Love Stage Episode 10 FINAL EPISODE!

Well then...I am slightly behind aren't I? It is the same story of course. I am actually caught up on every single anime this season but Glasslip. Obviously since most of then ended this week. But I would almost finish one episode then hop on over to another episode. I actually thought this was already posted. Then I could find the summary. Clearly duel work on Dated and the good laptop is messing with my ability to finish things (as Dated cannot download anything bigger than a pic it seems).

X___X Kisses...from Izumi? In season 1? Ryouma is floored.

So I need to buckle down and get all these half finished things done. There is a large block of reality TV shows that I am addicted to (go team Zach) on tonight so maybe I can double task. I seem to get things done faster when I have something to watch on TV. So without further adieu here is the last episode of Love Stage! Spoilers for.....well a happy ending? Literally.

Curse these glasses!!!!!

Episode Summary: Izumi is trying to run away from the thugs that are threatening him. He puts up a valiant effort but is eventually cornered as he is outnumbered. He is pushed to the ground so the three thugs can see if Izumi is a boy or a girl. A quick shirt check reveals Izumi is all boy but suddenly he starts to cry and the thugs get flowers in their eyes. Izumi….is cute even when he is a boy?! So now they all want a turn at him and start touching him. Izumi sorta just lays back and gives up as he feels defeated. The men start touching him and all he can think about is Ryouma and how when Ryouma touches him it feels good. Suddenly Izumi only wants Izumi and can't allow this to happen. He kicks the main gang member in the elephant and manages to escape the other two by whacking and leaving part of his clothes behind. He runs out of the area and finds Takahiro who was nearby looking for him. They get him to a bathroom and there is a scene with the other two manga club members. They are pissed Izumi is late and now Takahiro is gone. It is hot outside and waiting it boring blah blah. Then one of the boys reveals that he has an otaku friend who is a girl which is clearly against Big Bang Rules. The angry otaku texts Takahiro who probably wishes he had stayed home that day. Izumi gets himself cleaned up and declines to talk about what just happened to him. Takahiro warns Izumi about wearing his glasses from now on because of his famous status. Izumi seems to be confused that Takahiro knows he is famous now as Takahiro is like...it is obvious. Takahiro tries to bring up examples, like Ryouma wasn't his cousin and what not. Takahiro realizes the way he knows Ryouma (besides opening his eyes and looking on the TV) will expose his secret but he goes for it. He works as an assistant for the writer on LalaLulu. Izumi basically loses his mind like Takahiro thought he would and all the assault melts out of his mind. Takahiro gets Izumi back on track and tells him that Ryouma and his super bowing self showed up at the studio the other day and begged for a favor for a friend, to review this manga sample as this friend just got some pretty devastating news. The writer tries to explain that they are busy but Ryouma bows and says how he is so concerned for his friend's future and this would mean so much. The words touch the artist/writer and gives Ryouma a chance. Izumi starts to cry because Ryouma had told him it was easy to get this review. Takahiro smiles and says that Ryouma must be a really good friend. Izumi realizes how good Ryouma has been to him and that he needs to make a decision on how he feels about the man now, not to lead him on anymore. Izumi tells Takahiro he has to leave now and find Ryouma. Takahiro smiles and gives him his glasses so no one would recognize him again. Izumi then takes off running to Ryouma's place because there is no taxi in this universe.

Anime is for boobies, not elephants. Duh.

As Izumi runs for his little life we the viewers see the parents. And since I don't care about the parents.....they are just basically sitting there talking about how Izumi started off...weird in life but they have faith in him. That he will be a good entertainer despite the fact he almost melted on the sidewalk at the idea of appearing in front of people. GO PARENTS! Izumi keeps on running down that street thinking of all the times Ryouma has helped him or been there for him. Sure there was a bit of snag when Ryouma called him a drag queen or tried to molest him. But all the stuff he has done for him thus far....that is love. And Izumi doesn't want to hurt the man anymore. As Izumi runs he has his little Izumi dream where he can talk to LalaLulu. It is like they are going to say goodbye, that Izumi is moving on with his life. Izumi thanks LalaLulu for her help and she smiles, saying she will see him again one day. Run on Izumi. Meanwhile at his home Ryouma has lost his little mind. He is so embarrassed with how he told Izumi his feelings, that he was jealous of his new popularity and was afraid he was going to lose him. Ryouma is upset with himself as he promised he would never do that to Izumi again and clearly he is a liar. Ryouma tries to put his big boy panties on and call Izumi since Izumi hasn't called him. Suddenly Izumi is at the door and Ryouma is confused. He is more confused when Izumi starts kissing him. And then his brain explodes when Izumi says lets have sex. Like what the heck?! Instead of asking questions Ryouma tells Izumi if they start to take off their clothes there will be no stopping his elephant. Izumi agrees and to the bed they go to start taking off their clothes and kissing more. Ryouma starts to get visibly nervous and Izumi finds it cute. But soon both boys find their courage and a little bit of foreplay takes place (almost off camera) and Izumi is all embarrassed. Suddenly Shougo's coffee mug breaks and he takes it as a sign that something is wrong with Izumi. He begs Rei to find Izumi and due to tracking Rei finds that Izumi is at Ryouma's. Rei distracts Shougo so Izumi can have his moment. Well that moment ends in pain as Ryouma is running Izumi a bath as he pouts on bed. Ryouma then gets worried NOW Izumi just had pity sex with him. Izumi is like X____X oh yeah I didn't tell you the most important thing I came to tell you. I love you. Izumi gushes a bit and sees that Ryouma is crying because he is so happy. They have come a long way and have realized how much they really care for each other. They hug each other and POOF it is now in the future. Izumi realizes the door to his future might be a mystery but he found Ryouma behind one of those doors. He has started his career doing commercials and what not and someone sketchy looking is glancing at a billboard with a smile on his face. But for now Izumi is happy, cute, and has a boyfriend. YAY FUTURE...and LalaLulu. THE END!

Ten episodes?! That’s it?! I mean I knew that going into this show but still. The ending was a bit up in the air. Perhaps that means there is a second season in the works already but why not fluff the ending up a little so it’s not so….I don’t know. Like bam, have some sex and goodnight. I bought the girl dinner, what more do you want kinda attitude. Yeah I know I am weird. So when we last saw Izumi he was surrounded by three thugs. They were robbing someone else at the time but without his glasses on all interest turned to this kid and how hot he was without glasses. It makes me smile to know that I could be as pretty as a Disney Princess once I remove my glasses. Izumi panicked but managed to somewhat get away. He put up a fight anyway. He dodged and ran but there were 3 of them and they look like experienced thugs. Plus Izumi isn’t wearing his glasses. True both Izumi and Takahiro were able to function without their glasses but I am sure it wasn’t fun. Blurriness and what not. So it is no surprise that Izumi got recaptured and pushed to the ground. Time to see what Izumi is working with in his pants as the thugs are convinced he is too pretty to be a boy.

Yeah not a joke so not liking this scene....

I wasn’t really impressed with how things turned out. Of course they realized Izumi was a boy….but then it almost took a comical turn. Like the thugs suddenly became blushy and cute over how CUTE Izumi was. Like oh can I have a turn even though he is a boy? Yeah rape isn’t flowerly and it shouldn’t turn into a joke. Wait Ryouma, did you do that too? Yeah I am talking out of both sides of my mouth but these people clearly had ill intentions. Like oh snap Izumi is so cute he makes innocent men into rapists. Just not liking this message. I know this is supposed to be a fluffy show but we can still keep the gritty parts gritty. No need to make the rapist seem anything human or normal. Still ugly creatures and Izumi doesn’t deserve this treatment.

It's Ryouma or nothing. But save yourself first!

Izumi of course was upset at the handling and impending sexual assault. He just got tears in his eyes and assumed the position of why the heck does this keep happening to me, no longer care pose. Poor Izumi. Why does this keep happening?! As the men pawed at him he did what I thought he was going to do, compare it to Ryouma. Ryouma touches hi m and most of the time it is unwelcomed or at the very least a surprised set of touches. But still this is a happy/cute anime and doesn’t want to focus on reality. Izumi has started to feel things about Ryouma and his touches are positive. These people are hurting him and the idea of them having his first…well any times is awful. It should be Ryouma doing those things he read about in all those yaoi mangas. So…it was surprising to me that Izumi saved himself. I really thought Ryouma was going to end up there by some phone call or person informing him. Or that maybe Takahiro stepped up to the plate because he has feelings for Izumi too and needs to prove himself. But it was Izumi landing kicks and using quick tactics to get away. GO IZUMI!!!!

