Deck the Halls: Wee Christmas Trees

WEEEE! This was supposed to be posted before Christmas.....but techinically it is not Christmas everywhere right?

Also HAHA no anime posting today. Obviously that was a pipe dream. I spent most of the day cleaning and waiting til the last minute to do things. Because Christmas sneaks up on a person.

So while we relax after playing some games and eating some noms let me entertain you with some Christmas trees! Enjoy.

This year my husband and I went to a Christmas party and inside the long hall were tons of Christmas trees. You could bid on them/buy them or just look at them. Can't remember if the money went to charity or not though.

Some trees were decorated according to where we live (Florida) or the business that sponsored the tree.

Some of the trees had handmade ornaments and some were bought from the store. This one was a handmade and really well done.

Dude I remember collecting Beanie Babies all the time. I wonder where they are.....

I thought this was a classically done tree. Really love the top. XD

Guilty Crown episode 11: Enter the WTF

Err….so yeah. XD Been busy. Been busy shopping, getting yelled at work, and being stressed out. But it’s okay folks. I just need to look to the sky and stop having low self esteem. I thought the issue was this driver was trying to run over small children and forgetting parts to orders. Silly me. If I just looked up to the sky and had better self esteem things would be better.

Does that make any sense to anyone else? No I didn’t think so. I work with insane people. I am just happy I don’t have to go to work on Christmas Eve. Don’t have to deal with any of that stress. Must have a happy face. Just hope the other stresses in my life simmer down. Simmer down folks.

But since it is not Christmas yet…let’s blog some anime. While watching The Grinch! XD Episode 11 of the special anime Guilty Crown is up now. Spoilers for things not making any sense at all WEEEE!

Yes exactly this...

Episode Summary: When we last saw our heroes Inori was about to be turned into…someone else while Tokyo Tower was sending out the Sparkle Crystal Virus. Well now Inori is okay and is helping Gai who is seriously not okay. If things weren’t bad enough Daryl loses his mind and kills his dad, his ho, and a bunch of other people because someone missed his birthday! Keido then announces that Funeral Parlor is behind the virus being rereleased and killing much of GHQ. He as the commander of Antibodies takes over everything concerning the military. He attempts to kidnap Haruka but Dan makes a sacrifice to save her. Shu hears the announcement that Funeral Parlor is at fault and he knows he must rescue them. Despite the fact that the school is under watch Shu breaks in and manages to get all the video club together as well as Arisa. Yahiro shows up as well because….well we don’t really know why. Shu has to think long and hard what to do as he needs their Voids to perform his rescue mission. In the end he uses Hare as an example and explains what Voids are. Despite the fact that Funeral Parlor being branded as terrorist everyone agrees to help Shu even Yahiro.

Err.....that too....

The word Mana is said by several characters but it is not explained. Inori almost takes out Shu’s momma trying to protect Gai. Instead of asking what the heck is going on Haruka helps Gai and Inori out. She takes them…somewhere and does something so when Inori starts singing everyone hears her. Oh and Voids randomly come out of Inori in the meantime. Her song starts to heal everyone who hears them and everyone goes YAY! This sorta messes with Keido’s plans as he was trying to do…something. Something involving MANA obviously. A gate to another world or something. In the meantime Shu and company are being driven around by the little robot dude. He uses everyone’s Voids to get past the guards, beat Daryl, and make it to Inori..all while crashing the car. He is all happy when he gets to Inori but HAHA. Someone comes out of a rip in space (that random blond kid from last episode) and takes out Inori’s Void. He is like sucks to be you Shu and runs off with her. But not before attacking Shu. Gai managed to stand in front of the attack and is now coughing up blood in Shu’s arms. OH and the crystal restarted itself and is now sucking up everything to make a castle in the sky? HAHA The End!

I….what….what?! WHAT?!

This show is insane. Insane folks.

Oh only Gai and I are in the plane now...even though he is OUT of the plane. I see.

First off…I am pretty dang sure that Inori was all transforming into another person last episode? Do we all remember that? Because if we viewers remember that then the writers have some explaining to do. Inori was all flopped over and saying no not this song SHE will come out. So….why didn’t that happen?

Err...maybe Inori should sing all the time and heal everyone? Just saying.

