Kore wa Zombie Desu ka? of the dead episode 10...Season Finale?!

Hello there my lovely readers. Is it time to see Prometheus yet? Because it needs to be! Silly husband and his silly work making him unavailable all the time. Wants to see it NOOOOOW! For now I will take advantage of some of the other stations playing the older movies now. Do you know some of my…..coworkers think seeing the Alien movie franchise starts with Alien verses Predator? GET OFF MY LAWN KIDS!

You're not sick. Just confused on what you just watched.

So while I am waiting and in between movies….anime time! This time it is Kore wa Zombie Desu ka? of the dead episode 10. Season…Finale. Well except for some random episode that will have nothing to do with anything but does that really count? Spoilers for….yeah this being it folks.

Pay not attention to your missing homeroom teacher HAHAHA!

Episode Summary: Ayumu’s class is explained that their teacher is sick (or you know Chris) so they will have a new substitute teacher…Ariel. Ayumu like wtf is my life about?! During break Ayumu confronts Ariel. She is worried that in Ayumu’s current state Chris will kick his ass. So she needs to turn him into a more powerful magical girl. Ayumu explains to the girls that if he fails to past Ariel’s magical girl test his memories will be erased. Haruna is the most upset about this erasure deal and tells Ayumu to pass or else. The next day Haruna ends up being a teacher at Ayumu’s school. Ayumu is like wtf as Haruna starts to teach the class how to make her magical eggs. Instead she ends up making slime that eats people’s clothes besides their underwear and socks. Most of the class escapes into the hallway while Ayumu risks losing his clothes to rescue the stranglers. He can’t save Haruna and they both start to drown until Ariel intervenes. This turns out to be Ariel’s test and she erases his memories. Sera, Eucliwood, and Haruna are devastated as they talk with Ariel in Ayumu’s house. Ayumu is like um who are you? The girls decide it is not better for Ayumu to be safe and he needs his memories back. Ariel decides she will give the girls until she finishes her tea to try and get Ayumu to remember them.

They all travel into the film strip of his crazy mind. They stumble upon Ayumu trying to remember his own past and they take the cut out figure with them. They end up at some sort of concert hall. Suddenly all different Ayumus…or pieces of his personality appear. All are very stylish and unAyumu like. Finding them too disgusting for words Haruna transforms and kicks them all unconscious. They proceed onwards where they find a normal looking Ayumu. But he turns out to be the sloth version of Ayumu and he has been waiting to escape for many years. And escape he does with his unbutton shirt. He marches on to school as the girls were slow to escape Ayumu’s mind. At school the Alternate Ayumu scares his classmates with his new attitude. Ariel shows up and tells everyone to ignore him. Well this might be hard to do when the girls show up demanding back the real Ayumu. Alternate Ayumu starts talking about love and what not. Alternate Ayumu gets kicked outside in the field where Eucliwood transforms into a magical girl. She weakly fights against Alternate Ayumu. He makes fun of her a bit and suddenly she turns the chainsaw on…in Alternate Ayumu’s body. She starts showing Alternate Ayumu the notes she wrote to him before and he starts to remember. Haruna helps with the splattering of Ayumu and finally Ayumu gets his memories back. Life gets back to normal and Nene informs Chris of the situation. A brand new girl is seen talking about Ayumu and…THE END!

Why is she calling him this now?

How…what?...What? How the heck am I supposed to blog about this hot mess? HOT MESS FOLKS!!!! I feel as if I watched 6 episodes in 25 short minutes. At some points in this show it felt like a super long movie and then in other parts it felt like it was going by at the speed of fast and my mind wasn’t understanding it all. Because it was a hot mess. Way to end the “season”.

And I will help you train by teaching you how to make eggs!

Yes “season”. Because obviously there has to be a season three. Obviously. Of course. Why not just make season two longer and feel more complete? Why rush to get a second season out so fast if you were just going to half ass it? Riding on the success of season one I guess. Didn’t want to lose out on money or leave viewers sitting by waiting. I don’t know how that is going to be popular. It would have made way more sense to have a longer season two. Have the first 7 episodes be all lalala as they were then start to make things more interesting and then conclude the series in a logical manner!

Can't we just ask Nene again?

