Noragami episode 11

Have Yato and Rabo faced off before? XO Is this a part two of their epic battle?

So....I got the bright idea to clean my keyboard. And by clean I mean take the keys off the keyboard to remove said cat hair. Yeah that wasn't smart. :( My husband is probably laughing at me. Heaven forbid I get one of those professional blower thingy things. No no, a function key flying in the air and a space bar that barely works is a lot better......I am slightly special. While I am at have a special post too. The long forgotten Noragami episode 11 post hurray! Spoilers for Yato having a real artist flair.

Episode Summary: In a time past Rabo and Yato are fighting, killing many in a horrible battle. They circle each other and...back in the present Rabo is having a great time killing more people with Nora at his side. Daikoku and Kofuku are casually hanging out in the living room when Yato and Yuki noisily return home. Daikoku is like when did this become THEIR home? Yato is freaking out while Yuki is calmly doing his homework. Yuki tells him to calm down but how can Yato do that when HIYORI FORGOT HIM!? A flashback shows that Yuki and Yato got to the temple to see Hiyori and Hiyori was like...who are you? That was only directed at Yato as she seems to know Yuki. At first Yato treats it as a great joke, like haha Happy New Year too. But Hiyori is all smiles and confused. So back at Kofuku's Yato is upset that this has happened. Yuki is like I am sure this is just temporary so calm down. The next day Hiyori agrees to meet with Yuki to give him more of her old books because doing so all at once would be silly. Yato tags along and has decided he is going to make her remember. Hiyori is polite to the crazy Yato despite the fact he is well...crazy. He then tries to tell Hiyori the story on how they met, with the cat Milord and everything. Hiyori is easily distracted by the word Lord and how excellent Yato's drawing of Milord is. Soon though Hiyori has enough of this nonsense and tries to leave. Yato goes to grab her and she feels something. Yato is very concerned and serious now, promising to get her memories back. Hiyori is like okay.....and walks away. Later that night though she thinks about serious and sad Yato was. Maybe she does know him....Yato is down for a while but then decides since Hiyori sorta reacted to the pictures he will make a larger picture book. Yuki is doubting this all but follows Yato to the store anyway when the god spends all of his money to buy better markers for his book. Yuki himself then starts to wonder how this all happened when Yato stops suddenly. There stands Nora holding a little glass marble. TADA it's Hiyori's memories. When Yato asks why she did this all she does is go on about how humans always let forgot gods even after they do favors and that Yato keeps getting hurt. If only he could be his true self....Before Yato starts getting weird Yuki snaps him out of his trance. Rabo appears and calls Nora as his weapon. TADA she is a sword too. Yato gets Yuki into action which means all the poor markers of the world fall on the ground.

But we just got Yuki back!

The battle goes on for quite a while with Yuki getting more and more beat up. Rabo seems very disappointed in Yato's state, that he is not letting loose his real power. Soon Yuki cannot continue and instead of finishing Yato off Nora reappears and says she will give back Hiyori's memories if Yato defeats Rabo. Then the two walk away. During this fight tons of Phantoms went crazy which made Bishomon suspicious. She sends over Kazuma to Kofuku's house while they are patching up a hurt Yuki. They inform him that it was this fight that set off the Phantoms. Daikoku and Kofuku have no idea who this Rabo is so Kazuma the great informs them of his nonamazingness. He used to be a human that would perform....misdeeds for others. And to keep the information of his misdeeds a secret his master killed him. His named was so feared and hated that they the people eventually made god of calamity. Because there is always a market for people wanting to wish horrible things. Yuki thinks this is dreadful while Daikoku is like is this Yato's old friend? Yuki is horrified that Yato may or may not be a god of calamity. Kofuku says that she told Hiyori this once and since the girl stuck around clearly things have changed for Yato. Yuki seems to calm down at this idea. Meanwhile Yato has left the house and gone to seen Tenjin. He wants to get Hiyori's memories back but he is worried that Yuki might die or become seriously injured in the process. Tenjin is like....remember how I said it might be better if Hiyori cut ties with you? She might return back to normal. Yuki runs off to find Yato to say he will help get Hiyori's memories. But by that time Yato has decided to listen to Tenjin and won't try anymore. Yuki returns back home to have a tantrum....then decides to finish the picture book himself. In class Hiyori is writing along when she sees a doddle in her book for her, Yuki, and Yato. So she did know him....Then Yuki contacts her about getting together after class. When they get together Yuki tells the dramatic story of how they came together, mostly with Yato's drawings. Yato gets pings, cursing that he Yuki contacted Hiyori after he told him to drop it. Yato decides he is touched instead of mad and goes in that direction when Nora stops him. As Yuki finishes up the story Hiyori claps and asks for the book. She says she can't remember Yato but maybe having the book will help. Then....she gives it back to Yuki, acting like he is a stranger and he dropped his book so she is returning it. Yuki freaks out and runs away upset while Nora clearly has taken Hiyori's memories of Yuki as well. That if Yato doesn't challenge Rabo soon Hiyori won't have any memories at all, she will just be shell. Yato finds Yuki and warns him things might be dangerous but Yuki through his tears are like PSHT I am brave. The next day Hiyori is getting ready to go out when Yato and Yuki both stop by to not be freaky or suspicious at all. They are like don't worry Hiyori, we will help get your memories back. When they go to leave Hiyori grabs them and her body falls on the ground, meaning her soul probably joined them to this upcoming battle. THE END!

:( Well then. I guess that one moment of happiness was fleeting. Poor Yato. Like is suffering indeed. No one got broken and beating down in this episode physically but mentally it looks like Yato is at his breaking point. And since the last three episodes have all been about MOG don't get blighty...I am slightly worried about Yuki.

Worst day ever!!!!

First things first. It looks like I wasn't completely right...about 734 weeks ago. So hard to remember. But yeah when Yato was freaking out and Yuki was casually doing his homework I was like um...why aren't they both freaking out? Why aren't they both crying in front of Kofuku and Daikoku about how Hiyori forgot them and life is horrible? WOE IS THEIR LIFE! So why is only Yato acting like this is the worst thing ever...in a comical way and Yuki is like meh it will be okay.

Wait you know me and not him?

Well Hiyori has only forgotten Yato. Which was a problem that plagued most of this episode. I mean we have memory issues over in another anime I am watching but the girl acknowledges that this isn't normal for her. She is hiding it from others but she knows something is wrong. Hiyori....just went through the episode all lalala. The major problem I had was the fact that Hiyori forgot Yato, not Yuki. How can she fill in the gaps about that? It makes sense WHY only those members were lost at first but it wasn't stated that new memories took their place. In fact as the episode went on Hiyori lost more and more of her memories. So at the beginning of this awfulness shouldn't Hiyori have been alarmed? How can she know Yuki without Yato? She should realize that this is wrong in her head. Forgetting Yato okay. But how does she know Yuki? Why isn't she asking herself that question? This episode really doesn't get deep into what is going on. Almost like oh she forgot, don't ask questions and put logic into the situation. Which I get this is a magical show with gods and Phantoms. Still logic applies in LOGICAL situations.

