Psycho-Pass episode 22 Final Episode!

Whoever said that Florida was the sunshine state was full of crap. Probably the same person who invented Daylight Savings time. I will just blame all the world's wrongs and evils on one person. Much easier that way you think?

So what is up now? The ending of Psycho-Pass. Episode 22. People thinks that there might be more to this show later down the line but for now it is over. Spoilers for Akane probably failing at everything.

Just kiss already! Or kill each other! Something!

Episode Summary: Shougo and Shinya continue to fight and banter around like they are getting ready to have sex with each other. Or kill each other. Probably the same thing for these two. Shougo says that Shinya feels the same as him and Shinya is like um no clearly I am okay with my lot in life. All these craziness is going on with knives. The battle goes back and forth and Shougo taunts Shinya, saying the man will never learn. Well Shinya nearly breaks his arm and lands a serious blow on Shougo. Before Shinya can take him out Akane is like halt I am here and I have a gun. Shougo gets away and Shinya wonders if this is really his life. Akane says she is not going to let Shougo kill Shinya which is good since he is bleeding off into the sunset. Akane gives Shougo the Dominator that has been locked on paralyze mode and she takes the real gun. They chase after Shougo is a super dramatic fashion with Akane explaining that they are not protecting a bad law. That the people create laws and they are protect their ideals to making a better society and she has to believe in that. After some more dramatic talk Akane and Shinya are nearly hit by a truck. Shinya is unable to shoot Shougo so Akane takes a ride on the back of the truck. She manages to shoot out one of the tires and the truck crashes. Akane is injured and Shougo stands over her but apparently there are no bullets left in the gun. He fails to kill her and limps away. Shinya catches up to Akane and she begs him not to go. He reloads the gun and chases after Shougo.

Actor cops now?!

Shougo is pretty injured and is thinking about how Akane nearly killed him and that is something he never planned for. Shinya catches up and Shougo asks what Shinya will do without him to chase. A gunshot rings out and Akane knows she has lost Shinya forever. Some time later Akane and her bruised self goes to visit Sibyl. Since Akane failed she has been taking down a few pegs in terms of importance. But Sibyl thinks that they can learn from Akane and her unique beliefs. Akane is pissed that she is still being used. Sibyl says that one day they wish to reveal to the whole world their true nature and to do that they need to build up trust and what not. Sibyl hopes to learn that from Akane and Akane is like bitches I am going to create a world that doesn't need you. Ginoza visits his father's grave with his new arm self. Ginoza has become a latent criminal and an Enforcer, both are probably something his father wouldn't want. Akane picks Ginoza up as she is his boss now. Ginoza is grateful that his father has a grave as Shusei does not. Then they talk about where Shinya could be and how Ginoza isn't wearing glasses now. Elsewhere Shion and Yayoi are having sex and thinking about how all the boys are dying off from their group. Akane prepares to get a very new and young partner. It turns out to be the survivor girl from the school murders. Akane repeats nearly the same conversation that Ginoza had with her when she first started. Only she refers to her two Enforcers as humans and to be careful of the system. Elsewhere Shinya is living in a hole and THE END!

More like sighing at the disappointment.

Well that was 23982 kinds of disappointment. It's like CLAMP has taken over all the animes and has no idea how to end them properly. Like oh snap um...um..never mind we will barely end it at all and leave everyone feeling unsatisfied so no one can be happy yay!!!

I thought that Shinya and Shougo....well I guess they fought enough. Maybe more fist fighting and not playing around with these tiny knives. I mean obviously knives can do some serious damage but it was like watching a fencing match. Like they were toying with each other and weren't ever going to do real damage. Until Shinya actually did which surprised Shougo. The banter between the two is something that did keep the other on their toes but maybe not so much connecting. Shougo seems to think that they are very similar individuals. I don't think that and I don't think Shougo does either. I think society views them as similar though. Maybe that is what Shougo should have focused on saying. But clearly Shinya did not think the two were the same.

Goodbye my "friend".

Part of me was like Shougo....why didn't you tell Shinya about the brains?! Why not try to get Shinya to see what you are fighting against? But....I don't think that would have worked in Shougo's favor. Or rather Shinya would have agreed with Shinya, still blew him away, and then try to take down the system himself. Only he would do it in a way that didn't cost people their lives. Shinya was a latent criminal because his sense of justice was too strong. Yay system! So yeah I guess if Shougo told Shinya it really wouldn't have done HIM any good but it might have saved future people. Shougo didn't seem to want to stop the system because it was unfair. He wanted to stop it because it excluded him and he was bored.

What the hell is this shit?!

