Tenchi the Packrat!

So in the great cleaning event that was last month I came across many items that have outlived their use. Many were donated either to the trashcan or a consignment shop. I can’t believe we moved twice with all this extra…STUFF!

Of course...my house has never looked this bad...

But before some things went to their final resting place (either the trash or in a small box in the closet, just ONE now) I took some time to go through all these lovelies. A walk down memory lane. Or crazy newbie anime lane as it were. Also we must take a moment of silence to remember all the ink cartilages I killed over the years.

-Every single note I had ever received in junior and high school. EVERY SINGLE ONE! And the writer and I would use the longest names ever.
- Tenchi, love of Piccolo, owner of Quatre, love of Nuriko, Sailor Mercury, Batman

-Every single email/posts from one of the first anime websites I joined. All FIVE of those folders are covered in anime pictures.

-Every single planner/weekly journal given out at schools. All are covered in anime stickers and pictures with very little space left for assignments.

-My senior project which was on different manga drawing styles and what different things symbolized. I found a few spelling mistakes (I know, ME catching a spelling mistake) my teacher missed.

-One of my government papers which was supposed to be about Democrats and Republicans. I instead wrote about The Dragons of Heaven and the Dragons of Earth. I got an A.

-Quite a few Chinese type dresses/shirts that I thought were amazing and..well Japanese. Thanks for trying mom.

-Very dead Tamagotchis.

-20 hotel keys from various anime conventions I have attended.

-Two or more copies of every single anime convention guide. This is after I cut up and use one copy for scrapbooking.

-Every single journal I have ever kept. Apparently I was going to marry Nick Carter!

-A spoon and napkin baby. And the thing is…my now husband was the father of these children! Good thing we stayed together 12 years after they were created.

-Pay stubs from my first job. Woohoo for affording a camera and DVD player.

-About 40 military uniforms!

-100 Neopet plushies from McDonalds.

And that is just the tip of the iceberg. I had shells, plastic shovels, pens from hotels, and every piece of paper every shoved at me at anime conventions. Clothes that I wore 10 years ago and Yu-Gi-Oh cards. Video games all over the place. PHEW! My house feels more organized now. Like a burden I didn't know has been lifted off my chest. I can focus now and I feel as if I can use my free time to do "fun things" and not feel guilty about huge messes that are lurking around every corner.

Clean your house folks! Your mental health and maybe your wallet (if you can sell the stuff) will thank you. If anything else you will have more room for new lovely things!

Another episode 4

I am so tired. X____X

My husband…I love him dearly…but he has kept every single uniform the military has ever issued. EVER. Do you know how many uniforms that is? Dear Lord. So tired. But now my closet is o so clean! Today has been a productive day.

HAHA! Too bad for you!

So I meant to blog this earlier but I got caught up in throwing everything away in the house. Now it is time to eat ice cream and blog. Up now is Another episode 4. Spoilers for DEATH!

Guess that means Kouichi's dad needs to watch out!

Episode Summary: Students from other classrooms are talking about Yukari and her untimely death. Turns out her mother had just been killed in a car accident as well. They whisper about whether or not this was the curse and how it can affect family members and friends as well. Once the curse starts one person will die per month so they decide to keep their distance from Class 3. Kouichi is absent from school as he had a doctor’s appointment. His new lung is doing well so that is positive. He meets with Nurse Sanae after her shift. She mentions she has a brother in Kouichi’s class but she is not close to him. She promises to ask her brother about the curse and Mei as she is not familiar with that. But she adds her two cents in about the deaths and Mei, saying that while Mei might be creepy the death might not be connected to her. On the way home Kouichi meets up with a RANDOM classmate. He has to be reminded who Izumi is but recognizes this actor girl. While talking a piece of glass nearly kills them both and the girl freaks out all over the place.