Why are even on these people....

Once Izumi got away and found Takahiro there were tears. Izumi had focused on the moment and when things were safe enough he deserved to have a moment. While Takahiro was taking care of Izumi in a nearby bathroom (or as much as a man can take care of another man while they are both being DUDEZ about the situation) we got to see what was up with the two other manga club members. You know, the people no one cares about, not even the creators because they couldn’t be bothered to give them real facial features. More like DERP Izumi and Takahiro are too hot to be normal otaku so we need to have some okatus that fit the typical stereotype. Since neither of them did much and weren’t too nice to Izumi (more DUDEZ moments) I really don’t care about them. I don’t know why we had to waste time on them. None of their tiny scenes really added anything to the show. One of them is better off than the other though as he has a girl who is a friend as an otaku buddy and is going to help them sell stuff or whatever. She wasn’t a beauty queen but wasn’t a “stereotype” either so I guess there is a middle ground between hottie Takahiro and these two. So…complain on that Izumi is late. Because no one is going to tell you the truth on what really happened.

What rape?! I love LalaLulu so that is of course more important.

After that boring and pointless scene it is back to Izumi and Takahiro. I don’t think Izumi told his friend exactly what happened. Like yo bro was almost raped and Takahiro was like yo bro that sucks. I think he just talked about thugs and Takahiro…still didn’t call the police because that is just silly business. Izumi even takes the time to apologize for getting Takahiro in trouble with the other friends as being late. Sorry my assault cost you minutes with those two dream boats. Then the conversation turned to Izumi and his lack of glasses and how that will lead to trouble because he is famous now. I’m Superman!!! No seriously I like how Izumi was shocked that Takahiro knew it was him and Takahiro was all duh. It isn’t like Izumi has a stage name and he looks totally different. It is a pair of glasses people. Honestly. The other two don’t know it is Izumi because they only watch anime but not Izumi is back to being embarrassed. But I guess that means all the kids at school won’t bother him at all. If he still goes.

No jealous Takahiro? LAME!

This seqways into Takahiro talking about how he knew that Izumi’s cousin was really the famous Ryouma and what not…and that Takahiro has a secret of his own. I wasn’t completely correct but close enough folks. Takahiro is an assistant for the LalaLulu manga. Izumi’s dream. All the memories of his assault have melted away. Now he wants to work there and meet the artist and basically everything that Takahiro thought the boy was going to say and do which is why he didn’t say anything. So why is he saying anything now? Because he was there when Ryouma the famous not cousin came by and did some impressive bowing to get the artist to review Izumi’s awful manga and write him a word of encouragement. Takahiro hid behind a door while the convo was going on. I like that it looked like Takahiro and the artist didn’t look dead as many manga and animes based on making mangas make deadlines appear to be the worse things in the world. We are all going to die. The artist actually did say no as the helpless assistant looked on. Like dude he bowed, I had to take him here to see you. But Ryouma tried to turn on the waterworks and really explained Izumi’s plight and situation. Please help my friend out as I don’t want his dream to die.

He....he did this for me?!

This news really brought tears to Izumi’s eyes. He was probably still emotional about what happened to him but this was all new news to him. Ryouma played this all off as being easy to do, to get the review and note. Now he knows that Ryouma begged in a serious manner and stuck his neck out for him. Touched. Super touched. I guess Takahiro doesn’t have any feelings for his friend as there was no bitterness in his voice when he said Ryouma was a great friend or when Izumi was like sorry I got to see Ryouma now. MOG can two boys just be friends in the universe I live in? But yeah Izumi was probably in no position to go have fun with his friends anyway. Should have just gone home. He was already thinking to himself that he needed to talk and figure things out with Ryouma and with this new information and the notion of touching…it is time to run. Go to him. Oh wait take my glasses before you go Clark Kent. Wouldn’t want to have another incident or something. I can totally see without them so it will be okay. Probably.

Izumi and Takahiro have the same prescription of eyewear so Izumi is able to run the distance to Ryouma’s home. Getting in a taxi would make too much sense. Because this all represents a journey for Izumi. He is running away from the old him and onward to the new Izumi. One that has Ryouma. Izumi replays all the happy and not so happy moments he shared with Ryouma and knows how he feels for the man who has made him his everything. Ryouma is a great friend and loves him. After the initial…bad thing all Izumi has done is take from Ryouma. It is time to put the man’s mind at ease and run through these memories and into the future. Izumi also took a moment to say goodbye to LalaLulu in a sense. She has been his rock and probably reason for living for a long time. His goals were tied in her. He even imagined his first kiss with her. Unhealthy and realistic relationship. But now he can have a real relationship and it is time to say goodbye to her. Not forever mind you. Her role will now be different. She will share space on the self with all those yaoi mangas and Ryouma posters. Thank you for all you have done my friend. Go and do good.

HE KNOWS I CARE!!! What do I do?!

While Izumi is running as fast as his little otaku legs can take him Ryouma is laying in bed having a moment. So many moments. Since he is a dude he is having a meltdown over how…sincere and honest he was being at the studio. I am jealous, people are going to take you away from me are things Ryouma finds embarrassing to say even though he means them in his heart. How can he face Izumi now?! So embarrassed. Also there is the fact that Ryouma has already apologized once for being too physical with Izumi and here he is doing it again. So maybe Izumi is mad at him for being a liar and his life is useless. WOE IS HIM! I like that he has some self awareness. He should be taking the time to rest up and nap while he has a break from work but instead he is working up the courage to call Izumi.

Wait! I am still all excited about the kisses. Be still my heart!

Enter the Izumi. He literally flew into the apartment, grabbed Ryouma, and said take me now. Have your way with me. Take off my clothes and let us expose the elephants. What…what…Wait?! Don’t give Ryouma any false hope or make him die of a nosebleed. Also…where is the romance? Izumi did start to do some kisses but….but…I want more. Ryouma thought he had ruined things with Izumi and suddenly it has morphed into Izumi saying things that aren’t quite a love confession. In Izumi’s mind they were but Ryouma and his confused self heard I accept your feelings and now you can have sex with me. Don’t worry folks things will get set right before the end of the episode but…yeah. I am a romantic girl at heart and I would have liked the cemented I love yous before any insertion of body parts. But as I understand it sometimes in Japan saying I love you is too embarrassing anyway so….

It will be magical. Or more realistic. One of the two.

So anyway sex folks. Time to rip the clothes off and have at it. I thought we were going to get the see through love making scenes of floweriness. Like the ones that have happened before. Instead…it was sorta cute how they boys were trying to dude each other with taking off their shirts and pretending like they aren’t nervous. Even though they are. I was especially touched that Ryouma was nervous. He is the one on top and most of the time they are big and beefy and they got this. But Ryouma showed a more realistic side. Like a lot of pressure to perform well and not kill your partner. And Ryouma has been dreaming of this his entire life. What if it isn’t everything he dreamed it would be? And what if it was, then what? XD So…yeah being nervous was probably a normal reaction. And then…that was it!!!! We got robbed. We got a bit of Izumi moaning over his nipples and tada we need to see what the kitchen looks like. Robbed. SO ROBBED folks!

Poor broken Izumi? SAVE HIM REI!

I am guessing the minute Izumi was…deflowered is when Shougo’s coffee mug broke. And that is when his spider sense about his brother went off. Like my little brother is in pain I must go rescue him. Shougo might want to take his senses to the doctor as Izumi was in danger earlier today and he didn’t even know it. But where would the fun be in that? Shougo bugs Rei enough times to spy…I mean check up on Izumi. Because tracking people is fun. I wish we had gotten one more Rei face of…Ohness when he realized where Izumi was and what he was probably doing. Rei lied to Shougo and basically promised him candy to get him to do his work. Well come over for dinner which Shougo was super happy about. This is the closest we have come to a moment between those two which I think is weird. I thought there was going to be a side story about them being in love but maybe I am wrong. Or it is coming. So yeah…Rei is okay with Izumi being flowered because that is what Izumi wanted. That and Rei got his way when it come to Izumi joining the industry so you know…

AWWW! I love boys crying. Well showing emotions instead of being all big and bad.

