Makai Ouji: devils and Realists episode 12 FINAL EPISODE!

You do a bunch of anime episodes in one day and you want a cookie? I see.

YAWN! This is post 4 of 6. I am fading fast folks. But I was blogging all day and promised I get all 6 of these episodes up before I went to bed. So finally...finally here is the FINAL for Makai Ouji: devils and Realists. Episode 12. Spoilers for....nothing really Earth shattering happening.

This is rather odd....

Episode Summary: After a brief recap Dantalion is seen asking who Dantalion is again. Everyone is like this is so horrible, poor Dantalion! Why does Solomon remember everyone but Dantalion? Since Solomon doesn't know who Dantalion is and Dantalion is trying to take his ring he attacks Dantalion several times. Dantalion cries out for William but soon lays really broken on the ground. The others worry that Dantalion might die if he is hit again. Solomon turns his attention to the others. Mainly Balberith who approaches Solomon like he didn't just try to attack him. He greets Solomon warmly and says that much has changed since Solomon passed on. His kingdom is gone and now Hell is in trouble if they don't pick a temporary King. So.... Balberith tries to take the ring. But it quickly blasts Balberith away when he tries to touch it. Balberith orders all his minions to attack Solomon. So in one of the cheapest moves in history the same demons keep attacking Solomon over and over again, at least 5 times the same sequence is shown. Balberith and his frog moves keep attacking too. Solomon blocks all attacks and destroys the same demons over and over again. All the other Kings, Camio, and Sytry look on in awe as this not even Solomon's full power. While everyone else is doing nothing Dantalion slowly wakes up and sees the battle. He then has the longest flashback in history. Solomon contracted with him when he was just a child. Dantalion was the first one and was quite mouthy with Solomon. Dantalion wants to know if Solomon is trying to gather up a demon army. Solomon looks confused as he told Dantalion he was gathering all these demons up so they could be together. Dantalion informs the audience that Solomon is currently chained up. His father the king slept with a servant's wife and Solomon was the result. Now Solomon has to live in this state and Dantalion assumes the boy wants revenge. Solomon cocks his head like that never occurred to him. Sometime in the future Solomon has a birthday party and all his demons are there, looking younger of course. They are all having great fun but Dantalion who hangs back. Solomon asks for some grapes and for Dantalion to join them. Dantalion continues to watch everyone have a good time. Balberith walks up to him and says how disgraceful it is to be contracted to a human but no one can resist Solomon. If only he didn't have that ring.....Eventually Solomon's dad attacks Solomon and he has no choice to but attack back. With a heavy heart he takes the throne in one foul swoop. He goes to visit the imprisoned King to ask for acknowledgment. The old King refuses, saying he will never claim this sin as his son and now it is worse that Solomon uses demons. Solomon leaves very sadly. He keeps on keeping on, being King and reading his books. Dantalion wants to know why Solomon wants him around. Solomon says he will see one day, that it is something only Dantalion can do.

Well it is a good thing William doesn't remember you.

Dantalion then wakes up in the present to see Balberith getting his ass kicked. Solomon basically tells Balberith he is going to kill him and powers up. Dantalion thinks he doesn't want a repeat of history. Yet the flashback shows Dantalion killing Solomon...in any event Dantalion leaps in front of Balberith and protects the demon King before Sytry can die from not doing anything. Solomon is surprised but keeps on attacking. Dantalion fends him off alone because no one is helping at all! Dantalion begs for William to wake up which causes Solomon to falter. He starts to remember who Dantalion is when a magical door opens and bunch of feathers fly around everyone. It is Lucifer and he has awaken. All the demons are in shock as Solomon picks up a feather. He seems to hear Lucifer and decides to listen to his friend. He then allows Dantalion to take off his ring which causes him to pass out. Dantalion catches him and the other demons note that now that Lucifer is awake finding a replacement King isn't so important. Michael is also chillin and realizes they have more time to go through with their own plan. Kevin seems relived. William takes his final exams and receives the top mark in his class. Isaac goes to praise him but notices William isn't praising himself which is weird. Isaac asks what is wrong and William asks if Isaac knows anyone named Dantalion. Isaac is like not a student but in legends there is a demon named Dantalion. He walks to the church and asks Kevin if demons exist. Kevin says they do but they try to turn mankind evil. William doesn't think so. He thinks if there are demons they would be hot headed sweethearts, cookie loving freaks, and head boys who get perfect grades. William walks outside and nearly loses his family ring. Dantalion picks it up and tells William to be very careful with it. THE END!!!

So....season two yes?

I am not sure what I was expecting. I mean this series was only 12 episodes long and even not reading the source material I could tell the pacing was off. Way off at times. So this flat not really ending...should it both me? A lazy way of waiting til season two to make things make more sense? Lala hurry up the final episode is here. Wrap things up and we will worry about the fact that barely nothing happened in 12 episodes and the ending is so open ended a freight train could go through it.

And then I will blast you five seconds later.

Solomon does not remember Dantalion. And it is never explained why. Again is this going to be season two stuff? Why could Solomon remember everyone else and not Dantalion? Was it because he killed him? I will talk about that later but it just seems odd that Solomon would forgot the first demon he contracted with and the one he seemed closest with. Heart breaking.

I say normal and this is what Solomon wanted in his previous life.

Then again was Solomon acting his normal self? I mean he must have always been kinda weird if he was super friendly with demons but he almost seemed....out of it. I guess that is what happens when you are reborn after so many years and the first thing that happens to you is an attack. He just seemed so...okay with it. Like oh you want to hurt me. Goodbye. No emotion or anything. Not trying to reason with them. Just blast blast blast.

