that how dare the store be out of cranberry sauce because hello Christmas just sneaks up on people DUH!

I spy a happy ending!

As Christmas is almost here one of my animes is coming to an end. A special end but an end nonetheless. Sword Art Online episode 25. Even thought it stopped being Sword Art Online a long time ago. Spoilers for Kirito making so many decisions, some good and some bad. Enjoy!

Waiting for my Prince this time.

Episode Summary: Kirito is peddling to the hospital, running different scenarios in his head about Asuna waking up. Will she be alive or will she be free from the game only to die in the end? Kirito breaks into the gates of the hospital as they have the worse security ever. He is like Asuna....and is slashed in the arm. Why it is his old friend Sugou's coming to see Asuna too. Only Sugou and his busted up eyes think that he has a chance with getting away with the killer game of doom and molesting Asuna. Kirito gets stabbed a bit and has a Debbie Downer moment but then is like BITCH I am Kirito, savior of all and starts bashing Sugou into the nearest car. Kirito gets the knife and goes to cut Sugou's throat but in the end spares the man. With that underway....continue breaking into the hospital weee. Kirito makes it to Asuna's room where she is sitting up and smiling at him. Kirito tries to explain away his cuts but Asuna can't hear well anyway. Asuna seems to get that it is all over and the two introduce themselves to the other. They share in their first real life kiss and everyone goes AWWW! Fast forward to....sometime later and Kirito is bored in class. It breaks for lunch and Kirito takes off so he can see Asuna in some courtyard. There is a bit of teasing about nicknames and being affection in public but they seem to forget about their self imposed rules. Then the conversation gets weird, to tell the viewers what has passed in the time since Asuna woke up. Sugou tried to pled ignorance but a colleague sold him out. Asuna's father had to retire early due to this hot mess. The Elf Game shut down as MMO's have gotten bad names now and more are threatening to shut down. They also talk about how Akihiko committed suicide but might have saved his soul in internet lands (IE talking to Kirito that day). But everyone at the school is from Sword Art Online and they try to remain close. In fact there is a meet up after school for the “main players”.

A veteran at the age of 16. X____X

While Asuna and Kirito are having their moment they are watched by a jealous Rika and Keiko. Rika made a rule that she couldn't break up Kirito and Asuna...for a month. But now she is mad that she gave them that much time. After school Asuna and Kirito are walking to Egil's bar with a sad Suguha walking behind them. She apparently knows Egil from Elf Ville but seems sad to be going to the bar. They get there and all the other “main” players congratulates Kirito on rescuing them all. It turns into a catch up on other important players and what they are doing now as Suguha pouts in the corner. Kirito then gets together with Thinker, Egil, and Kline as they look at what has become of the Seed (from Akihiko). It turns out it is some sort of program that allows anyone to create their own...world in internet lands. As a result things have gotten safer and MMO's were saved with someone recreating Sword Art Online and Elf City. Everyone is connected now and you can create a character to travel to different places and what not. Apparently this is all good. Suguha logs into Leafa/Elf Fly Land and tries to reach the moon. She is unable to and Kirito catches her. He says they are late for the after party but Suguha insists it is dancy time. So they dance on a cloud for a while until Suguha says that she doesn't feel connected to everyone and maybe she should leave. Well Kirito is like no stay and look. The castle from Sword Art Online appears and he says this time he is going to defeat all 100 levels but he is going to need some help. Suguha agrees and everyone who ever had lines in either game appear and fly towards the castle. Asuna and her new look join Kirito and Suguha. Kirito seems pleased with his new harem and says lets do this. THE END!

Everyone is happy but me!!!! :(

X____X Well then folks. Well then. I guess when something ruins your life and scares you mentally you just....keep on going and doing the same thing. Mental scars? Psht a thing of the past!

After surviving these two crazies people STILL want to play games online?!

What am I talking about? I am saying that is a dog attacked me and bite my face nearly off and chased me around the neighborhood I would not walk to the pet store/pound a month later and adopt 15 dogs. I would be like no...traumatized. More cats. Maybe even jumping anytime my neighbor walks her tiny little purse dog. I would be like um no going to cry in the corner now. Forever maybe even.