While nothing romantic EVER happened between Shinya and Akane....that man must feel something for her. But even love has it's limits. Like Shinya finally was winning in a battle with Shougo and Akane comes and lets him escape. Like really....really....couldn't Akane have....shot Shougo? You know the two were busy trying to slash each other's heads off and or touch their penises together and no one noticed Akane. She could have gone around and shot both of the men without them knowing. But NOOOO Akane is like stop Shinya I have to save you even if that means the guy who is trying to kill everyone escapes. But all Shinya does is sigh. Like gurl you are dumb, like a silly dog that always messes up.

And a jar full of brains makes the law?

Despite that Akane suffers from a serious case of dumb the exchange she and Shinya had going on was quite intelligent. Even if their movements were a bit dramatic. Surprised they didn't drop to the ground and roll around. But yes Akane is like we are protecting people and their ideals. Because laws will always be flawed first. *Putting on her criminal justice hat. * There will be times when protecting the system will go against logic. But without a system in place either another one would come to take its place or chaos would reign. Now....brains...yeah that is a bit much. But we have a system that has people arguing and money exchanging hands and people not being thought of but self interest. So can we really judge them? Oh we can well continue.

What does that mean?!?!?!? XO

Akane was a bit bad ass riding on the back of the truck. Shinya was like what is this day? I am so off my game! I really can't fault Akane for...you know being injured after the fact. She did her part. Although....she really should have died. Had Shougo stomped on her head I think Shinya would have stopped and been upset. I know he ran away from Tomomi but I think Akane would have been different. Is there a reason why Shougo stopped and looked her like that? Am I missing something?

Only you can kill me Shinya. You complete me.

In the end Shinya did catch up with Shougo. You know...with the obvious blood trail to follow and all. Shougo was able to show his slightly human side. I mean...he seemed upset that Akane almost killed him and not Shinya. Maybe running from Shinya was fun. That someone paid attention to him. In the end I don't really feel bad that his brains got blown out. Does the system need to be changed? Probably. But he went around and gave people the means to do horrible stuff to people. He deserves to stop existing, not to chill with other brains.

And then there was no more Shinya.

And that was the last time that Akane ever saw Shinya. Ever. Unless the little message at the end of the show means something. And the thing is I thought that Akane was going to be a little more upset about it. Maybe she is, alone in her room and not in front of people that she is in charge of. She had some anger yes but no sadness. Maybe she realizes that deep down that Shinya was never going to be safe and this is the best for him? I don't think that as Akane has a strong sense of justice. Maybe it is best he got away so she didn't have to blow him away? Still I thought there was going to be more between those two and POOF nothing happened.

Translation: Akane gets to live!

Akane did get to talk to all the brains though. Which is good, that there was talking and not more killing. Clearly Akane is an interesting little case and Sibyl wants to study her. Which of course is a bit insulting when you think about it but I guess Akane can't totally bite the hand that doesn't kill her. Akane got her licks in, saying she was going to bring the system down instead of helping them become exposed to the public over time. I am not sure what they think Akane can do...she ain't a miracle worker. Maybe in the future people won't care so much brains will make sense!

Why aren't you crazy?!?!?!

Then the series wrapped up in a nice bow that no one really wanted. Like....really? Really? Ginoza wasn't smashing his head against a wall while being locked up? Because I am pretty sure that guy spent the last 22 episodes acting like he was better than everyone and now...he is one of them. Missing an arm and all. And all he is doing is going....meh? MEH?! He just accepted everything and is going with the flow. I mean...what else CAN he do at this point? But character development wise this is not how Ginoza should have ended up. Just...interesting. I mean if Akane was my boss and my dad was dead and my best friend is missing forever I might be slightly more upset. SLIGHTLY!

Avenge Shusei!

Who isn't upset? Well not Shusei because he is dead and barely got a mention. It really is sad how the show treated him. I am not pissed that he died (well I am but still) but that he might have been the greatest example of why this system is so flawed. A little kid flagged as a latent criminal? I would argue that is just as bad as cracking their eggs open because they are afraid if Fiends. It is more like they created a criminal with Shusei. His case really should have spoke to Akane on why this system was flawed. Instead she was like Shinya penis.....

Pay no attention to the lack of character development. BOOBIES!

Yayoi seems to be having a great time now that three of her friends are gone forever and her Inspector is now an Enforcer. Bring on the sex! Okay so maybe that was harsh. Yayoi really hasn't changed that much. She still is a very hard to read person. All that she said was she trusts Akane as a good leader. That is all. I think that there was much more going on with her though. Whatever happened to that blue hair music girl? Thought we were going to have an epic showdown with her and Yayoi. But no. Another wasted opportunity.