We shall stand here and do nothing weeee.

In this episode a great many people were useless. The only people who did anything were Balberith and Dantalion. Gilles did attack last episode but this time he spent most of his screen seconds looking pissed off. No no, everyone else just sat around and talked about how awful all of this was. Please don't do this Solomon. Watch out Dantalion. No Uncle don't die!!! Just everyone was beyond useless. Maybe it was like watching a train wreck. Still one of them could have I don't know restrained Balberith and explained to Solomon the situation that one of them needed to be elected King or Hell was going to go to Hell in a hand basket. Even if they couldn't contain Balberith they could still yell out to Solomon what was going on. Like hey I know you are confused but let me explain why everyone is so ticked off.

But....Dantalion killed Solomon and Balberith could attack....

Balberith was able to attack Solomon. How is that possible? How are any of them able to attack Solomon that have a contract? Dantalion never attacked, he just tried to remove the ring which is a no no. But Balberith was all blasting away. If he had a contract with Solomon how could this be? Also earlier dialogue in the series made it sound like the 4 kings had contacts with Solomon first, that the young ones are still new to the contract game and that is why they still feel so close to Solomon. But now we know Dantalion was first. It doesn't matter. Balberith is still attacking that makes no sense and Solomon doesn't look as angry as he should. One of my pillars is attacking? Go right ahead, I will attack you back. All of this is dumb. I know Balberith doesn't want to listen to a human but had he been calm and explained things to William maybe he could have gotten Sytry elected. Way to screw that up.

Not only did this look stupid but we saw it like 4 times.

This show really sucked today in terms of attacks and scenes. I swear to you they recycled the same exact scene at least 5 times. Can we say lazy? I know animation is expensive and people have to save money and maybe they ran out of cash 5 seconds before this show was going to air. But that was just pathetic. The lame blasts were just....lame. I am glad I didn't take the time to download these episodes. Enjoy them ripped from the internet because I rather get caught up on new stuff that download these 3 last episodes when the quality is so poor, especially in the battle.

Why is Dantalion so important?

Dantalion manages to wake up from his near death blasting. Like oh crap I need to take a second and have a flashback that lasts half the episode. The stuff in the flashback was important though. Not like the RECAPS from a certain show that took a million minutes to get through. This show is really has an.....interesting take on history. Dantalion was not too happy about being contracted by a human either. In his flashback however he seems willing to help Solomon in what he assumes is his task. Now Solomon was the product of the King having sex with his servant's wife. Interesting. Interesting take indeed. But instead of being raised like the proper Prince/King he will become Solomon is chained his entire life in a giant library. Because killing the kid would take too much work? I don't even know folks. What was the purpose of keeping him around? Solomon was like oh I guess I could get revenge.......

But really all young Solomon wanted was friends. Or at least that is how it was presented. I am sure he could have gotten some angely friends as he was blessed by God. Maybe something else was happening but to me it looked like Solomon wanted to help others out, especially Dantalion. Dantalion and his bandaged self did not like that though. Neither did Balberith. They were at the party being sticks in the mud. Balberith seemed more upset that a human had some kind of control over him. Dantalion seemed upset that Solomon didn't care about his own life. Only when push came to shove did Solomon become King. And even after that Dantalion was wondering why the heck he was still there.

I am not sure how any of this is the same as last time....

So...yeah...what is going on? Dantalion wakes up from his walk down Solomon lane to see Balberith getting his ass kicked. Why did Dantalion stop him? Wouldn't that be one less person to worry about? One less threat against William/Solomon? Well it looks like Dantalion had other reasons for saving Balberith. For some reason he was worried about William/Solomon? He didn't want the same thing to happen again. It looks like...to me...since it wasn't explained...that Solomon wanted Dantalion to kill him. So he must have acted all crazy and when Dantalion was able to break free from the spell he saw that he had killed Solomon. Does Dantalion think that is what is happening here? That Solomon is trying to kill Balberith in an attempt to kill himself? That's not what it looked like to me but clearly I am confused.

Errr...hello there Lucifer?

Dantalion was slowly breaking through to Solomon. Unlike the others because they weren't saying anything at all. But then....something super special happens. Lucifer wakes up. X_____X How did that happen? Did he sense that hell was going to be in big trouble if he didn't do something? I know this limits his life span as he needs to rest but this seems rather odd. My buddy Solomon is in danger so I will wake up and give him a super secret message. Also...you know...from my point of view frees William/Solomon forever. If Lucifer is awake he himself can elect a person in his place right? None of this well guys I am taking a nap, figure it out yourself. That must be what he was doing right? That is how he was protecting William/Solomon. Not sure what Solomon was understanding but gone he goes and back William goes.

It all feels so empty....

William in the real world is wondering what is missing from his life. Isaac is worried that he isn't excited about his high grades. Heck getting a scholarship didn't even excite him. What Uncle?!?! No no he needs to talk to a priest about if demons exist. I am pretty sure that demons have to exist if one is a Christian. Slightly special there. Kevin tries to plant some seeds into William's head but somehow William can't shake the feeling he knows demons.....And to end the series (season?) William sees Dantalion outside. Because Dantalion likes William for William, not just being the elector. Or unelector at the moment.

And then the show was over. X___X

So in conclusion....not much came from this show. William saw evidence of the crazy around him and barely acknowledged it was happening. He didn't pick anyone on principle. Like if I pick someone I am acknowledging this is actually happening. But that is also illogical as he wanted everyone to go away and by not picking he was making them stay longer. The battle scenes were special and the series didn't flow well. Lots of unanswered questions so I am going to assume that Lucifer is going to put himself back to sleep AGAIN without picking a successor AGAIN and poof everyone will be back in school. Probably even a 4th demon as Samael never really got around to picking. So...yeah this series was special and I got pretty behind on it. All caught up and wondering if it was worth watching. You live and learn. I will never get Luvs though. XD Until next time!

