Karneval episode 13 FINAL EPISODE!

Hello there my lovely readers! Two posts in one day woohoo! I am not sure if I said this yet but I apologize for the bandwidth crappy out last month. Not sure what happened as I make sure to use both accounts so this problem doesn't happen. Maybe I need three? Kira?! Do you want a photobucket account?!?!

But here is another post today as tomorrow I work...again! Yay money for future Disney trip. The Spring season has wrapped up and I need to hurry and catch up as the Summer season is upon us. So here is the last episode for Karneval. Episode 13. The show of many tears and hugs.

I think the caption writes itself....

Episode Summary: Everyone who is important looks on at this rainbow...thing in the sky. Nai asks Jiki to take him there as it might be Karoku. Jiki agrees with this assessment and off they try to go. Jiki fights little bat Vaguars along the way. Gareki is having a hard time keeping up with Yogi as they fight the huge Vagura and Yogi ends up protecting Gareki again. Yogi wants to take Gareki back to the ship to keep him safe. Gareki starts to cry, saying he knows he is a burden but still wants to go to the rainbow and help Nai. Yogi is all flustered and there is probably a moment. Akari on the other hand is having another type of moment with Azana. Azana is all over the place, saying the Vaguras as the right way to go to pulling a gun on Akari to make him come with Azana to crying all over the place because Akari is so perfect. Hirato comes to handle Azana but Akari stops him from shooting. Azana gets away but is quickly followed by another member of Circus. Kiichi is still battling Kiharu and Kagiri while the mansion slowly burns to the ground. Tsukitachi was searching the secret areas but decides to save Kiichi before it falls on their heads. Since Hirato ran off to rescue his Akari Tsukumo and Iva were left to watch Uro.

Who got pregnant?

Without Hirato watching over his banshee spell Uro is able to escape. He summons up a huge Vagura and the girls are worried they actually might have to work a bit. Jiki and Nai meet up with Yogi and Gareki. Another Vagura appears and Jiki offers to stay behind to fight it. Yogi tries to get Nai and Gareki to the rainbow portal because apparently it has a time limit...when Uro appears. Iva, Tsukumo, and Yogi stay behind to fight Uro and the creature as Gareki races Nai to the rainbow portal. After taking a crazy ride through insanity Gareki and Nai find themselves on a field staring at Karoku. Nai goes to hug Karoku while Gareki can't move or talk. He notices that something is off and struggles to tell Nai there is someone on the ground. Nai and eventually Gareki move to that person to see it is also Karoku. Nai decides that is the right Karoku and won't go with the talking Karoku. Karoku doesn't get too upset, even when injured. He says he will give Nai more time to play with his friends. Gareki and Nai appear back where the rainbow portal was with the injured Karoku. Hirato is swiftly punished by the higher ups. Hirato and Tsukitachi are quick to point out that Uro and his people ARE Vaguras and they did rescue the innocent Karoku even if he is unconscious. Of course the higher ups are quick to point out all the mistakes they made, including that said Karoku is not doing well. Nai watches over his...friend while Tsukumo watches over Nai. Gareki has confronted Hirato as he wants to enter school without a family registry. Gareki has been doing as much studying as he can on his own but still wants to go to school. He wanted revenge against all these baddies but realizes that being with Circus isn't enough. He wants to contribute. Hirato plays with Gareki a bit but then agrees to help the boy get in school. Yogi, Nai, and Tsukumo are still under the impression that Gareki is going far away and are sad pandas.

So I can totally join you guys again in the future and make stuffed animals with everyone!

I need a dentist ya'll. That was so sweet and sugary all of my teeth have fallen out. But I hate the dentist. Well everyone does so I'm not that special. Still sugar sugar sugar all over the place. How will we all survive?

Hurry we have to go to the rainbow sparkle that Karoku apparently made.

First off I was wrong. I think I say that a lot on my blog. That and sorry for being this late on this post blah blah. XD But yes....Nai did not make a magical rainbow. My bad. In my defense...the damn rainbow portal was NEVER explained. Clearly this show is going to have another season so the rainbow portal of doom can be explained way over there. I just thought Nai did a dramatic scream that only dogs can hear and that activated the rainbow portal. Obviously that is not what happened and I apologize for the confusion. Because us anime only watchers don't need any more confusion right?!

Or it could be something REALLY BAD!

I would like to know how Jiki, Nai, and whoever else just knew the sparkles were Karoku. How does Circus know Karoku is special? I mean we only know about Karoku making Nai from an animal. That doesn't mean Karoku necessarily has special powers. He could be just super smart. Or using that special cell the gang saw at UnicornRUs. That doesn't mean Karoku is special or a Vagura. So why are we assuming it's Karoku? Head towards the light Nai. You say Marco and this is apparently Polo!

My brain has melted from all of this!

Did...did....the tears. The yaoi. My eyes. MY EYES! Forget my damn teeth. My eyes!!!! Gareki...was crying. It's like this show is dangling the yaoi in front of me. Like see Tenchi? See how obvious it is but haha nothing will ever be said and it is up to everyone else to draw conclusions. X_____X Gareki has many sides to him, not just this tough kid who pretends to have no feelings. And despite being overly friendly with people Yogi is not all about hugs and kisses when things get tough. Sometimes things are awkward and uncomfortable and natural. Now you will excuse me as surely someone has written a steamy fanfiction about that scene.