Because you have known him for so long...

The episode ends with Akane getting a new partner and the show coming full circle. Some people think it is so cool and some people think it is lazy. I am not sure where I stand. I see both sides really. Has Akane really changed enough? Has enough time passed for her to have the air that Ginoza had about him? I just don't think she is ready enough for the job. Like a 15 year old kid who has grown up tough is still 15 you know? Just a really hard and jaded kid.

Also I think it was slightly dramatic to have someone so young be Akane's partner. I know we know now who does the picking when it comes to this line of work. They have to meet a lot of criteria. And given how crazy things got in the end maybe people were just recovering from the helmet heads. But a kid fresh out of high school? Or still in high school? I don't know. It just felt weird and forced. Like look Akane has someone to mold and train to be amazing just like her. Together they are going to take on the Sybil system. Quick pull out the Ginoza cards and make a few changes. Call it a greeting.

And that is about it.......sad really. I think the ending should have been more. More something. More with Shinya and how his life is like now, how Akane reacted to it all, Ginoza losing his mind.. Just more. This ending feels flat and it is hard to put my finger on it. Maybe because nothing has really changed and the world keeps on turning. Akane is on the case though guys. She will.....maybe...do something?

Psycho-Pass episode 21

5 posts in one "day". WOOHOO TO ME! Of course that means I have absolutely nothing left in my folder almost done blogging. Meaning I will have nothing to blog tomorrow because I need to focus on...you know house stuff or I needs to start watching now. XD I think the week in between anime seasons was made for me to catch up on previous episodes. Of course I need to see what I am watching for Spring don't I....

Let's just say this doesn't end well for someone in this show.

But before tomorrow there is this one last post. Before I hit the hay or attempt to because Kira doesn't like it when I sleep at night here is Psycho-Pass episode 21. Spoilers for...nail guns and old fashion razors.

What no Hamlet?!?!

Episode Summary: Akane and the gang hop aboard a helicopter heading towards the food producing plant. The mood is grim as Akane knows a lot is on the line. At the plant Shougo is reading the bible instead of getting down to business and Shinya is slowing turning into a mountain lion trying to find a way in. He is shocked when the helicopter shows up and he hasn't even entered the building yet. He calls Akane and she is very short with him as to hide her plan. Shinya says they will probably not make it in time to stop Shougo so they should shut down the entire plant. Akane is like so then security system will be down and you can kill Shougo. No thanks. Yayoi is on standby with Shion to shut down the systems while Akane is thinking. Tomomi questions why Akane has been acting different since she saw Granny Chief. Akane says she hasn't but decides to shut down the power and hope they beat Shinya to Shougo. She also requests that if it comes down to shooting Shinya to call her in and let her do it. In a flashback Akane made the Sybil system make her gun Paralyze only again under the guise of a threat. When questioned again Akane allows Tomomi to check her number and it is relatively low. They shut down the power and Shinya rushes in. Everyone else takes a leisure stroll like they didn't consider the possibility that Shougo brought people with him. Akane tries to be Shinya again, WWSD. She decides that Shougo will go for a back up method to get power in the plant. But others state he might try to cut this losses and escape. Akane breaks the teams up with Yayoi going with her and Tomomi and Ginoza on the other.

Ginoza is like um why are you trusting guns after what happened with Granny?

Akane and Yayoi make their way to the control room but find it empty. On the walk though Yayoi talks about Akane used to be the most useless person ever but now she trusts her with her life. So yay positive yes? Only when Akane finds the room empty she finds it void of Shinya's presence. She realizes that something is wrong and that Tomomi and Ginoza are in danger. She leaves Yayoi in the room, practically ensuring Yayoi will live and goes after the boys. Meanwhile Ginoza and Tomomi are having a Father and Son moment. Ginoza is very upset that Tomomi let Shinya go after Shougo, signifying that Tomomi believes more in Shinya than Ginoza. Tomomi points out that they are on different sides of the law and are both needed. Tomomi stops Ginoza from tripping a trap but that sends Ginoza to a different trap. An explosion occurs and heavy boxes fall on Ginoza pinning him to the ground. Tomomi goes to rescue him but Shougo appears with a nail gun. Tomomi blocks the bullets with his fake arm and tries to fight Shougo. He ends up holding Shougo down in a choke hold. Shougo sets off some TNT which causes Tomomi to smile, like we are both going to blow up. Shougo also smiles and says wrongo and throws it at Ginoza. Ginoza orders Tomomi to not let Shougo go but of course Tomomi takes off and grabs the TNT. He doesn't get a chance to throw it and it explodes in his hand. Shougo takes off and Ginoza basically rips his arm off getting free from the boxes. He runs over to his dad and demands to know why he did this. Tomomi of course says you are my son and dies. Shinya runs by and sees the state Ginoza and Tomomi are in. He is distraught but takes off after Shougo. Akane is also on the chase and there are dramatic closeups of people and their varying degrees of what the hell?! Shinya finds Shougo and they trade insults and ready their weapons. THE END!