So how was it Izumi? The whole lets do it attitude? Out the window it seems. Ryouma is running a bath for Izumi as the kid is laying in bed unable to move without experiencing pain. So the conclusion is…the yaoi mangas that said it hurts the first time are the correct ones. Duh. Especially since I am guessing Ryouma didn’t have…well lube. Like okay time to stick it in because I am an excited man child. Izumi was probably too nervous and tense and yeah…not a moment to remember. Poor sad Izumi. How dare you hurt me I love you. Ryouma is like say what?! This is when Izumi realizes he sorta just demanded sex and didn’t really say the actual words I love you. So he puts the pain aside for a moment to tell Ryouma that he loves him and Ryouma cries! It is so sweet, that Ryouma has cared about Izumi and accepts him in any form and finally the feeling is mutual. Would have liked that feeling to happen before the elephants but you know..it happened. Izumi was touched and there was naked hugging . Yay love.

And then Izumi was famous. THE END.

Then….poof the series/season was over. Izumi watches Ryouma happily and talks about the doors to his future and how Ryouma was behind them. That he doesn’t know where he is going but Ryouma will help him out. We do see a few billboards with Izumi selling my products and a dude out front of a store looking a bit shady…but it is really up in the air what will happen next with Izumi. Oh also Izumi’s parents had a bit of a talk about Izumi but I really didn’t care since I feel as if Rei is the real parent. So yeah..that is it folks. Time to have sex and say I love as the series ends. The art was pretty great so I was happy about that. Could have been more realistic in terms of real world reactions to things but yeah…anime tends to not do that. So….will we get to see the rise of Izumi? Them having problems keeping their relationship hidden from the public? Possible new suitors? Izumi becoming an actual manga artist? I guess we will see one day…maybe. For now peace out!!!!

Love Stage episode 9

Err what.....what could Izumi be talking about?!

Is this post number 4 today? I think it is. And I have two Tokyo Ghoul posts at different levels of almost doneness that will probably get posted after the husband goes to bed. It is only fair he get the computer after work yes? So yes just moving right along with this special laptop and keyboard. Although I am liking the double screens the husband has for gaming. Makes it a lot easier to multitask. XD So for post number 4 here is Love Stage episode 9. Spoilers for Izumi almost being on the same level as Kim kardashian. You know, minus the being peed on sex tape.

Izumi: The Little Prince of Darkness is born.

Episode Summary: 2 days after the press conference and Izumi is still the talk of the town. Shougo and Ryouma get mentions but Izumi is the star. All the normal people in Japan are talking about this random new cutie. President and Assistant (of Ryouma) are happy they got out of this crises (even if President didn’t do much) and President thinks it is a good thing to be in debt to Rei and the others. HMMM! Ryouma is taking a shower because he is hot. When he exits he decides to watch some TV in his towel. Every single station seems to be about Izumi and his debut. People have different things to say about it. Some people talk about the family issues. Some people think he is cute. And some people think he is SUPER CUTE and want to take him out on a creepy dinner. Ryouma and his falling towel slowly realize that Izumi is now popular and people see how cute he is. This is bad for him. At the house Rei and the other two assistant people are super busy on the phone. Everyone wants to know and work with Izumi and everything is perfect for Rei. Well besides the fact that Izumi isn’t good at anything. When Izumi receives about the millionth package since his debut Rei starts to wonder what the kid is doing upstairs. He finds Izumi hunched over a computer doing some auction sites and that his entire room is full of Ryouma stuff. Even the shirt Izumi is wearing. Rei is like…do you like Ryouma? Blushing Izumi says of course not, this is all research. Rei says it is okay if Izumi likes Ryouma. Izumi gets confused while Rei is like YES date the current heartthrob of Japan and be more famous. Izumi is still confused on how he feels and Rei looks at him like a doting father before picking on him like an annoying big brother. Ryouma has made it to work but his mind is in the clouds as he runs into poles. During a break his coworkers and people on set approach him and ask about Izumi and if Ryouma can introduce them to the cutie. Ryouma starts to die inside as his worst nightmares are coming true. He decides that he will not introduce Izumi to anyone and pouts because Izumi is not his to steal away. 5 seconds later Rei and Izumi walk in. Rei is trying to introduce Izumi to new companies and what not. While everyone is happy to see Izumi Izumi is like RYOUMA and runs to him. Everyone then starts to flock to Izumi as Ryouma murders them in his mind. They want pics and answers and autographs from Izumi. It becomes too much from Ryouma and he runs out of the room dragging Izumi with him. Izumi demands to know what is going on as Ryouma shoves him in an empty room.

Oh snap is Ryouma's elephant about to make an appearance?!

Ryouma gets upset that things are already this way and Izumi has barely blinked his eyes. He is jealous how Izumi was smiling at everyone but Izumi is like…Rei told me to? Ryouma gets emotional, saying he is upset and feels as if he will lose Izumi. But Izumi isn’t his so…Ryouma wants an answer, what are they? He embraces Izumi and…..passes out. X___X He is rushed to the hospital for exhaustion. Actual exhaustion, not drugged out behavior. He is resting comfortably at the hospital and the rest of his activities have been cancelled for the day. Izumi looks sad but eventually allows Rei to take him home. He thinks about why Ryouma was like that and perhaps the stress over them caused it. Rei thinks he pressures Ryouma with the press conference. Rei tries to go about his business but notices Izumi is getting more and more packages again. He goes up to talk to the boy and is met with a face that looks like death. Turns out that Izumi has been buying every single yaoi manga in the universe and is disturbed that he doesn’t have a clear answer on something. He asks with an earnest heart…if boy on boy sex hurts. Rei is like X____X but decides to take it maturely and says it depends on such and such. Izumi gets too adorable for this dumb desktop to handle and asks how Rei thinks Ryouma sex will be. Rei decides to be honest and thinks it will hurt a little. Izumi has a meltdown and Rei knows he probably cock blocked Ryouma. Rei tries to brighten the mood by saying Ryouma has been released from the hospital but is still tired and resting at home. Izumi brightens and says…okay I will go hang out with my manga club friends. Rei is like WHAT THE HELL?!?! Apparently they already had plans today and besides…Izumi needs to figure out his feelings for Ryouma before he sees him again. Rei is okay with that and onward Izumi goes. He thinks on the bus/train about Ryouma and his feelings and all he has done. The manga club slowly starts to gather and wait for Izumi. Well while Izumi was on his way someone knocked his glasses off and suddenly everyone wants a piece of the cutie. He takes off running and Takahiro, who is obviously not LalaLulu creator, notices Izumi and goes after the kid. Izumi hides in a construction site waiting for everyone to give up looking for him. He looks for another way out and happens upon some thugs robbing a dude. They recognize Izumi and decide he would be more fun to play with. As Takahiro looks for Izumi the men start talking about finding out if Izumi is a girl or a boy. THE END! Oh lord I hate this desktop. HATES IT! How am I going to type on this thing? Everything looks and feels different. Change is horrible. Change is bad.  Lappy come back to me. MOG I tried to make a sad face and it turned into an actual face. HATES THIS!

I guess my life could be worse right now if someone stepped on my glasses....

Even word hates me. SAD FACE. But I guess I need to talk about this anime episode and not complain the rest of my life…you know…because Lappy is gone. How did this episode go? Not the way I thought it was going to go obviously. Because my name is Tenchi. I thought at one point Izumi was going to have to do some showbiz work you know….since he is in show biz now. But right now he is busy being famous for nothing. I think that is being infamous but who is splitting hairs here?

As the President rubs his hands together in evil glee.

Well….if I was going to be fair Izumi has been in two commercials. But other than that…he is what Ryouma hates. Someone who is riding coattails of famous relatives. This is a 3rd generation coattail going on now although the grandparents are rarely mentioned. The hype is alive, like Japan was ready for something exciting. Ryouma and the mystery girl was juicy but now this adorable kid rolls up and is related to all these people Japan already loves? It is time to rush the presses and get every pic we have of this kid out there. Izumi is the topic of the moment. Manager and his Assistant seems pleased. I guess if they wanted to they could have left Ryouma dangling in trouble over this girl but Rei used this to help Izumi….and Ryouma. Manager seems to think that this is a good thing that they are in debt to Izumi’s family so clearly something is up yes?

Put your glasses back on Izumi and only be cute for me!