Embrace your fears not Asuna!

But in the anime world...one must face their fears. Embrace them. Talk to their fears gently and take them out to dinner before making sweet love to them. Oh we were trapped in a game for 2 years? Asuna was trapped in another game? 300 people were trapped and messed with? Well then folks the best way to get over all this hot mess is to make TONS MORE GAMES! WEEE!

But I am totally getting ahead of myself. We must start at the beginning of the episode. The part where nothing ever goes right for Kirito but it will...eventually. Eventually. So when he is peddling along going to see his Asuna of course Sugou comes out of nowhere and tries to hack his arm off. Duh folks. We need more drama and fighting. Boys will be boys.

A bit more deranged please.

Okay I was a bit surprised to see Sugou. I thought maybe he was going to show up but thought maybe Kirito messed him up so much in the game they were going to find him drooling on the floor of his office/apartment. Like oh no look what video games did to this poor men and his work would be lost forever. Instead Sugou made it to the hospital before Kirito and instead of trying to kidnap Asuna he wanted for Kirito in the parking lot to attack him. Because boys will be boys.

A slash of blood and a limp would have been nice.

Sugou was acting pretty special though. I wish he was missing an arm or something but messed up eyes work too. In his delusional state he really thought he could get away with all that he has done. Maybe he could have too. He should have stabbed Asuna first and then wait for Kirito in the room itself. But King of the world? Yeah he found a way to change memories and emotions in the online game but I wouldn't go so far to call him the King of anything. Especially since Sugou was only operating based on other people's theories and ideas.

Pound his face in!!!!

I really thought that Asuna was going to come and help Kirito out. Not rescue him but do it together. They are better when they operate together. Nothing is wrong with that but I can see how boys might have a problem with that. Kirito had a moment of oh crap I can't do anything. Kirito is still a teenage boy who spent the last two years unconscious. Him getting his butt momentarily kicked made sense but he felt upset. He eventually overpowered Sugou because Sugou is a mentally weak person who relies on other things to decide the outcome of a battle. Go Kirito! See you did do it on your own will and not help from anime magic.

AWWWW!

After sparing Sugou (which was super big of Kirito) it was off to see Asuna. She was looking pretty good for someone who had been unconscious the longest time. Kirito was pretty....awful when he woke up as he should have been. Asuna was just having some hearing problems. She has been through a lot though so maybe I will let that slide. All that matters is Asuna and Kirito are together. Despite Kirito accidentally or purposely making a harem he did save a girl here folks. Let him have his moment.

Because I didn't just see you yesterday?

Well that moment must have happened off stage. As well as most of Asuna's recovery and the kids joining the school and what not. This happens a lot in animes. Like time has passed and we have no other way to relay important information to our audience except by flat out saying it to them in conversations that sound awfully flat. Like hello Asuna you have been awake for a month but I will talk to you like I haven't seen you at all. Surely there must be more interesting ways to get this information across without making them sound so boring yes?

16 and old!!!!

Putting that aside I liked Kirito and Asuna interacting together. A bit awkward, a bit playful, and overall pretty cute. Blushy faces, Asuna making lunch for the two of them, and not really knowing how to act in public with their lives not in danger. It might take a while (or should take a while) but I think those two crazy kids will be okay. Heroes from students though might be a harder transition.

I like that everyone from the original game came together to have a party. I hope they continue to do them in the future. They went through a lot and I think they will need each other's support for years to come. So I hope this isn't like a high school reunion thing. I understand why Kirito brought Suguha along as she helped saved Asuna but she really didn't have much to do with the other guys. So I can see why she was in the corner but leaving her out of the party all together might have been bad too.

It was nice seeing some familiar faces again. Kline, good to see you. I am glad that Rika and Keiko have each other because they are probably not going to get Kirito. XD There were some other familiar faces in the crowd and since none of them had elf ears I was happy to see them. It is called Sword Art Online after all.

Why are there still MMOs?!