But yes. Gareki really was feeling down about himself. No confidence at all. Yogi had to save Gareki again. As much as Yogi wants Gareki around it would be safer if Gareki was in the ship. Or maybe given a different weapon. Like Yogi wants his new friend but can't keep putting him in danger. Gareki wants to help out but knows even if Yogi COULD fight to his fullest he can't with him there. But Gareki has unconsciously realized these are his people and he doesn't want to leave them or allow them to get hurt. He wants a family and wants to feel useful. Only Gareki has blocked emotions out for so long he got confused about all of this and his emotions escaped from his eyes in the form of tears. TIME FOR HUGS!!!

So....while Gareki is crying Azana is cackling. And crying too. Akari...well his reaction to the situation was odd. He is usually the cool and calm one but he sorta fell apart. He let his connection with Azana cloud what needed to be done. He didn't want to believe what was going on or what Azana was saying. I don't think that Azana will be a super baddie though. He seems more like the type who will be forgiven later, that he saw Circus as a losing battle and maybe he could help the baddies win...in a slightly less evil way? I don't know. Azana has cracked into a million pieces, Akari doesn't want to believe it, and Hirato is there to protect what is his. Akari I mean.

Hirato had to go protect his precious Akari!

Hirato has left to rescue Akari. Because he has sensed a disturbance in the force. That means that the spell Hirato has placed on Uro has been left unguarded. The banshees can only do what they were doing. If Uro changed something he could get away. And since Tsukumo and Iva are dumb they sit around and do nothing to stop it. I know that Hirato is the captain but can Tsukumo go back to her ass kicking ways we saw back in episode 1? Please?

We are in this together Nai!

Everyone who is important makes it to the rainbow portal while slightly less important characters stay back to fight the baddies. Soon it came down to Gareki and Nai running towards this thing. Again no one really knows what the hell it is but apparently some people knew it was closing. Amazing. But this whole journey has been about Gareki and Nai. Two kids who met under weird circumstances. While I am sure Yogi and Tsukumo who have loved to venture into...the thing that was not explained this was for the two boys to do.

Gareki is jealous and concerned. Not confused like he should be.

Speaking of things that were not explained.....you know...besides the rainbow portal and the space inside it? Why the heck are their two Karokus? I know last episode one Karoku was talking to another but I thought that was a delusion inside of Karoku's head. Like look at me I got injured when I was kidnapped. Or maybe he was crazy from the start. The point being there are TWO Karokus. Both injured and only one conscious. And yet Gareki accepted this all.

Clearly we are going to wait for an explanation too....

So what is going on? Well we don't know! Nor was it really mentioned in this episode. More for next season I assume. No Nai just looked at the conscious Karoku and was like no beuno and went to the one on the ground. I am going to assume that the awake Karoku is a clone, that the other one was always in super bad shape so it was easier to make one from scratch. Just that they weren't all that good at the process thus this Karoku is “dying”. This could also explain why Karoku seems...off...creepy. Not the kind person Nai remembers.

Don't leave us Gareki!

After all the main characters finish their battle and Bad Karoku lets Nai take off with Good Karoku....well Nai has to cry over him for a bit. But Nai puts aside his crying over Karoku to cry over Gareki. With Yogi. Tsukumo was there too but she wasn't as broken hearted. More like confused on how to deal with this situation. I think I am beyond mentioning that these people haven't know each other for that long and this level of tears isn't comparable to the level of friendship. Well I guess I did just mention it. But since this is how Nai and Yogi have been since Day 1 it makes sense for the situation. It just felt sad. Surely Yogi knew that Gareki couldn't stay there. It was mentioned that only special people could be members of Circus. Nai himself is special enough for the special club. But Gareki …..unless they could use him as the cook he surely would be leaving soon. Maybe Yogi was putting that aside since the alternative was sad. Gareki had no where to go.

What?! Misunderstandings?! In animes? Lies!

All of this was leading to Gareki leaving and Tsukumo, Nai, and Yogi not understanding the situation. Gareki had his talk with Hirato so he could leave and go to school. The trip thought Gareki was talking to Hirato about leaving forever. Thus the dramatic we will never seen you again moments. Both were correct in their reactions. Although I don't know if Hirato is to blame for their confusion. It's not like he knew they were going to be dramatic nor did he not know that Gareki did not explain his school situation. People, open your mouths and talk!

Those crazy kids, going off and saving the world with their sparkle tears.

As Gareki pretends these people aren't his friends and family and Yogi and Nai hand Gareki cute plushies (the thought counts!!!!) Hirato and all the other slightly important characters watch on. Like oh Hirato did this because Gareki was on that slave ship you sank all those years ago. Fate or destiny. A way of saying goodbye to all the semi important people. To look on as Gareki is embraced by his new friends. I guess they did work rather hard and deserve a break.

Is there room for me in your heart? Since you love Yogi so much?!