Ryouma actually has a body you guys. Up until now it is has been Izumi losing his clothes left and right. But Ryouma does possess a body. Nice one too you know….He has to be deep in thought about Izumi while he is showering and since the audience hasn’t gotten any action yet we have to get some eye candy or we would riot in the streets. We almost got an eyeful when Ryouma dropped his towel on the ground out of shock. See as cute as Izumi was during the press conference and as happy as he is that Izumi took this step…Izumi took this step. Now the entire world has seen how gorgeous Izumi is. It’s like many classic animes and real life movies. Someone takes off their glasses and TADA they are gorgeous. Maybe the two other members of the manga club should take off their glasses. But yeah Izumi hasn’t really done anything yet but catch some flowers and run down an aisle and he is a total heartthrob. With everyone. Even older pervy men on TV. So no one is like OH Izumi is a boy how taboo. Izumi seems to have broken that rule or at least become the exception. Like usually we don’t approve but…Izumi. That or maybe it is 2014? Who knows. All I know is Ryouma is in shock that everyone in the universe is talking about his Izumi and realizes…it is not his Izumi. :( What if…someone takes him away?!

Even gravity is your rival!

While Ryouma is regretting helping Izumi come out as a perfect pop star Rei is like WOOHOO! Oh and now I know who those other two randoms that are…randomly in the house. The agency is run out of the house so they are other helpers. I guess Rei can’t be expected to do it alone. Especially now that they have 4 famous people in this family. Keep on ringing phone, we are in business. Show business. Sorta I should say. It seems like it was mainly people calling to congrads the family and see what is up. Rei kept saying Izumi’s schedule was full but since he has no jobs yet I am not sure how this is possible. Does the kid have to drop out of college now? Because Ryouma seems awfully busy with no school…..Yeah it was a lot of phone calls and suchies for maybe roles. Seems premature because no one has seen anything from Izumi besides his cuteness but that sells in Japan. Well in American too. Obviously.

I am going to go with nothing for the win?

There has to be a rain though. A rain on Rei’s parade. Can this computer please stop trying to correct my grammar? LEAVE ME BE! Let me be me! You can’t even help me spell words that I spell beyond wrong, I don’t care about my falling apart sentences. I would think that Rei would have noticed before this newest package that Izumi hasn’t left his room since the announcement. Like hmmmm now I actually have to make this talentless kid DO work and that might be the hard part. What if I bring great shame to the family now? Now I am not going to lie. I thought that Izumi was holed up in his room with his LalaLulu pillow having a moment. A long moment. All the lights and questions and attention was too much for him. He gives up show business. He is just too Izumiy and he is going to stay in his room forever. He is going to devote his life to LalaLulu. His brother will no longer be able to bribe him with merchandise if he buys it all first right? Brilliant plan Izumi. Your family can afford it, you don’t need worry yourself.

My Ryouma shirt? It is so I can sleep in it and absorb his awesome acting abilities. Duh.

So it turns out that Izumi was not buying LalaLulu merchandise. Or how to draw manga books. Instead he was buying every single piece of merchandise that had Ryouma on it. All of it. ALL OF IT! I am surprised Rei kept it together. Was it out of character for him to be…so honest though? I am mean he is honest but right off the bat? Like….err so you like Ryouma? Instead of asking Izumi questions and making Izumi see the truth himself Rei just flat out said it. I like that the boy lied though. I am doing research. Yes yes. I am new to the entertainment field and Ryouma is one of the best. Of course I need to study his work…and where shirts with his face on it…and plaster posters on the wall. I AM A SLAVE TO MY ART! Izumi really is a collector isn’t he?

I saw him first!!!!!

While Rei was helping Izumi win more Ryouma auctions Ryouma was busy running into poles at work. I wonder if people who watch his drama notice that all the crimes take place around this one neighborhood always. ALWAYS. Ryouma is unable to concentrate because he is thinking about how fabulous Izumi is and how more people will notice the cuteness. I like that Ryouma doesn’t get yelled at for messing up but then he is trolled when all his co-workers immediately surround him and ask about Izumi. Like thanks guys, wouldn’t want my biggest concerns to come true or anything. I like how no one assumed they were together despite the fact Izumi has made gay couples less of a stigma by simply existing. I mean…Ryouma and Izumi were in a park together. Clearly they are either in love or Ryouma just knows him and we need to use our co-worker to meet this new famous guy who has no work whatsoever to speak of.

You have created a monster!!!!

Right as Ryouma wanted to stop living Izumi and Rei come in. Despite Izumi getting tons of calls and Rei saying they are super busy Izumi has the time to come to studios and sets he is not invited to to put his face out there. I see. No one important talks to Izumi either. Well someone with the power to actually give Izumi a job. More over Ryouma, there is a new hottie in town. I like that Ryouma doesn’t realize he probably should be jealous or angry about the situation for different reasons. Instead Ryouma gets upset that Izumi is smiling at people (more like groped) and runs out with the boy to create another headline scandal. At least Ryouma told Izumi right away his concerns, that everyone sees Izumi as cute and he is jealous but doesn’t have the right to be jealous. Like you aren’t even mine and this is eating me inside. Briefly eating, not weeks at a time that usually happens in shows like this. Ryouma wants to know before Izumi hits it big if they are ever going to be anything or not? Tell me if I have a chance or I should drown my own troubles in LalaLulu merchandise. Before Ryouma can get his answer or undress Izumi for a half done blow job the dude passes out.

Clearly Izum is to blame for all of this.

Exhaustion folks. Here in the United States we have lots of celebs who go to the hospital for exhaustion. Usually right before or after they are caught with drugs or underage hookers and experiencing a DUI. So it was odd to see someone actually in the hospital for being tired. Ryouma works all the time and has been pulling all nighters to help Izumi with his manga. Add in the fact that Ryouma is losing sleep over his love being a mega cutie all over the magazines and Ryouma has run himself ragged. So sleep he shall get. I sorta feel bad for him as the celebs who go in for exhaustion here are barely working anyway while Ryouma is striking while the iron is hot which means work all the time. Izumi decides that this is his fault as he has toyed with Ryouma’s feelings and left the kid stressed and hanging. Rei thinks this is his fault because of the press conference. Err the press conference was going to happen anyway, Rei just found a way to profit off of it and make Ryouma look decent in the meantime. Either way sad faces all around.

The mean streets of Tokyo are starting to look better aren't they Rei?

Izumi holes himself up in him room and soon more and more packages are arriving at the door. Now Izumi must be ordering every single LalaLulu piece of merchandise to drown his sorrows right? Rei is on it though, going to nip this in the bud. Or or…Izumi comes to his door looking like death and reveals he has in fact bought every single yaoi manga out there ever. All of it. For research. On the butt sex. Izumi worded it much nicer and cuter than that but yes….he has decided he needs to read up on very reliable and informative male on male relationships that are in yaoi mangas. And for some reason he has also decided to include Rei in on this discussion as he assumes Rei is gay or at least bi now. Anime and manga are all very lovely but most of the time not very realistic when it comes to actual human things. Like boobies sizes and how much blood the human body can handle. Or if a penis can go into a butt with little to no prep at all and the person doesn’t bleed out on the streets from that encounter. But I guess Izumi found SOME mangas that said first times were not the things of rainbows and cupcakes. Rei…well was really mature and clinical about his answer. You know, size and experience and what not. Then Izumi turned on the cute and asked how he (Rei) thought Ryouma was going to be. When Rei answered honestly, that it might hurt a little (a little) Izumi started to embrace the straight side again. Somewhere Ryouma is sharpening his knife for Rei.

Where would you get a silly idea like that? Visiting Ryouma the man I want to have butt sex with....crazy!

Speaking of Ryouma…hommie is awake now. And out of the hospital. He is at home resting so Rei tells Izumi the good news. Clearly sex is off the table thanks to this amazing conversation but a visit would be nice. So color Rei surprised when Izumi smiles…and walks out the door to visit his manga club friends. Did that entire conversation not happen at all? Is Rei dreaming this all? Turns out Izumi already made plans with his hommies that he was probably going to skip due to his research but now Rei has made him feel more lifelike with his speech. Or unhelpful words. Plus…as Izumi blushes…he can’t just go see Ryouma now. Not when he doesn’t understand his feelings yet. So Izumi doesn’t know if he loves Ryouma but researched the butt sex just in case. I see now with my eyes. I would argue that Izumi should spend more time with Ryouma to get to know him as a person but I guess that would just be crazy talk or something.

Oh yeah Mr. Famous. No one in this group asks questions or really knows each other.

Speaking of crazy…the last bits of the episode were a bit insane. I really don’t care about the other two people in the manga club and their real names and why they donate blood. They get to the meeting area first and Takahiro joins them later. It is necessary to point out that Takahiro came from the opposite direction of his house because he in an otaku and he should come from his house and not his LalaLulu making studio. Silly excuses are silly. The crazy part is that no one talked about Izumi’s debut at all. I know these are supposed to be typical otaku people who never watch real TV and read mangas/watch anime all the time but you would think one of them would accidentally have heard about their friend becoming famous over night. Guess Takahiro was too busy working on his manga or what not.