Makai Ouji: devils and Realists episode 11

Post 3 of 6!!! Go me! I would say it really is time for ice cream..but I had a bit for lunch. And a cookie for dinner. And it is 11 pm at night. Me thinks eating sweets that late might be bad for my health. Of course that hasn't stopped me before....

I was three episodes behind on Makai Ouji: devils and Realists. So that means I am really a month behind on some of these posts? Goodness me. More like 3 weeks for this episode but here it is, a tiny...lot bit late. XD Curse you super fun Disney weekends for making me fall behind. Here is episode 11 and spoilers for this show attempting to get back on track like me.

Me and my one wing say no....

Episode Summary: Joan of Arc is attacking hell again. Camio is fighting her off with a horde of demons. She kicks some butt but eventually weakens, saying it was due to the nasty air in hell. She leaves all smug like. Michael is seen playing chess with himself wondering if he made the right moves. He summons Kevin and implies Kevin is his bad move. He should have sent Kevin to hell to fight and Joan to esctasyed William. Michael gets all threatening which worried Kevin. In hell all 4 kings gather around to discuss what to do. Camio is credited with stopping Joan where Sytry was the one who alerted that Joan was there. Samael is like lets stopping seeing whose are bigger and get to the rest of the problem. Balberith thinks they should bring William to hell which surprises everyone since last they checked Balberith wanted William dead. Balberith is like all the more reason you should bring William to hell, you can protect him from Heaven and me. XD Everyone realizes if heaven got Solomon's powers they be screwed in more ways than one. It is agreed that Astaroth should be in charge of William. Lamia says she is unable to find Dantalion so Astaroth sends her to get William directly as Dantalion will surely follow. Sytry tells his Uncle he rather explain the situation to William. Balberith is like um no and appears to kiss Sytry? Leonard sees Sytry acting grossed out and disturbed later so that is what I assume anyway. William is being praised for his hard work and he thinks to himself how wonderful his bright future is. Lamia appears and introduces herself as Dantalion's fiancee. William is like nope do not care. She tells him she is going to bring him to hell and he claims he can't go because he has to study. So she dramatically brings him anyway. The room is full of demons, with the 4 Kings, Camio, and Sytry all around a table. The 4 Kings introduce themselves, Camio and Sytry tell William it will be okay, and William demands to be taken home. Different demons try to explain that Heaven is after him and it is safer here. William says he doesn't need to be here as he is not the Elector. Beelzebub points out that if William didn't care he could just randomly pick a name out of a hat and be done with it. So clearly William has to care.

Who you be again?

Some of the demons in the room get upset that William isn't taking this seriously and attack him. Dantalion appears and quickly destroys the trouble makers. Still demons are not pleased that they have to take orders from some human. William fumbles for his ring as he believes it is bringing him good luck. It falls to the ground and everyone gasps. Because that is the one ring to rule them all. More demons circle William saying if they had the ring William would no longer control them and they would be free. Dantalion is like back off bitches Camio and Sytry try to calm the crowd. William doesn't want anyone touching his family's ring so he puts it on and POOF!!!! William glows and starts to float in the air. Michael and Kevin are alerted that Solomon has returned. William continues to float, his eyes looking weird. Balberith decides that he will lead the charge to kill Solomon, get the ring, and stop the madness. Sytry begs Balberith not to do it but Balberith manhandles him a bit, saying Sytry wants to return to Heaven and Balberith is doing this for him. Balberith and many other demons start to attack the awakening Solomon. He is protecting himself automatically at first but soon he grows conscious and starts talking as he destroys the demons. Even Balberith seems to be no match for the amazing ring. The demons start to worry Solomon will destroy hell. Astaroth is worried Heaven will start attacking so she sends her demons to the gate. Solomon ends up destroying the building they were in and most of the demons that aren't main characters. Solomon gets more control of his body/powers and greets all his demons “warmly”. He gets in Balberith's face especially. Gilles is like this is my chance to change my lot in life, go me!!! He goes to attack Solomon who dispatches him quickly. Solomon has not met Gilles before and asks if Gilles would like to be his newest pillar. There is a little flashback of a very young Solomon meeting Dantalion for the first time. But in the present Solomon turns to Dantalion and asks who he is. THE END!

Or brain washing..... You know same thing.

Well that didn't flow into the last episode at all. Hhhhh almost like the school festival should have been a few episodes ago. So the whole Joan of Arc attacking Hell and Kevin failing to ectasyed William would directly proceed this episode. So yeah things seem super off. Like oh so we are fully back into plot mode, thanks for the warning.

We are the only ones doing work. This is lame.

Joan.....is she Heaven's only fighter? Is this directly taking place during that other episode? I doubt it since Sytry and Dantalion weren't there to protect William. So this is a different battle where Joan is doing all the work. Makes no sense. It also makes no sense that Camio is fighting alone. Okay so he is fighting with a bunch of loser demons. I know some have to protect William but maybe the Kings oh I don't know....could protect their own kingdom? Just a thought. You can send all the lower demons you want but if they are all just going to die you probably should do it yourself. You will be in danger but it makes no sense to waste so much of your army when you know they can't win.

I will point out what you are all doing but I am not real danger since I don't have a candidate.