It's just....this is it. Episode 13! No mas more. Well until next season if there is one. Everything just ended on such a happy note. Besides Hirato being yelled at. Everyone keeps worrying about that but nothing ever seems to happen. Like oh no Hirato is going to get in trouble. Um where is the trouble?! Because I didn't see it. Basically everything ended on a fluffy note. Besides one dead twin no one else died. All the baddies, goodies, and two Karokus are accounted for. This show didn't get very deep, like I don't feel as if I know the characters well. Like Yogi being a Vagura? I mean leave some mystery for season two but don't make it all cupcakes and rainbows. And if it is cupcakes and rainbows....well I want to know more about these characters. Really this show was about Gareki and Yogi...falling in love. Guess I don't that much to complain about after all. XD

Karneval episode 12

Hello there my lovely readers. Hopefully patient readers. And not angry readers. My first week of work is done and without many mistakes I was allowed to close the store alone! Success yes? So with my first week of work behind me I think I will have a better handle of how my schedule will work and when blogging can take place. Just a lot of changes this first week kept me from getting much done. Apologizes for these late posts but I shall do my best to catch up and maintain a better schedule.

Um...your security sucks. Also my bandwidth is a hater too.

Since some blogging got done at work hopefully I will have 4 posts between right now and Sunday night. Here is the first of hopefully many posts. Karneval episode 12 time. Spoilers for....Uro having the lamest crew ever.

I don't want to quit you Gareki!

Episode Summary: Nai looks worried as Tsukumo tries to tell the Pikachu Dragon all will be well. Akari is pissed at Hirato and Tsukitachi for even suggesting to go to Smoky Mansion to save Karoku. Well Hirato and Tsukitachi then list all the dirt and reasons why they have to go to said place. Considering all the good reasons they list Akari has no choice but to say yes. He insists on going and there is much rejoicing. While everyone is getting ready for this “minor” operation Gareki asks Yogi hat it means to be a child of the ship. Yogi is surprised but lies and says he doesn't know. So after we see Tsukumo taking a shower Gareki goes to talk to Hirato. But instead of asking Hirato what he meant by the comment Gareki works himself into thinking he is useless and Nai fits in just fine. So Gareki tells Hirato he wants to leave. Hirato has his poker face on but says yes and invites Gareki on this mission. Everyone is assembled, all main characters and tons of cloaked Circus members who have no names and apparently no faces. Gareki and Yogi go to the gate and demand to see Karoku. No one gives chase to the two when they break in nor do they notice Gareki has stolen their bracelet with maps and such. After kicking some people in the head Gareki hacks into the computer and takes down the security system. This makes Yogi sad because he heard that Gareki wanted to leave Circus. Gareki is like what are you talking about, we got work to do!

So Karoku's real soul is talking to his body? I see now.

Once the system is down all the Vagura come out to play. The entire force, bunny and sheep robots included, start to fight. Jiki has Nai who is supposed to find Karoku with his super ears. Nai gets upset when innocent robots are dying even if Jiki doesn't see the point. Nai sees everything as important and special and starts to get upset. Kiichi is instead handling Kagiri and Kiharu as others continue on. Erisyuka is being told to escape by Uro but she won't leave until Karoku does. Earlier Karoku had said that someone special was coming for him and Erisyuka assumes it's Tsukumo. So when Tsukumo and Iva arrive Erisyuka loses her damn mind. Uro promises to chop them up into tiny pieces so Erisyuka and her grandfather escape. Uro thinks he has the upperhand in the extended battle but really Tsukumo and Iva were waiting for Hirato to come and trap said baddie. Gareki and Yogi end up fighting a rather large Vagura and some little bats. Gareki holds his own for a while but eventually Yogi has to save him. Clearly that means Gareki is useless. Inside the ship Akari is working hard on saving the info Gareki hacked into. He notices that Azana has started erasing all the files. Azana is the traitor. Apparently he tried to contact the mansion earlier but it was blocked. Azana is a sad broken person. He says if they were righteous they would be the ones winning. Thus since they were losing they must be the baddies. Akari is clearly shocked. Nai and his sadness has had too much and....he screams? Something about his voice and the entire area sparkles. A protal of some kind opens up while all the main characters watch. THE END! 

XO It is hard to tell home much I have written. I got to write at work so I am using my tiny notebook of work facts to blog. Such a naughty new employee. Just hope the paragraphs aren't crazy long when I type this all out.

Why didn't you tell him earlier crazy person!

First things first. What is up with Yogi?! Why didn't he tell Gareki what that child of Ship 2 meant? I assume it meant he would become a member of Circus? Maybe I am wrong. I don't think I am though. Perhaps Yogi didn't want to pressure Gareki? Still....it seems odd. Maybe it was more like adoption and Yogi didn't want to treat Gareki like a kid. WHO KNOWS!

What....what is this?

Putting aside my yaoi colored glasses for Yogi and Gareki...HOT DAMN! Akari and Hirato obviously need a room. And a weekend getaway. And maybe some rings. I know there has been some tension going on between the two but what was the practically holding hands? Did you see that moment? Me thinks that Akari protests too much. In denial!

Then why didn't you stomp in there before this?!

I really didn't think that Circus had that much dirt on Gramps and Big Rock Candy Mountain. I thought Hirato was being more giving of the situation and was being nice towards Nai. Um it sounds like all that Uro and his people had left to do was set up the neon sign announcing their evil plots. I didn't know Tsukumo knew her location. I mean, Karoku being held by Erisyuka isn't enough for anything. But all the other disappearances and what not and really...Nai was the cherry on top. Poor Nai. Hope he doesn't think he owes them forever when it was inevitable. Also is Akari in charge?!

