Red Data Girl episode 6: This anime is pointless

YAWN! How can someone get so much sleep and still be so sleepy? Maybe I am turning into a cat? I am sure Kira would love it. A playmate for her. Maybe that is why she has been glued to my side recently...she has sensed my transformation has begun. YAWN! Time for another nap?

There is no understanding ever. Lies.
This show...Red Data Girl...is halfway done and nothing has been explained. Well not enough for anything to make sense. More like the main character doesn't care to know or everyone understands what is going on and can't be bothered to tell anyone. Talking above me if you would. But here is episode 6 anyway. Spoilers for blah and blah.
 photo reddatagirlepisode66_zpsbc266bd8.jpg
Someone has a big mouth....
Episode Summary: Mayura, Manatsu, Izumiko, and Miyuki are running to catch the bullet train to Nagano. That is where the twins grew up after their triplet died. The train ride seems fun, with Mayura asking Izumiko if she is dating Miyuki and student council plans are discussed since they are all members now. A meeting will be held in the mountains soon due to their connections. They arrive at the station and wait for normal mom who has put the triplet Masumi out of her mind. The girls are nearly hit on but the boys step up and make sure they are left alone. They are taken to a lovely house that Izumiko loves. There is a party thrown for the twins and their old neighbors/relatives talk them up. The father takes a shine to Miyuki who knows/has connections to mountain monks. Izumiko is left in the corner to say how nice and normal everything is after she gets drunk on punch. Miyuki really loses his mind when she gets drunk as she starts to talk about the goddess. She is sent to bed but wakes up later still a bit tipsy. She “floats” around the house until she sees Masumi in the back yard. She says hi to him and he basically hits on her and says he will see her later on the mountain. The gang meets up with the rest of the student council whatever and they up to the mountain via bus. Everything seems on the up and up until some of the girls unpack. Mayura is then confronted by an older girl about trying to take over the student council club. Mayura tries to play dumb but apparently the History Club is really her fan club. Kisaragi is slightly less harsh but tells Mayura that they are judges and will not pick sides. Izumiko says nothing during this time nor during the meeting later. Mayura takes her on a walk and explains that she and Takayanagi are more likely than not the real candidates for the World Heritage thing, thus the sides. The council made her feel better about being neutral but Mayura feels as if she needs more. Izumiko is like lala you hate sorcerers yes? Manatsu appears with Miyuki and it is revealed that Mayura wants Izumiko on her side as a spirit seer and needs to test Miyuki despite him protesting he wants to be a normal kid. Mayura summons up her power and then...THE END!

You have to be drunk to understand this show. WEEEE!
I don't even know folks. I don't even know when the explanation will come. I don't know when I will stop watching this show. I don't know why any of this is happening and everyone seems okay with it.
 photo reddatagirlepisode64_zps7a49571d.jpg
Don't mind me, I'm not important.
It's like we are following along through the eyes of Izumiko, the girl beyond caring about anything. Or knowing about anything. Which I would be fine with but then Izumiko seems to know things. It needs to be one thing or another. In episode 1 she was presented as a girl who was confused about why she blows up computers and cellphones. But then she nods her head and doesn't ask questions, like she does understand. So what the heck is going on? Is she nodding because she doesn't understand and doesn't want to look dumb or because she does understand? Because either way...I DON'T UNDERSTAND! Usually animes have someone who doesn't understand what is going on and things have to be explained to them, to the audience. I just assumed since this is Izumiko's story we would see her confusion and things would be explained to her. OBVIOUSLY NOT!
 photo reddatagirlepisode63_zpsaab5090c.jpg
Be on my team bestie friend!
This anime is just frustrating. Yukimasa tells Izumiko what this school is about, housing and protecting those who can see spirits yet Izumiko does nothing with this information? Miyuki is told that the goddess in Izumiko can't be reborn or the world is in danger and he does nothing? Like hello?! You are in an anime! Rise to the occasion and save the world! Or at least find out more about the school you are at. Like are they purposely not listening when things are being discussed? How can Izumiko be so close to her mom and not try to contact her? I don't understand anything apparently. Anything at all.
 photo reddatagirlepisode68_zps91e785e4.jpg
She was like GIRL I am on to you!
If the student council is supposed to be a neutral place why was Mayura and Manatsu allowed to join anyway? If you think there are two factions to this school why allow one whole faction to join if you are the judges? And hello aren't all these kids in 9th grade? This entire school was built so these kids could fight it out to become the World Heritage Candidate? Like only one person gets to tell the spirits that humans should be allowed to live? Maybe the teachers should tell the students what is really up. Or maybe this is what is up. The point is...this entire school was built for two students to hash it out? I SEE! What the HELL?!
 photo reddatagirlepisode62_zpsd98144e3.jpg
All is going according to plan....
Either way I guess the Earth is screwed. Because neither kid looks that powerful to me. Of course at the end of the episode Mayura looks like she stepped up her game. But Takayanagi? How is that kid powerful at all? A ghost was able to beat him. Obviously the thing inside of Izumiko is going to be the best candidate or whatever which is disappointing. Thought there was going to be more important and spiritual kids at this school. But I guess it doesn't matter since we won't get any explanation on what they are. Just a bunch of judges I guess.
 photo reddatagirlepisode6_zpsd685fe98.jpg
Hurry to fun!
I guess the fun part of the episode was when the siblings, Izumiko, and Miyuki were traveling to the siblings' home town. I guess I just like seeing travel in Japan. Brings back memories....in the corner of my mind. XD But yeah going on trips is fun. Maybe not so much fun when you realize your friends really tricked you into meeting their special dad to size up if you have magical powers worth worrying about. Here have some drunky punch.
 photo reddatagirlepisode69_zps26fe046d.jpg
How about you let me in on this secrets?
Izumiko is kind of all over the place. Doesn't ask questions, is jealous that Miyuki isn't her boyfriend but barely talks to him, and talks to dead people. But it's all good. Because she doesn't tell her one friend about meeting with one of the “judges” to something she doesn't understand. Also she doesn't listen to Miyuki and goes off with Mayura without knowing her true motive. Not that she defended the girl when the older student council girls were going after her. Miyuki also has a part to play too, by not watching over Izumiko. Just so impressed with this anime.
 photo reddatagirlepisode610_zpsb6f7e899.jpg
Um...I said I didn't care about this crap?
The episode ends with Mayura explaining nothing but using many words to do so. Like you better be on my side or else. When Miyuki says he doesn't want to be on any side Mayura decides that she is going to attack. Like what the hell. Do you see my face? It is the face of someone who has watched 6 episodes and maybe 10 percent of what is going on has been explained in words. Everything else I guess is just understood by the Japanese. The things we do not speak of, we don't need things explained. Well I do. And everything sucks so far. Bleh.