Poor sad Yato.

So anyway since Hiyori didn't forget Yuki Yuki wasn't falling over in the street with tears in his eyes. Everyone generally puts up with Yato having a fit as long as it doesn't lead to disaster. So that left Yato to be sad all on his own. Which...as I stated earlier wasn't actually SOBBING. He was being his normal over the top woe is me. That probably lead to him not getting that much sympathy. I think if he sat there in silence and acted stoic he would have gotten some concern. Putting that all aside...everyone was kinda an ass about it. Maybe because they were stealing dealing with Yuki's near departure in the being human like realm but I felt as if no cares were given. :( Like hello Hiyori wasn't there with us, it affects you too. In a “world” where tiny issues turn into major ones I am surprised that no one thought HMMMM what caused this?

Err....almost?

Since no one was really concerned on why Hiyori lost her memories no one was in a great hurry to get said memories back. Like oh I am sure they will come back soon even though no one knows what caused it. Yato put on a happy face and was his silly self with his first attempt to get Hiyori back her memories. This was obviously the first sign that something was wrong with Hiyori as she didn't immediately call the police of his crazy person. Even if she was friends with Yuki (for some unknown reason to her) and was loaning him books there was no reason for him to bring around this crazy person. I liked Yato's little flags, like he was a tour guiding taking them around town. Instead of important historical sites it was spots where Yato and Hiyori interacted. And I must say...if Yato wanted to make some actual money he could go into the art industry. What a good picture there folks. Hiyori sorta just smiled and nodded, like this was all for naught. It did get her thinking later on, mostly on how sad Yato looked. Not that Yato knew that.

You've gone soft on me Yato!

Still Yato went on. Maybe his determination is what started to change Yuki's mind about how serious this all was. Yuki might have made fun of Yato for spending all his money, his hard earned money, on the markers for a picture book for Hiyori but I think deep down Yuki was touched. Like wow Yato really does care, like he cares about me. So I sorta had the feels when Nora and her new friend Rabo came and started that fight. :( All the lovely markers ended up on the ground. Yato spent so much time earning that money and he used it all on Hiyori. I mean..I guess in the end the markers were okay as Yato did make his book but still. I was like noooooo! :(

Could you stop torturing me please? Why the obsession?!

So yeah Nora and Rabo. Nora stole Hiyori's memories. It seems that Nora.....despite being a treasure weapon for many gods really, really likes Yato. Wants to be his treasure weapon again. And that her plan to get rid of Yuki didn't work. So why not get rid of something else Yato has? Because that is how you make someone like you folks. Also what the hell is going on with Rabo? It is clear that Rabo and Yato were in the same business back in the day and maybe he is sad to see his former...friend in such a state. But he does he gain by helping Nora? Especially when Nora was like well I will give you back Hiyori's memories if you defeat Rabo. Rabo is like say what treasure weapon? But since Nora isn't playing with a full deck of cards I guess I shouldn't dwell on it.... Yuki and Yato got their asses kicked. All over the place. Poor Yuki. I am not sure how much more he can take before breaking into tiny pieces on the ground. 

Yuki was sent over to Kofuku's to get patched up while Yato went to see Tenjin. Well Yato missed out on a little impromptu meeting. It actually made sense and wasn't forced. Bishamon sensed a disturbance since Yato and Nora stirred up a bunch of Phantoms. Maybe the meeting was a little special given the people at it though? Not exactly one big happy family there....I like how Kazuma is the one who knows everything. I understand Yuki being left out in the loop but everyone else has been around long enough to know things right? Guess not. Anyway it was story time about Rabo, how he isn't from the Far Shore in terms of his godness. He was made into a legend due to how awful he was. He seems really cold, I will give them that. The part of the story that worried Yuki was the fact that Rabo and Yato used to work together. Like err I don't think I like this.....Good job Yuki recognizing this. But given how things have turned out I think the whole I will give Yuki divine punishment and I kill humans was just Yato trying to act tough. He has put that behind him and is a “good” god now. Plus if this was good enough for Hiyori it is good enough for Yuki apparently.

While all this walk down memory lane WHAT Yato might be a baddie Yato has gone out. To actually help Hiyori. I guess Tenjin is the oldest and the wisest among the group but it just seems odd that Yato has a house full of people who are powerful and might help. Maybe. Okay maybe not Bishamon. Anyway Yato just got his Yuki back and is concerned that another battle might end very badly. See that concern there? But Yato can't just sit by and do nothing for Hiyori. Onward to Tenjin. Who has the same advice as last time. Maybe Hiyori is better off not remembering Yato. OH THANKS! Thanks for the help. How about the fact that Nora is this crazy and went to see Hiyori? She will always be in danger. Yet Yato just focused on the protection part. Maybe Hiyori will be better off somehow. :( Taking the wind out of his sails. Which is sad as Yuki just took the I LOVE YATO pills. Who cares if you were the god of calamity. It is time to find Hiyori and make her remember right boss?! What do you mean no?! Err be careful on how much of a tantrum you throw there young Yuki.

Why can't Yato have a respectable jacket my gosh?

Thankfully Yuki was like FINE. You give up on Hiyori. I will pick up the slack. To be fair Yato had already put in a lot of effort in to helping Hiyori so he is allowed to have his moment. Yuki and the others didn't take what was happening to Hiyori as seriously before so time to step up. Hiyori really, really seemed off this episode. I know she lost her memories of Yato but still. Glad it got explained though. Like look at me, I am Yuki the great and I have a story to tell you. Then Hiyori just sat there all blah on the grass while Yuki put his heart and soul into reading Yato's manga out loud. Okay Yuki did one page. I think....the book might have worked. It helped that earlier in the day Hiyori had accidentally drawn Yato and Yuki on her notebook. The idea of them being friends was already planted. Yet....it didn't work. Hiyori asked for the notebook and poof she no longer remembered Yuki. Cue the tears.

She is taking all the memories!!!

What happened?! Obviously Nora happened. See she didn't just take Hiyori's memories of Yato. No no because that would actually make sense. She just wanted Yato away from Hiyori. So maybe he will come back to her one day. No Nora decided to force Yato into fighting her and Rabo so someone DIES. Because Hiyori is losing all her memories and will be just a walking shell soon if Yato doesn't act. Yeah this plan makes sense folks. In such a way that it doesn't. Nora is insane right? Haha now you have to fight me and get attention to save Hiyori. Yato is pissed but pulls himself together to find a crying Yuki who has failed with the manga. :( Both boys are pretty upset but are like...lets do this! Even if it's super dangerous. That is what men do, protect the princess right?!