Err let me just put my glasses on....

It is a good thing that Takahiro is observant. Izumi was making his way to the meeting point worrying about Ryouma’s feelings and his feelings when someone knocks off his glasses. Instantly it is revealed he is Superman and not Clark Kent and he is surrounded by people who want to have their pics taken with a nonfamous person. So Izumi has to run like the wind and ends up hiding in a construction site. Which we know from other animes is a very dangerous place to hide. This time is no exception as a robbery was already taking place when Izumi gets there. Since Izumi is no longer wearing his glasses these thugs know he is famous and this situation is better than the other person they were robbing. Instead of holding Izumi as random though it is better to get our second attempted sexual assault done and out of the way. So Izumi can realize when Ryouma touched him without his permission it meant something whereas these guys will just come across mean and scary. I see….so this is the action that is going to send Izumi running towards Ryouma. I SEE INDEED! We see Takahiro looking for Izumi in the background so maybe he will run and save the day. I thought it might be Ryouma but the clips for next week make it look like Ryouma is still at his home. So maybe it is just Takahiro who saves the day? Shougo? Rei? Will we have time to talk about Takahiro being LalaLulu’s author or is it going to be pushed aside so Izumi can realize his love for Ryouma and take it really fast in their relationship? Guess we will have to wait to find out. Until then…peace out!

Love Stage episode 8

Super glad this episode and DRAMAtical murder episode 7 were already on the blog waiting to get published and not lost in cyber space. X__X That would have been upsetting given how far behind I am already. I have priorities in life clearly people. Once I knew all my Disney pics were saved I went all NOOOOOO about the blog. XD Maybe this will be a sign....to get things done as fast as possible because technology can't be trusted. Maybe. Who knows with me. Thank you Love Stage episode 8 for being protected. I would like to point out my Lappy downloaded Love Stage episode 9...and then died. I SEE HOW IT IS!

I am sure Izumi is used to being in the shadows. Probably wants to go back to them....

So Love Stage episode 8. Almost one big recappy episode. Maybe that is why I have very few screenies of this episode since it was all the same crap from before. If you are tight on time just watch the last three minutes of this episode. Or ready my post. XD Because you know...that is why I am here. XD

Rei will cut a bitch. Into tiny little pieces!

Episode Summary: It is finally the day of the press conference....or so a narrator tells us. Rei is on stage introducing Ryouma to the crowd despite him not being the one in charge of Ryouma's agency. Ryouma seems to be the star of the show but in the wings Izumi waits in the wings. He is dressed in his Happy Wedding outfit and trying not to be nervous for his debut. The narrator tells us that Izumi comes from a super showbiz family so this is the natural course of things...even if it took a while. Two days before all of this took place Izumi was having a moment in his room. He can't be in love with Ryouma. Why would he say that to himself after the kiss? Is this really a BL manga after all? Izumi tries to convince himself he has LalaLulu and can't be in love with a man. This doesn't seem to hold water as Izumi squeals when he gets a text message from Ryouma. He throws a fit and his parents and Rei in the dining room are like.....is he having a moment? Oh well he will get over it. Rei seems to think the boy is worried about his showbiz debut. This debut was probably supposed to happen years ago but when Izumi filled in during his mother's commercial he sorta got way too nervous and peed himself, traumatizing him from attempting anything in showbiz again. Even though he has a super showbiz family he sorta got left in the dust. The parents march off to play golf and Izumi emerges from upstairs long enough to tell Rei he doesn't want to do the debut after all. Rei tries pointing out Izumi agreed to this and he has to go through it. Rei decides to show Izumi a tape explaining why he is the way he is. I mean...everyone else is famous and super. Why isn't Izumi? Well maybe Izumi is an otaku shut in because Shougo spoiled him his entire life. The family must have walked around with a video camera taping every single one of these moments. Shougo in his studio complaining that he isn't the only one who spoiled Izumi his entire life. Flashbacks show Izumi coming home from school one day and Rei basically waiting on him hand and foot. Izumi also told Ryouma recently how Rei acted like a second mother to him on the ride back to his house after running away. He goes on and on about what Rei does for him. Izumi seems to think that this protectiveness started when he was 9 and went off with a stranger than had candy. A younger Rei came out of nowhere and beat the man silly for trying to steal the family's Izumi. Ryouma slowly starts to realize if he wants to date Izumi he needs to please this man too. So yeah...Izumi's growth has been stunted.

Guess Rei didn't always use to be so clean cut.

The next day, the day before the debut Izumi is still having doubts and Rei is walking around the city. Earlier in the day (or week) Rei met with the President of Ryouma's agency. Despite the press conference also being about Ryouma Rei wants to be the emcee as he thinks it will help Izumi deal with the stress. The President is okay with these and the two men take turns thanking each other for getting out of this mess. President offers Ryouma a job at his agency as there is no room to grow at Father's. Rei respectful says no and leaves. President is okay with that because it makes Rei all the more valuable. As Rei is walking away from this encounter he passes a street and has some memories. Apparently something bad happened to him when he was around 18 years old and he was left all beat up in the alley. Everyone passed him by but a younger Father who took him in. Now all these years later Father is telling Rei that they need to get Izumi to spread his wings and fly, that he has great potential. Rei relays to Izumi that his father really believes in him which makes Izumi pumped and full of love. He can this! The day of the press conference arrives as well as the magazine release of Ryouma and the mystery girl. Everyone is jealous and what not of this girl and the press is eating it all up. Izumi sees all this attention and loses his cool on going through with this. Rei is banging on the door demanding that Izumi go through with it. Ryouma sending a text saying he is waiting on the boy makes Izumi brave enough to walk out the door. For some reason the parents don't go with Izumi and Rei to the hotel. Ryouma is already waiting there with the glam squad and his manager. Rei and Izumi arrive with Shougo in tow. Izumi is being nervous so Ryouma checks his temperature via forehead. This leads to Shougo and Ryouma having a pissing contest while Izumi is taken away to become a pretty girl. Izumi comes out looking adorable and Shougo and Ryouma almost fight again but decide to join forces to help Izumi out. While waiting to go on stage Izumi starts to get super nervous again. Since Ryouma no longer has his good luck charm...he kisses Izumi instead. XD And he offers up more kisses in the future if Izumi needs more good luck. Ryouma goes on stage and Izumi realizes his heart is beating fast for different reasons now. The narrator informs us this is the start of a new life for Izumi. Rei introduces Ryouma first on stage and he apologizes for all the commotion he has caused recently. He would like to explain his relationship with the person they saw in the magazine. Ryouma seems to falter a bit but Rei gets Izumi introduced and on stage in the wedding dress. Everyone is like MOG Happy Wedding girl you must be engaged right?! Ryouma says they are just friends and no one believes them. So Izumi rips off his clothes and reveals he is a boy. Shougo joins the stage and says that TADA this is his little brother and his show biz debut. It is flashing lights time for Izumi. THE END!

But first...lets recap how Izumi came to be.

Hmmmm.....this episode was super odd. Isn't this series really short? Well season anyway. Like 10 episodes? So why are we wasting our time on a half recappy kind of episode? Ain't nobody got time for that. Maybe since the manga is ongoing we do have time for that? Especially if we are going to stretch this out to another season. I don't know, it just felt super odd to me.

Because I might have forgotten...

Maybe because of how it was narrated. Instead of just showing the recaps and allowing the other characters tell us all the recappy stuff we have these random voices telling us what is going on. In a very dramatic fashion. Like let us tell you the dramatic story of Izumi, the boy who lived...and fell in love with Ryouma. I don't know, it just felt odd. Maybe that was the point, to poke fun at recappy episodes and to build this all up? The thing is....we saw the end of the episode at the beginning and Izumi being all nervous wasn't all that dramatic. More like expected. Just.....a bit off the norm and it made everything seems silly, forced, and odd. But I guess something different is always good right?

Oh that Izumi...so crazy...