Red Data Girl episode 5: Where nothing will be explained ever

Hello there my lovely readers. I hate road construction. I am sure everyone does. It just gives me rage every time I drive by the same piece of road that has been under construction for MONTHS and no progress has been made. That 6 people are standing around watching one guy with a shovel. And it is especially frustrating when this piece of land could be closed down as there are NO houses on it. Traffic could be redirected so easily and maybe be an inconvenience of 4 minutes to people but the road work could get done in WEEKS! Weeks! Instead of now going on a year and nothing is getting done. I don't know, I guess I could go all around it to avoid it too but I guess it is the principal of it. Like you can't shut this down, I will drive through it and glare at you. Yeah...go me.
 photo reddatagirlepisode514_zpsf8690fb7.jpg
I have the need to sing Mulan.
Clearly I have problems. Let's talk about an anime that has problems. Red Data Girl episode 5. Why does this show get a pre-air? No idea. Spoilers for OH I SEE!!
 photo reddatagirlepisode56_zps32a9e296.jpg
Miyuki likes to go back and forth with his anger and smiles.
Episode Summary: Manatsu introduces Izumiko and Miyuki to their triplet Masumi. Apparently he is Manatsu identical twin but he Masumi is supporting a skirt and long hair. He is happy that Izumiko can see him but it is unclear if Miyuki knows what is going on. Takayanagi and his regenerated spirit Brazilian show up and act all cocky about Miyuki being a loser. Manatsu says that this battle is his and when you mess with one sibling you mess with them all. Mayura is shown in her bed still upset from everything. Takayanagi explains he didn't use a curse on Mayura, just her intentions were bounced back to her. And since she hated him so she got that hurt. Manatsu steps up and Takayanagi assumes he is going to use a spirit agent without the proper bindings. Takayanagi assumes he will have the upper hand and sends the Brazilian to attack. It is brief but Manatsu breaks through rather fast and hits the Brazilian in the face. This apparently releases him from the bindings and he floats around without a body. Takayanagi freaks the hell out, saying this is so dangerous. Manatsu then sucks up the spirit like it is child's play. That is when Takayanagi realizes this person is not human. It really has been Masumi the entire time facing off against him. Masumi lets it be known he will not stand for his siblings being messed with. Then there is a touching scene with Masumi visiting with Mayura. Izumiko watches this touching scene and later talks to Miyuki that she is happy she came here. She used to feel like a freak but now realizes there are way more freaky...I mean awesome people than her. Miyuki smiles and is glad she is making new friends. However to keep those friends she better not tell them who she really is. The siblings think Miyuki is the one with powers and Izumiko is the friend. And since Miyuki sucks they are not a threat. They start to walk back to the dorms and talking about the politics of this school when TADA Daddy Yukimasa arrives. He says he will be a part time teacher because he can protect Izumiko and Miyuki sucks. Miyuki walks off all mad and Izumiko is sad. At school Yukimasa is treated like a rock star and Izumiko feels out of place. She tries to talk to Miyuki about what she should do if people ask if Yukimasa is Izumiko's dad. Miyuki has decided that he no longer wants to be around Izumiko since she is associated with Yukimasa. He runs off to talk to someone on the student council, Kisaragi. Izumiko decides she has not lost anything as she dries tears from her eyes. She leaves a message with Yukimasa so they can talk as talking directly is frowned upon in this anime.
 photo reddatagirlepisode511_zpse156d828.jpg
Time for girl tears!
She and Yukimasa meet at a popular temple where Izumiko can ask other questions and not the ones she had. Basically Yukimasa says that this school is to protect those who can communicate with spirits. Yukimasa and people like him think that if those who can communicate with the spirit world go extinct the earth will then turn against humanity and POOF they go. Izumiko is like...okay but why does your son hate you? Yukimasa doesn't seem to know why his son would hate him but that he needs to man up and do his job right. Yukimasa is then kidnapped by young girls who want to take his picture. Izumiko goes back to school feeling depressed. It doesn't really help when she sees Miyuki and Mayura talking about student council stuff. She loses her damn mind and runs off all upset. She runs to a tea house looking place and decides to dance to take her mind off things. She is spotted by “Jean” who might be Kisaragi in drag. I think so anyway. He/She (because I don't know, nothing to do with gender identity) says they are the student council president and wants to show Izumiko something. Miyuki is in the student council room and is told by another member that the president really is not president. That a person named Hodaka is really calling the shots. And that is the person that Izumiko has been taken to see. He wants Izumiko to dance for him. Izumiko says no so Hodaka puts make-up on her and talks about how make-up is like magic. After being all dolled up Hodaka asks her again to dance. Izumiko says no and Miyuki runs in to save her, saying that Hodaka knows who she is. Izumiko is like um why you caring about me you said not to talk to you. Miyuki and Izumiko start to get into it when the goddess takes over Izumiko. The goddess seems to know Hodaka and acknowledges him. She then turns to Miyuki and says that Izumiko cannot become her or all of humanity is doomed. Izumiko wakes up with Hodaka and Miyuki reaching some sort of agreement. Miyuki and Izumiko walk back to the dorms, where Miyuki says he will try to protect Izumiko even though he knows he is weak. Izumiko says it is fine since she needs to learn to take care of herself. But Miyuki gets all blushy face so who knows what is going on. THE END!
 photo reddatagirlepisode513_zps14e75b30.jpg
Me either. Glad we are on the same page.
Like really show. REALLY. I complain about other shows throwing out terms that make no sense and leave me feeling confused. With this show NOTHING is explained. No terms seem to be used. So with this show I am in the dark whereas I am just overwhelmed with other shows.
 photo reddatagirlepisode515_zps6235609c.jpg
Miyuki has no problem being wordy. XD