And this is where the episode got special. Kirito and all his buddies have decided to hatch the egg that Akihito gave Kirito. Now call me crazy but I might have deleted/thrown away anything that crazy person gave. Probably has something to do with the fact that he was responsible for the deaths of what 4,000 people? Maybe just maybe there?! Have they all forgotten he is the villain here? Who knows what the heck that could have been?! For all we knew it might have been the backdoor for Skynet to take over. Thanks a lot Kirito.

Why is this happening?!?!?

But the truth is just as special. The program world seed thing was basically giving everyone their own server to do whatever they want on. Tenchi World, Nendoroid Land, Disney 2.0. You dream it you can make it. And while it started off small it has grown into something that can connect people all over. You can be Sword Art Onlining it one night and then hop on over to Under The Sea. Servers for all. Who needs to pay for games when you can make your own?

Games should have been outlawed at this point!

And this is what makes me crazy. All of these people were trapped in a game. I am not sure why it took Elf Ville for people to turn away form MMOs. Sword Art Online should have done that. But now that there are two dangerous games under their belt WHY ARE YOU MAKING TONS OF SIMILAR GAMES?! Hasn't there been enough suffering? Why risk doing all of this again? Maybe it was another trick. Aren't you all tired of games? Play a board game. Read a book. GO OUTSIDE! Anything but more games! But no...everyone is on board for more games and are happy about it.

And then nothing goes your way.

Except Suguha. She is not having a good day folks. She is sad that things didn't work out the way she thought they would. Well I don't think she is dumb. She must have known she never had a chance. But still everyone else was happy and she wasn't. So clearly it was time to dance with Kirito and try to fly to the moon. She tried to have a pity me moment but Kirito just smiled at her. That is how things get fixed in Kirito land. Words are overrated.

Um....why did you think this was a good idea? Boys will be boys.

And then for SOME REASON Kirito brings forth the castle o 100 floors because he has to beat it. It wasn't fair that he only got through 75 levels last time. No no he can't move on until he passes all the levels. Can this boy please get some help because clearly he is having a moment. WHY??!?! Why is this happening? Why are other people helping him?! Why aren't people saying um no adding wings does not take back all these bad memories.

X___X Asuna....is not Asuna like. But that is okay, Kirito will love you anyway. And you. And you. And probably you.

And that is how this series ends folks. Not with Asuna and Kirito sharing a kiss but with everyone flying off to the castle o 100 floors. Because....clearly they have learned nothing. Asuna did look nice in her outfit but that is probably besides the point right? Kirito saved thousands of people, perhaps the world, and made it so people can fly forever. And that's what Christmas is all about Charlie Brown. Goodbye Sword Art Online. You might have been a better series had you stuck to Sword Art Online and not Elfs R We.

Sword Art Online episode 24

I think I am going to get my downstairs neighbors cellphones for Christmas. Like this is the year 2012. Why are people honking their horns to get the kids in the car and off to school? Why aren't you calling from the car that you are here? Why are you banging on the door RIGHT NOW at 11pm at night? Call from the car. CALL!!! Stop making so much noise when there are quiet alternatives. What the hell?

Good thing Kirito is magical weee!

Speaking of technology....Sword Art Online episode 24! I guess my problems are minor in the face of danger. Spoilers for Kirito probably being amazing.

Weird little tree yes?

Episode Summary: Yui sets to work using the pass card to break through the wall. She and Kirito are transported to the hallway Asuna was seen running in a few episodes back. Yui senses that Asuna is nearby and with her child self breaks through numerous walls and what not with Kirito following. They make it outside to the path up to the bird cage. Kirito and Yui both take a moment to note there is no place for any race to receive their permanent wings. They decide that is not a pressing issue and make it to the top. Yui flings off the door and runs to Asuna who is like MY BABY!! Kirito walks over a little slower and he and Asuna share in a private moment where Asuna says she never doubted Kirito would come for her. Yui states that they have to log Asuna out at a console and that they better go. Suddenly Yui disappears and the birdcage is no more. Asuna and Kirito are basically in nothingness and find themselves plastered to the ground. Sugou poofs in and says that he thought something was messing with the programing of the game but had no idea it was Kirito. Sugou strings Asuna up and talks to them both about how he is 80 percent of the way to coding emotions and memories and soon he will rule the world. But before he tests it out on them he is going to have some fun. He starts undressing Asuna and molesting her with Kirito struggling to stand. Sugou stabs Kirito to the ground and turns upt the pain factor, saying Kirito will soon start feeling the affects on his real body. Kirito can only watch as Sugou tries to have his way with Asuna. Kirito starts feeling bad for himself, that his pride has caused all of this.