Am I doing a good job explaining why leaving us hanging after 3 real episodes of plot sits bad with me? Does this episode even count as plot? I don’t know. I rather just watch everything all at once. That way this episode wouldn’t feel like a rushed piece of crap. Maybe if this episode was spaced out over several episodes giving more time to all the elements it would have been better.

Like Haruna randomly being a teacher. Or Ariel wanting to test Ayumu. He fails to rescue Haruna from the slime she created and he automatically failed? How fair is that? He did save the other two girls and it wasn’t like he had drown yet. It was all just random and special. How was Haruna going to help train him to be a magical girl again? Being a teacher of delicious eggs is going to help him…how? Maybe if there had been more time dedicated to Haruna trying to help and making things worse and Ariel having a running list of Ayumu’s failures it would have been…well obviously it would have been still weird but less rushed. Like they were just rushing through major plot points but couldn’t be bothered to spend more than 5 seconds on each.

Less fanservice and more focus on the plot PLEASE!!!!!!

Of course there was plenty of time to focus on the slime eating all the clothes off the girls. And Ayumu. It was less scary than the nipple shirt. This slime was magical. It stayed in one portion of the room and only ate the clothes off the girls that have speaking roles in this show. Oh and when I say it ate their clothes it left their socks and panties. Because the slime is a gentlemen folks.

Well at least Ariel saved them.....

So after Ayumu fails to help clean up after Haruna’s mess (maybe that was done on purpose by Ariel?) his memories were erased. Which is totally fair. Fail at one test and have your memories wiped out? Also Haruna has to leave and have her memories whooshed too? I guess I am not understanding this craziness. Chris is automatically going to stop going after Ayumu if he can’t remember her? Or does Ariel know that Ayumu will never stop but probably won’t succeed so it is better to put him out of his misery this way? Of course Ayumu did agree to these terms but still. I am sure he would rather remember and live with his “family” even without Haruna’s powers.

Um no. We want our Ayumu in danger and sad please.

Five seconds after Ayumu’s memories are erased all the girls wanted him back. Now…why didn’t they protest more while it was going on. Why not have a day or two of the girls looking sad, trying to live without Ayumu but failing miserably? No no folks because we have to rush through this episode. So Ayumu loses his memory and we instantly must get it back.

In animes your brain looks like a film strip. Always.

I think the flying through Ayumu’s memories could have been longer…like everything else. Like stopping to look at once scene and go…yeah what a disgusting piece of shit and pretend everything is okay. But in reality Sera would be pretending something was in her eyes. Also more time in memory lane meant there would be more time for Eucliwood to talk. I don’t know, seeing all the past times where Ayumu got smushed or beat on might have interesting.

Now…the part of the episode I LOVED and we barely got to see was the Different Ayumus! Sure one eventually got free but the others! What about the others? Sera was in a bad mood or something. They barely said anything and she was all like this is disgusting and what not. Aside from the names…I thought they were pretty hot. XD Just goes to show you that anyone can look amazing with a few minor clothing and hair styling choices. Fear not folks for everyone has the potential of being Hollywood gorgeous if they pick the right stylist! HINT go for District 12.

He's sexy and he knows it!

If one different Ayumu had to emerge I guess it makes sense it was lazy Ayumu. Even if it reeks of Houtarou….Of course if Ayumu really had his memories erased would that not mean his whole body and all the personalities inside would forget the relevant memories? Like if I forgot all about my evil job my split personality Always On Time Tenchi would have no recollection of my coworkers yes? Of course I am not sure how all this memory erasing stuff works. In any event that was a good look for Ayumu.

The girls however did not appreciate this new and carefree Ayumu. Surly a man who can’t care enough to button his shirt isn’t fit to be their Ayumu. So 5 whole seconds after his underwear seeing self escaped they had to hunt him down. At school. Are those kids constantly getting THEIR minds erased? It appears Ms. Kanami is the only one who pays attention to what is going on. Um why are all Ayumu’s friends our teachers? Why is there giant slime in the room? Why are people using a chainsaw on Ayumu? All these things constantly erased from their tiny little minds. Hope they have enough memories to pass their exams.