Also I wrote so much! I had to go back and blog the summary while watching the episode again due to all the names as I was getting slightly confused. When I blog like that things tend to get really wordy. But I am wordy in general. But yeah got confused. Especially when people are sounding a little feminine and wearing skirts but maybe identifying as boys. And I don't want to misgender people so I get paranoid and what not.
 photo reddatagirlepisode5_zps17a1f6a6.jpg
They don't have scissors in the spirit world.
But it was slightly confusing when Masumi started off looking one way but when Takayanagi showed up Masumi was looking like Manatsu. Like thanks for trying to confuse me. Of course no one really mentioned the fact that Masumi was dead. Because this is the show that doesn't say what is going on. You are just supposed to know the triplets are so magical and spiritual that they can still use their powers in death. Because that is how cool they are. But don't mention the fact that Masumi is dead. You just know.
 photo reddatagirlepisode53_zps177ecfb9.jpg
....This would make my face blow up a million times. XD I am in danger.
Takayanagi went from the most confident person to crying on the ground. I sorta did by his excuse though with the computer blowing up. He really didn't curse anyone but did a bouncing off kind of magic. Like oh if you are pure of heart this website will just be some lame way to get student council votes. If you hate me this will blow up in your face. Like a booby trap you should have known about.
 photo reddatagirlepisode54_zps481a7c73.jpg
He was big and bad for 5 seconds. Good job being a baddie.
But really his fall from grace was pretty hilarious. I thought the entire episode was going to be all three siblings going up against Takayanagi and Miyuki trying to help and Izumiko finally realizing how serious things are. I really did think that. But Takayanagi did one move with his Brazilian ghost thing and that was it. Masumi hit the ghost thing and that was it. Like with his hand. Poof. Then Takayanagi cried and Masumi slapped him around. It was very, very simple. And nothing got explained. A ghost got rid of a spirit and that is all that matters I suppose.
 photo reddatagirlepisode57_zps4915b441.jpg
Since we look weak we can be friends with them!
Izumiko decided this was all touching and that she needed to talk to Miyuki about it. I thought the conversation was going well. Miyuki acknowledging how in over his head he is, that Izumiko needs to keep it on the down low who she really is (even though Takayanagi knows...), and that they are in this together. Because Izumiko didn't have any friends back at home. Time to sparkle with Miyuki and learn about who she is without telling the audience about it.
 photo reddatagirlepisode58_zps7f3fcf24.jpg
Izumiko is like what the hell is wrong with your screenie Tenchi?
That all lasted about 5 seconds. When Izumiko and Miyuki were walking back to class and talking about how the student council is in an uproar over Takayanagi bowing out...Daddy dearest shows up. What the hell is up with Yukimasa? I mean I don't understand him at all. Clearly this kid hates you because you ran off to take care of Izumiko. Then with no training (well real life experience) he was supposed to protect the goddess Izumiko. Then POOF you suck and I am here to be the real protector. Like what the hell. Miyuki was never going to be a good protector with this background! Throw him in a school with people more powerful than him and he was going to do bad. Dad of the year this man.
 photo reddatagirlepisode510_zps2dad7d9d.jpg
And it all makes sense!!!!
At least Yukimasa explained a bit about what is going on. That this school was to protect those who can see spirits because...the world is in danger. Now that he backed this up with any facts or anything. Just that the earth will sense we are not in tune with the spirit world and will send giant trees to kill us. Something like that. Now I would argue that maybe having more adults at this school to make sure these special kids don't kill each other is in order but that would make sense. Also Izumiko might need the most protection and education so lets stop the math classes and get on with the power learning.
 photo reddatagirlepisode59_zps1f89fc2f.jpg
So eff you!
Miyuki really hates his dad. I get that. But him taking it out on Izumiko is getting a little old. She really can't help that she has a goddess in her and that his father protected her. I get that he wants to take it out on her but eventually he should realize that it is not her fault. None of this is her doing and he should either leave her alone or be nice. Not this back and forth emo crap. I don't want to talk to you indeed.
 photo reddatagirlepisode512_zps28099243.jpg
Izumiko and her slow dancing is hard to screenie.
But Izumiko did have a special moment. Miyuki was talking to her friend which means that he is cheating on her even though they are not together and she had to run off and have a high school girl moment in the rain. Now my tantrums of crazy usually involve throwing the remote and a lot of 4 letter words but Izumiko's involves dancing. Maybe she danced the crazy out of her head but I guess she is at that age where emotions can get the best of you.
 photo reddatagirlepisode516_zpsd59eb48f.jpg
Look at you, going to Tokyo and wearing lipstick!
The entire thing with Kisaragi and Hodaka was weird. I mean...is Miyuki just stupid for thinking that keeping Izumiko a secret is going to work? Because if everyone else is more powerful that Miyuki maybe they can just see that she is special. Like oh okay you keep that a secret. But I am not sure what they wanted with Izumiko. I get they were going to tell what she was by dancing but I don't know what they were going to do with her.
 photo reddatagirlepisode517_zpsfb013b12.jpg
And how exactly is he going to stop it?
The goddess comes out at random to tell everyone....hey if I am reborn that spells the end for humans. Which makes her whole little Izumiko will be the last carnation of her. XD Because there will be no more humans left weee! Now why this is going to happen I don't know. Guess Daddy's school isn't doing the job he thinks it is. Now killing Izumiko might be the easiest way to keep the world from ending but that would make too much sense.
 photo reddatagirlepisode518_zps0df4c298.jpg
And what are you going to do exactly?
The episode ends with Miyuki and Izumiko being weird. Miyuki basically says he will stay by her even though he sucks and Izumiko agreeing. Like oh okay I guess we have...moved forward? I don't know how Izumiko can depend on herself as she has no idea what she is or how to use her powers, if she has any. And Miyuki won't get any stronger at this rate but I guess acknowledging it give you brownie points. Crazy kids, arguing over talking to people and wearing lip stick. What a weird show.