Well....he did give you hints so you know....

Well then. A death has happened. And really it was probably the most predictable one that was going to happen. But that doesn't make it any less sad. Lets go in order though though. You know, like all those other times I go exactly in order.

SEE?! UTTER SHOCK!

How hilarious was it that Shinya was being all secret agent ninja man like he usually is and Akane rolls up in the helicopter? Like what the hell I AM THE HERO! But unlike Ginoza Shinya is able to see the entire situation. Instead of being upset that he was found so soon this really means that Akane has learned a lot, that he is proud of her. And I am sure he is slightly glad to have some back-up, even if it ruins his plans. 

Because after all he can't shut down the power to the building. Shinya wants his revenge against Shougo for all the crimes he has commit but he still wants to protect the general public. So it is killing two birds with one stone. Now a few episodes ago Akane would have said YES Shinya I will gladly turn the power off to the building so we can save everyone weee! But now Akane is all cold and harsh and understands how the world works. She is like um no Mr. I want to sneak into the building. We will think of another plan that doesn't involve giving you a headshot to kill yourself.

I WILL SAVE YOU WHETHER YOU LIKE IT OR NOT!

I really thought that Akane was going to tell Shinya what was going on with her thinking. Not that I think that she SHOULD do that but I just thought in frustration she would scream it at him. Listen to me I want to save you!!!! But Akane was firm in being all proper and short. Now I thought her cover was going to be blown with everyone asking Akane what was wrong with her? Um thanks for trying to put Akane on the spot. But in their defense Akane did become amazing in 30 minutes. It was a little shocking for them.

LALALALA walking so calmly....

I like how Shougo was humming to himself and reading the Bible, Shougo was being a ninja, and everyone else was taking a stroll through the building. Such different reactions. But I was serious, Shougo could have had tons of people with him. What was with this lalalaing. I thought when Akane broke up the teams that Yayoi was a goner for good though. Like oh nos red shirts for all! But yes all the reactions to this final showdown were a little off. Like....this is it folks, time to get serious.

Even thought Yayoi was a bit....well putting Akane in danger with her you have changed comments I think there was resolution with these two. I just said I thought Yayoi was in deep trouble and this was the main reason. Like oh we understand each other and promise to have each other's backs. Time for someone to die weee! I think that Yayoi was right to tell Akane how she really felt about her. Of course Yayoi didn't join this way of life out of duty either but one could just tell Akane was off for the job. So by telling Akane she has really changed will give her even more confidence. Yayoi and Akane will make a great team after they survive this and put the pieces to their lives back together. Because Yayoi is going to live folks.

You think that Tomomi could have read the situation better....

So since Yayoi was a red herring what was the killer conversation this week? Daddy and Ginoza. Ginoza was like Dad you NEVER trust me, you only believe in Shinya. Even if Ginoza acknowledged that Shinya is the best cop ever Ginoza still is “boss' and wants to respect from his underlinings, even if it is his Dad. And moreso that it is his dad. So while Ginoza might not be the best I understand his tantrum.

Probably to keep you from killing your friend. Not that you care of course.

I hope what Tomomi said wasn't lost upon Ginoza. That hello kid all I have ever done is protect you. I don't think he meant a lack of respect although the jokes and antics might have gone too far at times. Tomomi just wanted to protect his son even though he is an adult and chose a dangerous job. It then appeared that Tomomi was siding with Shinya. Which he should since Shinya is a ninja but still made Ginoza feel bad. These things needed to be explained. Dad wanted to protect the son and Ginoza wanted to be acknowledged.

Did you really think he was going to listen to you Ginoza?

And then Shougo came in the room and blew that all away. At first I was like OH CRAP Ginoza really did die first?! Just a flesh wound folks. Well sorta. We never learned the story about how Tomomi lost his arm but I guess it doesn't matter. I keep laughing when people bring out nail guns as weapons but that is all I guess normal people have access to. You would think that Shougo would have access to more but I guess not.

Just BAWWWWWW!