Gareki needs to sing his Disney song already.

While everyone is getting ready for the “small” scale operation Gareki has to talk to Hirato. Maybe he is interested in a love triangle...square...poor Nai. He is just the cool pet everyone wants to buy things for and take to Disney. But yes Gareki talks to Hirato. Only Gareki...well he has a moment. He seems to have a lot of these moments. Self doubt. Why oh why can't I be as special as these people wearing magical bracelets! Why can't I be a magical creature/human who can do amazing things? WHY OH WHY!!!!! So Gareki...the cool and calm one of the group, basically turns into a junior high girl with no self esteem and decides he will leave. You will all be better off without me! Hirato seems to think that this is a phase and once Gareki goes on this last mission he will change his mind. But for now Gareki is content on being a pity party of one.

So many people we don't know weee!

So....I am glad....that in this final hour...the entire Circus family has come together to help out Nai. Like really people. REALLY!!!! All those people? Where the hell did these faceless people come from? Extras they picked off the street? Went to the mall and asked people for help with their plan for 50 whole dollars? Of course Circus needs to have more people. How else could they keep order? No no we have only seen the important ones so far and these are....well...the not important people. Clearly they are in danger of dying. Red shirts for all.

Oh no! That boy ran passed us. Guess he broke in forever....

I am really not impressed with Gramps and Uro. I think their security system is a joke. From the guards to the house to the computer system...it is like these losers were asking to be broken into. Why was Circus having such a hard time finding evidence against them yet? Still waiting for the neon light? Gareki demands to see Karoku, someone being held against his will and that people shouldn't know where he lives, and the guards just let Gareki and Yogi run to the mansion. Where was the chase? The rest of the guards were jokes, getting kicked once by Yogi. If this mansion really did hold so many secrets and what not you think it would be super protected at all times, not when it is breached by a 15 year old.

Just ask him to marry you already.

Gareki continued to have self esteem problems throughout the episode. Yogi is all feeling that goggle wearing boy but can't bring himself to say STAY WITH ME! Instead it is toe in the sand...you know...you are super good with computers and Circus needs someone who is super good with computers. Gareki refuses to acknowledge what he is good at and just focus on the fact he can't fight supernatural creature monster things. Yogi has to rescue me again and what not. Poor Gareki. Contributing in ways that he can and still not thinking that is enough.

Look at me being amazing!!!!

The rest of the fighting going on in the mansion and outside was just okay. Kiichi seems to be pretty hardcore. That or I just thought Tsukumo was awesome and Kiichi is the real deal. The fight with Tsukumo and Iva isn't that magical as they were “waiting” for Hirato. Because if Hirato came from the start and helped that would be insanity. No no, we got to play around with our victims. That is how the best do it folks! But yeah the bunnies getting destroyed and the faceless people winning against everyone...a bit boring.

How can this be happening?!

Erisyuka lost her shit and it was amazing. AMAZING! Like is this girl for real? Since this mansion is run by incompetent people no one was able to get Karoku out of the room. And since this place is run by people weaker than Minions no one was able to get Erisyuka out themselves. Instead she had a grade A insane attack. Karoku is mine...MINE BITCHES! It was okay when Karoku wanted a special boy (Gareki in Erisyuka's mind) but Tsukumo? No. That is unacceptable. People are breaking into the house and things are happening outside but Erisyuka needs her Karoku! What the hell did this girl do before said Karoku was kidnapped? Was she blinded to the fact that Karoku was kidnapped? Dumb girl. XD

Didn't see that coming at all!

What else what else....hard to remember since I started blogging this like Wednesday. OH! Yes. I would not have guessed that Azana was the traitor face. Never ever. We saw that other guy sneaking around but apparently that was too obvious folks. Guess they had to spice things up. Now Azana doesn't seem totally bad and with how this show is going he won't be killed or really punished for this crime. Azana just is...tired of losing. Probably drove him into crazy town. I suspect that Azana will injury Akari in some way but both men will be rescued.

Err....well then...

The episode ends with Nai being a strange little PokemonDragon. He and Jiki were having some bonding while not fighting the Vagura at all. Just sit here and listen to Karoku not make a noise at all. Way to go there Karoku, don't you want to be rescued? But this battle is too much for Nai. He is seeing poor innocent robots being destroyed. Each one is unique you know. Everyone fighting. Just too much sadness. So...Nai creates a rainbow portal to...where? Oh that is the end of the episode? By all means Nai....just scream and use new powers to do something amazing. I guess I will find out next time what this all means. Goodness.

Karneval episode 11: All over the damn place!

I am also one hell of a butler!

So much yawn! Fading fast! But I needs to get caught up one post at a time. Up now is Karneval episode 10. Spoilers for everything in this entire series happening in one episode.

I am not sure if Hirato is being sarcastic or not...