Red Data Girl episode 4

According to my calculations I am all caught up on animes!! Woohoo! Of course the season just started. But still....I will pause and remember this moment and put aside that I didn't watch Blood-C The Last Fail. Maybe next week. That doesn't count anyway. It's a movie, not an episode. XD
 photo reddatagirlepisode4_zps1f6ff8db.jpg
HEY! You aren't waiting on me, I am on time!
So what episode is up now? Red Data Girl episode 4. Spoilers for...well apparently knowing nothing.
 photo reddatagirlepisode46_zpsc42389d0.jpg
Sakura blossoms? Must be opening ceremony day.
Episode Summary: Izumiko is getting along great with her roommate Mayura. They seem to have gotten to know each other during the time before school. They are in the cafe waiting for what turns out to be Mayura's brother Manatsu. He eventually shows up and Mayura chastises him. Apparently he was off riding horses and lost track of time. Mayura has “earned” her spot at the school whereas Manatsu has entered because of his sister. Izumiko is very shy during this meeting despite Manatsu trying to be very nice. Izumiko meets up with Miyuki later who insists she doesn't act familiar with him. They trade information, that Mayura beat Miyuki in the entrance exams. But a boy who is the top of the class walks by to greet Izumiko. His name is Takayanagi and looks like Wayima. Both Miyuki and Izumiko feel funny around him. The first day of school finally arrives and Mayura decides to change her hairstyle so she can have a fresh start. Izumiko decides to not wear her glasses so she can feel different too, as her eye sight isn't that bad. The ceremony takes place and Takayanagi is the speaker. As he talks Izumiko looks around and sees dark monster shadows. She starts to freak out and suddenly she is in her classroom. This school is separated by grades but with electives being mixed. That means that Mayura, Miyuki, and Takayanagi are all in one class and Izumiko and Manatsu are in another. Manatsu points out that there are a lot of international students at their school and in their class. While Manatsu is pointing Izumiko freaks out, as the Brazilian student is one of the dark shadows she saw earlier. Izumiko starts to lose her mind and is unable to concentrate in class. During a break Izumiko is approached by some girls in her class about a secret. Apparently Takayanagi has created a website that tells you your fortune and what not. But you need a password to get to the site. Izumiko is like why is this happening to me but thanks the girls are friends are cool. Plus it was nice distraction before going back to class and seeing the shadow guy.
 photo reddatagirlepisode412_zps20997fc7.jpg
I don't think throwing rice at Izumiko will make her any more interesting.
During another break the Brazilian sees that Izumiko is staring at him and he approaches her, telling her to meet him after class. This means there is more freaking out and Izumiko runs to tell Miyuki all of this, dropping her password in the process. Miyuki seems to think that Izumiko might be scared because he is a man AND he is foreign. Still on the off chance she is right they decide to meet with him and see what is up. Izumiko meets with the Brazilian in an empty room where at first he appears normal. She is almost calm until the shadows come again. She freaks out and suddenly Takayanagi is there throwing rice at her and chanting. Takayanagi is surprised that Izumiko is human as she has figured out the Brazilian is not. Miyuki appears and is like why do you think that is odd and shoots at the Brazilian with an empty bow. Only Miyuki started to chant and the not existent arrow poofs the Brazilian. Takayanagi smiles and says now he knows that Miyuki is a mountain monk and Izumiko hosts a spirit of some kind. He warns them not to mess with him and it is a bit of stand off. Takayanagi leaves and Mayura reveals herself. She says she would have protected Izumiko had it come down to it but she doesn't really want to go up against Takayanagi as she knows what he can do. Miyuki questions who she is and she says she has had similar training to Miyuki. She says that they better get used to school here because this is how it is. Izumiko still has no idea what is going on so Mayura asks Izumiko about the paper she dropped earlier. Izumiko explains it is a website password for something Takayanagi runs. Miyuki and Mayura decide to see what is up and decide it is a way for Takayanagi to get more people to like him. Before they can read their future the computer explodes. Miyuki gets Izumiko out of the way of the blast in time, which sorta embarrasses Izumiko. Miyuki has slight injuries whereas Mayura was pretty banged up, with her eye and hands hurt. Izumiko is so happy to see Mayura who pretends like she is awesome and wasn't really that afraid. Only when Manatsu shows up Mayura finally breaks down and cries about how scared she was. The siblings hug it out while Miyuki and Izumiko watch, Izumiko thinking she has never opened up to someone like that before. The siblings decide that they need to go and get back at Takayanagi now, to handle it now. Miyuki agrees to this and the siblings do some sort of...weird chant to summon a person named Masumi. Everyone then goes outside and the siblings introduce Izumiko to this Masumi. THE END!