Wait for me people I don't know!

The episode ends with Yato and Yuki being a little creepy. They are going off into battle to get Hiyori her memories back. Which is a good thing. I am not sure why they had to tell Hiyori herself as she no longer remembers either of them. I mean....did they want to freak her out? Like hey Hiyori you don't remember us but we are going to fix that. Don't you worry! Err I wasn't? The only reason this scene happened was to make Hiyori come with them on the trip. She is a curious person even if she is losing her memories. Let me just reach out and touch them so my soul can go along too. Yeah seems a little forced to get Hiyori at the final battle. Meh. I am sure it will all work out though...right?

Noragami episode 10

How about RUN?!

So in my quest to catch up with anime posts it appears that Noragami got picked up by an American distributor thus all the sites had to take down their downloads or something? LAME!!! :( So yeah no downloads, just direct sites had the last few episodes up. I do admit downloading episodes is so much better when it comes to screenies. Especially when there is a lot of action in said series. Sorry Noragami that I waited so long. But here is episode 10 anyway? Spoilers for things getting better so they inevitable can get worse again?

Everyone say AWWWWW!

Episode Summary: Yuki is super hard at work cleaning and making food at Kofuku's temple. Daikoku gives Yuki more chores to do and he does them happily. Daikoku comments on how Yuki has really turned things around, really acting repentant and doing great at his part time job to play back all the things he broke/stole. Yato cries happy tears at Yuki growing up and Yuki is like hey part of the reason why I have a job is because you suck at work. Yato pretends that isn't said. Hiyori shows up and Yuki is happy to see her. Daikoku pushes Yuki to ask his question, that he wants her old school books so he can study like everyone else. Both Yuki and Yato cry all over the place. Our Yuki is so grown up. Hiyori thanks everyone for their hard work on saving her friends and Kofuku is like you are welcome. Now where is my payment? Hiyori goes to give her 5 yen, like Yato accepts but Kofuku wants 5 million yen. Something like that. For one rescue. And since there is 2 boys she demands 10 million yen. Hmmm maybe it was 50 million yen each and when Yato gets her student discount it equals out to 1 million yen. Either way Hiyori has no money and is like Yato!!! You were supposed to fix me and now I owe all this money because of you. She demands he help and he acts like he can take care of her problems. Hiyori goes on to school where she and her friends make plans for New Year's Eve/Day. Her friend thinks gods are wishing machines but Hiyori knows better now. Both friends also talk about this new god that is all the rage. His name is Rabo and apparently if you chant something he will come and get rid of anyone you hate. Hiyori has never heard of him before. Elsewhere Yato is out doing things. He goes to visit Tenjin, to thank him for his assistance in the Yuki situation. Tenjin wants to know why Yato let things go that long. Well because Yuki is awesome...He just needed...some scarying. Oh okay. Yato says thanks in his own special way which frightens Yuki. They realize that one of Tenjin's treasures are missing and Tomone takes Yuki aside to explain the situation. She explains that what happened to Yuki is very contagious. It can spread around to other treasures. This girl got upset about something and she blighted Tenjin. Crying over something I don't know. But Tenjin has a policy, blight once and you are out. But he let her leave in such a way where she can become a treasure to someone else. Yuki starts to feel bad about the situation but Tomone says he shouldn't dwell on it or he will cause Yato problems again.

Just go with the flow......

Meanwhile Yato stayed back and talked to Tenjin about Hiyori's situation. She is suck in between worlds and he promised to help her despite...well not knowing anything. He wants Tenjin's help but that probably won't be happening since Tenjin has some interesting advice. He thinks that Hiyori's condition is worse because of her connection with Yato. All he has to do is severe their bond and Hiyori might be disconnected from this world and will be fully in the Near Shore. Simple as that as Yato stands in shock. Somewhere else in town Nora is talking to the creepy guy, the same one at the end of the last episode. Turns out he is this new god of calamity Rabo. She says that Yato is suffering and isn't as awesome anymore because of....Hiyori. Exactly. Rabo immediately wants to kill her but Nora has another plan for this little menace. Hiyori is getting ready for the fun that night, with her mom getting her all dressed lovely and what not. In the background a tv is playing talking about something important, surely news like. Hiyori isn't listening and is looking all lovely. She decides that she wants to ask Yato and Yuki to join her tonight. They were in the middle of an amazing job, cleaning out a dog house with heated floors but Yato says yes....after doing said job. Hiyori goes on ahead, meeting up with her friends who did not dress up for the occasion at all. One friend plans on wishing for everything but especially popularity. Hiyori mentions other friends joining them and they are like OHHHH Hiyori is in love!!! She denies it but goes on to pray with her friends. You know, not for her condition but all the new people she knows. As her friends make their way to food stalls Hiyori thinks she sees Yato so her soul runs after him while her body remains with her friends. She chases after him and realizes it is Nora. Hiyori is nervous but tries to be polite with the girl. Nora immediately starts calling Hiyori names, implying she is a Phantom and should stay away from Yato. Nora summons up some....Phantom friends that chase Hiyori around. She barely escapes in time. Or rather when she gets cornered the sun comes up and the Phantoms poof. Nora then walks up to Hiyori.........before the sun started to rise Yato and Yuki hurried to clean up the doggie cage. They run to meet Hiyori when Yato gets another message about a job...to kill a Phantom in the area. Wait the area they are standing in now. They turn around and see a giant little scorpion. Time to fight. WEEE Yato thinks he slays the beasts but then there are tons of critters around them. Yuki gets really worried but Yato reminds him of all the hard work and struggles they have gone through. That Yuki is the best weapon ever. Together Yato and Yuki defeat all the Phantoms and run off to Hiyori. Rabo emerges from the shadows, upset about the performance he just saw. Hiyori is just leaving the temple when Yato and Yuki run up, asking Hiyori to buy them noms. Hiyori is like....who are you? Both boys look shocked and THE END!!!

See all is right in the world....and then we blinked.

For 5 seconds everyone was okay. Rejoice the masses. Yuki was alive, Yato was alive, and it was New Year's Eve time. Bishamon who? Lets celebrate. Sh sh, the episode can't end on a sad note. Surely everything will be okay. Let us have this moment as everyone has been through a lot lately. No? We can't do that? Okay then...meanies...

So proud of our little Yuki!!!

For the past million episodes Yuki has been a brat. Sometimes I sympathized with him and other times I was like spare the rod and spoil the child. But he had a major wake up call last episode. I think growing devil wings and having the two people in the world who MIGHT be your friends act disappointed in you can do that. Because disappointment is worse than hatred sometimes. So while Yuki might not be totally respecting Yato and will make fun of his lack of fiances and temple...I think Yuki will behave from now on. No more blighting. Snide marks okay. On every other front though Yuki has made a complete turn around. Doing jobs and helping out to make money to pay back all the damage he caused. Our Yuki is all grown up and saving China. Exciting times.