Episode Summary: It is a wonderful day...in the neighborhood. Hirato and Tsukumo are hard at work while all the other boys have a day off. This work consists of meeting with a the president of some company. Compliments are exchange but the meat of the conversation is that man thinks that some of his employees are or are using Varugas as people are going missing or turning up dead. Hirato is like thanks for this magical information and we will look into it. During the meeting the man gets a message that his child has gone missing which Hirato and Tsukumo also promise to handle by contacting the rest of their team. Said team is out on a double decker bus enjoying the sites. Jiki soon leaves them though to do things on his own. These things include getting his hair cut and finding the perfect soil for his plants. Yogi is temporary sad that Jiki has left but remembers his true love Gareki and partner in crime Nai are still there. Together they go shopping and get their hair did and nail painted while Gareki tries to kill himself. The final straw seems to be when Yogi drags them to the Nyanperona store. Yogi is going on and on about the lovelies while Gareki rolls his eyes and basically says Nyanperona is fake because Yogi is in the suit. Yogi drags Gareki out of the store and says that the hopes and dreams of all the children who heard Gareki have been smashed on the ground. Before they can clap their hands three times and bring the fairies back to life a kid named Yanari walks up, holding Yogi's....card information or something. In exchange for returning this piece of paper Yanari wants the group to take him to a shop with such and such roof and what not. They agree, even when google fails them. They walk around, Gareki wanting to kill himself extra hard while Nai talks to the boy and tries to bond with him. They end up in a park like area when the town's mascot Rissun. She greets herself warmly and seems to know the exact spot Yanari is talking about. They skip off wonderfully even if Gareki threatened the costumed one. They continue walking, Yanari saying he never had a friend before and Nai being adorable.

Quick don't bring up the plot!

The group seem to reach a certain point and Rissun appears again. Only this time it is a robber or kidnapper and they try to hold Yanari hostage. Well that doesn't work too well for the man and Yogi and Gareki make quick work of him. Hirato, Tsukumo, and some back-up arrive as Yogi has received the message that Yanari ran away. Seeing the situation Hirato pretends that Gareki is also a kidnapper while Yogi escapes with Yanari and Nai. They make it to a house, a house that is not a noddle shop and Yanari is like this is the place. He runs in to greet his mom only to be told by the 8 year old groundskeeper that she died a month ago. Turns out that mom couldn't take living with the father anymore and just left. Yanari cries and Nai has no idea what he feels inside is sadness for his friend. Yogi coax Nai into comforting Yanari. Gareki is waiting for all of this to go down when Hirato sorta invites him to join the crew. Also Akari is trying to get to the bottom of this spy nonsense back at his place. You know, as a shady person lurks in the background. Nai has to bid Yanari goodbye as they have to go and find Karoku. Yanari thinks that name sounds familiar and calls later to tell Nai that he knows a girl named Erisyuka that knows a Karoku. HOW CAN THIS BE! That night Gareki is thinking of what Hirato said about adoption or joining the crew when Nai the kind comes in with juice. But Karoku starts talking to Nai in his head, giving him awful visions. He basically tells Nai where he is and if Nai doesn't hurry he will die. Gareki helps Nai recover and they tell Yogi, Tsukumo, and the old dude what they know. It is mentioned that the location in question has been mentioned before but they never had enough evidence. Yogi and Tsukumo both threaten to quit Circus to help Nai get to his mansion. Hirato appears and says that is not necessary, as he will take them all there to help Nai. YAY FRIENDSHIP! THE END!

That is Gareki trying to run away from his life.

This....is an odd little episode. Like really where do I start? It feels like 10 manga chapters were shoved into this episode. Not reading the manga myself I am just guessing at that. But that is what it felt like to me. Almost disjointed. Yes that is how to describe it. Disjointed and all over the place, ideas and such. Hopefully this all makes sense. 

Hirato and Tsukumo go and meet with some dude from a major business. It is weird seeing such different places in this universe. There is just a real contrast between the rich and poor. I guess that is naïve thinking of me, it is like that in the real world. Just.....all the horrible conditions Gareki grew up in verses these spots of pure wealth and awesomeness. Throw in all these areas of animal sanctuary and this world seems weird.

Innocent or guilty?

But yes Tsukumo and Hirato. Apparently this man thinks that there are Vagura in his company. People who work with them or are there. Just a lot of people have gone missing and its all horrible. At first I was like thank goodness, someone noticing what is going on in this world. The typical person seems so unaware of what is going on, even when things look obvious. So I was like WOOHOO this man knows when to ask for help. As the episode progressed I then assumed this was all a trap set to get Circus lured into a false sense of security. But then by the end of the episode ADD had set in and now that point didn't seem to matter either. Now I am back to thinking this guy had nothing to do with anything.

Why did you bother coming with us then?!

As usual Tsukumo and Hirato are the ones doing the work. Hirato because he is the Captain and I guess Tsukumo is the best he has after that. That and maybe he is upset that Tsukumo nearly died a few days back and he needs to keep an eye on her. But yes. That means Yogi and Jiki have off. Because that is why Jiki is on Ship 2, to have fun with everyone else and not work. YAY FOR DAYS OFF! Maybe Circus needs to hire more people so things can look more safe to me.

Maybe Jiki could have gotten that kid in shape.

I don't know why Jiki is with this group. I thought that he was interested in these people. Not that he sees them as people, just interesting chess pieces or what not. Only when Nai or Gareki saves his life will he see how amazing they are and rejoice in their friendship. But for now I am questioning why he is on this ship if he is just going to get his hair cut and get soil for plants. So helpful that boy.