 photo reddatagirlepisode410_zps6266d270.jpg
I don't even know what this website thing was all about. Weirdness.
This is a strange little series is it not. It is like only 50 percent of the information is being shown to the viewers. And I think that is the very important 50 percent. The part we are being shown is just fluffy and edgy, not informative. Informative information ya'll.
 photo reddatagirlepisode42_zps47addd9d.jpg
Because he's a moron.
Izumiko has made fast friends with her roommate Mayura. I guess she is okay with her old timeys ways of not using a cellphone or a computer. I don't know, it seems like in all animes people are super okay with all their roommates. XD I have never lived with anyone besides my nutso family and my husband. My brother had some roommates in college and I think he wanted to kill them. In any even these girls became fast friends (so it seems) in the before times of school actually starting.
 photo reddatagirlepisode43_zps701088d8.jpg
HMMMMMM how dead are we talking because at the end of the episode...
Mayura has a twin brother named Manatsu. Sorry I meant triplet. That was a point made to Izumiko so I thought it was important to remember. This school is obviously weird but the fact that sibling was allowed into the school without having the same skill set as other kids....weird. Of course at the end of the episode Manatsu seems to have some sort of powers and it works with Mayura. Perhaps that is the real reason he was let in, since they are wonder “twins”. But Manatsu seems to LOVE horses. If this is the school for kids not allowed to join the X-Men does he speak to animals?
 photo reddatagirlepisode44_zps99540579.jpg
Damn right you better not call me Miyuki.
I thought that Miyuki and Izumiko were going to have more interaction in school. I mean...he went there to protect her, to grow stronger right. But then again....this show does skip around a lot. I have no idea what to think. Last year is when Wamiya poofed. I don't know, things seemed rushed. I thought Izumiko and Miyuki had bonded but it feels as if they only meet in secret and not very frequently. Thanks for having my back and updating me on the creepy people in the school who look like Wamiya.
 photo reddatagirlepisode47_zps73dcdb37.jpg
A fresh new start of harassment duh!
The opening ceremony was rather special. I sorta liked that Izumiko and Mayura had a moment where they thought they had to change their appearances. It takes the viewer back to their first day of school, high school. Or maybe to build up to their first day of high school. But it time to start fresh for these girls. Leave those glasses behind, who needs to see. I thought that Mayura's ribbon placement was interesting but...I guess change is good. Now excuse me as I wear my hair the same way for 10 years.
 photo reddatagirlepisode48_zps4e3af3e1.jpg
Sure fooled me.
But back to the opening ceremony. Since you know...it was obvious that Izumiko had to wear those glasses to block scary stuff....I thought she would have seen more scary things. If this school houses special kids one would think there would be quite a few people that could trigger Izumiko's powers. But instead she just saw one. One would THINK that since she has been through this before, seeing scary things, that she would trust herself a little more. Instead she...passes out and appears in class. Good thing that Manatsu is there to take care of her.
 photo reddatagirlepisode49_zps4472aa5e.jpg
I see black...shadows! SHADOWS! Not people!!! I am not racist!!!!
I am not sure how I feel about the first...creepy thing Izumiko sees is the exchange student from Brazil. Oh no I can't accuse the dark skin foreigner of being something scary because I will come across as being racist. I mean that DOES happen and maybe it is more realistic that way. But Izumiko felt as if her life was in danger and she was being....very nervous about voicing her concerns.
 photo reddatagirlepisode411_zps61763d3a.jpg
Nope I don't think he does.
But maybe she should have been concerned. Because Miyuki might be the worse guardian in the history of anime. Izumiko and her nervous self has been proven to be right so far in matters of weird things. But he is like well you need to stop being racist and fit in more. But in case you are right and the fact that this creepy guy DID talk to you and wanted to meet with you alone...I guess I can come and protect you. If I have to.