No your face just makes me sick dude.

Suddenly Akihiko starts talking to Kirito, saying that Kirito was able to beat the program before and since this is a stolen game Kirito can do it again. Kirito suddenly is able to stand up which makes Sugou smirk. But then Kirito either logs in or obtains the powers of the player Healthcliff. Sugou doesn't understand what that means at first but Kirito brings Sugou back down to level 1 and a normal player. Sugou panics and tries a variety of things. Kirito gives Sugou a sword and turns the pain up to the highest level. Sugou tries to attack but Kirito is too amazing. Kirito slowly hacks Sugou into nothingness. Asuna is freed and Kirito starts to get upset. Asuna tells him not worry, that he is her hero. They are able to log Asuna out of the game finally and Kirito says he will be at the hospital soon. Yui reappears to Kirito and says she lives in his nerv gear now and not to worry. Kirito tells Yui he and momma will be back soon. Kirito then has an acid trip and sees Akihiko's shadow. Oh okay. He gives Kirito a seed of some sort and hopes Kirito doesn't totally hate this world. He leaves the future to him. Kirito wakes up in the real world to Suguha staring at him. She is like oh everything okay and he is like yep totally easy. They try to talk about what happened with their incest love triangle but Suguha sends him on his way to see Asuna. So off he goes THE END!

A little too much crazy for me.

That was the most anticlimactic battle I have ever seen in my life. Or ending. Battle or ending. None of which happened because there was no battle and there is another episode next week. But still. What the hell folks.

Because looking for walkways is way too much work.

Yui and her love of Asuna powered her up enough to break through walls and such. Even though it was unnecessary as Asuna got that far in the lab by just walking. I guess if we were closer to the week mark I would have understood the running and desperate nature but um....Kirito started playing this game like 24 hours ago. You got like 5 days left. Also if someone was evil enough to lock up Asuna in this virtual prison I think he might have been smart to put in some fail safes. Maybe there should have been more sneaking around and less being flashy. XD

I do like how Kirito stopped and took a moment to feel bad for all the players in the game. Like oh there is no city at the top and everyone was working hard to fly forever and it was never going to happen. Let me not cry some tears for those crazy people. They get what they deserve. There were 10,000 people trapped in a deadly game and these new kids thought it would be cool to play a similar game with similar technology. Yes let me cry more and more tears for them. What were they thinking? I mean working towards a goal to find out that goal was never obtainable is pretty sad but in the grand scheme of things..RUN KIRITO!

I say that but maybe tears have a pain factor too. X___X

I think it would have been nice if Asuna was crying and thought she was losing her mind when really Kirito was standing before her. Like oh look now I am dreaming and Kirito hugged her. But no Yui and her 24 hour daughter status got the hug first. I would have been like um this is my girl I have been working many hours to save her and all you did was make it possible. Shoo shoo.

It's going to be okay. Probably.

But Asuna and Kirito had their little reunion. I like the little head touching thing and not having some sloopy kisses. That is not really how they roll anyway. Asuna believed in Kirito and Kirito believes in the heart of the cards. All they need to do is walk Asuna to a console and log her out.

Good job Yui.

Insert the evil one!!! I am not sure what Kirito was thinking but his grand rescue sent red flags to Sugou. Maybe if someone was powerful enough to study people's souls in a game they could have thought ahead and made sure Yui fairies weren't able to be super powerful. But at least he thought ahead with the gravity spell. More ways to keep players fighting and not noticing that there was no end to the game.

Um no. It is time to fall apart into tiny little pieces.