We don't need Jiki! More cake for us!

Of course Jiki leaving the group makes Yogi sad. Because he needs friendships ALL OF THEM! In as little time as possible. Good thing Nai understands that way of thinking. Really this anime only exists to torture Gareki. Being dragged all over the place and made to have fun. Really life is horrible. Have I mentioned that I am thrilled this show actually allows it characters to have more that one set of clothes. ONWARD TO FUN!!!!...Okay it's good Nai is here so Yogi can have one piece of happiness.

And then Yogi died...

I think it was a bit...odd that Yogi wanted to take Nai and Gareki to this store. Like look a store all about the character I dress up as! Woohoo the cat costume and all its merchandise glory! Almost self serving. Nyanperona for life! I don't know, I felt as if a lot of this episode was forced, to get to one thing after another and it didn't flow well. I can see Gareki not wanting to be in the store seeing he has to live this reality everyday.

Kids these days...

Because the gang went to the Nyanperona store it made Gareki mad. Since Gareki was mad Yogi dropped a super important paper with his info on it. Because the paper was on the ground some random kid named Yanari picked it up and blackmailed the group. Like really? I know that Yogi hates conflict and loves kids but no one could just snatch the paper from the kid? Really this episode is just one unbelievable thing after another. I am with you Gareki, leave the kid. But Nai and Yogi have huge hearts made of gold so we have to help this kid.

Good thing you were standing right there random mascot.

Yanari wants help finding a place. Because the internet has failed our heroes and Yanari's best bet in finding said place is to ask strangers who have never been to this city before. Oh okay. Why didn't Yanari walk up to the scary mascot Rissun for help at first? I miss Japan...having mascots everywhere. But I guess that is not the point. The point is....it was like this was an episode of Barney or Seasame Street. Or Blue's Clues. Onward to wherever this mascot pointed us to.

What about the noddles?!

Somewhere along the way Yanari and Nai became best friends. Yanari has never had a friend guys. Life is horrible. :( Where are the cute muppets teaching us a life lesson? Oh wait some random criminal has a Rissun costume laying around the house and KNEW Yanari was going to go to this random noodle shop? Carry on. OH WAIT! They didn't even go to a random noodle shop. It was at a house. WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON????!!! Did a 5 year old write this episode?

What took you so long?! We needed you 3 seconds ago!

The would be kidnapper was quickly dispatched. But then another situation occurs. Because usually people who go through the trouble of stalking a kid and dressing up as a mascot the kid has previously interacted with needs back story. The kid is actually the son of the super nice company man that Hirato and Tsukumo were talking to. DUH! All of this had to go down in front of Hirato and Tsukumo. So they could rush and allow Yogi, Nai, and Yanari to escape and do...whatever it was they are doing. Ask questions later and pin this all on Gareki. X____X Does any of this make sense? It feels more like a omake episode!

Poor Gareki. Too many feelings!

So while Gareki and Hirato have a bonding moment over Hirato either wanting to adopt Gareki, put him to work, or make him his lover Yogi, Yanari, and Nai get to the place Yanari wants to go. Apparently Yanari's mother just up and left the father as his work was too demanding (or evil, yet to be seen). Just left. And didn't take Yanari. HMMM! I can see being upset that the husband ignores the family and what not but hommie did send someone out to look for the kid, he seemed quite worried. And if he is to be believed he doesn't want these monsters in his company. So....why didn't the mother try to get partial custody of the kid?

We will spend 2 minutes of the episode mourning mom. Nothing more.

Not that it matters. Mom is dead. The kid went to this shop to buy mom a present and she is dead. Saddest Seasame Street episode ever. An accident? A month ago? HMMM does this have something to do with Dad's business? Again this episode doesn't get very deep with the details. Just that Yanari is sad and alone and mom was not allowed to ever call her kid so she had to record her sentiments on a robot. I know that Nai is an animal that doesn't have parents but isn't it obvious why this kid is cry?

I don't think you should try making friends with a face that sorrow.

I think this is a new record when it comes to making friends. Or getting over your mother's death. Like the more the episode played the more my eyes went X___X at all these things happening. Clearly it was all happening at the speed of fast with no rhyme or reason just to get to the point that Yanari knew a girl that knows Karoku. I mean...everything was just so farfetched it wasn't even funny. Like this whole episodes was just to get to the point that Erisyuka has Karoku. That they know where he might be. But the fact that there is only one person named Karoku in the world and that Yanari even knows Erisyuka give she is so much older than him....that is almost as crazy as getting over the fact your mother died all alone in the world in a 4 hour time period. Why would Erisyuka be talking about Karoku as he seems to be a prisoner there. Is she that dumb?

I think you should stop looking for this jerk...

I am just guessing that Karoku and Nai have a special condition since Nai is able to hear him. Yet it seems as if Karoku is torturing the kid rather than trying to bring him closer. So in reality this episode was pretty much useless as Karoku tells Nai where he is. So no of this over the top drama was necessary. Poor juice...he threw it on the ground!!!! But yeah I am not sure if Nai needs to go find Karoku, he seems unstable. Maybe that is just the abuse talking.