Say what?!

Did everyone go AWWWW when Yuki asked Hiyori for her old books. Just...sniff sniff. No for real when you hear about 3rd world countries and all those kids want to do is go to school...tugs at my heart strings. Just like the poor animal shelter commercials. Kids here hate school but where there is no school kids just want to go. Same with Yuki. He wants to do what he can't and it makes Hiyori all sniffy sad. Yato too but I am sure he will get yelled at for existing. This awww moment is ruined by Kofuku asking Hiyori for 10 million yen. You move the decimal 10 spaces back and it is in dollars yes? So that is 100,000 dollars after Yato gets the price down to 1 million. I believe that is what was said. Whatever the case is it was a lot of money, if it was 1 million, 100,000, or 10,000 dollars. Hiyori might be a rich girl but I am going to assume that is a lot of pocket case right there. A lot. X___X I mean Yuki and Yato were the ones who were saved, they need to cough up the cash. But Hiyori is the one who asked for the favor. The ambulance ride is the for the injured person, not the person who called the ambulance. I call shenanigans. Either way it is hard to tell if Kofuku is serious. Yato should be a more popular god since his wishes only cost 5 yen. :( Only now that the topic of money has been brought up does Hiyori realize...HEY I paid you to fix me. Now get to fixing!!!!

Just so casual X___X

Since that isn't possible Yato and Yuki go to visit Tenjin. Which is nice, they should go and apologize/thank the man for loaning out one of his ladies. It might have been nicer had Yato gone to say thanks on his own rather than going because he also had a favor to ask. I think that minor social infraction might have been forgotten as Yato's apology was somewhat lacking. Even Yuki was like errr....this is how you say sorry? I guess the two go way back. After putting that aside Yato does ask how he can help Tenjin since Tenjin is slightly awesomer than Yato. I found this answer rather odd. I mean Tenjin does have feelings right. He does know that Hiyori means something to Yuki and Yato. She put herself in danger to save both of them. So why would the first thing he suggest to Yato be to cut his ties with the girl. That means no more memories, not more us/them. I mean...Tenjin didn't go on and on about if you love someone let them go. It was more like well just do this bye. Thanks for the help hommie. I am sure this will end well.

Clearly this is blight worthy. HOW DARE YOU CRY ABOUT BEING DEAD!

While Yato was off getting that bad news Yuki was getting his own. Thanks for saving me Tomone as I offer up an actual apology. By the way I counted and I noticed one of Tenjin's treasures are missing what is up with that. Well....Tomone decided to unleash the truth on the boy. Like um you know...it was pretty serious what happened to you. It is actually contagious and other treasures can start blighting their masters and get sent away. But not start worrying about this being all your fault or you will blight Yato again. X___X Like hot damn folks. I know that Yuki has messed up but this is taking things too far. People, spirits or living, are allowed to feel upset. I mean...are they supposed to run around like emotionless robots? I am pretty sure that Daikoku went and threatened Yato a bit and nothing bad happened. No one messed up because of him. Tomone was certainly disrespectful of Yato. So I am not sure how Yuki being upset about being dead made another girl blight her master. It didn't even seem like a huge issue either. Just that the girl was feeling upset unless I have totally misunderstood the whole situation. One mess up and you are gone? That seems harsh. Tenjin should be more forgiving. I guess he let her go on to be a treasure for someone else but that seems too much. One strike and peace out. I like how Tomone tells Yuki this is all his fault but not to worry about it. Like oh okay let me get right on that....

Yeah.....how about you pray for your family's health instead.

So while Yuki and Yato are getting this amazing news, that blight is contagious/forgiveness is hard for Tenjin and that Hiyori would be better off without either of them...Nora is in town being creepy with Rabo. He is the same Rabo that was mentioned earlier in the episode by Hiyori's friends. See gods can be fads too in Japan. Going to this mall, buying this charm, and praying to this god...yeah all fads. So you pray to Rabo and things happen to the people you hate. Awful things. Sounds just like the person I want to pray to. I don't know about everyone else but I pray for positive things to happen to myself and others. If I want bad things to happen I wish it outloud. I would kinda feel weird PRAYING for that. Hiyori thought it was kinda weird too. So it is not a shocker the guy Nora woke up (Rabo) is behind this all. Almost like Nora made him popular to get Yato's attention maybe? Yato is a hard working dude and Rabo gets instant fame. Not fair at all dude. It seems that Nora wants Yato all to herself while Rabo is upset that Yato isn't his awesome competition anymore? And when someone isn't your awesome competition anymore clearly they don't deserve to live.

New Year's Resolution: Make Yato fix her.

So despite the almost death of Yuki, the suggestion by Tenjin, and Tomone not being a happy ray of sunshine.....life must go on. That is what Yato wants Yuki to do right? Wants him to live as a human. So lets do human things. It is New Year's Eve. Time for special things to occur in in Japan. Lets put the past behind us and look forward to a new year. Hiyori will get cured. Yuki will get this treasure thing underway. And Yato will finally make enough to afford to shingles on his future temple. All will be well. The boys will both blush at Hiyori looking lovely in her kimono but since everything is so light and airy now there will be no sexual tension. Because that would be bad. Friends forever yay.

At least Yuki and Yato are okay now.

Of course that didn't happen. Why would that happen? No there must be suffering. The boys are held up for a very long time due to two jobs. Now since Hiyori called at the last minute about this shrine/temple visit the boys couldn't make it right away. They had to attend to their first job which was super important....you know involving a dog and what not. Money is money and Yato is trying to show Yuki the right way to be. So needless to say they boys were running to be on time ANYWAY. I would have thought this would have given Nora enough time to do what she needed to do to Hiyori but more time was needed. Thus Rabo came and opened up a can of whoop-ass on the boys. Well more like an actual can of Phantoms. Now this was a distraction as well as a way to test Yato. Since Rabo thinks highly of Yato for some reason he wanted to see if his old....acquaintance still had it. Also it gave the viewers a chance to see Yato and Yuki work as a team again. To see if all the tears in the last episode were worth it, that they meant something. They did. Go team! But I don't know if Rabo was impressed....

And you are telling me this...because....?

So while Yuki and Yato are bonding Hiyori was at the temple/shrine with her less than enthusiastic friends. She was all dressed up and they were rather...bleh. But she was going to make the best of it. Fun is fun. Even if she is a half Phantom with a boatload of problems and new special friends. Time to party. Only Nora was there to ruin the fun. She hates Yuki and Hiyori for taking Yato away from her so...time for the suffering. Hiyori is still under the delusional impression everything is awesome because she saw the Lego Movie about a million times. Can't we work this out? Um no. This bitch is trying to kill you. While smiling. And calling it a game. The only thing that saved Hiyori was the sun. Curses. Next time I will get you my pretty. And your little tail too. Now surely Hiyori will open her mouth and tell Yato about this, even if Nora and him have a past right?