Of course after watching this episode Inori has everyone slightly confused. She got up and sang a special song. Which is just the closing song but you know. No word on why she didn’t “transform” into that other person so what was all that about last week? When Lost Christmas happened did Inori get merged with Gai’s special person? That the special person is now an insane person trying to take over the world? Or is it something more like the rock did some crazy things to Inori and now she is part rock person.

At this point I don’t know. At first we were dealing with the aftermath of a sparkle disease and now the gates to another dimension are being opened? That somehow this rock was able to take material from other buildings and create a new one in the sky? And we are to believe the scientist in this show were able to do all of this? No. Aliens must be involved. Crystal aliens who want to harness young girls for energy!

I am just adorable so believe me!!!!

I do like how Momma Haruka believed Inori and had a machine to help her sing away the crystals. Like oh I will not question what is going on and instead conveniently hook you up to this machine and save the world. Because no one can find us right?!

I also think I blinked a lot in this episode. Because I remember there being other people in the plane with Gai. Not sure where Inori was but I don’t remember her being close to Gai. In any event I didn’t see the men leaving Gai behind. Now did I see curly hair kid attack at Shu. But Gai did with his super eyes and he jumped in front of the slashy attack. Good thing Shu was practicing being a leader this episode because looks like he might be in from now on.

Well if it makes Shu feel important lets do it!!!!!!

I do like that Shu decided he needed to do something. I don’t like how he got blamed for everything since no one could have predicted Keido activating the crystal. Still it is admirable that he wants to save Inori, the girl who broke his heart, and Gai, the person who likes to torture and scream at Shu….Yeah it makes sense folks. And he is with Funeral Parlor for honorable purposes too! Because…they make him feel like someone. Okay Shu is just insane.

I think there should be a limit to how many Voids one can activate at once.

I guess I can see the other members of the video club wanting to help Shu. They seem to like Inori too despite the fact Shu just told them she was a “terrorist” but that seems understandable to me. Arisa makes a little less sense as she has not gotten a proper explanation on why he was on her grandfather’s boat nor are they close friends. Maybe we can chalk it up to her feeling the need to help her fellow students out? But Yahiro? Please. Shouldn’t he still be mourning the loss of his brother? You know the one Shu KILLED! Why did he show up? I understand he wanted to out Shu as a bad person but then he HELPED! That part was stupid.

The crazy ride to the place (the airport/secret base) was….special. But given how special this show has been so far I accept cars flying through the air. I also accept that Void bandages can fix bridges and what not. And that tiny little robot could drive the car. I accept a lot.

We were the super bad all along woohoo!!!!

I was wrong though. I thought GHQ was the one pulling the strings and Antibodies was going to be the enemy that was really on Funeral Parlors side the entire time. OH NO folks. Antibodies was like Eff you GHQ and the entire population of Tokyo. So Funeral Parlor was right all along. Things were bad.

WHERE ARE MY PRESENTS?!?!??! XO

So let us take a moment to mourn the loss of several very important people. Dan, Yan, and Yan’s mistress. And all other people who got turned into sparkles. So many people left us much too soon. So sad.

I knew I should have explored Tokyo more! They got separate dimensions in sky rise buildings!

What else what else. Oh yeah this show is insane. I think it will continue being insane and confusing for a long time coming. I mean….another dimension? Psht good thing this show is not like Code Geass at all. I think this show doesn’t know what the heck it is trying to do at this point. It is all….so wow. Inori has been kidnapped, Gai is dying (or dead), and the entire town looks like it is 5 seconds from being swept away in a tornado via sparkle rock power. Amazing.

SO EVERYTHING THAT MAKES ME WHOLE I'LL NOW GIVE TO YOU!!!!!!

This episode has left me speechless. It is kinda hard to write about something when you have no idea what is going on. Yay for next week (or next episode) when things will probably be more sad and depressing.

Shakugan no Shana Season Three episode 11

Hello there folks! It is slowly creepy towards Christmas time! I have been busy lately…having a social life. Or at least being busy. Shopping, wrapping presents, and battling people in the grocery store. Bleh I hate grocery shopping. But it is a must and things were just adding up these past few days. Sorry if the blog posts are up later and later. Things just seem to be busy.