But yes back to the topic at hand. The girls decided to get Ayumu’s memories back by having Eucliwood transforming into a magical girl and cutting Ayumu’s insides into tiny pieces. Oh and showing Ayumu old notes that Eulicwood used to write him. That was probably the part that woke Ayumu back up. Because Eucliwood is still on the same pad of paper ya’ll. Maybe Ayumu was able to remember due to the extreme pain he was feeling. Still it was nice seeing Eucliwood actually get emotional. Well as emotional as she can get without destroying the world.

Just a typical day for Ayumu.......

And with that….the show ended. Yes folks season two is now over. Ayumu gets his memories back and it is business as usual. Chris is informed by Nene about what has just gone down. That everyone is watching out for Ayumu. She gave a weird answer, like either she is going to step her game up or protect him too. Either way all weird yes? Lalala, got my memories back after they were missing for ten minutes, Haruna is calling me Bayumu for some stupid reason, and I am still surrounded by crazy people. That is Ayumu’s life. Glad he fought to get it back.

OH HI NEW GIRL! Oh wait it is over.

The end folks. Like this season only existed to be filler until season three is ready. I see folks. I see. I do like the crazy antics but this whole ending RIGHT when the plot started leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I love the gags and what not but make the season 24 episodes long or don’t both starting a major plot point until the next season. SILLY PEOPLE! XD

Kore wa Zombie Desu ka? of the dead episode 9

Hello my lovely readers! Did you know that baby showers can last 7 hours if you are with the right people? And that asking to leave work 30 minutes early weeks in advanced is apparently asking way too much of my crazy job? Or that you too can win baby shower games by watching Digimon? XD That is the story of why there were no posts yesterday. Oh that’s a social life?

X___X Best name for Ayumu yet!

XD So….dead tired but feeling the need to talk/write here we go! Kore w Zombie Desu ka? of the dead episode 9!!!! Spoilers for…..welll….err….boobies? And Sexual Harassment Devil.

Oh crap. Sara has been taken over by aliens.

Episode Summary: Ayumu calls Ariel up and says that Kyoko’s fax about tickling Chris is full of crap. While Ariel thinks this is a reasonable answer she understands Ayumu being upset. Ariel mentions in passing that there has been a person who is capable of being Chris….Then there is some very confusing talk about how Eucliwood used to know this person but from Villiers even thought that is where Haruna is from and that she is a Megalo? WTF is this dialogue. Especially when the person in question is the top fighter from the Underworld, much as Chris is the one of the top people from Villiers. Ignore that hot mess because I am. Eucliwood then starts…writing about how the Underworld used to be a magical and flower filled place til the Magical Girls came. The 7th Abyss (?!?!) was created to protect them and Eucliwood friend, the strongest one among them (????) was sent. Lets call her Nene since that is what she goes by. She goes to fight…and that is the end of the story. Ayumu was like…wait you guys are enemies? Haruna and Eucliwood have no idea what the big deal is. Being that Nene is her friend…Eucliwood sends Ayumu to Anderson-kun for help. Anderson-kun panics and says he will help Ayumu but it might be dangerous. Trying to digest this all Ayumu is then visited by a random Sara who invites her darling to a concert. He promises to be there and Sara is so happy. Ayumu is confused by all the smiles he experiences but is pressed to find this Nene person. He locates her in a less than stellar apartment. A half naked girl collapses on him as he enters so clearly he has found Nene. He takes her inside and finds out she is a doushinji artist. He explains to her the situation and she agrees she is the only one who can maybe defeat Chris. So she won’t as that will collapses the alliance the Underworld and Villiers has.

Run in the rain and be all dramatic!!!

Somehow Ayumu gets roped into helping her finish her manga deadline and Ayumu calls Haruna for help. But when Nene takes a random shower break she collapses on Ayumu and Haruna sees this. She runs home in tears to get Eucliwood and Sera. They return to call Ayumu the Sexual Harassment Devil. Eucliwood and Nene have their little reunion and it turns out that Nene is making a manga about what could have been in the Underworld if Mr. King of Night hadn’t messed everything up. Now everyone HAS to finish it. They all work super hard but Sera and her acid soup randomly get spilled all over the pages. Nene thinks it is no big deal but now the group is going to work beyond hard to make things right. They work beyond hard but Ayumu knows he is missing most of Sara’s concert. Nene notices he is distracted and lets him…run in the rain all the way to the hall so he can hear the last song. For some reason Sara is not pissed and is happy he came. They share an indirect kiss…or milk. The episode ends with Chris and Nene getting a bite to eat together, as they will not let work get in the way of their personal lives. Oh and they both like Ayumu. Duh. THE END!