POOF! And then no one cared.
Turns out that Izumiko was right and that the Brazilian exchange student was a...thing. Only he was being controlled by Takayanagi. Like um hold on, wait your turn. One creepy classmate at a time. Of course Miyuki did come in and waste the Brazilian pretty fast. Time to move on to Takayanagi doing whatever it is that Takayanagi does.
 photo reddatagirlepisode414_zps3891c04e.jpg
And what league would that be?
This is where the show once again gets confusing and acts like the viewers should know what is going on. It is either that or all the characters have....the strangest reactions on the face of the planet. Like oh you are holding a bow, hmmm that means you are clearly the mountain monk and goddess vessel of this school. Oh you are hiding in the corner and watching this go down. Hmm I see let us all go research this random password computer thing. Like what the hell?! Where is the XO faces, the who the hell are you and what do you want?! I understand build up and what not but NOTHING is getting explained. It is like The Walking Dead, no one can say the word zombies. We will just talk around the issue.
 photo reddatagirlepisode415_zps5f2ffc5d.jpg
Instead of intervening you could explain....maybe?
Is this making sense to anyone? Takayanagi is something and everyone just...accepts it. Accepts that they don't know. They don't question Mayura who seems to know more than Miyuki and Izumiko. Izumiko freaks out ALL THE TIME but when it comes to certain things she is like oh...yeah that is weird what could that be? Where is the crying and losing of the minds? That is what I want to see! With my eyes!!!
 photo reddatagirlepisode417_zps7dafa574.jpg
Computer explosions and people glowing.
No instead Mayura is like good job you mountain monk/goddess holder, lets go find out what this website is all about. I mean...it is craziness how this is all going down. We just exploded some person who really wasn't a person and now we are going to look at a website made by the exploded person's...owner. I like names and titles. What is Takayanagi?! Well I guess someone very powerful. For those who don't know who/what he is the website serves as a way to earn more fans. Maybe some brainwashing. And if the wrong person comes on the site...exploding!!!!
 photo reddatagirlepisode416_zps82d61d6f.jpg
DAWWW I want my brother to give me a hug now.
At least Izumiko showed some damn emotion when that happened. Of course she picked that time to be all girly and think about how Miyuki saved her. I think that I was okay with Mayura pretending to be all big and bad. Like this isn't a big deal. But when her brother came in it was tear city. That seemed very realistic to me. That you can open up in front of your family but in front of others, people you see as weaker (Izumiko) you got to put on a brave face. Mayura might make fun of Manatsu a lot but he is her brother and she needs him.
 photo reddatagirlepisode45_zps917e7790.jpg
Yeah she is always like this.
The episode ends with Manatsu and Mayura deciding it is time to take on Takayanagi. I personally would have taken a break since you know...Mayura got hurt. But they decided to attack now. Maybe Takayanagi won't be expecting it. But who is this Masumi person? Wonder twin powers indeed. Maybe in episode 5 titles and things will be explained. I doubt it though....

Red Data Girl episode 3

Hello there my lovely readers! Today was the day of many things getting done in the house of Tenchi. Really there are two human beings who live in this house and I did like 4 loads of laundry. The husband was a bit under the weather last week so I went through and washed everything. XD Begone terrible germs. But yes so much laundry.
 photo reddatagirlepisode311_zps2e8b5d1b.jpg
I just want a friend!!!
But anime did get done today folks. X__X Looking at this episode though I didn't take enough screenies for this post. How did that happen? But up first is Red Data Girl episode 3. Spoilers for...nothing ever being explained ever.

Episode Summary: Izumiko takes a deep breath as she is happy to be back at home. Miyuki is happy that Izumiko seems happy and they share in a WOW wasn't that shit that went down in Tokyo crazy kinda moment. Izumiko takes him to the top of the mountain so he can see the ocean before he goes back to Tokyo. Miyuki wants to know when that is going to happen and Izumiko reminds him that Yukimasa said he could go home. Miyuki gets a bit upset about all this going back talk as he couldn't possibly do that now. They briefly talk about how Izumiko was possessed by a god princess or something but it doesn't seem like THAT big of a deal. They decide to refer to this god as another person. Then the talk goes to the school in Tokyo that Izumiko's father wants them to attend, that maybe it could be interesting. At school everyone makes sure that Izumiko is okay since she bailed on the trip....and then give her a souvenir to give to Wayima since they all know she likes him. She gets all blushy when it comes time to hand over the treat. Wayima at first seems grateful but comments that Izumiko seems different after coming back from the vile Tokyo. He then learns she might not attend school here and that she doesn't totally hate Miyuki. Wayima gets creepy and vows to take care of Miyuki. Fast forward to the end of the school day and three boys approach Miyuki and proceed to beat him up under Wayima's orders. Miyuki tries to fight back but then the boys start talking in Wayima's voice as if they are being controlled.