Of course maybe everyone else is busy too. I just hope it is a good busy and not a X___X busy. Hopefully all the relatives coming to visit are happy people and that food is tasty and all gift giving is done with love. Happy Holidays to all.

Is that the snowflake the Whos live on?

Up late is Shakugan no Shana Season Three episode 11. Only 13 more to go folks yay! Or was it 15? Either way I can’t see how they can’t stretch this out so much. YAY! Spoilers for random snowflakes ans sexy times.

Like 5 episodes late dude!!!

Episode Summary: Eita picks Satou up from the train station. They act like guys and pretend they didn’t miss each other. Then they run home to where Margery is where Kazumi is waiting outside. Only Eita and Kazumi has no intentions on coming inside. They wish Satou “luck” and to call when Margery wakes up. Satou goes to Margery and starts talking about how sad he is for what she has gone through. He then talks about how she is his reason for living and she is not allowed to die. He kisses her and Margery is like yeah I was awake the whole time. She briefly talks about how she chased a fake Silver this whole time but is more interested in Satou repeating that he loves her. He states that he does and it is sexy times. Afterwards Margery is like okay time to get to work and says Satou is coming with her. Shana and company fly have escaped the falling apart YujiSnake de Casa and briefly stop over Granny Panties and her troops. They explain what the random star in the sky is and state they are going after YujiSnake. Granny Panties is like okay and proceeds to order her troops into battle.

Oh snap you are going to have to do work now?!

Things seem to be going well as the reinforcements for the baddies won’t be there for a while and the Flame Hazes have the upper hand. She attempts to divide her troops to get more stuff destroyed. The leader dude serpent gross fish thing realizes that things are not going well and he decides he is going to make his way to the battlefield. Only it turns out he is like 93208392 feet long. He powers up all the troops and they start taking out Flame Hazes with ease. The scarred dude and the rest of the Flame Hazes act like bait and the serpent thing takes the bait. Only Granny Panties comes from behind and kills him in one hit. Before Granny Panties can do a victory dance they all realize the reinforcements they thought were forever away were actually 5 seconds from where they were. Oppies. Meanwhile Shana and her people have already made it to the place that YujiSnake and his peoples are. Amazing folks! THE END!

Okay….so…I has some questions.

Satou and Rebecca left Kidnap Central (aka OutLaw Headquarters) together. I assumed that maybe Rebecca met with her people and Satou went home. But….yeah. Rebecca has been out and about all this time and we are now just seeing Satou arrive home? Maybe she took the fast train and Satou actual took a slow taxi?

Sorry it took me a million episodes to get here. But I am a man after all. XD

Of course I could just be acting stupid and realize this events are all happening at the same time. Because I am stupid, not the creators for showing this events side by side instead of AFTER they happened. Yeah silly me. So it is weird watching Satou arrive back after Rebecca has done and gone to battle.

I am surprised that Eita didn't hand him a condom.

Eita and Kazumi…X__X. They were so weird. Like oh we are so happy you are alive Satou. We shall celebrate your return with a fabulous party even though you just left a week ago. Oh…wait we are just going to say good luck and wink while running away. That was smooth folks. Super smooth.

I am not sure how I feel about Margery and Eita’s scene. Margery was pretty upset about the truth about Silver. She nearly died and mentally she sorta shut down. A lot. In bed for DAYS. Or minutes. It is hard to tell with this show. The point is she was not in a good place. And all Satou needs to do is say a few words and she is able to open her eyes? Granted when someone says they love you that is pretty powerful but still. I was expecting more to happen, a little more drama and suspense.

So when Margery did magically wake up after 5 seconds….it was straight to sexy times?! They talked about how they felt about each other not what Margery just went through. I am not saying sexy times couldn’t happen. I just thought since Margery had just been through a lot of trauma just maybe she would want to talk about it. Not just make sure Satou loves her and rip off her clothes.

In the end Margery wakes up, has some sex, and is ready for battle. Okay. She got better really fast. But since this show is taking things REALLY slowly maybe it was time to randomly speed things up that actually required some talking.

I am announcing my plan to the enemy! This is a sound plan WEEEEEE!