The entire scene with Asuna getting molested/nearly rapped...just what the hell. It is messed up that Sugou wanted to trap people in a game to study how to control people. But now he is raping one of the people he trapped in the game. Is he kicking puppies and knocking little old ladies into traffic in his spare time? He is way over the top evil in a comical way. Like sorry there is no way I can take you and your creepy smile serious. But please stop touching Asuna, hasn't she been through enough?!?!?

Yeah. This is YOUR punishment. HMMMM.

Kirito having his woe is him moment....I just don't understand. Asuna being tortured in awful but why are you acting like it is your fault? It wasn't like you caused all of this. If Yui didn't sneak you in...yeah you wouldn't be there right now. So maybe you did think you were hot stuff then but it wasn't like you could have taken a gang of people with you. Only Yui got you in with your super speed stats. So it not like tons of people offered to help you and you turned them down. He had to save Asuna and I don't think Kirito was acting above the game. Just very focused...despite the fact it is just code and what not and there is only so much a person can do.

How was Akihiko still around? Random code?

But then the episode got way too special for me. WAY TOO SPECIAL! Remember Akihiko, the man behind the game and Sugou superior? The one who KILLED or caused the deaths of thousands of people? His memory came and helped Kirito out for some reason. I have no idea why since it turns out he wasn't the real person, just a figment left over. Because Kirito was able to beat him he has high regards for him? I have no idea how this happened or why but it did.

You should have started from scratch dude.

I do think it is funny that Sugou got beat because he stole the game from Akihiko. I guess it is hard to be better than someone if you stole from them in the first place. I mean...it makes sense that Kirito was able to use the Healthcliff program, just not how he found out. Sugou ended up being a loser too. He focused too much on being the GM of the game instead of like Akihiko who trained to make his stats good. Sugou was not prepared to fight and even with the best weapon in the game was taken out with a few blows. So very anticlimactic, the villain was a weak bully who had no power of his own.

Nothing says happy reunion like a present. YAY PRESENTS!

Back to happy times! Asuna and Kirito reunion part 2! I would have been more upset about the near rape but maybe Asuna needs time to process the craziness that is her life. Stuck in a game, kidnapped by a crazy person, threatened into marriage by said crazy person, and now a near rape with tentacles and a “real” person. I love how Asuna told Kirito he was her hero and he said that he wasn't really one but would try to be. Like Kirito is so tired he has no more left to give. He just needs a rest. But it must be nice to hear that your girlfriend thinks you're a hero.

Um come see me NOW please. Thanks.

But get to seeing Asuna faster. I know that you messed up Sugou pretty good and he might be dead in real life but you don't know that for sure. He might have other fail safes in place. No one will take Asuna seriously the minute she wakes up so you need to be there for her. So tell Yui you will see her later, who cares about this new game, and tell Akihiko to eff off. No dude you don't get to leave on a positive note. You don't get anything. And don't give Kirito a new world and hope he does the right thing. The right thing? He was just trapped in a video game and you want him to become the GM of another? I THINK NOT!

Asuna got a bit more WOOHOO with her reunion. Gosh Kirito.

Kirito wakes up from the game without much fanfare. I guess he wasn't in danger so it wasn't as dramatic as last time. Suguha was a bit close but not on top of him trying to get pregnant so I guess that is something. Kirito wasn't panting or crying like he should have been. Like I am going to casually take off my helmet even though I could have been terribly hurt or killed due to a virtual reality game again. Like everything is fine. And Suguha asks a few questions like oh how did things go? Like he just got back from the grocery store. They look at each other and....

Okay maybe this was Suguha saying goodbye...

And then that is it! Kirito rides his little bike to the hospital to go see Asuna and Suguha smiles away. I mean 5 seconds ago I did say that Kirito needed to get there and stop wasting time but it just felt...odd. The finding out who Kirito was and the fight in the area and the raid all happened like an hour ago. A lot was left unsaid between these two and Suguha seems to have moved on. With one episode left I guess there is a bit of time for her to look sad and then seek out Recon for support but...yeah...