The Kings were busy though. Talking. Having a group meeting. Not fighting. I like how they might be tentatively working together but still had time to throw out little digs. Camio is so amazing in battle. Okay but without Sytry we wouldn't have known about this attack until it was too late. I like how Samael who has no pony in this fight is like yes yes you both have amazing candidates, can we move on now? Is Samael waiting for something? Why doesn't he have a candidate? Is he waiting for the rest of the demons to fight it out and then swoop in the victor?

Yeah we didn't forget about that hommie.

Balberith seems to be calling all the shots. And the other Kings for whatever reason are letting him. You would think Beelzebub with his more likely candidate would be more in charge but nope. Not that he is in total control. Maybe he just speaks first and the loudest that he is noticed more. I do like that he was called out. Like so now you want to protect William even though you sent some demons to kill him? What a magical change of heart!!!! But Balberith is a slimmy one. He always has an answer for something. Like if you are concerned I will hurt William you should bring him to hell and protect him from Heaven and me! Woohoo plans!

What is this?!?!?!

Speaking of slimmy.....what is going on with Sytry and his Uncle? I just assume it was a kiss. Maybe it was nothing. Maybe it was more. Either way Sytry was looking sick. Didn't want to talk about it with Leonard. Maybe Sytry was just cringing from being touched at all? I don't know. Just...something is going on there. My lovely doll indeed. This is me jabbing my eyes out. Isn't that your nephew? Seems to me there has to be more to the story is Sytry is listening to such a gross guy. Left Heaven to be with him? Barf.

Because I am a realist!

Since Dantalion is no where to be found and it's impossible for magic demons to sense each other Lamia and her top hot self were sent to get William. The kid was having a good day so obviously something had to happen. William is thinking about his bright future? Time to bring up the demon stuff again. William was chillin, pretending his ring was just a ring and not a good luck charm when Lamia appears. No jealously when Lamia announced she was Dantalion's fiancee. Woe is my yaoi heart. William of course dismisses her and shoos her away. You would think that William would have learned by now that he will never win. Come embrace the madness.

BURRRRN.

William had quite the reception once he got to hell. No Dantalion but everyone else plus tons of demons. They probably should have been wearing red shirts. It was kinda odd with all the kings introducing themselves to William. They all know Solomon and they feel as if William truly is him right now. I think this series would have been a little stronger had William been experiencing flashbacks the whole time. Unless they really are trying to prove that William and Solomon aren't the same. Some bizarre reincarnation that has no memories at all of his past life. Whatever is going on William really doesn't care. LALALA fingers in my ears I don't see anything or hear anything. You can't make me pick a new leader and that doesn't mean I believe you otherwise. LALALA you demons aren't here, nothing matters.

I will cut you!

Things spiraled quickly out of control. The rest of the demons, the nonimportant ones that Solomon would never make a pact with, were not enjoying William's attitude. Everyone else is either used to William's attitude or have enough sense to wait to blast him into tiny pieces or try to get on his good side later. But the other demons, the ones who are probably wondering why these demons are kings if they have to listen to a human, yeah they were not happy. What do you mean you don't believe in us? We don't have to take your crap. Let us kill you and be done with this rule. Now....this actually makes a bit of sense. If they had been sneakier about it. The lesser demons could have waited for a better moment to kill William so their masters could be free from his rule. I don't think attacking him in front of his...pillars was a smart move. Red shirts for everyone weeee!

Well who did you expect to have the ring?!

William and his special self was like oh snap my crappy attitude isn't working here. Quick let me stumble with my ring and make the crowd even angrier. Which was kinda silly when you think about it. Why was everyone so shocked to see that ring? They all knew he was Solomon, acting like he was Solomon. But then they saw the ring and it was like WHOA?! Maybe they thought he didn't have the ring and was still controllable? Either way...William felt threatened and since this is the only thing left of his family he wasn't going to give it up. On the finger it went!!!!! So I take it that William has never put the ring on before? Because you know...maybe he could have been turning into Solomon way before today? Maybe next time Kevin can hide it better? HMMM is this really a family heirloom? Uncle you got some splainin to do!

Clearly some demons resent Solomon so...I guess he had to fight back.

I thought that Solomon was on a friendly bases with demons. But I guess that is just certain demons. And usually those demons aren't attacking him. I guess that opens the door for questions like...why would demons want to contract with a human anyway. Unless it was a forced contract. But not all humans are nice so why should all demons be nice? Solomon was just waking up and everyone was attacking him though. For a bit it looked like it was automatic, his desire to stay alive.

Wait I just noticed the we. X____X We? You think you can get back into heaven?

Balberith might be in a lot of trouble though. A lot of trouble. Maybe Solomon was still in a state of trying to take over William's body and didn't know it was Balberith issuing the attack. But yeah. This man has had it out for William and not Solomon so it shouldn't be much of a surprise right? Not quite sure why someone would follow a demon king that would lead them on a suicide mission on person. I got plenty of red shirts to throw at you. Attack meat shields. I would be like um no I don't think this is the job for me. But I guess if you said no that would be like asking to die anyway. Now is there a reason the other demon kings allowed these attacks to happen? Surely all the demons weren't Balberith's. Some had to come from other factions. How would they decide who gets to be Pretend King if William/Solomon was dead? If I were the other three kings I would be pulling out all the stops to save Solomon so I looked like the good kid and got picked. But yeah....that was not to be.

Still puking over here says Sytry. That is why he can't fight.

There was a whole lot of fighting and a lot of standing around. We need to be making shields people. And maybe plans. Is there a reason that Heaven didn't attack during this time? Because um it was looking like a perfect time to attack and panic. But no Michael was too busy yelling at Kevin to get Joan to come and make the situation even worse. Because Heaven has one attacker you see. The rest of the demons were just standing around looking shocked. What do you mean the grand place we were standing in is no more. We must stand around and gasp that Solomon's ring has in fact brought back Solomon. SHOCKER!!!!!!!