But the fight was not a fighting matter. I don't want to say that Shougo fought dirty...Smart. He fought smart. And if the “good” guys were in that position I would be cheering them for doing that. Shougo wants to change the world or at least Japan but he is willing to kill many in the process. Now one could argue that Tomomi acted just like Saki did over QueerRatsRUs. He had the enemy, the person who could kill millions but instead he risked it all to save one person. Logic is hard to follow when your heart is in the way.

Just....so sad. :(

What happened after the TNT went off was pretty awful. If Ginoza survives this series he will probably end up with a metal arm and the status of a latent criminal. Just like his dad. And normally he would hate that, kill himself at that possibility. But at the moment I don't think that matters. Ginoza was unable to save his father and Tomomi died protecting the most important thing to him. Ginoza looked so broken and lost there is no way that he isn't a latent criminal. And the look that Shinya and Ginoza exchanged...heartbreaking.

What decision is Akane going to make? Will the gun stay on paralyze mode? Somehow I doubt it....

This is bad news on several fronts. Akane is behind the pack as she went the opposite direction. Yayoi will not make it in time. Ginoza is down for the count I believe. I mean he could surprise me and save the day but I doubt it. Right now Shinya has even more reason to blow Shougo away which means Akane will lose Ginoza. Are we ready for the final, final showdown? I don't think it will positively given the nature of the this show. Either society will be “free” and crazy or controlled and awful. Either way...I am sure someone else will die. :(

Psycho-Pass episode 20: Akane is your trumpt card? OH BOY!

4 posts in a row GO ME! Even with this slow and new Photobucket I am moving right along. I want to reward myself with a cupcake but I already ate one while watching the Biggest Loser. Because I am the nicest person ever. XD

Akane?! THE LEADER?! Is the sky falling?!

So what is up next on my list? Well certainly not that anime that I am 6 episodes behind on. No no that would be silly. Instead I will blog Psycho-Pass episode 20. Spoilers for Akane being the last hope. Scary I know.

Um...that about sums it up yep.

Episode Summary: The Dominator leads Akane down to brain central much to her shock. It is unclear which brain is in charge but it explains all the details to Akane, down to the fact that the Sybil System is run by a bunch of ex latent criminals. Akane has the expected reaction, rage. She guesses that Shuusei was killed by Sybil and the brain agrees, that Shuusei would have most likely told the public the truth about what goes down in the basement. Sybil explains that Akane's team is falling apart and needs a new leader. To earn Akane's trust Sybil decided to risk showing Akane the truth, that Akane has the same values as the brains. Because even though Akane is upset and hates this setup she sees the value in the system, that life without the system would be horrible. Sybil explains to Akane the more off a person is (IE not being able to be judged by the system) the better they are for Sybil themselves thus they want Shougo. Sybil wants Akane to stop Shougo from getting his brains blown out by Shinya. Elsewhere Shougo has met with the due that used to be ahead of the crop growing in Japan. He worked with making an anti virus that would protect the crops. Shougo tries to work the man up, saying what a shame it is that the old dude got phased out. But then Shougo talks about how the building is so old it uses finger prints and oh look I have a knife. Shinya arrives a short time later to find the old dude dead on the ground.

But how does it help those who are given.....not so bright futures?

Ginoza calls Akane and is like where are you?!?! Akane lies and says that Granny boss needed her. Ginoza pretends to not be hurt and says that a murder has taken place and Shinya's fingerprints are all over. Akane says she will be there soon but takes a trip in her mind first. Akane and her two friends (one who is dead now) are all waiting for their test results. They declare Akane lucky to have scored so high. But when her friends get their scores their jobs are clear and Akane is picked for...well anything. She feels burden in this lack of decision and suddenly she is talking to Shuusei again, about how people of past had to make their own decisions. Akane finally understands what Shuusei was trying to say, that maybe her life wasn't so bad making her own decisions. Shougo then appears on the staircase, talking about there is value in people who make their own decision. Akane thinks she can understand that thinking now, how he feels about the system. But she still can't allow him to judge people in his own way and commit crimes. She arrives at the murder scene where of course Ginoza thinks that Shinya did it. Akane puts on her Shinya hat and says that Shougo killed this man and Shinya arrived after the fact. That Shinya must have left a clue to finding Shougo in case he failed but hopes the clue won't be found right away so he has time to kill Shougo. Ginoza has to rub his eyes as he sees Shinya in Akane. After being told who the victim is Akane declares that Shougo is going to mess with the food plant and that they can make it there if they hurry. Shougo and his bag full of fingers and eyes of the dead victim makes it way to the plant. He is able to sneak in as there is no scan and starts to work on infecting the food. Shinya also shows up and makes his way to the plant. THE END!