While Izumi's debut is quickly approaching (or already here) Izumi has other concerns going on in his head. Can't really blame the boy. Just a short week ago Ryouma was scaring the crap out of him on his own couch. Now Ryouma is helping him with his manga, hiding him from real life, and giving out romantic kisses that will stop at kisses unless Izumi really wants it. And this time...Izumi felt something. Unlike the other two times where he was crying his eyes out and hating the world. Ryouma kissed him and informed him that they are not siblings. Ryouma loves Izumi. And Izumi felt something inside of him that might be love. Love? Is this a Boy Love manga after all?! But what about his unhealthy obsession with LalaLulu?! That has to count for something right? He doesn't like boys at all. Just girls. All is well in the world. So when Ryouma texts Izumi and a smile hits his face with a little squeal....yeah denial folks. Denial.

Izumi is a little slow on the uptake.

Izumi screams in frustration as he kissed a boy and liked it. His parents and Rei overhear the boy as they go about their day and go...yeah that is just Izumi freaking out again. He must be worried for his show biz debut that is a long time coming for this family. This leads to a walk down memory lane and a reminder that Izumi is from a super famous show biz family. I think Izumi gets it by now. Everyone in his family is famous but him. I would argue that probably has to do with why Izumi is the way he is. Yes the other things they talked about later have something to do with it too but when you are born into a super star family things usually go two ways. You either want to bask in the spot light as well or hide away from it all in the darkness. So everyone being so talented and successful probably played a part in why Izumi is the way he is. Because no matter what he is wearing he is adorable. Just...you know the shut in aspect of Izumi. So thanks for reminding us again how famous everyone really is.

Maybe Izumi wanted to be where he was?

After the parents leave for golf (because why would they parent their own kid when Rei is on their pay roll) Izumi comes downstairs and is like I really can't do this Rei, please don't make me do this debut thing. Well Izumi....you made this silly promise that if you awful manga flopped you would agree to make your entertainment debut. Because you have enough talent to smile in a commercial. I would be super nervous too but whatevers. Rei is like um no. Mainly because he already promised. I do think that this is rather special and full of anime magic as Izumi could flop and that would make the family look bad wouldn't it? Like oh no that black sheep has tainted the entire family. So yeah insisting that Izumi has this debut seems to be the focus of all. There will be a time after the debut where Izumi will have to do actual work. He might get some jobs based on his family connections alone which I am sure will make Ryouma super happy but then he will have to shine on his own. Without a good luck charm.

Too cute for words!

The best way to make Izumi go through with the debut is to apparently show him a home video of how everyone in his life is a contributor to why he is a shut in otaku. Yeah I am not sure how that helps. Maybe like hey Izumi don't feel bad about being this way...we did this to you. Also we are going to overlook the fact that people were running around taping these seemingly boring and not tape worthy moments. Well maybe not the Shougo ones. Izumi was pretty adorable when he was a kid so I can see the parents taping him all the time. Most of the blame seems to be given to Shougo and it seems obvious why. I think it would be more obvious if Izumi was a giant baby unable to do anything for himself (like...oh house work) than a shut in but you know. Shougo was such a doting brother. I will eat all your veggies and buy you ice cream and do your homework. All so cute. So it was stuff we already knew but expanded with new adorable scenes of baby Izumi cuteness.

Rei, can you bring me some tea? I have some major squeeing to do and can't be bothered to get my own.

Despite the fact that Rei was telling/showing this to Izumi about Shougo...apparently he needs to be watching where the fingers are pointed. Because there are going to be some fingers pointed back at him. Shougo sorta....dots on his little brother to the point of overload. Like whatever you want I will give you. It appears that Rei is doing the same thing too but in a different sense. Rei does everything for the boy. Izumi comes home from school and Rei is immediately on him. You need some snacks? A back rub? Your bath is drawn. Here let me get you your slippers. Yeah...Rei does every little thing for Izumi and Shougo gives him whatever he wants. Sounds like Izumi should be a lot more spoiled than he is. At least the kid goes to school!

But I want Izumi kisses, not insane Ryouma!

This all transitions into a funny flashback between Izumi and Ryouma. You know from the other day when Izumi decided he wanted to come back home and not run away anymore at Ryouma. I guess Izumi was talking about how he was scared of Rei. How apologizing to Rei was going to be scary. This lead Ryouma who wants to actually be apart of Izumi's family to ask questions. Instead of sounding scary Rei ended up sounding like a helicopter parent. He does everything for me indeed. Ryouma seemed to not understand the point. Izumi thinks that Rei became over the top protective because once a stranger gave him candy and he was almost kidnapped. Oh Izumi.....candy is so lovely but don't go off with strangers because of it. I am going to assume that Rei was new to this assistant gig and was still a little rough around the edges. Because he came out of nowhere and manhandled that kidnapper. Don't touch my Izumi no matter what!!! So now Ryouma dreams of getting with Izumi are being smashed into ground even more. He has to convince Izumi...he is a lover not a rapist. He has to convince Shougo not to bash his head in for kissing cute little brother. And now he has to convince Rei to not channel his younger self and beat Ryouma silly. So Ryouma is all nervous while present day Izumi is like see Rei you are a scary person too.

Stare at me all you want, I ain't joining you.

But Rei is also loyal. Super loyal. And there seems to be a reason behind this loyalness. I am going to guess when Rei was a younger person, a teenager, he was in with a bad crowd. Maybe he didn't even graduate high school or he did and became a bum. Someone a bit dodging. He got into fights all the time and he seemed to have given up on life. Suddenly Izumi's dad found him and I am going to also assume took him in. Come live with us and we will take care of you if you do a few things for us. Rei was probably in shock such a famous family wanted him. And while Shougo is a bit...out there baby Izumi was too cute to not to help. So this fast forwards to Rei talking to the President of Rei's company. They are working together for this press conference even though it is really is only Ryouma's issue. Rei wants to help make Izumi less nervous and both guys are like many thanks for doing me a favor when in reality the other party is gaining from this as well. President seems a lot calmer today, not when he was losing his crap all over Ryouma. He seems to want Rei to work for the company, impressed by his work to deal with these crazy situations and turn them into positives. This all probably sounds good to anyone else in Japan, moving to a bigger company. But Rei has memories and loyalty with this family and he isn't going nowhere. 

Finally it is the day of the press conference. The reason this press conference is going on is because the magazine is releasing pics of Ryouma and Izumi. Talking. In the park. It must be a really slow news day in Japan because this isn't even interesting. Call me when Ryouma is leaving a love hotel with a half naked girl. But yeah the magazine is released and everyone loses their mind. Who is this mystery girl?! Why isn't he with me? Why does this pretty girl look exactly like a boy? The President is enjoying this attention and probably wants it to be bigger and better. His Assistant calms him down and things keep on trucking. Ryouma is slightly nervous but gets his happy but to the hotel to wait for his lovely Izumi. All is going well. 

Except Izumi gets nervous. Of course Izumi got nervous. Was someone expecting it to go a different way? He woke up that morning and realized what a big deal it was because nothing else was going on in the news. I really love how Rei is the one there for him as the parents are nowhere to be seen. Since Shougo is there obviously the family ties are meant to help Izumi along. So why not make it a family affair? Craziness I tell you. Izumi has his moment in his room where he thinks he can't do this and Rei has his moment of thinking the best course of action is busting down a door and dragging Izumi to pee himself silly on stage. That sounds like great fun. I like how Izumi ends up going to the press conference not for himself but for Ryouma. They got to clear that man's name. Ryouma is counting on him. Look the text messages!

Oh NOW Shougo wants to act like a big brother....

I like how Rei has this all planned out to a dramatic degree. Like Izumi is going to come out in drag and shock people. We can't have Izumi coming out looking like a dude. No one would believe us. To hair and makeup now as Ryouma and Shougo take their penises out and duel each other to see who gets to take care of Izumi. Seriously Shougo has a problem with Ryouma checking Izumi's temperature via the forehead. He threw more of a fit over than then the fact that Ryouma and Izumi's elephant were friends on the couch at home. Shougo is insane. Ryouma and Shougo come to a decision that they need to work together for Izumi and support him in all his cross dressing ways.

A kiss for good luck?

Rei leaves to go introduce people and get things started which leaves Ryouma and Izumi alone. Once again the jitters take over Izumi and his nonready for showbiz self. Like cannot concentrate. I like that Ryouma took a moment to think how he could calm down Izumi before actually kissing the boy. There was a bit of thought behind it. Not like whelp gotta kiss Izumi now, I have no other choice. XD Because the good luck charm was murdered. I am not sure how Ryouma thought that was going to calm down Izumi. It sorta just transferred the jitters over to Izumi having the feelings for Ryouma. Like thanks I am supposed to be a star right now and all I can think about is you and your lips.