Shana was amazing this episode folks. She flies over to Granny Panties and the troops (whom are caught in a random snow storm when did that happen?!) and screams out the plans to them. Like hey everyone this is what is going on and I am leaving now hopefully no one tries to stop me on the way. Thankfully the troops that are left suck so Shana and company are able to fly off into YujiSnake land without any major stops. And they make excellent time! Wee so amazing.

I like how Granny Panties was watching all the action with the three other strong people (well maybe not all of them but most of them). Like we shall send everyone in red shirt to die and we will be the ones left standing and take all the glory YAY!!!

Granny Panties is slightly scary....

Okay that is a bit unfair. I mean…Granny Panties did get up and do one attack. Someone does comment that she uses a lot of energy in this one attack. So clearly she deserves to be command and chief of all the Flame Hazes which by the way are multiplying like flies. Good thing they needed Wilhelmina so badly because they had no other troops.

Errr....you should have been the one fighting to begin with....

I don’t remember that fish monster being so huge either. I thought he was in the bar that one day. But maybe that was just a picture or floaty orb of him because he is actually the biggest creature ever. Which makes sense to make him the command and chief NOT the main fighter. Obviously folks. Obviously.

How did they get there so fast.....

So Margery gets some, Shana is FREE with her new power, and Granny Panties is leading the troops through a snow storm. Next week Shana and YujiSnake meet again. It has been 5 hours people MOG!

Mirai Nikki episode 11

I am trying think of something funny to say. But in light of the butter crisis in Norway that would be horrible right? SIMPLY HORRIBLE!

Also I can't even make fun of my co-workers because apparently they are barely human. My cat might be smarter than them. What do you mean walking out in the middle of a shift and then cussing at a manager isn't a good idea? Really folks really.

So I will just into the post Mirai Nikki episode 11 time. Spoilers for people getting hurt MOG!

Err.....why so angry?

Episode Summary: Keigo has prostrated himself in front of Minene begging for a favor. Minene is like why the hell would you want to be in an alliance with me? Keigo wants a decent person to become the god in the event he doesn’t win. Okay then. Yuki is walking home thinking how INSANE Yuno is and how his lie might push her over the edge. He doesn’t know what to do but it doesn’t matter as the police come and arrest Yuki. He and Yuno are taken to the police station where Keigo is planning what to do next. Yuno’s eyes begin to change as she looks for a weapon and Yuki realizes she has switched to crazy….er mode. Yuki calms her down and says everything will be okay. Yuki goes to see Keigo first and Keigo says this is all a mistake and that everything will be fine. Then he decides to play Russian Roullette with Yuki confirming things are NOT okay. Despite the fact that her Diary doesn’t say Yuki is in danger she switches to crazy mode and bashes people with a fire extinguisher and steals their guns. Keigo is explaining to Yuki that he can’t go after Yuki or Yuno unless they become criminals. Yuki starts crying because their Survivor Alliance with Coach and Ozzy is falling through. He aims the gun at Yuki again when Yuno rushes in and shoots Keigo. They run off as all the policey people chase them. Minene’s random….love interest cop is taken hostage and begs the entire time for Yuki to let him go. During the chase both Yuki and Yuno shoot cops. That makes them criminals and Keigo is like HAHA I am not dead. He orders everyone to chase after the now criminals. For some reason Yuki and Yuno run to the roof. Yuki thinks they are done for but they jump and land on a truck. Yay for living.

Who the heck wrapped his face?!

Keigo has been injured in the ear so his people bandage up his entire face. No matter as he has criminals to find. Yuki and Yuno are hiding out as they know from their Diaries they will die if they go looking for food. The show takes a moment to let Yuno PEE ON THE FLOOR before they notice Keigo’s wife walking into a hospital. Since she has doughnuts they follow her. Only before they can finish following her Minene jumps out of nowhere and kidnaps Yuki. Only Yuki accidentally causing most of the floor around them to disappear. Yuno tries to rescue Yuki which turns into a comical mess with Yuki and Minene both trying to live. Then Keigo calls because HE is aware of the explosion….and not the rest of the staff. He misunderstands and thinks that Minene has switched sides. Minene gets both her and Yuki across the ladder and decides that well…she might as well join forces as explaining this will be dumb. She then shows the two why Keigo is a Diary User. His wife was visiting their very ill son that is going to die soon. Minene is like so we will use them as hostages and eat doughnuts. Yuki doesn’t like this plan and Minene is like MAN UP. THE END because the after show stuff is dumb.