This new world is full of random body parts all over the place.

A bag full of eyes and fingers. I get to type all sorts of fun things when watching this show. However I thought other people's eyes and fingers were going to be in the bag. No high body count yet? Well of main characters I mean. I am surprised.

Unaware how dangerous this all is!

First things first. I am not impressed with this food source. Sorta makes me sad. I mean I guess they make it taste like other things but the idea you are eating like tofu (sorta) for everything is odd. And the farm itself was weird. I was expecting something much grander.

SUPER SAFE!

However I guess the more important question is.......why is their main source of food (the entire thing basically) so out in the open with old technology?! Like this society has everything else monitored and planned out and down to a T but with the food, the thing that keeps them from having to venture out into the world....MEH lets just use this broken down building and not change a thing. It was like they wanted Shougo to break in there. And what was up with the old man coming to visit Shougo? I have no idea who you are but my ego is at a low point and you seem to speak highly of me? Have fun being dead on the floor with no fingers or eyes. One would think that if someone is forcefully retired from a place they take out his security clearance but this is the unsafest place ever so does it really matter?

See? Super calm.

I really thought that Akane was going to take the news of the BRAAAINS worse than she did. I mean she doesn't react well to her world falling apart and being wrong and things not being perfect and lovely. But maybe since so many bad things have happened she is like PFFT bring it on. Okay maybe she wasn't that hardcore but she was able to get up and do her job after being told everything. Of course I would have liked to her to cry more about Shuusei than how stupid the whole system is but she did see Shuusei later which means he has had a big impact on her.

Oh and you can't even be a robot right gosh! Like a broken down old TV.

It is weird that the Sybil system is talking and acting like a robot but there are humans that are controlling it. Maybe all of them together think like a robot? But it was like talking to Kyubey up in here. Like if you stop thinking in terms of good and evil everything will be better. Surely we are helping the world more than we hurt it. Oh and Shuusei had to die so we can protect the world. Why so mad?

Of course rooting for a guy with a bag full of fingers and eyes is hard to do....

While everyone is rooting for Akane to do the right thing...I am not quite sure what that is anymore. Clearly having a society run by brains is not the right thing. But the way things are set up now if that system were to fall chaos would take place and more people would die. So at this point they might be stuck with the horrible system just to maintain the peace they sorta have. The helmet people showed Akane how quickly everything can fall apart. How just like in Shin Sekai Yori.....you can hate the system and know it is needed. But Akane's trust has been broken. Completely broken. She has been trying to do the right thing and the people running the show are criminals. Akane did have a bit of a badass moment though. She is like screw this shit, I am going to do what I want. Even if that is following your orders. If you don't like my terms blow my brains out. Okay maybe she was badass in a very....stupid way. Because the system could have just blown her brains out. But she made her demands in a very calm way. You need me to save Shougo and I want to save Shinya. Good things the brains are such robots yes? But Akane is done been a wet noodle. She might be young and new but she is starting to think like Shinya and use that to her advantages.

Oh Ginoza....everyone is better than you. So sad. :(

Although I think her level of badassness was overdone at the crime scene. See she just outshined Ginoza because he is crazy. He assumed everything is Shinya's fault. It is like he has never been right in his entire life because he will die if he solves a case. So for him Akane walked in and was AMAZING. But really Akane actually knows Shinya and Shougo and can think the way they do now. Shinya actually thinks about strangers and sees how to solve the crime. Akane did go a great job though, while everyone else was like WHELP there is a dead guy on the floor what are we going to do. Akane stepped up and thought about things logically while Ginoza is still butthurt about Shinya leaving.

Akane was like we don't have time for this time to SEARCH the body.

Thanks to Akane being able to see the future and Shinya making sure to leave fail safes in place the gang in on their way to the ugly wheat farm thing. Shougo is already there wasting time though. Like he could have already messed with the system and been gone but NOOOO no baddie in history can do that. El sigh. With only a few episodes left me thinks someone is going to die next episode. Guess I will have to find out...in 5 seconds since there is another episode foe me to watch. XD

Psycho-Pass episode 19

Well then. WELL THEN! My plans of getting tons of blogging done today went up in smokes. Dramatic smokes. And not the kind that are signal fires. X____X My tiny quiet life seems to generate a lot of drama. Or what I think to be drama. Not trillions of dollars in debt, cheating husband kind of drama but still. RARW!

Eff you Dominators.

So instead of blogging I moped around the house until someone took me out for some retail therapy. Then I was delivered home in time to watch The Walking Dead. XD So....all you get is Psycho-Pass episode 19. I think I blogged it last Wednesday? Yeah I suck. :( Spoilers for a lot of talking.....talking all over the place.