So after that creepy event Kouichi decides to visit the doll shop to calm down. The lady behind the counter says the EXACT same speech to Kouichi as last time. He goes downstairs and Mei is downstairs. Despite the fact that Mei wanted to open up last time now she thinks it is better if Kouichi knows nothing. At home Kouichi tries to get answers out of his Aunt. She has the world’s worse headache and can’t even form sentences. She tries to tell Kouichi the key to surviving Class 3 but ends up screaming at the bird instead. Before school all of Class 3 is talking about what they need to do. They don’t know if the curse is starting or not but think their situation is similar to Class 3 from two years ago. Izumi blames herself for not handling Kouichi better and him acknowledging Mei. Kouichi walks in and everyone ignores him. During break Kouichi hunts down Teshigawara and asks him what is going on. Teshigawara acknowledges he promised to tell him the truth in June…but Izumi is standing right there and is saying NO! Kouichi gets a phone call while Teshigawara and Izumi argue over what to do. Nurse Sanae is on the phone with news her brother freaked over the word Mei. She gets an elevator while talking to Kouichi and….the cable snaps and she plummets to the ground. Kouichi listens in horror as all the metal squishes her like a pancake. THE END!

WOOHOO! Another death. This show is moving right along isn’t it?

Is why this show is called another? I laugh.

I really liked how this episode opened. I wanted people to talk about what happened with the umbrella and Yukari’s neck. And I thought it was going to be Class 3 talking about what to do now. Which they did but it didn’t open the show. Instead it was other students in the school. Everyone knows of this rumor/story but no one seems to want to talk about it. Well now that we got a dead body in the staircase it is time to start talking.

Looks like some people believe though...

As Mei hinted to Kouichi his classmates might not believe the story/rumor. So it might be a while before we get the whole story from them. So I think opening the show up with other classes talking about Class 3 was important. Now we know that family members of Class 3 students are in danger from the curse. Well…I guess with dead momma we might have already figured that out. Still they actually flat out said it when no one from Class 3 has really said…anything.

I think at this point Kouichi would believe anything. Or would be grateful that people are looking at him.

Well until later in the episode. And only because Kouichi hadn’t arrived yet to the classroom. I suppose they all could be calling each other or talking after school but my point is we haven’t gotten a straight answer out of them. And it seems to them they aren’t quite sure what is going on yet. Like is this the curse or is it an awful accident? They talked about things are happening similar to two years ago so obviously classes do talk. And they also hinted that maybe this is all happening because Kouichi acknowledged Mei.

Nope nothing going on here!

Which I am also starting to understand. Maybe Class 3 hasn’t talked about Mei and the curse yet because merely telling him about it will start it. Everyone who grows up in town KNOW not to say or acknowledge the “Misaki” of that class. Yet if they tell Kouichi not to talk to Mei they are acknowledging the fact she exists .Which she doesn’t. So I can see how many people are on edge and not talking about the curse but I can also see how keeping this from Kouichi is making him antsy.

She seems a little TOO clueless....

HOWEVER it seems not everyone in town knows about the curse. Or how it affects class 3. Unless Nurse Sanae was pretending to be all confused. I would think in a smallish kinda town with tons of weird and unexplained deaths that happen to ONE certain junior high…everyone would know. It seems to me that the town might trying to control the amount of people affected by the curse by putting children of Class 3 in Class 3. I could be wrong but if that thinking is right I would think that families would be aware of what is going on and know to keep things on the hush hush, not spill the beans to the new kid in town.

Well now she will never know the truth.

So because of that I thought Sanae was really in what REALLY is going on, if the dolls and Mei are a smoking gun. But given how the episode ends…I guess Sanae was telling the truth and really had no idea what was going on. I did think it was weird how close she was becoming with Kouichi. Like he was in the hospital as a patient and you are way older than him. I thought it was creepy and there was more to that relationship. Guess not.

What the hell?! TELL ME NOW!

I am slightly disappointed in Mei though. I thought homegirl was going to tell Kouichi something. Last week she was all smiling and waiting to say something but Kouichi was pulled away by a phone call. Now she is all smiles and saying that she won’t tell Kouichi. All the while saying how other people won’t tell him because they don’t believe the truth yet. Well which is it Mei? At the very least you could tell him why people are pretending you don’t exist. Surely you know that. But I guess you rather be mysterious and what not.

Not going to lie when the doll fell down in the shop I thought someone with long hair was going to die. I guess the matter of death was similar though. Splat. Still maybe that is a red herring.

Speaking of birds…..that bird is annoying. And apparently getting on someone’s nerves. Is what the bird is saying a clue to what is going on or did Reiko just have a headache and was taking it out on the bird? Seeing how the other birds in town are looking ominous too I am going with….spoiler face!