Or get your ass kicked. You know.

Gilles was just a hot mess. I mean...I suppose he is doing this all for Joan of Arc. But a little reminder of what he is fighting for would be nice. He became a demon to become a higher ranking demon so he can....you know..somehow save Joan. To either really save her or destroy her. The opening theme song might be a lie. But yes he decides he is going to jump into the fray and fight Solomon. I guess everyone thought they had a chance since his powers weren't fully awaken yet. If that wasn't Solomon at his first strength I don't think anyone has a chance. I like how no one really cared that Gilles became a little splat on the ground though. Question: If Solomon started to support the demons why didn't God just take away him powers/ring? HMMMMM!

SO MUCH DRAMATICS!

In a last ditch effort to save everyone Dantalion...ends up looking really special. I mean really, really special guys. I realize it was probably slo mo but I had tons of second hand embarrassment. All over the place. Had to turn away. Really, Solomon let someone get that close to him and touch his hand/finger? Yeah I am sure that happened. Also the way Dantalion grabbed his arm looked like he had broken Solomon's whole hand. It was just...embarrassing. But now it can be sad. Because Solomon was apparently shocked that someone he didn't know was touching him. Who are you? What do you mean you don't know who Dantalion is? Super dramatic cliff hanger is super dramatic!

Makai Ouji: devils and Realists episode 10

Today will be the night of posts. XD I hope I don't break anyone feeds too bad. This will be post 2 of 6. Then it will probably be pillow to head time.

Cooking is not fun, this episode is a lie!!!!

Even though I wanted to jump right into the new anime season I realized I need to finish what I started. That means finish the Summer 2013 anime. I got really behind on Makai Ouji: devils and Realists because the series was making me frustrated. But I kinda wanted to see how it ended. So here is episode 10. Spoilers for...special.

Everything revolves around me weeee!

Episode Summary: All the mains are in the cafeteria eating the lovely food. Not. Dantalion is the most unhappy about the situation. Williams tells him to buck up or go back to hell. Isaac agrees the food is terrible but never fear, the school festival is...now! Williams looks surprised at this news. They walk through the halls talking about how this would be a great way to eat better food. William is more concerned on how this affects him. Camio/Nathan approaches the boys and is like you know this is part of your grade right? Everyone has to do something. Sytry immediately leaves. Isaac is beyond happy he can raise his grades while William is like I can make money and keep my top position? They walk around the festival which is right now. Dantalion is like look at all this amazing food!! William is balking at the idea of doing work. They notice there is a long line so they head to that booth. It's Sytry's. Basically he is selling pics of himself and if you buy enough you can have a pic taken with him. Dantalion runs off all jealous. He vows to have a better booth despite his bat minions saying he needs to get back to hell and do paperwork. William is jealous of all the tokens Sytry has collected (signifying if a person liked your booth best) and Issac runs off to run his own booth. Dantalion sets up his booth....and I have no idea what he was doing. Literally he was wearing a strong man outfit and flexing his muscles with people going ahhhhhh and ohhhhhhh. William is like curse you asshole. Isaac has set up a tea shop and is lying about all the different things the teas can do so he has tons of customers and buttons. William starts to worry that he might have to do some real work. He sits down and realizes he can't compete with those three booths. Suddenly he has a plan. He approaches Sytry first. He tells him Dantalion has an amazing booth and he is worried Sytry won't win. He tells Sytry he wants to work with him, so they can be the best together. Sytry is all blushy at this and shakes hands shyly. William is all internally YES SUCKER! He then goes to Dantalion and says that since the cultural festival has started he has come to see how amazing and wonderful Dantalion is. So macho. But what if Sytry wins?! We should work together and beat him. Dantalion blushes and shakes hands while William is like HAHAHA Loser! William then approaches Isaac.....and throws him on the ground. William demands Isaac give him all the tea. In return William promises to tutor Isaac until he passes to the next grade. A terrified Isaac says yes.

This comes from a place of lies.

William then.....opens a maid/butler cafe. Gilles, who was running Sytry's shop, is a maid along with Sytry and Dantalion is a butler. Both have tons of customers but are pissed William tricked them. William is like we shook, get to work. Dantalion ends up serving what might be his bat minions while William is like victory is mine. In hell Baphomet is looking human and shopping for food. Unless he is on Earth shopping for food. Either way he is lalalaing when another demon looking human approaches him. His name is Leonard and he is Sytry's lamb cook. Basically the two hate each other and think they are the best. After some squabbling it is decided they will have a cooking contest. So naturally they go to William and ask him to judge. He is like no suckers. Dantalion gets involved and says William has to. So magically a set is made for the cook off for people who don't go to this school. Everyone is excited. Dantalion are judges as well as Isaac and William. Leonard and Baphomet set to cooking which consists of flashy throws, fires, and Gilles dramatically giving recaps. Soon all the dishes are served looking amazing. Gilles eats first and loses his mind about how wonderful everything is. Isaac eats next and he also has the same over the top reaction to the food. William is like is this how hell food tastes? Dantalion is like don't be stupid. Both eat the food and have crazy reactions to the loveliness as well. Sytry just chews. The first three boys give Baphomet and Leonard ten's. Sytry only gives Baphomet a 10, because Baphomet made desserts. Leonard cries because he went to China to study for his master. Everyone is like...you should have went to Paris. William then makes Leonard and Baphomet work at his cafe to pay back the cost of the stage. Both are X___X but get competitive. William gets super competitive as well and is sure he has won. But of course it is announced that Camio won despite no one really knowing what his booth was. In hell Balberith decides it is time to stop playing games and strike. THE END!!!!