That's a slight bummer there....

Well...i guess we will never know that. Once Yuki and Yato were finished with their impromptu Phantom slaying they raced to the temple to find Hiyori. Because you know she parties at temples all night long. They think she is going to buy them some treats and all will be well. Friends forever. Now...it might have looked like Nora had not harmed Hiyori but clearly something has happened to Hiyori. You know...because she has no idea who Yato and Yuki are. I doubt that Tenjin cut the ties, just suggested it to Yato. So this leaves Nora to “help” Yato by getting rid of the baggage she thinks is Hiyori. The boys are obviously upset that Hiyori doesn't know they are but what will they do about it? I am sure episode 11 will be Yuki crying and wanting Hiyori back while Yato thinks....is it better for Hiyori this way? HMMM guess I will find out next time.

Noragami episode 9

You better help us or we won't be friends anymore!

I can't even remember when I started typing this post. X___X It seems so long ago. I think it was the last Saturday I worked at my job. Yeah that long ago. Woe is my poor behind self. COUGH COUGH. But yes I still like all the series I started watching a while back so I can't just give up. So without spoilery adieu here is Noragami episode 9. Spoilers for Yuki reaching rock bottom and nearly falling into lava.

A sad little treasure named Yuki that's who.

Episode Summary: Recapping the last few moments of the previous episode....things suck. Yuki had a breakdown which lead Yato to getting blighted all over. Hiyori took them all to Daikoku and Kofuku's place only to have Daikoku put a barrier up. Hiyori is beyond upset as Yato needs help. He looks really bad. Daikoku allows in while Yato splats on the ground and Yuki is told not to move an inch. Hiyori is taken inside so she can use purified water on herself. She is told it is too late for Yato to use such a measure and it might be best if Yuki just died. Hiyori is like noooo poor Yuki. She knows Yato wouldn't have put himself through so much pain if he had wanted Yuki dead. Daikoku is pretty upset about the issue but agrees to help. He lowers the barrier so he can leave to find two other treasures to perform a ceremony on Yuki. Hiyori finishes getting cleansed and waits with Kofuku all worried like. Basically this ceremony needs other treasures as they were once human and can judge each other's sins. However this ceremony can be dangerous and people might not want to help. Case in point Daikoku goes to Tenjin since he has 15 treasures laying around. All of them gossip about possibly being killed off if the ceremony goes wrong. Tomone (who has a different name now but whatever) volunteers as tribute but no one else steps up. Daikoku visits shrine after shrine but no one wants to help since Yato is basically unknown and this is a suicide mission. Daikoku calls Kofuku with the less than stellar news and she gets super upset. Hiyori hears this all and takes off despite it being dangerous. And yes Yato is still on the ground dying and Yuki hasn't moved. Hiyori jumps around the city desperately trying to find help. She knows Nora will help but her solution would involve killing Yuki. So Hiyori goes to the first person who suggested killing Yato, Kazuma. Well really Bishamon's shrine. She starts screaming his name for help. Elsewhere Bishamon gets a ping while she is in a meeting (where it is daytime...) and Kazuma is given a message by someone that a girl is screaming his name. He ignores said message.

Yes. "Help". Lets think of a new plan now okay?

Daikoku and Tomone return but since there is only two treasures all hope is lost. Woe is the dying Yato. Yuki acts like he is going to leave and Daikoku yells at him, saying this is all this fault and Yuki needs to take responsibility. Suddenly Hiyori reappears with Kazuma. Tada he came even though Bishamon hates Yato. Favors are important ya'll. Basically Yuki is told he has to confess his sins or else. The three other treasures surround him and do a little chant and a barrier triangle engulfs him. Diakoku asks Yuki what his sins are and Yuki basically says he has done nothing wrong. Ever. That everyone needs to stop picking on him. Yuki is asked to take off his shirt and when he does it is revealed he has a Phantom growing on him. More like he is becoming a Phantom himself. Yuki freaks out and basically says nothing is his fault. The three make the barrier smaller when Yuki starts bashing himself on it. Yuki starts turning more and more into a Phantom, even growing some wings and flying around. Hiyori tries to stop this all but Kofuku says this is the only way. Yuki starts crying angry tears about how he didn't do anything and everything is unfair. He just wants what all the living have, friends. Opportunities. A future. He has nothing and Yuki's name starts to be consumed. Seeing that there is no hope it is suggested that they kill Yuki or Yato needs to rid himself of the boy. Yato thinks he can calm Yuki if he could just say his name but he is struggling to breath without coughing up blood. Yuki enters this state of awful, thinking about all the things he has done and how he doesn't care, Nora said it all, he was worthless so why bother trying. Yuki starts to “walk off” into the unknown when Hiyori starts screaming Yuki better apologize and make Yato better. That Yato really believed in Yuki and used words that a father would use on his son. If Yuki doesn't make it better she and him will no longer be friends. Yuki stops at the word friends. Yato manages to speak, saying he knows Yuki is upset that he's dead and can't be with the living but he will be with him. Just...sadness. Yato believes in him. Yuki starts sobbing and apologizes for all his sins causing him to de-Phantomize and Yato to not die. All the tears forever. Later though they look like shit. At least they are alive. Yato makes Yuki bow and give Hiyori forgiveness and thanks. Yato thinks to himself how Hiyori really saved the day and risked her life to help them both. Hiyori cries and hugs them both, happy they are still alive. Yuki and Daikoku cry, everyone is a big happy family. Well not Nora who is off somewhere being creepy and sad that Yuki wasn't Phantom food. But she has woken up a strange man and won't he be happy to see Yato again? Right strange man? THE END!!

I believe in you Yuki!!!!

XO Alls well that ends well I suppose. Maybe I need to break down that sentence as I have heard that saying before but really never thought about it. Like things ended well but the stuff that happened before it was awful. But since it ended well we should be happy about it? Not so sure about that. I mean I guess people are happy for great endings but all the stuff in between can't be forgotten. Unless you are in a Disney movie. I was locked in a tower for 18 years but I am totally fine now. BEST DAY EVER!

This doesn't look promising...

So when we last saw people who are gods, dead, or otherwise not human...things were not looking so good. Yato was practically dead on the ground, Yuki is to blame, and Hiyori just got the big middle finger from Daikoku when she went to see Kofuku for help. I think that was a bit dramatic. Yes Hiyori was all blighty. But I don't think Hiyori or Yato were going to run up and give Kofuku a hug. Plus Hiyori was able to wash hers off later. So.....I think Kofuku was going to be safe. I think if Daikoku had just ordered them to stop they would have. But that wouldn't have been as dramatic or caused hurt feelings. No no we need to make sure everyone is on edge and to make this situation as awful as possible.

How can a god die....