Kill the bird!

But Aunt Reiko was acting like she was having brain problems. Like the synapses were misfiring or something. I know she said she’s been having headaches but homegirl couldn’t put three words together. And then she blames the bird. THE BIRD. I think Kouichi would believe Aunt Reiko if she said she rather not talk about her time in Class 3 than her lies that she doesn’t remember. I don’t think people forget things like this.

Yeah now that suspect things we can't tell you anything!

I found it interesting that Izumi flat out said LOOK we are not telling you the truth. Someone STUPID promised you the truth but you aren’t getting it so keep on walking. That is slightly more honest than pretending nothing exists right? Although I want to know why Izumi thinks if she was at school that first day would have stopped Kouichi from talking to Mei? Is she magic? Not that it matters since he talked to Mei in the elevator.

Take that Blood-C!

Now we are up to the MOG moment of the week. It was really MOG for me as I was thinking the nurse was up to no good. Well now she is down on the floor. Like a pancake. And the writers wanted to make sure we knew she was dead as we were shown her head hitting the ground twice. And then the ceiling collapsed on her and made a jelly sammich out of her body. She is gone folks.

And Mei is not responsible. Which is funny as Sanae thinks while Mei’s situation is WEIRD she didn’t think Mei and umbrella gate was connected. Maybe the person who is responsible is the person who was at the scene both times? Of course neither Mei or Kouichi were there when Momma Umbrella got in a car accident.

So what will happen next week? Well obviously Kouichi will be on the phone and it will magically get cut off. That is a no brainer. But will someone else bit the dust? If someone is to die once a month as June already reached their quota? I think that it is pretty much busted as Momma and Daughter Umbrella are both dead. So maybe more people will die next episode.

Mirai Nikki episode 16

XO It feels like forever since I blogged. In my defense....um...I guess I have no excuse. XD Just found all these interesting things to read and listen to on the internet. But I had watched Mirai Nikki and Another right when they came out. Just I was taking my time blogging them or what not.

Such a lovely face. XD

But now I have motivation to get stuff done today. Go to the bank and what not. Get stuff done! So it is time to blog. Up first is Mirai Nikki episode 16. Spoilers for Yuki being in danger again!

Everyone involved with Yuki is insane. That is all.

Episode Summary: At the hospital Random Cop dude and Akise leave Yuki in the capable hands of Minene who has gone Bob Harper on him and is making him exercise. She is going to whip him into shape so he can take on 7th. During this workout Yuki’s Dad walks in and is instantly jealous that a hot nurse is on his son. After that insanity Dad explains he is there to visit his son after all his drama. It is decided that Minene will train both men and if Yuki wins he gets any wish granted. He automatically wants his parents to remarry because he is FIVE YEARS OLD! Dad agrees with this insanity because he is stupid. Akise and Random Cop go to see how Yuno is doing but as usual she has snuck out of her room and is spying on Yuki. Yuno comes to the conclusion Daddy is an okay guy and won’t have to stab him. Elsewhere Marco and Ai are busy whispering sweet nothings into each other’s ears. Ai does get a little dramatic when her diary shows Marco talking to another girl but he is really buying her an engagement ring so all is okay. Throughout the day Yuki and his Dad compete in different events. Both suck and are weak but Yuki manages to beat his Dad every time. But Minene keeps on rewarding his father with all the points and telling Yuki to just enjoy being with his dad.

I WANT TO SEE THE STARS!!!!!!

During the last competition (which is worth 100 points) Dad reveals that he divorced his wife because he was in debt. Yuki is all depressed now because that means they can’t get remarried. During the run Minene gives Yuki a pep talk about life and stuff. She drives off and talks to Random Cop. Apparently all of this training is to fool 7th into thinking they have a plan going on and that will stop 7th from destroying their cellphones. But now Random Cop owes Minene or something. When Yuki reaches the top he finds a note from his dad saying he had to do some work. In reality Dad has made it back to the hospital room and is looking for Yuki’s cellphone. If he can destroy the phone he can erase all his debt. Yuno hears this all so things could get bad. Random Cop has made it to 8th’s place and is investigating what is up with her.