Suddenly Izumiko's driver appears and does some chanting. He gets Miyuki away from the boys and throws him in the car with Izumiko as she informed the driver of the situation. They realize that a spirit is following them on a bike. Miyuki starts to get pissed because he has no idea who Wayima is and thinks Izumiko is crazy. They think they have outrun the spirit but no it has gotten in front of them and pushes them off the cliff. Miyuki and Izumiko are able to exit the car but the driver is pinned. Wayima reveals that he had no shape until Izumiko wishes for someone to understand her. Then that god took the shape of Wayima to be with her and is Miyuki tries to take Izumiko away...well he will be pissed. The driver tells Miyuki to take the staff in the trunk and protect Izumiko but Miyuki is like...no. He tells Izumiko to listen to what Wayima is saying or everyone will be in danger. Izumiko is like...listen to me Wayima. I might go away to Tokyo for school and if you hurt anyone I won't like you anymore so BEHAVE! Then poof Wayima disappears. Life returns to normal and Miyuki vows that he will go to this special school in Tokyo so he can become stronger and protect Izumiko. Izumiko decides she will go to that school too, only have Miyuki checks it out. Wayima appears and asks Izumiko to send him off. Izumiko agrees to dance for him and Wayima and Izumiko watch as she moves...so slowly. Wayima disappears after seeing this dance and Miyuki heads off to Tokyo. Izumiko and her father join him later, as this school is for people who can be spiritualist. Miyuki warns Izumiko to keep who she is on the down low and Izumiko probably doubts that she can. She goes to her room and meets her really happy roommate. THE END!

…..Am I really, REALLY missing something from this show? Am I not downloading the episodes in order? Are the episodes I am downloading missing pieces in them? Will everything be explained in a flashback? Because....what is this craziness?!
 photo reddatagirlepisode3_zps1130bae4.jpg
Everything is normal lalala.
First off everyone is back at home. POOF! Like Tokyo never happened. Guess we never got to see mom. Just lala going to walk back to the rest of the class/teachers and NOTHING will happen. NOTHING! I mean putting aside the fact that they were almost attacked by something CREEPY and Izumiko turns out to be a princess...where was the gossip?! Izumiko goes off with Miyuki, the new hot guy in school OVERNIGHT and there is no whispering? Sure her two friends could stand by her but where was the rest of the whispers and looks? I can see Yukimasa paying off the adults, offering them amazing rides on his helicopter but the kids? This is odd.
 photo reddatagirlepisode33_zps8258631d.jpg
Yeah that was weird......moving on now.
But the whole show has been odd so far. To me it seems that Izumiko was unaware of her lot in life. That all she really knew is she had shitty parents and when she touched things that were higher in technology than a ground phone the thing would explode. She does live at a temple so perhaps she believes in spirits and what not more than the next person but to be okay with ALL this insanity is...well insane. Just yeah remember when we got chased though Tokyo by monsters I never saw? So glad we can breath this mountain air. I am not sensing the seriousness from Izumiko or Miyuki about this nor am I getting a good explanation on what is going on.
 photo reddatagirlepisode32_zpsb65e4587.jpg
Why are you telling me to go?!
Izumiko went from hating Miyuki to being okay with him because he....um...let me see...held her hand as he ran across streets with her, getting her more and more lost. And not protecting her at all. But I guess he gave her the feeling of protection which was enough for her. But is that enough to put aside all that Miyuki has said and done to Izumiko? Oh wait you mean he has been around for 5 seconds? I see then. But what about Miyuki? He has had a lifetime to hate Izumiko as she “took” his dad away from him. Then he is forced to come to this small town and protect said girl? Then gets the shit beat out of him for saying no? Then get chased through a city being chased by something he can't see or might not have been there?! Yeah I can totally see why Miyuki had a total change of heart folks.