Well.....that was sad yes?

Episode Summary: Shinya has taken off to Tomomi's old safe house. He looks around a bit, seeing a really cute picture of chibi Ginoza but has to take off on the motorcycle before people start waking up. He makes it to Mr. Saiga's house where he is greatly warmly to breakfast. And a bit of eye rolling at the arsenal Shinya has. Shinya is running on little sleep but gets some real coffee in him. Saiga and Shinya eat and talk about the Sybil system. They sprinkle in some stories that they obviously learn in high school while comparing the Sybil system to other things. When asked what Shougo would say Shinya thinks he would talk about prisons, how the most people are being tracked by the least amount of people. Shinya explains all that has happened and that the Sybil system will be back up and running in 5 days. So that means Shougo will have to do his grand finale within that time frame. Saiga gets on his magical computer and gives the audience a ton of information that was otherwise not available. Since it's inception of the Sybil System Japan has cut itself off from the rest of the world. But Saiga has found some websites and chat boards from people who have been wronged by the Sybil system. He planted a thread, asking how one would take down the Sybil system in 5 days time. Shinya is like is this real life but is told to think about WWSD. What would Shougo do? Shinya reads it all over and decides that crop one makes the most sense. Since Japan has cut itself off from the rest of the world it has had to make its own food for all its citizens. Most of the food comes from a single grain ground by robots. It has been engineered to a T but that means there is only one strain of this grain. If the crop went bad it would spread fast and Japan would be forced to open their gates up to allow foreign food in, people would sneak in the borders, and the general public would lose their minds over the fact that there is no food. After assuming all this nonsense Shinya and Saiga look up the expert on crops and figure Shougo will have to go find him. Shinya gets ready to leave again and Saiga says goodbye, saying that he will be a goner as helping with this case will surely throw off the next random scan. Shinya apologizes for getting Saiga in trouble but Saiga says Shougo is the real one in danger. Shougo and his gun take off in search of the crop master.

So basically your life sucks? Got it.

Meanwhile at headquarters Ginoza is pissed. He calls a team meeting and Akane shows up PISSED. Ginoza is like so....Shinya ran away and Akane is like yeah and what?!?!?! I am pretty sure Yayoi was like well at least I'm not dead yet. Ginoza explains that their task is to hunt down Shinya and to bring in Shinya. Akane is pissed that Shinya is on the death list while Shougo be taken in alive. Tomomi says they should just leave Shinya alone and let him bring them to Shougo. Akane is not having the best day ever and eventually makes it to Shion. Akane has herself a cry, thinking that Shinya will eventually become a killer or dead, both of which she wants to stop from happening. Upstairs Granny is having an argument with herself as the different brains converge. Seemingly Touma is in charge of the functioning Granny but the other brains tell him something that sparks his interest. Granny Touma says he will really have to look at the results before agreeing on what the collective has decided. Ginoza has to see the hue doctor and the news is not good. If Ginoza doesn't do something soon he will become a latent criminal at best. The doctor recommends immediate action but Ginoza is too busy laughing at the irony at the situation. He says that working with Akane gives him hope so he can manage himself out of this situation. His good mood doesn't last long as Daddy Tomomi tries to give him some more advice. This leads to shirt pulling and wall smashing. Tomomi thinks that going after Shinya will just lead to someone's death. Probably Shinya's. But if another team goes after him maybe it will work out. Ginoza thinks that if they are the ones that go after Shinya maybe they can talk him down and take him in alive. Tomomi is like did you change your name your name to Akane? Shinya is dead no matter if he comes in alive or if we shoot him ourselves. While Ginoza tries to not cry Akane is off being alone and probably crying. She is trying to figure out where Shinya is when a drone rolls up with a Dominator. When Akane picks it up the gun a voice says that it will now tell her the truth about everything. THE END!

Shougo has it rough. So very, very rough.

I am pretty sure that is the worse summary in the history of ever. I think it took me an hour to type that. Mainly because I am typing and watching something at the same time. I kept losing my train of thought and would have to go back and reread what I wrote. So basically I wrote exactly what happened. You're welcome, time to go home.

No friends for Shinya weeee!

But I guess we have to talk about the episode. I really didn't know where Shinya was going but when he showed up at Saiga's house it made a bit more sense. Of course by the end of this all Saiga mentions the fact that he will die because of this. That means three different people have helped Shinya out and could possibly die for Shinya's cause. They believe he can do the right/hard thing whereas they can only aid. They are willing to die for the cause. But maybe they could leave out the fact they are dying for the cause. I think Shinya already knows that and it is rubbing salt in the wound.