So….are we not going to see the outcome from the dog ordeal? I am guessing NO since Yuno and Yuki are going to be on the run now and I don’t see school in their immediate future. This show does not do a good job in following up on major issues. Like the entire school blows up and Yuki goes to an amusement park? Mao gets stabbed and Hinata loses her dad yet we see nothing of that? It all just feels….too open ended. Do not like.

Wasn't she trying to kill you in the second episode?

Keigo was all over the place this episode. Really I am not sure why Minene hasn’t killed him yet. I guess because she is an actual criminal and can be tracked easier. Maybe Keigo trusts her because he actually knows her reason for trying to become God? That is the only reason I can see him bowing down and asking for a favor. Now he really should have worked on Yuki more as that kid eats up every single sob story ever. He probably would have killed himself to let that kid live. But maybe Keigo knows that Yuno is so crazy he needed to take them out as soon as possible.

Why didn't she aim for the head?

Now I kind want to know what Minene’s reason for wanting to be god is. She doesn’t seem like the most stable person but I guess no one is in this crazy world. But it must be a good reason if Keigo is going to trust HER and not Yuki. I mean if someone killed Yuno I think Yuki would understand that and not take revenge. They better do it now before he gets in any deeper though. So I wonder why Kiego would put his cards in the Minene basket. Was he looking for Minene all along to work with her? HMMM folks.

Good job watching Yuno there...

I think bringing them into the integration room was a little weird. I wonder if he could have orchestrated Yuno and Yuki shooting “innocent” people without getting his hands so dirty and obvious. Of course since he is ahead of the police force (or at least high up in the department) so Yuno would automatically assume it was him. Still he took a great risk by being the one in the room with Yuki. Eventually Yuno was going to make it in there with a weapon. Guess super girl needs better gun training yes?

Seems slightly unnecessary.

So….when did Yuno have a visible change from semi crazy to totally insane? Why was in necessary to make her eyes change obviously? I think things were find before. Besides she already had some crazy, normal eye changes when her moods would turn to the extreme. It was almost like a different personality taking Yuno over when I think it is all just Yuno depending on how crazy the situation gets. I think the eye changing thing was unnecessary.

Why have so many episodes featured someone using the bathroom?!

Okay. So Yuno is a very intelligent person. She seems to come up with plans at the drop of a hat. Or maybe since she has been through this timeline or event before she just has a better understanding of what to look for. So why couldn’t her little eyeballs see the bucket in the room? I understand when times are tough bathroom needs get a little…rustic. But there was a BUCKET! Put the bucket in the opposite corner of the room, use it, and put something over the bucket. Don’t go on the floor!

Also I want to know why Yuki and Yuno left their hiding spot. Granted their Diaries did say they would die on their food run but I wouldn’t risk going after some woman, the WIFE of the person out to kill me. It really made no sense for them to be interested in her. Yuno should have been super suspicious and not let them leave the room. Or just knock the wife unconscious and steal the doughnuts.

And no one is at the hospital. Not one person!

I also have no idea why Minene was at the hospital. I mean it makes sense that Keigo would send her there AFTER finding out where they were. But Minene already had the bombs in place and what not. Maybe Keigo made her place those there in a worst case scenario type deal but why was she already there? I mean it was by chance they knew the wife from the marriage seminar thingy thing and a bigger coincident that they saw the wife walk into the hospital. How did Keigo know to send Minene there?

I am not sure how I felt about Minene’s moment being more of a joke than a serious moment. I mean I guess the show has gotten a little dark but still. It was pretty….comical and I don’t think Yuno would act like that. At least them crossing the ladder was reasonably done.

So serious right?!

One thing in particular was how Minene was stuck trying to save her neck verses telling Keigo she was still on his side. It was all done so comical yet it was truly serious situation. Then she picks up Yuki and says find let’s form a temporary alliance and use a sick kid as a meat shield. Such a flip flopping situation.

We can't even muster up a scream or two?

The mom rocked by the way. Like um hi why are you in my kids room…eating my doughnuts….talking about using us to take out someone? Like a little reaction PLEASE!

Oppies. Now I can't hate on Yuno for hurting people now!