Everyone say AWWWWWW!
I thought it was super sweet of all the girls to give Izumiko the treats to give to Wamiya. I mean now that I watched the whole episode they might have been under Wamiya's control. Or if Izumiko can wish things maybe that was going on. Still I would like to think that the girls saw how much Wamiya meant to Izumiko and wanted to do something nice for her. And it was a group of girls too. XD But why didn't Izumiko think of this? Too shy or a bad Japanese citizen?
 photo reddatagirlepisode35_zps05974e2a.jpg
This is for me? Thank you!!!!
For 5 seconds it was touching when Izumiko gave the treats to to Wamiya. Like AWWWW the non beef cake, maybe nerdy kid is getting some love. It was cute, for those 5 whole seconds.
 photo reddatagirlepisode36_zps8a95dadf.jpg
How dare you change your mind!
Then it got a little crazy. Talk of being impure and dirty. I guess I think of Tokyo as the place to be but for some Japanese it must be so different, especially for the old people. I know you an be more affectionate in public, like HOLDING HANDS but I am sure there are more seedy areas as there are just more people around. So the old people are set in their ways and raise their kids in the sticks so the grandkids are in the sticks and some of those kids want to stay in the sticks and not embrace the world of today. But yes more people more problems. Even if compared to the U.S. though it is still pretty mice. Impure by seeing busy streets and talk buildings. More people than trees.
 photo reddatagirlepisode38_zpsa512ac9a.jpg
Insert dramatic music here.
Wamiya was kinda hardcore crazy. Izumiko had to go on the school trip. Given what Wamiya is it makes sense how he got out if it but Izumiko didn't go because of Miyuki. And Izumiko is a teenage girl. She can hate someone on minute and the next day everything is 100. Plus it's not like not hating Miyuki meant she liked Wamiya any less. But I guess he saw the writing on the wall. Or was just insane.
 photo reddatagirlepisode37_zpsefbef65c.jpg
Ass beating time!!!!!
Wamiya controlling the other boys was a bit special. I wonder at what point it was “control”. Were the boys led first by his words and then the control? Because up until that point Miyuki seemed to be a pretty popular new student. Even so Miyuki was a bit cocky to think he could take on all three boys at once. Unless that mountain monk training includes self defense.
 photo reddatagirlepisode39_zps60725d3d.jpg
We are in danger, can you drive faster please?
That was.....the most calm car chase ever. I mean I realize they were being chased by a shadow on a bike but their faces weren't really panicked given that they all KNOW what the hell is going on, that Wamiya is a god/demon. If I was Izumiko I would be crying and screaming that my crush is some awful thing trying to kill me. It looked more like tea time than flying off a cliff time.
 photo reddatagirlepisode310_zpsba6f8386.jpg
Because she made me duh.
I am not sure how I feel about Wamiya being what he is. I mean...I don't expect to be spoon-fed everything in all animes nor do I think all mysteries should have obvious hints. However...this was pretty special. If Wamiya was created by Izumiko why could everyone see him but Miyuki? Shouldn't Miyuki out of everyone be able to see spirits and what not MORE?! I like that Wamiya looked like Izumiko, that she thinks that is the kind of person good for her. However they need to make up their minds on some issues, the writers I mean. Izumiko either made Wamiya when she made her “wish” or could see him once she cut her hair. It really can't be both and it is like show isn't explaining things well enough for the viewer to understand. Like we aren't in your head creator nor did all of us read/play the source material (if there is any). So make this show have some sense of...well sense.
 photo reddatagirlepisode312_zps5637cc26.jpg
Thank you great protector.
I am not sure how I feel about Miyuki giving up in the fight against Wamiya. One one hand he could have TRIED! Like hello you had confidence when hitting those boys, where is it now? A few black clouds scarying you? On the other hand it is refreshing to see someone in anime acknowledge they are not Superman. That they are out matched and that more people might be saved if they surrender instead of being Mr. Macho Man.
 photo reddatagirlepisode313_zpsf6f20165.jpg
That would be Wamiya...poofing.
But then Izumiko stepped up and was a little badass. I might be paraphrasing here but I think she said something like Look here you little shithead, brought you into this world and I can take you out of it. That is what I heard anyway. Now....maybe....Izumiko knows what is going on. Or maybe she doesn't understand but knows it's something bad. But I think she really lucked out on.....you know...not getting everyone else killed. I mean I haven't seen her ask about this Princess gig yet. To me it seems as if everything worked out for her. Like because I am doing the right thing and am cute like Homura the world will protect me.
 photo reddatagirlepisode315_zps9903bbf5.jpg
The very slow dance of her people.
So since I don't know exactly what Wamiya is his whole send off was weird. A god without form until Ms. Princess Izumiko said so. And now he he is stuck in this form until she releases him. Not dead mind you you but released. But this involved “dancing”. I say that loosely. I know I am American and this could be Japanese dancing...but to me it seemed so slow and very, very little movement. Like use that fan and move with a purpose. It is almost looked like it was supposed to be impressive but the budget was so tight for this show all we got was Miyuki saying it was impressive.
 photo reddatagirlepisode314_zpsfef38fff.jpg
We shall get stronger together!
During and after all this nonsense Izumiko realized that she needed to go to Tokyo, to the school her parents told her to go to. Now before seeing this school I was like...why would you go back to Tokyo, land of the dangers and technology? I mean I might want to stay close to home so I can be protected in my tiny town. Or you know...since I am so special receive special training from people who knows who and what I am. Just saying!

But since Izumiko and her cut hair are not me off she will go. Well first she will send Miyuki to see how it is. Yes send him in case it is dangerous even though he can't sense danger. But props to you girl, send him in first. XD Funny how this is episode three and barely any time has passed but now Miyuki and Izumiko are getting along just fine. Yay development!
 photo reddatagirlepisode316_zps730a9c87.jpg
It's huge! X___X
The episode ends with Miyuki showing Izumiko around the new school. That is in Tokyo. That looks like a giant forest. I believe it. Dad and his awful outfit have manage to show up but no mom. Good job mom. But apparently this school is to help....people like Izumiko. Except that Izumiko can't say who she is as she might be the most special student? I have no idea what this could be about. Only I know it will involve a lot of nonsense with Miyuki trying to hide her true nature when she is confused on what is going on. Fun I am sure. Good look over the top roommate!