Yep. So much caring.

I am kinda disappointed of Yayoi. Like really disappointed. I know she has come across as very....cold and off putting this entire time but now two of her teammates are missing and one is in serious trouble. And one is Akane. So maybe she could stop acting like a robot and show some emotion. Not go oh...what should we do now? Maybe we will see some emotion when her singer friend turns up? I am not sure how she can at this point but if Yayoi dies there probably won't be many tears for her. I mean...you are already a latent criminal. Get a little upset, even if it's in private.

Akane was all over the place in this episode. I like that she was staging the world's smallest protest. Like yeah I know this is shit leave me alone. Akane got her little digs in too. Like OH so Shinya gets blown into Shuusei bits but we bring in Shougo alive, the guy who killed my friend and handed out murder helmets. Let me just stomp away and look pissed because this is the stupidest job ever.

Worse job ever.

But Akane has a softer side, unlike Yayoi. She goes to Shion and is able to tell someone her real feelings. A lot has gone on for this girl and she deserves to have a cry. But she has already lost one nonwork friend so she can't really go and cry to the one left. We haven't seen much of Shion so it was nice to see her show her softer side. Help the newbie out. Maybe Shion will live?

Um I am trying to keep you alive son. A little bit of appreciation please.

Where was I? Oh I was talking about who helped Shinya escape. Well Tomomi did just that and he got an earful from Ginoza. Working with family is fun. FUN FUN FUN! Add in that Tomomi is older and the father AND a better detective and Ginoza is hanging on by a thread. Tomomi didn't have as helpful advice this week. Either way Shinya is screwed. Ginoza is hoping that maybe he can talk Shinya into coming in instead of being blown away. Ginoza took some Akane pills though. I mean...the chief wanted to blow Shinya away for being a little sneaky. What is Granny going to do now that Shinya has actually broken the law? Yeah it isn't going to end in a jail cell but blood splatters. Ginoza was hoping a little bit too much but Tomomi was just as special. Let's just let it be. Let what be?! Either way this is bad and if this is your way of trying to calm Ginoza down well the wall does not agree.

That is the face of someone who has lost all hope. See the sad smile.

Ginoza is having it pretty rough though. Really rough. He has been acting all high and mighty the entire series despite being the second weakest member of the team (the first being newbie Akane). And maybe he is an asshole. Maybe this was his strategy to remove himself from the situation. Like nope gotta keep my hue nice and sparkly. But now he is in danger of being a latent criminal AND no one likes him. And it will be a whole lot of HAHA I told you so! The icing on the cake is that Ginoza really likes Shinya but hates that what happened to Shinya was avoidable (in his eyes) yes Ginoza is going to do the same thing. The same exact thing. The only difference is that Ginoza is probably going to die so ...you know.

Um...yes indeed. Apparently all my brain cells have left my body.

Now that we have covered all the other players...onward to Shinya. He and Saiga are so...boring. Yes I think the word is boring. More like they are talking about things I don't understand and it pisses me off. I mean I have read Hamlet and Gulliver Travels but that is about it. And I am willing to guess that most Japanese people don't know the titles/names of people that have been thrown around lately. Like hello stop trying to make me feel stupid by going over my head with all this nonsense. Craziness. Just eat your eggs!

Well then...why didn't I think of that?

After they got done talking about things I didn't know about they decided to change things up and start talking about things I couldn't know about. I mean I am happy to learn such things but part of the fun of shows is guessing where they are going next. I was wondering about why other countries didn't do this or how Japan could get away with it. But I would never have guessed that Shougo's plan was to take out the oats. THE OATS! I mean get me some anthrax and giant slugs up in here. How was I suppose to guess that?

Shinya and Saiga also used 4 chan to solve a crime didn't they? I mean it would be bad if Shougo was the one posting the answer but I guess I wouldn't put it pass him. Saiga and Shinya have decided that Shougo wants attention after being declared not human by the system. So maybe he did post to Shinya where to find him. Like xoxo love Shougo. Still Shinya and his buddy had some super human guessing going on in this episode. Once again civilization has gotten so advanced one tiny mistake will cause everything to tumble.

Sounds like someone is trying to take control of all the brains.

I think I have typed enough. I guess we will have to wait until next week to see what Granny and company were fighting about and who will die next and how much worse Ginoza's life will become. Me thinks that some people want to bring Shinya in alive while Touma Granny is like um no bueno. And Shinya...who cares if Shougo was not judged as a kid. Shoot his brains out please. Thanks. Then stop the system. XD Without all the riots and murder helmets.