See. This is totally less scandalous.

The entire episode revolved around the press conference and it lasted about 5 seconds. Rei brings Ryouma on stage who falsely apologizes for people being in his business. Ryouma wasn't as cool as he usually is. Maybe because he actually likes Izumi and saying the boy is just his friend isn't really the truth either. Rei pulls it together and brings cross dressing Izumi out so more people can gossip and what not. Then...the big dramatic reveal. Izumi is a boy. OF COURSE THEY ARE JUST FRIENDS NOW! Because....we can't dwell on the fact boy on boy action might be more scandals. Then Shougo comes onstage to WISH us or what not and introduce his little brother who is going to be a super star now. Izumi...well he looks out of his element and overwhelmed. A look that he will be wearing for a long time to come now. YAY Izumi! Thanks recap episode for about 5 minutes of new footage. Love Stage episode 7

What has happened to Izumi?! Will he survive the end of the episode?!

Post number 3 of the night I am on a roll. XD Go me. Because making one post a day would be insane, letting people know that I am alive and trying to keep on track. PSHT! It is better to fall way behind and bombard everyone with tons of posts at once. Cross of lots of to do things on my trusty list. Yeah I am a good. But lets get to it, this Love Stage episode 7 post. Spoilers for Izumi actually getting a clue and realizing other people exist on this planet.

Ryouma has feelings too. It isn't black and white uke and seme up in here.

Episode Summary: Izumi lays on the bed and tells Ryouma he can do whatever he wants with him. He turns the drama up a bit more with throwing his arms to the side. Ryouma tells Izumi that he isn't going to stop now and it will be Izumi's fault. Thus begins the sparkly making out moment of censorship. It is unknown how much attention Izumi received but there was...stuff happening. Ryouma seemed to be enjoying himself when he looks up and sees tears in Izumi's eyes. He throws himself off of Izumi and runs to the corner. Izumi is like what are you doing? Ryouma says that he really loves Izumi and hurting his feelings like this is awful. He runs to the bathroom to think about how big of a mistake it was to stop, his once in a lifetime chance of Izumi sex. Izumi is like...whatever and goes back to bed. Ryouma calms down enough to put the food in the fridge and write Izumi a note. He sees the manga on the counter and takes it downstairs to his manager's car. He then asks for a super huge favor. Elsewhere in the world Rei looks like death. Super death. He hasn't gotten any sleep in days and has sent Izumi about a million text messages. He hasn't told the family that Izumi has gone missing, just that he is at a friend's house. For some reason they buy this lie even though they thought Izumi was a sad little otaku who has no friends. If Izumi has not returned by nightfall Rei will be forced to call the police. He is once sad manager. Back at Ryouma's place Izumi is having a dream about LalaLulu that lasts the whole episode, even when he is awake as if to tell the story of what is going on with Izumi. LalaLulu has an enemy that used to be a friend but she turned to the dark side. LalaLulu has promised to save this friend. Now the friend has gotten Izumi the...whatever to turn to the dark side as well. He no longer believes in hopes and dreams, all there is is suffering and what not. Izumi wakes up in the middle of this dream feeling all weird. He has slept til 6 pm so he goes looking for food. He finds his breakfast in the fridge as well as an apology note from Ryouma about the half sexy times and his clothes all washed for him. As he eats he starts to cry as he realizes Ryouma is a really nice guy and all he has done is take advantage of the situation. He knows he has to to go home...but after he eats this lovely meal. He does eventually turn on his phone and sees that Rei has called a million times and texted about 19 million. Izumi thinks they are going to be angry messages but in reality they are just Rei talking about how worried he is and please come home, that Izumi can do whatever he wants just come home. Izumi has the tears about Rei caring so much for him as well.

Ryouma is really trying to earn those brownie points isn't he?

Ryouma eventually comes home to work to a house that Izumi cleaned. Izumi has never cleaned before in his life so it is less than awesome. Izumi seems pleased so Ryouma doesn't mention it. Ryouma sorta wants to ask about staying forever but seems on board with Izumi going home to the family. He gives the boy his manga folder with a note from LalaLulu's manga story author person. Izumi is in shock that Ryouma saw the famous author and Ryouma plays it off as no big deal. In reality it was a huge deal. His manager said no to the idea at first. Then said they had no pull in that industry. Ryouma was going to the magazine headquarters anyway for a different article so he begged and begged to see someone in the manga department. After hearing a no from them Ryouma did his famous bowing to the extreme on the floor and poof LalaLulu's author saw Izumi's sad work and wrote a message for the kid. It says that Izumi must be rather young as the work is not up to par. But that once the person gets more life experience and sees different things there is sure to be an improvement and to never give up. Izumi is so touched by the kind words and that Ryouma did this for him. Ryouma didn't want Izumi to give up on his dream and since Izumi helped him through the dark times Ryouma wanted to return the favor. Izumi is like okay...I will go back home and stop worrying people. And to get more life experience I will....make my showbiz debut. Um okay logic. Ryouma offers to go with Izumi to make the apology as Ryouma hid the kid at this house. They both bow to Rei and are super sorry. Rei breaks into tears and hugs the Izumi kid...then passes out from all the stress and lack of sleep. The other assistants in the house explain how rough it has been on Rei and put the man to bed. Ryouma tried to leave the house to give the family time but Izumi catches him out the door, saying he needs more thanks. Izumi lists all the things he likes about Ryouma and basically says...you are like my big brother. Ryouma is like.....dude that is not where I want to be. Izumi thanks him for all his help and blah blah and Ryouma goes to leave...when he runs back to give Izumi a kiss and a message that he is NOT Izumi's brother. He leaves and Izumi gets all blushy, wondering if this is love. THE END!

Okay some growth. Not totally aware....

Wow. Izumi went through a lot of growth in a period of 12 hours or so. X__X Of course if this was in the real world I would still be calling for Ryouma's head because hello assault but you know....things have really turned around for these two. A lot. Izumi might have gotten some delusional praise this episode which resulted in some....random life choice but overall it was a good episode for both the boys. If I was to forgive Ryouma he really stepped up to the plate this episode.

Izumi really knows how to set the mood doesn't he?

Of course we do have to start with Izumi and his dramatic antics in bed though. Ryouma suggested that maybe Izumi could live there forever (or another night) but on the condition that Rei is called. Ryouma is only two years older than Izumi but is about 10 years more mature. Rei might be annoying but he is worried about the boy (and his job). Izumi reacts by saying no and Ryouma points out that Izumi being there wearing his boyfriend shirt is way too tempting. Ryouma might be doing it to himself at this point always helping Izumi and being around him but Ryouma can only be so strong before the urge to look at the elephant takes over. Izumi response of course was dramatic. Like take me, my life has no meaning anyway. Might as well give you my body since my hopes and dreams didn't turn out for the best. I am not sure what Ryouma was thinking by actually taking the boy up on his offer. Like hot damn thanks for the meal or let me show you a lesson, that you need to be careful with what you say because someone other than me might take you one day. Ryouma and the sparkle that was this foreplay lasted about 5 seconds. It is unknown if....let me see how to word this....if Izumi was...pleasured as it didn't last that long. I am going with yes but very briefly.

Ryouma has yet to be touched or take off any of his clothing.

So far in these encounters if anyone was feeling...good it has been Izumi. Ryouma hasn't gotten to the point where he has gotten anything out of the deal. Probably because doing this kind of activity when the other person is crying sucks. Like whelp since I am not an insane person watching someone cry during sexy times is a turn off. Ryouma is in love with Izumi this time and wants to do this with happiness and flowers and all the yaoi trimmings. It sorta takes away from the magic when Izumi says have at it but hides his face and can't....er...show appreciation for the action. So Ryouma pulled back before anything major could happen. He did so because he doesn't want to be the bad guy and because Izumi needs to hear the truth. All the harsh truth coming at him in the past 24 hours. Izumi saying casually that Ryouma can have him was hurtful to Ryouma as the man has real feelings for Izumi. It isn't a joke or no big deal for the man. That when Izumi does and say things Ryouma has a different sorta of feeling towards it. Ryouma might have acted a bit dramatic running out of the room but he said what he needed to say and what Izumi needed to hear. That Izumi isn't the only one that matters in this situation. Good job Ryouma for being strong. We will just ignore that moment in the bathroom when you think to yourself that a golden opportunity has passed you by.

Meanwhile Ryouma wants to drown himself.