Hiyori was eventually allowed to go inside and get the blight off via purified water. Since she just touched Yato and it was on briefly. The sin wasn't really in her. Yuki...well he was another story. Sometimes I think Yato does things the hard way. Sure Yuki is slicing through things great and mastering his new abilities with ease. However if Yato was that hurt....maybe he could have let him go. Like okay I release you like I did Tomone. Unless the blight was going to stay on there forever either way. But still Yato could have really explained the situation to Yuki before things got that bad. Because despite not respecting Yato and really focusing on his own pain I don't think Yuki wanted Yato dead. Now Yato is unable to do anything and has to depend on other people to save Yuki. Or kill him. And since Yato can't do anything like breath or lift his head he really can't stop him. So maybe next time Yato could be doing some splain.

err....whatever your name is...

The easiest solution would be to kill Yuki. Hiyori doesn't want that because hello Yato doesn't want that. While Daikoku might have feared the blight on Kofuku he seems to know and like Yato enough to want to help. With Kofuku's okay. Well orders. Off he goes to find more treasures. I thought this was going to get resolved by Yuki turning into a treasure herself. A half treasure anyway. And she was going to be so amazing at it despite being a halfer all would be well. Instead Daikoku had to go out and look for two other treasures to help with the cause. Since gods don't really operate under our moral system they can't judge treasures. You know, even though words like divine punishment are always getting thrown around. Daikoku was able to find one treasure to help him. His old pal Tomone. The reason no one else really wants to help is the ceremony is dangerous. There are rumors that if you help and things go wrong you can get eaten by a Phantom. Yeah that might deter some folks. Plus Yato is not that well known so who wants to stick their name out for a barely known god and a braty treasure? Not I said the frog.

Remorse is hard.

So Daikoku was very unsuccessful in finding enough treasures to help Yato. I am not sure why Kofuku needed to stay if she was afraid to touch Yuki or Yato and Hiyori was okay. Couldn't Kofuku gone out and asked for some favors? I mean I guess that would be pretty shitty. Look at me I am your master and my friend needs a favor and it might cost you your life go do it. I know only treasures could do the ceremony but maybe Kofuku could have asked. But she didn't. She remained at the house while Yato just...laid there on the ground looking awful. Yuki can you muster up some tears? A mumbled I am sorry? You know you did it. You might not like the guy but hot damn. Yuki didn't know what was about to happen to him so he could have oh I don't know tried to help. At least get Yato a pillow and some water. Just weird him standing there not accepting any responsibility. At least have some angry tears left over from the incident at the school. I wonder what would happen to a treasure if their master died. Would they die too? Not that Yuki would know since he isn't told much by Yato. That might have gotten some pep into Yuki's step to help out. I am assuming thought since nothing was said if Yato dies Yuki is a free agent again and perhaps people were wondering if that is why Yuki was doing nothing...so he could get rid of Yato. XO I hope that is not how he really felt. He could have a fleeting moment of that but no serious thoughts. Yuki is a sad kid, not sorta murderer.

I know this is super dangerous but come help me

So while Daikoku is out failing and Kofuku and Yuki are doing a whole lot of nothing Hiyori is the one running around trying to fix things. One could argue and really should argue that Hiyori is pretty lucky. This could have ended very badly for her. Probably should have ended badly for her. She doesn't know too many people in this messed up world of Phantoms, gods, and treasure weapons. And if the people who like (sorta) Yato aren't really willing to help (touch him) why would going to someone who actively tried to kill Yato end any better? Now granted Hiyori didn't want Bishamon's help but Kazuma. But yeah...Kazuma belongs to Bishamon so this very, very risky. Yato might have died trying to rescue Hiyori if things went that south.

Yeah...that was super helpful....

But given that things are magical and usually end up positive when someone good is trying to help out (like a Disney movie) Kazuma is able to sneak away and help Yato and not get Hiyori killed at the same time. Add in Daikoku and his one helper Tomone and we got the three treasures ready to judge Yuki and save Yato. Surely this will end well. Or....or..not. I mean....this doesn't seem like a procedure one does if the treasure in question is being an asshole. It looks like something that could be done if the treasure was remorseful but had sinned really badly and hurt the master to this point. So I guess when one thinks about it it doesn't make any sense at all. If Yuki gave any damns he would have been helping. I don't see how putting three other treasures at risk for someone not sorry at all is going to help. In fact “hurting” Yuki made him more upset and more Phantom like faster. I think this whole ceremony was doomed to fail from the getgo. No wonder no one really wants to help.

:( Yuki needs a hug.

When things started to get hairy...Yuki did get a little ugly. Like I said he was a brat. Most kids that age are brats. But sometimes I stop and think...okay he has reason to be like this. He is DEAD after all. At a young age. He does have a right to be resentful. And Yato is basically making him his slave. With no real income to take care of said slave. And Phantoms are scary. Add in the fact that Yuki is still young at heart thus has “feelings” about the opposite sex and wants to have a high school life/friends too...I get the rage sometimes. Some of these sins are just way too...much to be fair. I feel as if he is getting extra punished. Like Yato can be as lecherous as he wants but not Yuki. So instead of helping Yuki confess his demons Yuki got pushed further to the edge and into Phantom territory. Like screw this, what is the point?

Everyone go BAWWWWW now.

In the end none of this really matters. What gets to Yuki is Hiyori going on and on about Yato trying to help Yuki. I think some of what saved Yuki was the fact that Hiyori was also trying to help him out when I think more of the focus should have been on Yato. Yes Hiyori was trying to help too but Yato was the one taking on all the pain of these sins. Trying to give Yuki chance after chance. Of course Yato could have saved all this pain and suffering had he opened his mouth and talked to the boy more. Yuki clearly wasn't going to work this out for himself at this point. No no Yuki needed to feel love. Tough love! Yato seems to have more than made up for it now. I mean I know that Yato is in charge but all these two boys really want are friends right? Well be friends with each other. Bring those boys together Hiyori.

Who wants to know?

Everything manages to wrap up in a nice bow. Yuki cries these big baby tears and Yuki doesn't die. Yuki doesn't become a Phantom which is a bit sad since he loses the amazing wings. And now that Yuki and Yato have each other...they can focus on the fact that Hiyori really, really had their back. That all she wanted was to be healed from this affliction but has focused on them instead. They are lucky to have her. Cry some more tears boys. Ya'll probably don't deserve her. Or you can cry because Nora is in the background looking a bit creepy there....You know, because other people being happy isn't good for her. She wanted to save Yato by making it rain in Yuki's blood. Looks like she has enlisted some help in this creepy department. What will happen to Yato and Yuki next? Probably something bad despite them just having a moment. Le sigh.

Noragami episode 8

Post number 3 of forever agoness. I see that the lists for Spring Anime 2014 have been long posted and all the shows I was watching have ended. Err. I guess I better get my butt in gear right? So up now is Noragami episode 8. Spoilers for Hiyori not being safe anywhere and windows fearing for their life.