Don't call me easy!

Well that was an easy episode to summarize. I am sure I have tons of mistakes as my brain was trying to get more typed than my fingers could handle. Also this episode had nothing to do with anything and almost no plot at all. Like oh we are all serious demons trying to rule hell? Lets have fun!!!

Give me some real food or else.

Food is horrible everywhere. At a school, on a plane, and at work catered events. That's just how it is. But it really sucks when the food sucks and you pay for it. A lot. I am sure tuition is expensive at that school. It should be better than army slop. That might just be me being crazy. Dantalion hates the food the most. That might be because he is the most spoiled. I am sure William had it good though. Why not be like Sytry and eat snacks all the time? Also you are demons. Pop into hell, eat dinner, and comeback. Simple yes?

Oh yeah...like the entire school hasn't been getting ready for it for days!

So...this show has demons and angels and super powers. But it is also special. Super special. Aren't school festivals announced months in advanced? School basically shuts down for a week so they can make booths, practice plays, and buy supplies. Posters all over the place. But in this show Isaac is just like this food sucks hopefully the festival will better. William is like festival? Oh you know...the one going on RIGHT NOW?! I mean...maybe William has been busy with school and demon but still isn't this a bit too special?

There was more special to come though. Camio is like by the way you all have to participate. Because you know how William was going to let that slip his mind, a chance to raise his grades. We couldn't have a scene with all the characters being preoccupied when this was announced? William loves great grades, making money, and being the best (earning the badges). So how could he and Isaac the Failing miss this? Oh and by the way it really is going on RIGHT NOW!!! Like go outside and see. William the Prefect wasn't approached by anyone to do something together? No one had to ask him for approval? Hmmm....a lot of special. Also I didn't see any people besides students there....boring.

Did you bring me cookies?

The special kept on coming. I mean besides the students getting to keep the money. The grades and medals should have been enough. In a school that needs donations to run the kids can keep the money? Okay then. But yes more...special. Everyone is walking around looking at booths and suddenly Sytry has his own? I am not sure how much time had passed but saying one hour might be too generous. I know they are demons and Dantalion can make illusions. But it was almost instantaneously. Like were there spells involved? Like poof this booth just came into being and everyone forgot it was poofed? How does that explain Isaac then? Last time I checked he was just a normal kid who wants to be magical. Yet his booth was set up five seconds after seeing Dantalion's. Does he have pounds of tea in his room just sitting and waiting for this day no one knew about? Did I mention this episode was special?

What the hell is all of this?

So whose booth was best? Isaac had a simple but effective booth. He was being a bit of a liar but the kid is desperate and he sold something tangible and useful even if it was slightly predictable. Go with what you know right? Sytry probably would have made the most money. His fans may either be actually gay or going after the boy who looks most like a girl since this is an all boy school. Either way Sytry already had an established club so this seems obvious. A play on how Japanese like to buy pictures of their idols and getting deals. Buy a full set and get a picture weeee. Dantalion had the stupidest booth. I still don't know what he did. Pay people to watch him be awesome? Pay him to watch him beat up your friends or you? Not sure here folks. Maybe all those boys are in love with Dantalion because they want him to dominate them and it doesn't matter what he was selling.

Sex appeal...does William need some?

William looked at all these booths and was like aww hell no. This looks a lot like work. And magic and special but mostly work. No no, William can't be working. He is an intellectual. But I thought he was a realist?! Lies. He can't stand not winning. Even if it was obvious Camio would win. Now what is William to do? At first I thought he was going to offer to do homework or sell test questions. But that isn't William. No no, William likes fine things. Something that looks grand. Something others can do for him and he can look like the amazing one. Now what can he do?!

Why so mean to Isaac?!

William does what the best money hungry people do. Steal other people's ideas, change them slightly, and call it your own. Hire others and pay them little (or in handshakes) and watch the profits roll in. Brilliant! Such brilliance! And William made sure it didn't cost him a penny. Instead he gave everyone what they needed. For Sytry and Dantalion that was their need for William to love them. Like me?! You want me?! You think I am special? Oh and the need to beat the other. Because someone who offers to take down my enemy must be my friend. With Isaac it was a bit different. William sorta...strong armed Issac. Not a fan of bullying. :( Like William needs to nicer to Isaac he doesn't have many friends. I think had William just offered to help Isaac the boy would have agreed. No need for threats.

Don't you love me or something? Go serve tea.

In the end William manages to manipulate all his friends (without making them resent him too much), mash their ideas into one, and take advantage of all the fan clubs to open...a maid/butler cafe. I find it slightly humorous that William was all X___X over Sytry's idea but it took it a step further. XD Like hey look I have gathered the hotties and they have to serve you. Because we shook hands!!!!! That way William really doesn't have to do any work yet looks super successful. Bringing in all the ideas together and reaping the rewards. Don't like it? Well aren't I your Elector? Don't you love me? Now do it!!!

Has it been?

Elsewhere....there is shopping going on. Shopping folks. Baphomet should stay in his human form more often, he's hot. XD I am sure that's not the point though. He was all minding his own business when Leonard the Lamb Chef approaches him. That was special too. Of course there is a rivalry between Dantalion and Sytry. But we have never seen Leonard before now. So yeah this interpersonal rivalry seemed out of the blue. Cooking is serious business folks. Who has it best, Sytry or Dantalion? As their chefs they must feed them the most amazing food and not be outdone. Is your house no better? Um yes better! Leonard seems to be more of a trouble maker than Baphomet though. Like psht you want a battle, I will give you one!!! And guess who has to judge? Just guess, I know you know.