Despite the fact that Izumi is playing with his emotions...Ryouma is still pretty awesome. He had already made the breakfast for Izumi before all this sex stuff came up. Even though the man was going to be late for work Ryouma took the time to put away the breakfast that upset Izumi was going to let go to waste. I would have slapped someone upside the head if I made someone breakfast and they didn't eat it. Well...if it looked good. I am not exactly the world's best cook. And Ryouma did something else that was a bit magical. Besides the fact that he left a note taking most of the responsibility for the incident, about going too far. Ryouma took the manga of horror and awfulness and decided to do something to help the boy. We didn't find out until later in the episode but it was really nice. Izumi was being a little brat and acting spoiled so....Ryouma did something to spoil Izumi more but also give him a bit of something. Something that Izumi gave to Ryouma all those years ago by accident.

How has my life turned out like this?!

Rei spent the entire day wanting to kill himself and being sleep deprived. I am surprised he was able to keep it a secret for so long. Didn't anyone in his family care? Well I guess since Rei lied and said the boy was at a friend's house there was no reason to worry. A bit of suspicion since Izumi has no friends and is going to die alone in life but you know...not too much worry there. Rei had already pulled an all nighter trying to get ahead of this Ryouma and Izumi love story issue. He spent another night worrying that Izumi was out in the world being lost, kidnapped, or dead. Poor Rei. Much too young to be worrying to this extent. I am having a feeling that Rei did a lot of the Izumi raising and not the actual famous parents. I like how Rei had a balance of anger and worry. I know that 18 isn't officially an adult in Japan but the kid is in college so how man can you be if he is out there doing his own thing? I guess the worry comes into play that this is Izumi and he has no bag on him at all.

First step to humanhood: Realizing your actions affect others.

Izumi slept the day away. When I sleep way too much in one day I wake up feeling awful and sleepy still. If I had to pick (because both options are bad) between not getting enough sleep and getting too much sleep I probably pick not enough. You can always nap later. But the feeling of being blah all day would be too much. Maybe Izumi needed the sleep from all the hard work he did on his manga and stayed up late. Plus getting your heart broken is pretty draining as well. Izumi woke up and immediately ate the food that Ryouma made him for breakfast. Due to anime magic the food tasted good reheated. Soon after Izumi woke up there were tears. And not for himself which is where the real growth came from. They were tears for Ryouma. Izumi finally realized he has been treating Ryouma like crap. Yes Ryouma did something awful to him at the house. But since Izumi listened to the man and invited him into his life Izumi has been treating him with disregard. Once there was forgiveness and the promise of friendship I think Izumi should have wiped the slate clean. Ryouma being in love and wanting to please Izumi kept giving and giving. Like stay up late and help me with my manga. Let me stay at your house and keep my secret from Rei. Who cares if you really love me, have awful sex with me. Izumi knew that Ryouma liked him and took advantage of the situation, being all WOW Ryouma is a great friend. That wasn't really what Ryouma was doing and Izumi took advantage of that. So hurting Ryouma hit home to Izumi and there were tears that Izumi did something to hurt a man that has been so good to him (after the fact). Eat that food with tears and resolve that you will be better next time.

Ryouma really is ready to do the super bow at a moment's notice.

Ryouma is a hard working individual. Some people in the entertainment industry seem to make money off of partying and doing nothing. Like look at me I make millions for singing one song. Ryouma seems to be one of the hard working types that are all over the place to get to more places that will lead to better work. A hard working entertainment person. So when Ryouma does favors they really mean something. Izumi started to realize that earlier in the day with Ryouma still being at work and being tired from all the manga work. But Ryouma does things and downplays them later. Like oh it was nothing that I got your favorite manga artists to review your terrible work. It wasn't like I had to pull strings and beg for favors and prostate myself in front of an editor for 5 seconds with the LalaLulu super star. No no it was really easy...super easy. Yep nothing at all that I am super amazing and got the impossible done. It must be love folks.

Please don't give up Izumi as you gave me hope in my dark hours too. Everyone say AWWW!

So why would Ryouma do this for Izumi? Well for love like I already said. Buy why would Ryouma risk favors and falling out in a certain industry just so a famous manga artist can review really bad work? To give Izumi hope. Because Ryouma had a dream once. *cue the Rapunzel music * Thinking about Izumi gave Ryouma the strength to go on in the showbiz industry. Ryouma thought that maybe Izumi needed some encouragement from his idol. Now...Mr. LalaLulu (or she, whoever) was very kind to Izumi as this entire thing could have gone sour. Like look kid you suck and Ryouma wasted a valuable favor on me reviewing this crap. I really don't see Izumi improving at all even if he traveled the world and was all sorts of different things. Some jobs you can get better at and others you need talent. I don't think Izumi has any talent. But this manga artist isn't blinded by love and maybe was speaking the truth, he wasn't the best in his industry when he first started out. That Izumi is just young and has the passion, just needs to channel it better and experience new things. So this all worked out well for Ryouma, that his idea to give Izumi hope and encouragement from his beloved idol.

Wait what...how does this add up?!

Izumi was already touched by Ryouma already during the day while eating the food. That Ryouma really is a great person. But when Ryouma comes in with that letter from the manga artist...I am pretty sure it was game over. What do you mean Ryouma came to my house and did something awful to me? This man is truly perfect and thoughtful and blah blah. So with Ryouma's kind actions and the knowledge that Rei really does care about him as evident by the millions of phone calls and text messages that weren't anger laced.....Izumi had a lot of things in his eye this episode. Everyone just wants the best for me even when I haven't really done much for them. He didn't know he was Ryouma's inspiration. So...for some reason...Izumi has decided that to become a better manga artist means he should take up Rei's suggestion and make his showbiz debut. Like how my sentences didn't really match up there? Yeah that is how it went down folks. The train of thought in Izumi's head was a bit off. Way off. How does a equal cheese? I get he was told to get out and see the world but you know...traveling could do the same thing. Studying overseas. Actually going to a manga studio to see how others draw. Maybe take some anatomy classes. But...joining showbiz where you have the nerves and shakes at the thought of being the center of attention? How is that going to help Izumi at all? I feel as if this was going to be the naturally path for Izumi, he was meant to be an entertainer no matter what and the reason behind it is paper thin. Just...odd.

This poor man needs a good...days sleep now. XD

Now that Izumi has new inspiration, friend, and fresh clothes it is on to home to see Rei. Well at the rest of the family too but only Rei knows it is a big deal. I like that Ryouma went along too putting aside the romance. He did it because he had a part in making Rei worry. I think if it had been anyone else Rei would have been overeating but it does seem that Izumi doesn't have many life skills. I say that and I can't fix anything in my house and I hate cooking. Putting that aside Izumi and Ryouma did a very polite and sincere bow of apology. I am not sure how much of this Rei saw as he passed out shortly afterward. Some assistant or another put the man to bed. How many does this house have? Maybe they need to work a little harder if Rei is always around and I don't know who they are. But Rei is better now folks. He really cares for this kid. Maybe he will wake up and give Izumi the lecture he deserves tomorrow.

Does this feel like an older brother kiss? And...maybe don't answer that.

For now Izumi needs to say goodnight and thank you to Ryouma who once again was being respectful and trying to leave quietly. Ryouma might have had a tantrum after the commercial but besides that he has really been pretty mature. Although who cares about how Izumi looks or dresses yes? But yeah Izumi had to talk to Ryouma some more and while the kid thought he was being nice...he sorta stabbed Ryouma in the heart. Like you do so much for me...like my big brother! Like I am surprised that Ryouma didn't die right then and there. I like that Ryouma started to leave but came back for a kiss and to clarify this was not a big brother relationship. That he loves Izumi. No pressure I guess but there was kisses so you know.....Instead of getting upset or trying to ignore the situation Izumi got all blushy face and thought about how he felt about Ryouma. Ryouma keeps doing nice things for him which can make you happy about a person but of course it is more than that right? Right Izumi?

Izumi is dramatic even in his dreams.

I think that is about it for this episode. Izumi joining the showbiz industry seems odd especially since Ryouma hates coat riders and that is all that Izumi seems to have going for him. Unless he is going to premier in the drag queen area of showbiz. I didn't touch much or finish talking about the LalaLulu dream. Izumi's state of mind played out in LalaLulu land again. He went to the dark side with LalaLulu's former friend and the super heroine even got hurt. But soon Izumi saw the light and was saved. He brings in dreams again folks. Now we can look forward to super star Izumi? How will that work without a good luck charm? Ryouma needs to be around all the time now? Guess we will find out next time!