THROW IT AWAY!

So one more episode left. Kirito better take that seed and throw it on the ground! Like what the heck? Is he going to feel bad that everyone didn't get their wish to fly and he is going to make that dream come true? No. Just no. But I guess Yui needs to go somewhere. I will scream though if Asuna just logs back in like she hasn't spent forever trapped in two games. Good grief.

Sword Art Online episode 23

Having a harem is hard work.

Up now is an anime that is slowly drawing to an end, Sword Art Online. Spoilers for episode 23 which include...not very much.

Asuna would like to leave pixel land now please.

Episode Summary: Suguha says her peace to Kirito and slams the door. She resumes crying on the bed as Kirito thinks all is his fault. He thinks back to when he found out he wasn't really a member of the family by 100 percent blood. When he found this all out it makes him feel weird and questions his place in the family and how he should treat Suguha. He threw himself into online gaming and neglected the family. He tells Suguha to meet him in the game and he walks away. Suguha realizes that she has been cruel to Kirito and that maybe other things matter in life. She logs into the game and immediately runs into Recon. He rescued himself since everyone else was sucking too hard to rescue him. Leafa starts talking about how she is never going to see Kirito again while Recon is jealous and points out that is not like Leafa at the same time. Recon confesses his feelings and Leafa turns him down in no time flat. But he does give her the courage to brave so off she goes to find Kirito. Before he can apologize Leafa decides they need to hash this out in a duel. So off they go. But 5 seconds into the duel they both give up and hug each other. They apologize for their messed up feelings. Leafa still might love Kirito but she wants to help him help Asuna. And Kirito can't answer about his feelings until he rescues Asuna but still finds Leafa important. They hug it out and make it back to Recon who still wants Suguha. The 3 of them decide to go into the tower to have another go at failure. Only this time Recon and Leafa will focus on healing Kirito as he speeds towards the top. Onward they go to failure. At first Kirito does pretty good. But soon the monsters multiple and he has a harder time keeping up. Recon decides he is going to fight too and before he dies he activates an ultimate spell. It takes out tons of monsters and himself at the same time. Leafa is all NOOOO but continues to heal Kirito. He nearly reaches the top but it is blocked by all the monsters. Kirito is almost defeated but then Alicia and Leafa's leader show up with their promised troops. DUH! They blast away and Kirito manages to reach it to the top before it closes. Having met their goal everyone leaves, wishing Kirito good luck. Kirito and Yui soon realize that the area he is in was never met to be reached by players. Kirito is surrounded by monsters again when he remembers the access card Asuna threw down to him. Yui does something to the card and Kirito is able to leave this void area. THE END!

Look you should have been crying for being in love with someone you are related to, not because they won't love you back.

Perhaps I should be an anime character. What do you guys think? I have been known to have some pretty epic meltdowns that have lasted in weeks/months of not talking to certain people. But if I was an anime character I could get over all my problems within minutes! Less anger probably means less wrinkles and less stress in my life. Well unless I am one of those anime characters who holds onto grudges for years and then tries to take over the world. HMMM maybe not folks.

Because when people are nice to me I automatically fall in love with them.

I love how Suguha saying that Kirito being a nice person to her recently is what caused this. Homegirl is certainly rewriting history is she not? Because her momma told her about Kirito being the cousin while he was in the coma. That is when she decided that she could/would fall in love with him. Not the two months where Kirito has been awake. She joined this game so she could better understand him. Kirito is the one suffering all the crazy from this situation.

The horrible truth that my aunt raised me as her own THE HORROR!

I really don't think that Kirito was that mean before going into Sword Art Online. Distant maybe but probably not mean. He was slightly overdramatic though with his attempt to be a Disney Princess. Where is my place, when will my reflection show who I am inside indeed. I am not adopted myself so I can't speak from first hand experience on how people who are adopted react. Yes after the initial shock and the MOG you lied to me/you aren't my real family Kirito should have calmed down yes? 4 years later he was still being all upset and shying away from his family? He acted like he had no idea who Suguha was as a person as well as related to him. Well maybe he could have tried harder. They weren't siblings but grew up together. Just too much overdramaticness for me.