Words

Episode Summary: Hiyori is at the bathroom at school feeling sad . She recaps all the :( that has occurred the last few days. Yato's blight, Yuki is a thief, and Kazuma saying if Yuki doesn't die Yato will. What will Hiyori do? Well she will probably look over and see Yato and Yuki both in the bathroom with her. After she beats them (Yato more) she demands an explanation. Yato explains he has a case. A case in the bathroom? Yato kicks down a door and reveals a young man hiding. Hiyori beats him too and then asks for answers. The underclassmen Manabu is being bullied and this was the only place to hide. In fact he called Yato to end the bullying. Hiyori immediately apologizes and Yuki gets all frowny face while Manabu explained his story of woe. Yato tells Yuki that he (Yuki) shouldn't hate someone for being like him. Yuki gets pissed at being compared to Manabu and runs off pissed. Yato seems use to bullying cases and handles Manabu better. He hands Manabu something and whispers in his ear how to fix this problem. Manabu has wide eyes while Hiyori looks worried. Yuki ran off to Manabu's classroom where everyone left for a break or something. Yuki puts on a random jacket and wonders if he went to school. He sees all the activities on the board and what not, getting sad. He even goes through the motions of being in a classroom and solves a problem on his own. He hides when the students return and watches them interact. Soon he picks up on the concept of friends and realizes he doesn't have any. At the same time Manabu returns to the classroom and finds his jacket in the trash. He also has no friends. In the hallway Yato tells Hiyori one of the two boys will snap today. Feeling awful Yato disappears to lay down while Hiyori worries. Somewhere else Kofuku and Diakoku are chillin in their house when Bishamon arrives with all her treasure weapons. Kofuku greets her warmly as Kazuma explains they have destroyed all the Phantoms from the opened Vent and they need her to divinely select where the next ones will open up. Kofuku sets to work and Kazuma comments that she has picked a lot of vents. Bishamon asks if Kofuku is opening vents on purpose so Bishamon can't kill Yato. You know, due to being busy. Kofuku gets all scary and says Bishamon's past is with Yato but she won't let Yato be hurt now. Bishamon nods and goes on her way while Diakoku has a hard on because Kofuku is so awesome.

How does that even make sense?!

Back at the school Hiyori finds Yato in the nurse's room napping. She tries to look under her clothes to see if he has more blight but he wakes up. This makes him a pervert of course. Yato starts talking about how Yuki and Manabu are at delicate ages and it could go either way for both. Outside Manabu has found the main bully. In the classroom earlier some Phantoms were whispering kill or kill yourself. End this. Well now those Phantoms have gotten bigger and Manabu seems to be under their control. The bully sees Manabu and starts to taunt him but stops when he sees the creepy expression on his face. Thing don't get any better for the bully when Manabu tosses him a box cutter. Yato had given him two box cutter earlier, saying his opponent should have one if Manabu decided to cross the line and lose his humanity. Manabu inches closer to the bully muttering about crossing the line with the Phantoms getting bigger and bigger. Manabu stops in front of the bully, throws down the box cutter, and stares. The bully pees himself and runs away as Hiyori runs up. Yato jumps down from a ledge, saying he was going to throw some purified water down if things got messy. Manabu said he couldn't do it because then he really would have no where to belong. Yato tells Manabu he doesn't need a million friends, just one really good one. Manabu runs off and Yato wishes he had a friend. Meanwhile Yuki has been sitting by himself, watching all the kids go home with their friends. He wants to be like them, not stuck with Yato forever with shitty jobs. He tries to get their attention but they all leave. Heartbroken that he has no friends Yuki picks up a baseball bat and breaks every single piece of glass he can find. Students feel the raining shards. Yato passes out and Hiyori sees how super bad the blight is. She even gets infected herself when she touches him. She remembers what Yato said, that if something happens to him go to Kofuku's. So Hiyori starts dragging Yato and runs into pissed off Yuki. She informs Yuki that Yato has been suffering all this time because of his sins. She demands that Yuki goes with them. When they reach Kofuku's house Hiyori is also covered in blight. When Kofuku and Diakoku answer the door Diakoku immediately throws out a barrier, blocking them out. THE END!

It wasn't crossed as much as it was shattered on the ground into a million pieces.

It feels like 19 million years since I have watched/blogged this show. Thank goodness for Hiyori's little recap. Haha, is there going to be a golden week for no new anime shows so I can catch up? At this point I will never catch up otherwise. Stupid Olympics. Haven't even see the closing ceremonies yet. Of course that is Disney's fault.....Really can't say stupid Disney though or an imaginary mouse will strike me with lightening....

So anyway Hiyori was having a serious moment to herself. In her ugly school uniform by herself in the bathroom. I am sure that is how most uniforms look in Japan, not amazing and super form fitting. Maybe I will call it her realistic uniform....So yes recap, Yuki sins, Yato suffers, and Kazuma suggests death. More like predicts someone's death. Oh and Bishamon is still out there on the we hate Yato train. So a lot on Hiyori's plate. None of which is her becoming cured. You know, the reason why she is still around Yato and all? Yeah she is too busy caring about other people to care about her issue, rather....important issue. Of course Hiyori isn't about bashing these people in the face when she finds them in the girl's bathroom. She isn't that special.

Did I mention my problem was being bullied.....

After Yato was nearly killed it was case time. Because Yato is amazing and gets summoned wherever he gets a job. Of course Yuki made a good point, why are you leaving your number on the girl's bathroom wall? So that means the client is a girl no? Um no. No no. Another boy for Hiyori to beat. Although Yato got beat more. Because I am sure that is what Manabu needs. I am being bullied so when I call for help I get beat up some more. Poor Manabu. Hiyori apologized though...and he was in the girl's bathroom. He could have been a perv and bullied at the same time.

Can't kids find other things to do besides pick on each other?

So Manabu is being beat up. Well tormented. I am not sure what is worse. Since I am not a girl we never really threw down. I know some girls do but boys here in the United States will thrown down rather than pull cruel pranks. I don't know if that is better? At least when you get beat up you know what to expect. If they are doing other things to you you might be living in constant fear. I don't think it matters the gender. Being bullied sucks. I know there is a lot of fluffy nonsense going around that bullies were once bullied and are just having a poor outlet for their pain. Um no. Not a fan of that way of thinking. Victims shouldn't make other victims. And bullying can happen to anyone. I am sure someone wants to be Manabe's friend but maybe they are afraid of being bullied themselves. Calling for Yato might have been slightly dramatic though. These schools have principals you know....silly adults lacking in animes.

:( I just want to go to school and have homework and complain with friends.