Work smarter, not harder.

William!!! Cookies for all. And despite the fact everyone is basically doing him a favor William was like um no. Because that is how William rolls. From a place of no. But he didn't put up much of a fight. Probably because he had dollar signs and buttons on the mind. Like hmmmm how can I make this benefit me again? Oh and there was more special. William mentions that the stage cost money....even though it appeared out of thin air. And of course all the students losing their minds over people they shouldn't know. Like woohoo elaborate sets and weird looking adults? Lets go folks!!!

The best thing I have ever eaten.

Everything about the competition was silly and over the top. Leonard and Baphomet were like BAM! Baming all over the place. I can use whatever words I want, you can't copyright words!! They make cooking look so easy. And fun which means this entire episode was a lie. But what could top the XO cooking of amazingness. The @_@ of the judges reactions. Gilles is just...Gilles. So that was expected. Isaac ...well he is just happy to be there. No the real funny moment was Dantalion and William making fun of their silly reactions then....being over the top themselves. All floaty in that world...this is heavenly. Or maybe in Dantalion's case helly? And then Sytry was like munch.

William can't catch a break can he?

The end of this episode had much disappointment for all. Leonard lost because his master was the only one not to give him a 10. How sad...and impartial of Dantalion? Next time make some cake? Both animal chefs then had to cook for William as he is like you owe me. More humiliation. But William might have gotten what was coming to him. Maybe. He did put together a dream team even if the only work he did after the lying was minimum. It was not to be though. Camio pulled a win out of nowhere. What did he do? Um it doesn't matter. He is head boy/head demon and he automatically wins. And William is dumb for thinking he had a chance. Woe is William. There is more woe to come though. In the last 30 seconds of the show Balberith is seen looking all Balberithy and he is tired of all these games and nonplotness. Like we need to actually pick a ruler for Hell? Crazy talk. Doesn't he know the festival is RIGHT NOW?! How rude.

Makai Ouji: devils and Realists episode 9

I thought demons would be more stabby....less magical.

WEEE post number two. Only two for today but that brings up the post count to 6 this weekend so that is good yes? I just got to keep on task and post during the week as the friend and I are hitting Disney this weekend. Up now is Makai Ouji: devils and Realists episode 9. Finally all caught up woohoo. Spoilers for Gilles being really creepy and me not focusing too much on him.

Can you not be on your way? Please?

Episode Summary: The last few minutes of the previous episode are shown again. This time with the Kings going into more detail on why William is in danger. Apparently estacy is something that Heaven does to you, where either your soul or personality are taken away and you become basically a puppet for that side. Gilles is especially upset as someone close to him, Joan of Arc, had this done to her. Speaking of Joan.....Michael decides to send her into battle...with her magical girl outfit on. William goes to visit Kevin. Not to ask about all this nonsense of course. That would be silly. Kevin is not in his room though. William finds his father's ring on Kevin's desk and instead of getting super pissed that Kevin kept it from him ALL THIS TIME he just pockets it and acts nervous when Kevin does return. William had come to ask about money for tuition but Kevin has gambled everything away. William tries to be upset but thinks about how Kevin has been here for him every moment since his parents died. Kevin tries to make them a snack but ends up breaking some dishware and turning William away. Turns out that Michael was nearby causing Kevin to spaz out. Michael explains that he has sent someone to hell to cause a distraction leaving William all alone. That is when Kevin needs to perform the estacy on William. Or else. This causes Kevin to have a flashback of his own. Back when he was a full fledged angel it was his job to punish people and of course Solomon needed a lot of punishment because he was done making deals with demons and making them his pillars. Solomon never backed down and questioned why Kevin would even want to do this job. Kevin gets pretty outraged but Solomon smiles and you know what that means! When William walks outside all his demon friends are like William we have to leave for hell immediately. They warn him to be careful which of course William doesn't care about and goes on his way.

Yo Gilles someone noticed you. Need a hug?

The trio make their way to hell where they see it is pretty tore up. As they walk around they talk about why this could be happening. Jean appears again in her magical girl outfit and the demon men are forced to fight her, upset at what has become of her. While this is going on William is having the deepest sleep ever and breaks into William's room. He is having second thoughts about putting William through esctasy but he knows it must be done. He attempts to do the procedure several times but it fails, probably due to William's lack of religion. Kevin becomes desperate to do the spell now but Raguel appears. Apparently Kevin wasn't trying hard enough on purpose to spare William. Raguel is like you either need to esctasy him or kill him. Gilles is outside with Dantalion's bats and he smiles to himself. Raguel senses the danger and goes outside to fight Gilles so Kevin can perform the spell. Gilles is certainly pissed off at this procedure as it touches home to him. Raguel can't seem to think out of the box and is like this is God's will. The two fight for a bit and Gilles becomes more and more insane. It turns out when he was a human he went out and committed every deadly sin just for God to punish him personally. That day never came and when he was to be executed Balberith appeared before him. Balberith promises that if Gilles gave him his soul one day he would see Joan again as she became a saint. Raguel is like look instead of fighting me now you can go to hell and see Joan for yourself. Gilles has more of the crazies, saying he didn't come this far to just see her once. No no he wants her forever and ever so he can do terrible things to her for all of eternity. Raguel realizes that he is dealing with high level crazy and the battle continues on. Raguel eventually loses as he is pounded into the ground. Kevin and his angel self appears and repels Gilles. Gilles gets pissed off but is probably going to lose. Dantalion comes and it appears he is siding with Kevin. Gilles is like what the hell but Dantalion is like you need to leave before you get eradicated. Kevin and Dantalion decide that they are simply classmates and stewards to William to temporarily end the fight. Kevin goes to meet with Michael so he can get his ass kicked due to failing. It appears Michael is going to kill Kevin when suddenly he starts to feel ill. His hand temporarily becomes almost transparent. Kevin goes to comfort him but Michael pushes him away. At the school William has a slight cold due to waking up shirtless and the demon men act like nothing happened that night. THE END!