The episode ends with all of Circus saying they would quit to help Nai find Karoku. That seems a bit over the top (again) with their train of thought. I mean I know they have known Nai for 3 week means true love in this universe time but how will that help anyone if they quit? So far Hirato really has gone above and beyond to help out Nai and Gareki. Just take a deep breath and tell him what is going on and see if he can plant some evidence or what not. Then go in with guns blazing. So dramatic. XD But yeah.....time to go rescue the Karoku. Hopefully he will be worth it?

Karneval episode 10

You shall not pass!

So sleepy doing nothing all day! I need to crack down and get things done tomorrow. Yeah I will get up early and clean the house and blog anime episodes!!!! XO The get things done day! But for now it is Karneval episode 10 time. Spoilers for.....magical unicorns gone mad?

Oh wow poor Gareki...I should go threaten him!

Episode Summary: An old woman was walking in her village when....Tsukumo floats by all Black Butler style dead in a boat. Rose petals and everything. The old woman follows her down the river while others look on. When Tsukumo reaches the end of the river Hirato poofs and scoops Tsukumo up. He states a drug has placed young Juliet in a death like state and POOF Circus magic has brought her back to life. He apologizes to the crowd and promises to be back to make things better later. Yogi is still in the hospital recovering from his “allergy” so Gareki and Nai are shipped off to...well Ship 1. Jiki and Kiichi get them registered and tell them they are not guests. They take them to a disgusting room and tell them to clean it by the time Kiichi comes back. Gareki sees this all as a challenge and is RARW I will bitch. Only Nai didn't get that message and tries to bond with all the robot bunnies in the world. Gareki notes that Nai is cute and special....and makes the bunnies help clean the room which pisses Kiichi off. At dinner time Tsukitachi informs everyone that Tsukumo is okay. Once the cheering has stop Gareki mentions Tsubame. Gareki tries to be cool about it but says she is doing all that can to help the cause and to support Gramps back at home. Gareki tries to change the subject by asking how Circus can do all these amazing things. Tsukitachi is like oh we are going on a mission tomorrow, we can show you then. Jiki is upset about this and decides to punish Gareki and Nai in a training exercise. It was basically showing Gareki how weak the boy really is. He talks about how Gareki doesn't know how strong the real enemy is and really Gareki is around to keep Nai in check. Gareki is a little pissed but that night it is Nai who was the most upset by these words. Nai ends up leaving the room and being kidnapped by bunnies before being taken to Tsukitachi. He talks about how he is tired of people (Gareki) being in danger because of him and just wants Gareki to be safe at home. Tsukitachi is like what home does Gareki have which makes the little Pikachudragon think. Tsukitachi urges Nai to do his best and Circus might help him with his problems.

Yogi finally wakes up in the hospital and tries to escape but Akari is on to him. It doesn't help Yogi at all when he learns that Nai and Gareki are having a super fun time on Ship 1 and are going on a field to somewhere special today. It turns out this super special place is an animal sanctuary and lately there have been poachers coming around killing the little critters. Well the poachers have also been coming up dead so Ship 1 along with Azana and some other researchers have arrived to see what is going on. Nai is taken with Jiki and most of the researchers to check on the animals while Tsukitachi takes Gareki inside some cave. He explains this area is rather special and cut off from the world thus the creatures here have evolved differently. As such there are special properties to them and Circus has taken the time and energy to find out what is special about them. A cell called Icura. They were able to take this cell and make all that Circus has today. But it takes a person with really strong character to wield such power this the few members Circus does have. HMMM Yogi. Outside one of the researchers is looking for a particular animal when POOF...it appears and looks like the monsters Circus has been fighting. It turns on people and starts attacking. Kiichi springs to action and one of the male researchers cries, begging them not to kill the anime. Both Jiki and Kiichi are pissed and for good reason. The male researcher apparently gave this animal some sort of drug to help it fight off predators but now...yeah its just a monster. The researcher starts crying, saying the man who gave him the drugs claimed to work for Akari and thought he could be trusted. Jiki protects those who are not in Circus while Kiichi fights. Yogi even shows up to protect Nai and Kiichi takes out the monster with compassion. Gareki and Yogi have a dramatic reunion, revolving around Gareki never saying Yogi's name. All the Ship 2 people go back to Ship 2 to find Tsukumo waiting for them. Hugs and welcome home for all! Well until Jiki shows up and says he is staying for a while. For a second somewhere else Karoku's condition is talked about, that he won't survive long? Back in their rooms Nai has decided that Gareki's new home is this ship and that Gareki should be with them forever. Gareki dies of embarrassment but decides he wants to stay longer too. THE END!

Well....well. Just a lot of well. But yeah I think it is safe to say that this show is going to get a second season. To explain why everything is taking its sweet time being explained and what not. Which is fine. Not everything has to be thrown at someone at once. Less hurt on the brain.

I really didn't think that Tsukumo was dead. Clearly Karoku poisoned Tsukumo to return her to Nai. Somehow. Of course some super secret message on Tsukumo somewhere would have helped. But Tsukumo being alive is a miracle in itself yes? I mean why didn't Frick and Frack AKA Kagiri and Kiharu do something to the “body”? Like you are going to pay CUT YOUR FINGERS OFF! Or at the least Kagiri should have taken her clothes. Uro and his talking to himself....self would want to parade the dead body around or at the very least take the bracelet. So does anyone know besides Karoku know what happened to Tsukumo? Like he was trying to help her escape but knew she was going to get caught? All of this is doubtful as a boat full of roses is pretty attention drawing. We will have to chalk this up to anime magic that Karoku turned Tsukumo into Juliet and no one messed with the body.