Yuno with a knife? Is it 2 o clock already?

Yuki and his Dad are in the room chillin when Yuno comes in with her knife. Yuki tries to protect his Dad but Yuno informs him of what is going on, that Dad is actually employed by 11th. 7th then calls Yuno and says to bring Dad to them so they can get the lead on 11th. Yuno tricks Dad into saying the people who hurt them have their cellphones but she knows how to find them. They bring Dad to Marco and Ai AKA the bride and groom on top of a huge tower. Marco punches Dad and leaves the cellphones out in the open for anyone to get. Yuki tries to save his Dad and that ends well. For Marco’s fist. Dad gets up and destroys Yuki’s cellphone. But Yuno has already figured out Ai was really holding the phones and manages to steal them back. Ai and Marco’s partner calls and says he is going to blow the tower now. Of course the part he blows first is the floor under Yuki’s feet. Yuno and Dad both run towards Yuki, with Dad stating he will buy Yuki a new cellphone meaning he doesn’t know about the Diaries. THE END!

Another episode and Yuno is the most amazing person ever. Does this girl have any weaknesses? I think not.

This plan seems rather...mild.

Breaking them up would have been a better plan!

I am a bit sad though. I thought maybe Akise was slightly amazing. I thought maybe he was the one planting false information on Marco to Ai. Like who is this home wrecking girl you are talking to! I thought you loved me! Like mog was this Akise’s plan, to break up this couple and protect Yuki? But no. Way too early for that I suppose. Marco is just buying her a ring folks. Which is news to him but he seems happy about it.

Yuno can fly folks. She gets stabbed one day and can fly the next!

Yuno is the most amazing person ever. As long as there is a bathroom around she is ready to go! She can get stabbed one episode and be fine the next. Even though I promised to pay more attention to the timeline…I lied. XD So I don’t know how long it has been since Yuno got stabbed…or where she got stabbed but it seems to me she recovered rather fast. Like sneaking out of the building ready to stab people type of okay. Did you see her jump over the pews in the “church”? She recovers quickly. She must take a lot of vitamin C.

Mao, Kousaka, and Hinata say NOOOO to this plan!

I thought it was interesting that Mao, Hinata, and Kousaka were not shown in the episode. Not visiting Yuki or anything. Maybe Hinata and Mao are off in the ACTUALLY injured ward and Kousaka is busy trying to pick up burnt remains of his life. Just thought we see a glimpse of them or a mention of them. You know Yuki they are YOUR FRIENDS. Maybe you should care and talk about them?

It is time to get involved MOM!

I am going to be honest. I had no idea that Daddy had secret motives for visiting his sick son. I was really focusing on why momma wasn’t there. Then I remembered she doesn’t care about her son. Sorry I mean giving her son space. So that is why momma wasn’t there. Someone was kind enough to call Daddy though. Oh you mean 11th sent him? Well okay no one cares about Yuki.

Yay for hospital security!

Minene was weird this episode. Don’t get me wrong I love her (except when she is going to the bathroom in front of people) but her place in this episode felt weird. There aren’t that many Diary Users left. But I guess as some people have commented on (which I really need to answer SLACKER Tenchi!) she is using Yuki just like 7th is. They still need to know who 11th is. If they all knew that I think Yuki would be squished.

I guess even crazy terrorist need a little entertainment.

But she was still acting weird. Siding with dad and giving Yuki know points. Telling Yuki that he needs to make amends with his dad. Although I did like her sitting on Yuki to do push-ups. Guess she watches the Biggest Loser too. Not following Akise’s plan on how doing a few pull-ups or running up a hill would make 7th think they were up to no good. Yuki takes very boring and detailed notes, not Minene is training me for awesome! It would be more like today I put on a gym suit and did pull-ups with my dad yay!

The visit to 8th’s house was a bit boring. Not much happened so we didn’t learn anything about her motives and what not. Me thinks this “arc” will get extended due to how many players are involved. But her head bothers me still. Do the other characters see it?!

And the wife knew nothing? I doubts that.

I found the reason for the divorce odd. Maybe we learn more about it later but it does remind me of Kobato a bit. I think he divorced momma to protect her from the mean man he borrowed money from. But wouldn’t momma be sad about that? I would think we would see some hints of that in the brief moments we have seen her. But maybe she threw herself into work knowing she wanted to help her husband out. Or maybe she knows nothing.