Looks like William was half asleep too.

I am pretty sure I typed most of the summary when I was half asleep. Which means my spelling, grammar, and sense making was really lacking. I already found three mistakes! Unless the demons went to heaven to find it messed up. I need someone else to look at my posts, with fresh eyes. And you know...the ability to spell names I am not used to.

HMMMM I shall put it in my pocket and never mention it again.

Is there a reason why William didn't question why Kevin had his father's ring? The only thing William wanted from his house, the only thing that might have been left, and Kevin had it. It might have been worth some money or maybe William wanted it for sentimental value. Either way it was not Kevin's. Clearly it is Solomon's ring but since the demons have not mentioned it to him before he doesn't realize that. William..why don't you ask questions? Why do you walk through life going lalala? It just makes the show seem very weak. Like William can't be that dense. I want to see some anger!

What happened to free will?!

What the hell is this ecstasy thing? Now I can see why Hell wants to move William in, working together to protect him. Because if works then no one will be selected and I guess that means bad news for Hell. Even if Camio should be leader by default. And no one is really making a move to be elected anyway. But still this is very bad stuff and Heaven is looking more and more like the baddie with each passing episode.

Um....why are we doing this again?

Oh yes the actual ecstasy. Which I am having a hard time spelling apparently. I am not quite sure what it is. Or that there are conflicting ideas of what it is. Either way the person it happens to is no longer them. The soul is either taken out or the qualities that makes a person...that person are removed. The personality. I guess those could be considered the same thing. Maybe it has to do with this being a Japanese show and I am from a Western culture? In any event....bad....very bad!!! Wouldn't that render William useless though? If it is Solomon's soul that can make the decision than technically no demon can be chosen as King yes?

Um...you probably? Yes definitely you.

This is just a taste of how awful...things can be in Heaven. We have Kevin living in fear anytime Michael walks/flies by. Like he is a captive victim that just can't help but be fearful and respectful of Michael. William is on Heaven's hit list. And Joan of Arc. Oh poor Joan of Arc. What have they done to her? What has her story become in Japan? Magical girl indeed. I think my eyes are still bleeding from the sight of her. The sight of how big her eyes are and what she is wearing. Can she at least look like she came from a certain time period? Everyone else is dressed in...what appears to be period appropriate clothing but not Joan. Not Joan indeed. What did this girl do to Japan to make animes portraying her in such a crazy light?

My eyes....MY EYES!!!

In any event the plan is for Michael to have Joan...all alone...travel to Hell and cause some havoc. That will cause all of William's guardians to leave him. Kevin will then perform this ecstasy thing on him. BRILLIANT! What could go wrong? For some reason Michael thinks it is a gift to let Kevin essentially erase William? I am not seeing how that is a good thing? Maybe Kevin would make it hurt less? I don't know. It doesn't seem like an honor to Kevin. Or me. But since it is going to be done and it got Kevin back on Michael's good side....I don't know folks. These demons keep telling William how dangerous it is just being him and they ALL leave him when things get shady in hell? I see indeed.

Hell has standards you know.

Camio, Dantalion, and Sytry all make it to Hell to see it messed up. Because no one else in Hell can go up against Joan of Arc. No one. Not even the Kings. Thanks for putting up a fight. No no, just call the people who were watching William and have them clean up the mess. Makes a lot of sense. Again I need the eye bleach. Poor Joan of Arc and her magical girl look. Because she is a virgin ya'll. Even the boys pitied her. :(

Now hurry up and kill your reason for living you can live!

While the demons were in Hell not fighting Joan seriously Kevin was undressing William with his eyes and for real. Time to erase the silly soul of his. Only it wasn't working. Was it because Kevin wasn't trying that hard or was it William's lack of religion? That makes no sense. Like haha you can't hurt me because I don't believe in you. Either way Rague or whatever his pasta name is had to come and set Kevin straight. I think Raguel might be slightly protective of Kevin...

So you might as well give up. Apparently.

But before all that Raguel coming around Kevin had a flashback. Probably explaining why Kevin has been around William all his life. Because in William's previous life, as Solomon, Kevin in angel mode was sent to punish Solomon. Which makes sense. God gave Solomon these powers and he was off making friends with demons and not being very appreciative of things. So the punishment angel was sent. I am not sure I follow Solomon's thinking though. There will always be sin so why bother punishing it? I think that is what Solomon was saying. Like how do you feel judger! Let things be. Either way it made Kevin question himself here and now. Woe is Kevin.

Can someone else rescue me please?

So who does come to William's rescue? Gilles. I think he might have been better off...dying if this is the person who comes to your rescue. I guess Gilles has reason to keep William alive, so his faction can win and what not. But damn he was a hot mess. Crazy. And Joan of Arc needs to run. Run in Fate/Zero and really run now. He wants to save you so he can do horrible things to you. Run away in your magical girl garb. Gilles is pretty strong though. Has a touch of the crazy though.

Who knew naps were so important?!

In the end nothing much happens. Dantalion stops Gilles from killing Kevin and Raguel because that will put William in more danger? I don't see how when Michael should just over take everyone now? William has no idea what went on in regards to protecting him. And it looks like Michael is slowly wasting away because he hasn't taken a nap? So Lucifer is dying and so is Michael? William shall rule them all! Surely the best King who hates everyone equally.