What? Isn't this how people normally get over having crushes on their not brothers? Gosh.

But as overdramatic as they both were acting.....they certainly got over it rather fast. They had a few minutes in the house to cry and then they met up to have a duel? I thought this is how bros got over being upset with each other. Felt really odd. Almost like they were fighting over a girl but really they were fighting over...well Kirito. Only Kirito was fighting for Asuna as she is still passed out. Then they both gave up on the duel because they love each other so much? I know you are trying to be all incesty Suguha bu maybe you should have tried more. I know you gave up on your brother/cousin 5 seconds before everything hit the fan but come on. I thought there was going to be a longer duel and more tears. And I thought things were going to be wrapped up tighter.

But NOOOOO Kirito can't say NOOOOO to anyone. He can't tell Suguha how he feels until he wakes Asuna up? Um what is that all about? Didn't Asuna and Kirito promise to be together after the game? Kirito is saving Asuna because it is the right thing to do AND he loves her. So tell Suguha now there is no chance they are getting together. Stop leading people on creeper.

Suguha might be able to move on because Recon is so loyal to her. True only two days have passed since Kirito starting playing the game but Leafa dumped him like a....well things you dump. I don't know. Like see ya, there is a new guy in town. And no one went to rescue Recon. NO ONE! Leafa went off with Kirito and everyone else went to get supplies for this raid. HELLO! Recon was in the sewer all poisoned and junk. I mean...maybe this was a minor thing but Recon should have taken his 5 seconds to get all upset. Suguha treated him like crap.

But Recon got over it. Very fast. He did have a moment of jealously but he was like I am in for this fail plan. He had no idea what was going on but would do anything for Leafa who would do anything for Kirito. I am not sure how the game system is usually set up but I thought it was kinda obvious that Leafa and Recon would be targeted. Different rules apply to final bosses yes? Just because they are hiding in the corner and healing people doesn't mean they aren't fair game.

Wait OTHER people were coming? Maybe I shouldn't be going all out...

So...speaking of overdramatic things...why did Kirito and gang fly into certain death instead of waiting for the entire two races on their side to show up? Was there a purpose to that? I know that time is very important but Asuna had a week before she was married to that creep. At the most three days have passed, including the one they are currently in. That means there should be a safe 3 days to save Asuna and make sure she can articulate what she doesn't want to marry the scum of the Earth. So rushing in and letting Recon splat in the most magnificent way possible. There was no reason for things to be so dramatic. No reason at all.

Surely this plan will work out!

But if they weren't dramatic we wouldn't see Kirito's little MOG face or Leafa crying over the idea of dying safely in a game. SO MUCH SADNESS! It will be okay guys, I promise. Well except for Asuna and the apparent tentacle rape that is facing her.

Just aim at the wall. Or anywhere really.

Tons of people ended up coming and saving the day. Well sorta. I think that Kirito was doing a pretty good job on his own. And the people who came to help...well with that kinda cash I would expected more firepower. Way more KA-BOOMS! The entire place was full of monsters. Why bother aiming, just attack folks!

That would be Kirito being amazing apparently.

In the end Kirito is the only one to make it to the next stage of the tower. Everyone else was left going YAY he did it. I guess they forgot about the business of whoever make it there first gets the right to fly forever (for their whole race). Maybe everyone forgot about that little fact. Leafa knows what is going on but no one else. Everyone is just...making one person happy and forgetting about all the time they dedicated to this game. Everyone is lovely horray!

The episode ends with Kirito realizing the game was never meant to be cleared. Well Yui realized that but never fear. Asuna threw down that access key. Good thing she didn't throw down a piece of clothing or something. XD I do feel sorta bad for the players though. Maybe it is a good thing they always failed at passing the tower. Wouldn't want to spend all that money on something that is doomed to failure. Wonder why more people didn't quit the game since the ultimate prize was never going to happen. Not that it matters. Kirito will rescue Asuna and make it so that everyone can fly forever. Probably through Asuna who appears not to have a race. WOOHOO for fun.