So according to the internets episode 13 was about the time in the manga material that Yuno really goes insane. We are in a hospital full of people who can’t defend themselves. This might get ugly folks. X__X

Fate/Zero episode 12

Moving right along!!! I am glad I watched three anime episodes before the 8932483 hour Survivor Finale started. It is easier to blog when I have something to watch while I write. That and I have isolated myself in the bedroom trying to keep warm. Of course the bed is near a window….

But yes folks! I think I am nearly caught up now with all available episodes. Hopefully anyway. The Season is slowly coming to an end. Then poof January will be here and an all new season will occur and I will be behind again.

Nope. I hate him. He can't do anything nice.

But for now I am happy to be nearly caught up. Fate/Zero episode 12 baby! Thought there was only 13 but okay let’s roll with that. Spoilers for new houses and someone fishing for a new Master.

Maybe next you can write Granny Panties a letter? Such awesome pieces of technology here.

Episode Summary: Kirei and Tokiomi are having a little meeting. Kirei talks about how all his Assassins are dead now but they know what Rider’s special ability is. Tokiomi basically thanks Kirei for doing all the work but now he gots this! Kirei returns to the church (or wherever he was at) and Archer is there playing a game of chess by himself. Kirei seems relieved that all his Assassins are dead but acknowledges that he is not out of the War yet. He explains that rules which basically state Masters without Servants can get picked again if a Master is killed and a Servant is still alive. Archer seems very interested by this knowledge. Emiya is somewhere....eating a burger. He talks to his “friend” to make sure Irisviel is okay but he goes back to his wall o suspects. He talks to himself about each of their abilities and weakness and when he should take out people. He seems upset that Kirei might be targeting him.

You could afford more bombs if you didn't smoke!

Saber is driving Irisviel to their new home which looks like an old Japanese style house. Irisviel and Saber look around and think it is nice as a house but not the ideal place for headquarters. Irisviel decides to make all the spells up in the storage shed which looks more structurally sound. Saber picks up on the fact that Irisviel is not touching anything. Saber questions what is wrong and Irisviel explains since she is a homunculus she faces many challenges in life and she is a pretty weak person. She is limited her sense of touch to make her magic stronger. Saber is upset but decides to protect Irisviel and serve her no matter what. Meanwhile Kirei has been talking to Archer all this time about people’s motives for wanting the Grail. He doesn’t talk about Emiya at all and spends most of his time talking about Kariya’s motives. Archer finds this laughable as Kariya’s motives are clear and probably the stupidest. Archer keeps working Kirei up and things don’t get better when Kirei is chosen to be a new Master in waiting. Kirei doesn’t want to be a Master if someone else’s wish is killed. But Archer is yes PICK ME! THE END!

Well look at that! Fate Zero actually explained something! Two somethings actually! Pick me off the ground I am shocked! SHOCKED! I understand things weeee!!!!

XO Kirei had a lot to say in this episode. Which I think is pretty funny because on a whole Kirei and his Servant haven’t done a great deal in this series thus far. And since his Servant is ALL DEAD well what can Kirei do now?

Episode 12 and we are getting the rules explained?....Okay!

Well that is where the rules come in. The reason why the Church houses fallen Masters is because they are most likely to be rechosen if a Master is killed and his/her Servant is left behind. I think I just assumed if a Master was killed the Servant would disappear as well. So now it makes more sense that the Masters are trying to kill the other Masters. Of course if one wanted to be ethical (HAHAHA ethical in this game?!) they could still just target the Servants if they wanted to avoid bloodshed.

HMMM I wonder who will be chosen....

But the other part of the rule makes perfect sense to me. It seems as if the Grail had a hard enough time choosing 7 people. It had to pick Ryuu, someone who knew no magic and is a serial killer, then how can it possibly pick another person? Would the 8th person be any worse? That entire magic school has no one appreciate to pick from? If not it makes sense to keep all the surviving Masters alive. It might not be good for the other Masters as their lives are in danger again and now they need to have a whole new strategy right away but it makes sense if you are a Grail. A very mean Grail.

Riding in style!