Since Yuki is angry at the world he thought this case was stupid. I am sure he would think anything is stupid at this point. Yato probably pushed a little too much with the oh you hate someone for being like you comment. Like of course Yato was right but he should have asked Yuki to wait outside if he couldn't be nice to the bullied kid, not...driven Yuki down more blight filled paths. It was sad watching Yuki in the classroom though. I am sure when you are in high school it seems like such a drag. But for Yuki....did he make it that far? And even if he did he clearly didn't finish. So all these kids are taking advantage of what he can't have. Yuki acting out things and pretending to be part of this case.....just sad. :( Then all the kids poured in and Yuki realized....he had no friends. Not being in school I think he could get over. But making high school friends.....yeah that is sad.

Such creepy little Phantoms.

In the same classroom Manabu was not having a great time. Instead of going to yell at the bullies like I think Manabu wanted Yato gave the kid something. You know, the whole give a man a fish thing. I thought he gave the kid a knife. X__X Anyway after talking with Yato Manabu made his way back to the classroom to find his jacket in the trash. Yeah these bullies are assholes. Don't know when to give up. So while Yuki was wishing to have friends Manabu was toying with what to do. Does he listen to the creepy Phantoms talking to him? Kill him. Take the precious. I like how the Phantoms didn't care who died as long as someone is miserable. Kill them. Kill yourself. Just kill something. At least they are....consistent in their hatred for all.

Bishamon trying to be scary...it didn't work.

During all of this there is a brief scene with Bishamon and Kofuku. And all their treasures. I say all but Kofuku seems to only have Daikoku and Bishamon has like 469343. Maybe that is because she actually goes out and does the fighting? Anyway Bishamon has killed all the Phantoms from Kofuku's last special moment and needs the location of where future vents could pop up. Got to protect the humans if you want to have worshipers. There are other treasures there but Kazuma is the only one who really matters. He and Bishamon seem to think that Kofuku has picked a lot of locations to where future vents might pop up and is she doing that on purpose so they can't find and kill Yato? While Kofuku was happy to see Bishamon mentioning Yato sent her into a crazy mood. Like I won't get involved in your drama (but she did) but if you hurt Yato I will put my scary eyes in and everyone will run in fear. It seemed to work on Bishamon...for now. I think Kofuku will have to pick sides later down the road because the hatred is real for Bishamon. For now she can get away with her threats and looking cool in front of Daikoku but a line will be drawn soon I am sure.

Big perverted Yato!

Being a girl means you can do something questionable and blame it on someone else out of embarrassment and if said thing happens to a boy well he isn't supposed to question a lie. Case in point Hiyori finds Yato laying in the clinic and decides to check out his blight. Now she wasn't being perverted herself but it looks that way and accuses Yato of doing that even though it was her.....Oh Hiyori. Anyway this is a perfect time for Yato to talk about what he decided to do for Manabu. Because at this point I was wondering too. Like I don't see you beating up an bullies. Since we were told that gods have no or a different set of morals it is hard understand what Yato is thinking in that regards. But like Yuki Yato seems to want Manabu to do this for himself rather than the issue being solved by him. Because Yato can't keep rescuing them. Sooner or later they will have to face their demons.

Bullies aren't that tough when they are alone.

Of course Yato does want to get paid so he had to give Manabu something. Two somethings actually. Okay now that I think about it I think Manabu got at least 3 somethings. Two boxcutters and some courage. Because bullies are only brave in a pack. Without a weapon Manabu would never have confronted anyone. He could have gotten one himself but that probably never dawned on him. Never thought he could do it. Now with Yato giving him the weapons and the Phantoms breathing down his neck Manabu went to face his demons. Well....I don't know how I feel about this. I think that if Manabu had simply beat up the bully that would have been okay. Like quit messing with me! Stood up for himself. Sometimes that will stop the bullying, just showing you are strong and aren't going to take it. But Yato seems to think giving Manabu boxcutters and crossing the line would make Manabu a monster with no place in the world. Of course killing the kid would be overkill. Beating him up would not be. It is almost like Yato wanted Manabu to hurry up and go over the edge or MAYBE go over the edge. Like get this over with, pick a side instead of remaining in the middle. Or Yato is just amazing and knew if Manabu just scared the boy shitless it would stop the bullying and Manabu would realize he didn't want to be like those kids. WAI THE TEARS! Seriously boxcutters.....at least it wasn't a gun. Stupid Phantoms hanging all over people being creepy.

Yato and Hiyori watched this go down and I think she had respect for Yato. He might seem like a screw up half the time but he does know what he is doing. And cares for people despite....you know being Yato. Maybe that is because he can relate to Manabu? Which I think is odd because Kofuku is his friend right?Maybe even Tenjin? Or maybe Yato doesn't understand the world friend since he is from the Far Shore. In any event he wants a friend and Hiyori is right there so....something bad has to happen to ruin the moment right?

And by snapping I mean he broke every single piece of glass ever.

Yes. Of course. The bad thing this time would be Yuki losing his mind. Manabu was getting bullied. But with one good friend his life could get turned around. Yuki is dead. Real dead I think, not wandering soul and all of this will get fixed in the end. He won't go to high school again. He won't have a family again. He won't get married and have kids. He won't complain about homework to his friends while walking home from school. Nothing. So watching all of that happen around him and there was no one to listen to his screams...yeah he snapped. Snapped all over the place. Over ever single window ever. Now I do know what he did was wrong but I feel bad for him. I think the last time I blogged this show I called him a brat. Well he was being a brat stealing from a charity and a store when Chisaki offered to buy him what he needed. In this episode I see why he did what he did. He was overwhelmed. Mean to Manabu of course but overwhelmed. It seems as if Yuki is a newly dead or Yato brought him back from the world of unconscious. That Yuki was floating around all this time being dead and hadn't thought about his situation. So all of this is new to him. He hasn't had time to deal with it. If people don't deal with things probably they are likely to explode. Do horrible things. I don't know if I am trying to excuse away him behavior...which I shouldn't. Yuki could have really hurt someone with that glass. And hello that probably cost the school a lot of money and he scared those kids. School should be a safe place. But in the end he is a kid lashing out and I don't know if Yato has helped Yuki deal with being dead emotionally. Like he told him the facts but maybe he didn't let Yuki cry it out. Or Yuki doesn't want to cry it out in front of Yato.

Either way Yato seems down for the count. The second the windows started to go Yato hit the ground. He did predict someone was going to snap today. Hiyori was there to see it and the nasty blight on Yato. I didn't know if you touched it you got blighted too. X___X Hiyori didn't make a contract with Yuki, unfair. Remembering Yato's words Hiyori gathered up Yuki and Yato and took them to see Kofuku. Surely she will help. She helped when Bishamon was trying to hurt Yato last time. Things will be okay. Yeah they will be okay. Or or....Hiyori will get there and Daikoku will make a barrier and cast them out. Yeah that works too.....Yato is in trouble isn't he? LE SIGH! Until next time.