And for this Dad will have to die. Yay for redemption when you didn't even know what you were doing!

I do not think dad knows that Yuki’s phone is connected to his status as a breathing human being. I think his boss told him that Yuki had important information on that phone and if it was destroyed everything would be fine. So while Yuno was…once again correct to protect Yuki I am not ready to throw Daddy down a well just yet. Yuno is sorta of a kill now and keep killing kinda girl though. Questions are for losers.

I am not sure why Ai and Marco were wearing wedding outfits in the tower. It was kinda weird and out of place. Like they saw how cute and weird Yuki and Yuno looked in their outfits so they needed to one up them. I think though Ai was less effective in battle in that outfit.

Where ever Yuki is I don't want to be! XD

So in conclusion Yuki is falling through a hole in a floor, everyone was right to use Yuki as an 11th magnet, and Yuno is amazing at everything. Did I cover everything? Oh and I predict that Yuki’s dad will die to protect Yuki (redemption!!!!) and that will push Yuki isn’t being a stronger person.

Spring 2012 Anime List

Today was kinda of a low key day. One of my many sources of wasted time, an online game, went a bit….wonky today and as a result I couldn’t really play. Woe is me. How dare a game I play for free not work properly! RARW!

So back to cleaning. I should make a list of random and weird items I have found since cleaning. Just so much stuff to throw away.

Also I think I might be moving towards a place of forgiveness in regards to someone near and dear in my life. I am going to try and compose a letter as an olive branch. Trying to turn 2012 around and make it a more positive year!

Trying to get something accomplished today I decided to head on over to the Spring 2012 Anime List to see what looked interesting to me. Of course this is just a tentative list. Everything is subject to change! Especially if I read other people blogging lovely thoughts about other shows.

This time with 90 percent more deaths!

Fate/Zero Season 2

Synopsis via MyAnime List: Fate/Zero takes place 10 years prior to the events of Fate/stay night, detailing the events of the 4th Holy Grail War in Fuyuki City. The War of the Holy Grail is a contest in which seven magi summon seven Heroic Spirits to compete to obtain the power of the "Holy Grail," which grants a miracle. After three inconclusive wars for the elusive Holy Grail, the Fourth War commences.
And…so far no one has died! Well Assassin but he sucked anyway.

Second season of the hit show Fate/Zero.

Air Date: April 2012

I think everyone who watched season 1 will be counting the weeks til season 2. Season one set the ton and the story, gave us background and basic facts. Season two should be filled with mayhem and high body counts yes? And obviously something will go wrong as Fate/Stay Night happens only 10 years later, not 60.

Kore wa Zombie Desu ka?: Jigoku Hen

Synopsis via Wikipedia: Ayumu Aikawa is a zombie resurrected by a necromancer named Eucliwood Hellscythe after being killed by a serial killer. As he tries to make the best of his undead life, he encounters a mahou shoujo named Haruna and inadvertently takes her magic powers, being forced to become a mahou shoujoin the process. With Eucliwood, Haruna, and a vampire ninja named Seraphim living with him, Ayumu helps battle demons known as Megalos while trying to figure out the mystery behind his own death.

I think the first season of this show was pretty funny. Was it a masterpiece? Of course not. But the show didn’t take itself seriously and played up to stereotypes in a funny way. A harem where everyone hates the guy instead. But now that the main baddie is dead how will the story progress?

The prettiest girl in school needs your help! Hurry make a nail gun and kill the zombies!

Accel World

Synopsis via Wikipedia:

In the year 2040, Neuro-synchronization, a technology system that allows humans to manipulate their five senses has become widespread where people can access the internet and enter virtual worlds. Haruyuki "Haru" Arita is a short, fat boy who is constantly bullied, causing him to have a low-self esteem. To escape the torments of real life, he logins in the school's virtual world network where he plays squash alone where he always gets the highest score. One day, Haru attract the attention of the Student Council Vice-President, Kuroyukihime, who offers him to join a secret program called Brain Burst which allows a person to make time appear to stand still in their surroundings by "accelerating" their brainwaves in the real world. Unfortunately, there is a limit to how many times a person can accelerate which uses Brain Burst points and the only way to get more points is to fight other Brain Burst users in a Fighting game and defeat them. However, if a user loses all of his/her points, the Brain Burst program will uninstall itself and the user's memories of Brain Burst will be deleted. Kuroyukihime wants Haru's help as she wishes to reach Level 10 and meet the creator of Brain Burst and learn it's true purpose. But in order to do that, she must defeat six Level 9 users who just so happen to be "The Six Kings of Pure Color", the leaders of the six most powerful factions in the Brain Burst world. For helping him, Haru agrees to help Kuroyukihime to not only repay her but overcome his weaknesses.

Longest synopsis ever! The MyAnimeList has a shorter one but it wasn’t as detailed (obviously) as this one.

We don’t often get main characters whom aren’t…well super model looking. Even the heroines that are supposedly unlucky with guys are still rather attractive. So to have a short nerdy looking guy as the hero will be a nice change of pace. The plot does seem a little complicated. So many rules. Maybe the way they are introduced over time will make more sense. I am not sure how accelerating your own time would be a positive thing but maybe that will be explained too. I just hope the show isn’t full of fat and short jokes. But a show about how people can look different and still be heroes will be nice. Building self-confidence and making new friends is always good, especially when there is a virtual reality game where anything is possible!

So many video games that I have never heard of or played!

Shining Hearts

One day, a mysterious girl named Kaguya was washed ashore the island of Wyndaria after a great storm. She encounters Rick, a swordsman who wound up working at the island's bakery. Apparently, Kaguya is suffering from having lost her memories and emotions. In addition, the usually peaceful Wyndaria is now swarming with pirates who came seeking for the special spirit stone that is worn around Kaguya's neck. Knowing the situation, Rick and his co-workers, Nellis, Amyl, and Aerie decided to bring back peace to island and help Kaguya regain her lost memories and emotions.

Air Date: April 2012

I am going to be honest here. I picked this show because….3 shows seemed like such a low number. I felt as if I needed to add another show to my line-up. This sorta reminded me of Tales of the Abyss. I do like Final Fantasy like games. But sometimes they don’t translate well into animes.

So this is a MAYBE anime. Maybe a swordsman who works at a bakery has an interesting back story. Maybe someone who is being chased by pirates will be someone fun to watch. Maybe I like shows where people have amnesia and turn out to be loser vampire wannabees who sing songs about flowers and gumdrops. We shall see folks.

This is my list for now. Things might change once I learn more about these series. It is only January after all. XD Pretty early for this post right? I am EARLY for once? Let me write this down!

Shakugan no Shana Season Three episode 16

Why hello folks. Home from another WONDERFUL day at work. Oh so wonderful indeed. Are all jobs like this out there and everyone else is better at pretending that things are okay? Just bleh folks. No matter what I do it is never enough. The people making the problems and mistakes aren’t to blame but me, the one reacting to said problems and mistakes. And it gets very frustrating over time.

Now my only amusement is watching my cat stare in horror over a balloon. I thought cats loved balloons but apparently not this one. She lives in fear of the deflating object in the corner.

Well it's not like you just lost a major battle or anything....

Speaking of frustrating…time for Shakugan no Shana episode 16! Spoilers for riding in first class!

This episode was SO BORING. I don’t even think I can write up an episode summary that is how boring it is. Sorry folks. I liked season 1 and thought season 2 was okay. But this season has dragged on forever. Almost like they could have made it 13 episodes instead of 26 long and painful ones.

The bulk of this episode was dedicated to the main cast discussing what they are going to do in regards to GRAND ORDER. I say main cast when two people WHO JUST SHOWED UP are getting just as much screen time as Wilhelmina and Margery. Seriously who are these two people?!

I get that. What I don't get is why you and the main cast are so close when WE the viewers just met you.

Okay I had to look up their names. Sale and Chiara. Apparently they are important. I don’t know. Sale apparently is a fake Flame Haze but giving us more details might cause interest in the show and we can’t be having that. I just find it funny that last episode everyone was riding Chiara’s giant bird thingy and now they are all in the airport. Also is the first time everyone else met these people? Obviously not since no one did the introduction thing. So everyone knows each other and telling the viewers what is going on is lame. Lame.