But did we see how serious Hirato was when it came to bringing Tsukumo back to life? I might have to put my yaoi glasses aside and look upon this pairing. Hirato is obviously older than the girl but when does that matter in the world of anime? Hirato is usually very calm and collect, but he was struggling to keep his composure. Characters....having feelings....not being stuck in one role? Nonsense. Hirato might be cold and calculating but apparently he has a heart. So he must like Nai and wants to keep the boy alive yes?

Um...hello to you too?

Despite being rescued Tsukumo needs to rest and Yogi is still down for the count. Nai and Gareki have the ultimate pleasure in staying with Ship 1. Perhaps it is because we haven't seen the human sides of Jiki or Kiichi yet. That we have only focused on Ship 2. Or maybe....Jiki is just too weird to understand. Although I can see growing on him than Kiichi. Still I can see her point that Yogi is “weaker” and cause problems for Circus. Just I haven't really seen her talent or why she thinks her opinions matter. Or maybe it is the way she does it, kicking and kicking while Yogi lays there and takes that. All of that being said I do think that Nai and Gareki should help around the Ships more but not be treated like slaves. Or be laughed at, like haha you had it easy on Ship 2, suffer our wrath!

If you are going to force me to sparkle I will sparkle the brightest!

Gareki...the ever suffering main character. He probably thought I am escaping Ship 2, to be with normal people! Only he gets there and is desperately searching through that room of crap to find my yaoi colored glasses. It was all a lie he told himself, he probably felt really bad about the circumstances behind them being on Ship 1. However Jiki and Kiichi failed at being the tiniest bit supportive and Nai wants to spend the entire night brushing creepy bunnies. Gareki has to sigh and embrace the madness. If you can't beat them make the do the work for you.

Is there anyone else in Circus besides the Captain and his two minions? That was a rather big dinner table for three people (minus the guests). Is the entire crew made up of rabbits! Circus needs to hirer more people! Oh and then there was talk that Tsukumo was found and that Tsubame is doing well. But lets talk more about the creepy bunnies!

While Gareki was trying to avoid talks that made him seem human the topic of their bracelets came up. FINALLY! FINALLY FOLKS! We got all this power, magic if you will, flying around and no one has asked about it yet! Like the pink elephant dancing with a lampshade in the middle of the room. Now of course we didn't get to learn about it right away. No no Jiki had to get all upset and throw his weight around with Gareki. Like look the real enemy can spit us all out and you pretty much suck when it comes to fighting. That is what Gareki gets for asking questions. Maybe I was wrong about Jiki being different from Kiichi. :( Gareki and Yogi need each other for support!

I only want Gareki to like me!!!!

I like how this ships travel at the speed of fast. Because POOF we are here folks, time to investigate. Of course Yogi did get their rather fast too....maybe the area of the world Circus is in charge of isn't that big. But that is details, details. We are finally going to learn why Circus is so special. It dawns on me the answer could have been people. See, we grind people up into magical sparkle dusts and TADA bracelets. Because the least likely answer is the correct one in anime. It is always people!

Not that this matters but Gareki has a much better outfit this trip. XD

Okay okay it wasn't people. Instead.....well it sounds like animals. X___X Not that they are cutting tons of animals up and taking their blood. Just that animals have a special cell in them, a super cell called Icura that makes their evolution special. Not that any of this really makes a whole lot of sense but if you throw an unknown compound in it makes the answer not matter. Because you can't really question it or refute its correctness. Just oh....sparkle animals and you took something out of them and now you can make top hats and ghost girls into weapons. Gareki seems impressed, give that kid a bracelet!

The others...well they did not have such a great job on this outing. Turns out that poachers are killing this animals. X___X Do they have magical flying ships too? But yeah if these animals are super special and important maybe they should be protected better and not after the fact? Not a zoo but something like a preserve, where help is more available? Poor little animals.

The final frontier!

There was a line that was almost thrown away but seems rather important. One of the researchers gave a giant Fail Unicorn a drug that would make it stronger against poachers. OH NO what could that medicine be?!?! Yeah but it was almost said so fast that it was hard to pick up on, the real meaning. Someone claiming to be with Akari gave you this drug? Researcher is dumb but smells like there is a spy in the house.

Kiichi killed the poor unicorn and all but lets talk about how Yogi got there and everything about his allergy was swept under the rug! Um shouldn't be grieving for that dead animal? Hello no Gareki you said my name! Everyone rejoice! Gareki should just accept his is special.

Poor Gareki. Just....this is your life now.

The reunion on Ship 2 ends the episode. Well and the addition of Jiki for some unseen reason. Shouldn't he be investigating who gave the researcher the drug? No instead we got Yogi happy that Gareki is there and Nai suggesting they stay there forever. Oh and Gareki blushing like a fool and trying to pretend he is there for revenge and not because he likes these people. Wave Tsukumo!!!!! Wait were there any clues on you? Guess it doesn't matter now.