The Underworld...with flowers?!

Me thinks…I am missing a lot to this series by just watching the anime. That or I should just KNOW what these terms mean, just like with Fate/Zero/Stay Night. XD Maybe I am slow….

If you hate the tickling thing I guess......

First off yes Kyoko technically did not break her word to Ayumu. Technically. However like I said in the comments last time I blogged this show a lot of people are ticklish. And a lot of those people are ticklish on their sides. So this is not really an amazing tip. Not when you have to get really close to a person to actually get the task accomplish.

Why didn't you tell us sooner?!

But luckily for Ayumu Kyoko was just some random plot point to get over quickly despite the fact we have been seeing her dangling naked in Ariel’s care. No no Ariel now remembers that there is someone else who can defeat Chris. Probably the only person who can defeat Chris. She just couldn’t tell Ayumu before because she wanted him to calm Kyoko down. Duh.

Oh look BOOBIES!

Did her name have to be Nene though? I guess that is just a nickname but really. Really. Of course the way the cast pronounced the name it sounded like Nana to me. But using a lot of terms and events I probably should be aware of this Nene is the only one who can possibly fight Chris and get Haruna’s powers back. And it turns out she is drawing doushinji in her crappy apartment and her boobs are bursting out of her barely there clothes. Wave goodbye to your powers Haruna.

And then...my brain started to melt.

7th Abyss, Villiers, and the battle between the Underworld/Magical Girls….I feel as if these concepts were not explained that well between the two seasons or I have forgotten A LOT! I know the King of Nights was a person she brought back to life at one point but other than that I guess I don’t know too much. I thought everyone was getting along great but it turns out their countries were/are at war but everything is just fine in the house of Ayumu.

What? Plot? crazy talk.

Maybe that is the problem with a show that spends 80 percent of its episodes being silly and crazy then going OH YEAH plot. Like I didn’t know that the Megalos were actually created by the Villiers to train their Magical Girls. I thought they came from the Underworld. But according to the Wikipedia de Zombie this is the case. I do understand that switching mediums will result in the loss of some knowledge but really. Really. It took 7 episodes for SOMETHING to happen. Time when I could be learning more about all these terms and what not. This is all resting on the assumption that I just haven’t forgotten everything of course. I don’t think this is the case though as I have read there is a reason why Sara is acting less like a crazy person. See Ayumu saved her from Chris. XD So yes a lot of has been lost.

Just slightly overdramatic.....

I think Eucliwood should have went with Ayumu. Why did they have to rely on Anderson-kun to contact Nene? Moreso why haven’t Nene and Eucliwood seen in each other in quite a while? Thought they were friends. But none of this happens. Ayumu must face the half naked chick alone. Not sure why Anderson-kun was all freaked out. Maybe he is afraid of boobies.

I see now....

I don’t think Nene being a doushinji shocked me. I mean it should have. Strongest warrior in the Underworld leaving in a place that scares Ayumu, unable to meet her deadlines, and passing out in puddles of her own drool. However…look at everyone else. Ruler of the Underworld sipping tea with Ayumu, vampire ninja cleaning houses as her main job, and a genius magical girl who can’t remember anyone’s name to save her life. So if Nene was actually in the business of being a warrior woman it might have shocked me and knocked me out.

Apparently everyone needs a haircut too...

Is everyone in Japan capable of picking up a pencil and helping out a manga artist? I mean…after my extensive learnings of how the manga industry works…I just thought there was some qualifications with the job. But I guess anyone can just help out a manga artist when a deadline is nearby. Like OH let me help draw the backgrounds and do the tons. Signal the let’s work together song!!!

Lets talk about this manga shall we? It is so sad yes?! Like what the heck?! If Nene missed Eucliwood so much she should have gone to see her! But I guess the manga was more about the future that wasn’t/ I didn’t think the Underworld had that many flowers. But curse you King of the Night. Making everyone sad. Eucliwood is still crying about it years later.