Saber driving around town was fun to watch. Of course when we found out WHY she was driving around instead of Irisviel it was sad. But to see a modern day Saber having fun in car was fun to see. And I love how she thought it would have been dangerous to have cars back in her day. Such great insight yet cars are pretty dangerous even today. XD

I think this new base o command is a downgrade from the last one. Of course it looks like they spent all their money on the first place. Like err it is Motel 6 time for you now! XD The house didn’t look that bad persay. Actually it was pretty spacious given how tight some portions of Japan can be. As Irisviel revealed though it was not a great…fortress. It hard to protect against the enemy when you live in a house made of rice paper.

The whole Irisviel is “dying” was….interesting. I like how it was done. She wasn’t coughing or making it obvious her condition. I thought her not taking the keys was weird but I thought maybe it had to do with ownership of the house. Like maybe people can’t track her down if she does not touch the keys or something. The not driving and asking Saber to get boxes seemed normal to me. But Saber was all over that! Go Saber.

Saber is a pretty smart Servant here.

Of course….I am not sure why Irisviel is falling apart. Yes I know she is a “fake” human but some things about her existence makes me wonder. She was real enough to give birth another “fake” human right? Maybe I am not clear on what a homunculus means in the Fate Zero universe means. XD I shall read up on it and maybe it will all make more sense.

After some reading I am still a bit confused on why someone would want to create a homunculus. Yes they seem to have a better control of magic/stronger magics but the drawbacks seem too high. Why not just train your family better than relying on a “fake” human you have to create? Also not sure why Irisviel would give birth knowing what kind of fate her daughter would have. Seems weird to me but people in this story seem to have poor parenting skills.

Concern can only come in small doses or it is rude...or something.

I do like that Saber was concerned for Irisviel but wasn’t crying and falling all over the place. I mean I would have done that but Saber has such a great sense of honor and what not she didn’t want to embarrass her Master and felt bad about asking. She will help out Irisviel in every way she can and not mention the condition every five minutes. I do think that Saber will keep more of a watchful eye on her. I think Saber handled the situation very Saber like.

What I did not like was how there was no mention of Saber’s almost meltdown last episode. She was pretty hurt over Rider’s CRUEL words last week yet there was no mention of it this week. I think she should have been upset or shown some sign of inner struggle. Just a little disappointed that this issue was brushed over.

It is always weird seeing Emiya on the screen. Like I know he is the real Master but he acts so far removed from the situation I consider him to be playing a different game. When in reality he is playing the hardest game out of everyone isn’t he? I like how he sat down and went over everyone on his tiny little map. Maybe he should care more about his “wife” but clearly he has other things on his mind. WINNING!

Why...I am a strong Servant! Imagine that!

Watching Archer handle Kirei was AWESOME. Archer really, REALLY hates his Master doesn’t he? It was like he was basically saying please murder my Master so you can be my new one. And Kirei just licked it all up and is now beyond confused. I guess SOMEONE is mad that a command seal got used on them so early on in the war.

I do wonder what reason Archer would want to change Masters. Maybe he thinks Kirei’s lack of wish will allow him to control him better? Or could Archer simply not care about this war and Tokiomi cares way too much? All this spying and laying low might get to a person who wants to be out and about, flashing their bling. In any case Archer was like here is a knife, go find his back!

Kirei…he is one hot mess. I thought that we would see him turn on Tokiomi himself but no! All along he was his butt monkey and was okay with it. Like who does that?! Crazy people. Then he listened to Archer to a T and followed people to understand their reasons for participating in the Grail War and his conclusion was…he didn’t want to have a wish because it will kill someones. X___X Why did the Grail choose him again? Well he is better that Ryuu.

I think there is too much polite talk in this series. More punches to the face please.

Although I do agree with Kirei in regards to Kariya. While Kariya does have a noble reason for wanting the Grail it doesn’t go along with other reasons why people are in this war. He has a decent and reasonable person’s wish. A simple wish. And for that Kirei might find the most honor in that. He doesn’t see the joy in suffering nor do I. I know a lot of people think that way but you know…Kariya is a sad little case.

So in the end Saber gets a new place, Archer is trying to get a new Master, and Kirei is so confused. So very confused. Will the next episode have a battle or will it be everyone else doing their final moments of the season? I guess if it a battle we are going to have to wait to see the conclusion anyway….so maybe it will be more talking? Or just an entire episode of Saber driving a car. Just not with Rider because he sucks. :(