Okay now that I think about it why was everyone helping Nene out if she had no intentions of helping them? Just to be nice? I mean maybe Nene will help at this point she said no. I would say so long lady. Hire your own assistances.

No more anger?

Sara and her concert…If I was her I would be pissed that Ayumu only heard one song. All that running. Take the subway! He said he would be there and he almost wasn’t. Keep the promises you made in advance. You just met Nene and her boobies. She is using you for slave labor.

But on another note Sara and her behavior have drastically changed. Much has been lost in the anime apparently. Much. Sara being a happy school girl with a crush on the boy…is weird to watch. More screaming to the crowd! DIE!!!

The end with Nene and Chris. Probably should have expected that. Oh look at us we are really friends! Of course now that I am trying to find out more about this series maybe Nene was actually made by the Magical Girls but changed sides? Would make sense if they were friends, especially if they were feared for being the strongest. Sometimes your greatest competition is the person who knows and understands you the best. Just wish they didn’t spend so much time talking about Ayumu. XD

So…I am tired now. Ayumu is loved by all and the greatest people in the world are getting drunk and wearing tank tops. Yay crazy!

Kore wa Zombie Desu ka? of the dead episode 8

Another lazy day? What is wrong with me? I am happy though it is raining and I am not at work. Grateful for that. I did get a crash course in how much babies cost. The answer is…too much. XD Way too much. Think of all the Disney pins and nendoroids I wouldn’t be able to buy because kids need things like diapers and clothes and strollers.

This show has great lines doesn't it?

In between doing nothing and doing other things I am attempting to get some blogging done. All while munchin on some pizza and drinking Code Red. Up now is Kore wa Zombie Desu Ka? of the dead episode 8. Spoilers for giant boobies and everyone loving Ayumu.

It's behind you!!!!

Episode Summary: Ariel is talking to Ayumu about how to get Haruna’s magic back from Chris. But seeing how strong Chris is (punished for trying to overthrow the Queen!)…Ariel doesn’t want to get back Haruna’s power by force. Instead she suggests maybe they use Kyoko as she has said she knows Chris’ weakness. Then BAM Kyoko is behind Ayumu. The rest of the house is not happy to see the crazy girl and Ayumu is slightly on edge. Kyoko seems to be suffering from a split personality, going from super sweet to insane psychopath. She says she will reveal Chris’ weakness (which she learned from the King of the Night) if Ayumu can entertain her. All the girls, especially Sera, are skeptical but Ayumu agrees to this. Later that night Kyoko tries to seduce Ayumu with her butt floss underwear. Ayumu is like…lets go outside and talk instead. After Kyoko swings on the swing in the evilest manner EVER Ayumu wants to know what is up. Finally Kyoko agrees to tell the secret if Ayumu throws a mixer. This means that Ayumu has to turn into a 90’s American punk kid YO YO YO! His friends are deeply afraid at his change in character but agree to go to maybe save his sanity. Sera confronts Kyoko and deducts that Kyoko never wanted to throw a mixer, just wanted to see Ayumu suffer. Kyoko concludes that Sera is not really here on orders to protect Eucliwood, that Sera loves Ayumu.

What part of those looks desirable?

The day of the mixer finally arrives and Ayumu and Orito show up wearing I’m Too Sexy for my Nipples shirts. The workers at Masks Donalds show up to even up the number of men. Kyoko shows up and everyone is like OH a new face. They play a king game where someone gets to pick what two other players do. Eucliwood makes Ayumu and Taeko hug…and proceeds to get jealous with the rest of the room. One of the Mask People make Ayumu and Kyoko kiss but Ariel shows up before that can happen. While everyone else is having a great time Kyoko is pissed Ariel is there. Before Kyoko burns down the room Ayumu takes her out to the graveyard where he beat her face in. He says he wants her to do whatever she wants to him in exchange for the information. She transforms and stabs him….then hugs him. Because now she is in love with him but didn’t think he would accept her. Or something. It got crazy. Her real punishment besides spending more time in jail is that no one will ever remember her. Ayumu promises to remember her no matter what. Kyoko smiles as she disappears and Ariel smiles, as if her plan went perfectly. Then Kyoko faxes Ayumu a bunch of nonsense and he hates his life again. THE END!

Creepy all over the place!

Interesting interesting. While I am happy that the plot is FINALLY upon us……it feels very rushed. Rushed indeed. As it should since we are practically at the end of this series and barely anything has happened it is time to cram it all in at once.

Yeah Haruna!!!

I knew Kyoko was going to show up at some point….and hopefully wearing clothes when she did so. I just thought maybe Ariel didn’t hate Ayumu that much and she would give him a little warning. Also hot damn she must not care for her students that much. Well maybe it is nice seeing someone think of themselves and not sacrifice themselves for another. It just goes against the anime noms that Ariel isn’t all for a head to head match up against Chris and rather let it…run its course? Crazy talk.

How can you forgot that face?

Well not really crazy talk because that would be Kyoko. Kyoko Kyoko Kyoko. She was wearing clothes when she arrived although her boobies are way too big for her frame. I wonder what men would think if they saw the same size boobies on a woman in her 40’s. Down to their KNEES! So not liking her “nighttime” outfit.

She looks like some crazy gremlin!

But she was hilarious going in between the fake sweet persona and the INSANE person she might truly be. Just how ugly her face got was amusing to me. Her mumbling about Haruna’s nonexistent attention span to people was entertaining. Granted Kyoko was locked up in a weird looking manner but it hasn’t been that long. If home girl couldn’t handle that small of time in her sentence what are we going to see in the future?

Suffer swing! SUFFER!!!

Also I really don’t feel bad for Kyoko. She gets what she deserves. She killed a lot of people and Ayumu is a zombie magical girl because of her ways. Yes she was being manipulated by King of the Night but then she needs to be in rehab or something. She needs therapy and maybe not be pinned to a wall all naked like. That might not be the best way to reform her. That just might make her more insane. Which is amusing.

Naked jail cells do not receive fashion magazines obviously.

Also perhaps Kyoko has not been aware of Ayumu current events but humiliating Ayumu is hard work. He suffered yes by planning this party…but he suffers daily by just being him. XD So Kyoko’s mixer party was just…well all of Ayumu’s fault.

Why is it Ayumu’s fault? Because I am pretty sure it is the year 2012 and these bitches and hoes don’t want to be called bitches and hoes when invited to a party. You dig? He spent way too much time being weird and alienating potential party guests. Just act normal. Or as normal as you can act Ayumu. Crazy pants.

Just a bunch of people going to do karaoke together and you are acting like some bad 90’s music video? And then Orito was wearing one too?! Oh lord. Which shop is still selling this crap?

WTF are they stalkers or something?!

I really have nothing to say about the Masked Donald people. They are just too random for words. They did need more men but since everyone is in love with Ayumu that would leave a lot of guys single. So only Anderson-kun and Orito get any kind of screen time.

Everything is Ayumu's fault WEEEEE!

Everyone picking Ayumu for things was typical. Most of the people being upset/jealous over the tasks was predictable. But what was up with Eucliwood? She is the one picking what Ayumu does and then calls him a pervert? Ayumu’s harem is too big for me to keep track of.

How about you actually help Ayumu out?!

I am not sure why Ariel showed up. Did she want Ayumu to heal Kyoko’s heart so she would be an easier prisoner to handle? Why not just use some magic and place her in a vegetative state for the duration of her sentence? Ariel seems to like it when people do her dirty work for her doesn’t she? XD I guess that makes sense or maybe Ariel really does like Kyoko and was trying to make things easier for the confused girl. Not easier for Ayumu obviously but nothing is easy for him.

Wha.....when the heck did this happen?!

But Kyoko liking Ayumu….wtf?! That makes as much sense as Sera like Ayumu. Maybe even less since Sera lives with Ayumu and hasn’t killed him before! I rather Kyoko get her so called revenge on Ayumu, Ayumu beat her, and she dies off knowing she has been forgiving. This whole love business is confusing. But I have to remember that Kyoko was under the control of King of the Night and maybe she really did like Ayumu…even if I think she had some control of her actions.

Look at me I am forgiven! So just tickle Chris so it will be okay!