Which was....yesterday?

But for everyone else…it was a snooze fest. I thought they already decided they wanted to do. Being that they were the conscious ones and all. They were fleeing the fight and listening to Centerhill talking about protecting the new world. I ASSUMED that they all agreed to carry on the fight while in the midst of fleeing. That is what is sounded like to me.

Who the hell made her leader?!

Morale is overrated!

But in this episode Granny Panties decided to plant seeds of doubt in their minds. Do you really want to do this? Can you win? Because we already lost 80 percent of our troops. Dear lord did they really lose that many? They were popping up out of the snow like daises so I guess it is possible. Still why did Granny Panties have to talk people out of something they already agreed too? Was she basically trying to tell them WELP not our problem so why bother dying? Gosh I hate her.

Oh and that was the reason why everyone was so sad last week. Because if the Baddies leave Earth Flame Hazes won’t be able to seek their revenge. :( So sad right?

But Granny Panties getting yelled at might be amusing. It was downright embarrassing what happened in battle, with her not really fighting and all. Given her WE CAN DO IT speech this week…yeah they need a new leader.

Yes we know this. Now...what is the plan?

By the way…what exactly is Shana’s plan? This sorta goes hand and hand with I thought everyone agreed to keep on fighting the baddies. So basically everyone listened to Centerhill , agreed to help protect/stop the new world, and Shana will lead the charge since Centerhill “died”. So…what exactly was Shana’s plan? I guess I didn’t hear it. Really my post is starting to sound redundant because that is how the last few episodes have felt. Shana thought long and hard in the car ride to the airport to make a decision/plan she already made? Oh okay.

So….the few interesting…or vaguely not boring parts of this episode. Yuji’s parents are all being romantic. It is a bit sad to see that they don’t remember Yuji at all and are only focusing on the new baby. Maybe a happy ending will result in Yuji returning to his family?

So many people in one body! Poor Yuji :(

Pheles was up and around and being mysterious this episode. I can say for certain but it looked like she was being sneaky at the end of the episode, with what appears to be three defected baddies. In any event she was talking to her dead boyfriend at the beginning of the episode. Well at least his spirit. Sounds like she is going to do something she will regret but it will fulfill his wishes. Could it be she will destroy the Reijo Maigo? That will destroy Johann but protect everyone from YujiSnake. But why does it appear she is looking for someone else? Maybe former baddies she is friends with that will help her with her mission?

They need to leave us alone, don't they know we are retired?!

And that is the last interesting part of the show. The random…people at the farm. Apparently they have been summoned to fight in this war but they seem to want to live their lives in peace and be farmers. I see. Drink on that lemonade.

Will you plan still work if everyone is rendered blind?

In any event…BORING. So sleepy from watching this episode. Please pick up the pace and make this show interesting to watch again. I am not sure where the magic went but I am feeling a little disappointed here.

Guilty Crown episode 14: No New Homework! New Lockers for all!

I think I have the laziest cat in the world. Well I did before but I always thought Kira was more active than Kiki. But she has proven me wrong. In my quest to throw away everything in my house I found a cat toy she used as a kitten. So I placed some cat treats in the opening at the top, somewhere she could reach when she was little. You know to bring back memories and maybe make her happy.

She is crying right now because she can’t get the treats out. I am the worse momma ever.

Inori might have anger issues.

While I ignore the sounds of lazy cat let’s blog some anime! Up now is Guilty Crown episode 14. Spoilers for people reacting stupid to life and death situations.

Well at least he acknowledges the truth....

Episode Summary: Arise is trying to hold a student meeting and convince the students everything will be okay. Some students believe her, some cry, and others demand she hand out guns and storm AntiBodies. While some people demand Arise go and inspect the wall herself the rest of the student council watches….from the student council room with Shu thinking about what Gai would do. Since there are no trench coats in sight we will never know. Eventually a few of the students decide that Arise sucks as leader and they will overthrow her. While the other main characters try to stick together and hand out vaccines Tsugumi thinks that trashing Arise’s leading abilities will solve everything. She stomps out when people do not agree with her. Elsewhere a few of the boys have decided they will overthrow Arise no matter what because they have a gun! Inori gives Tsugumi a little pep talks. This makes her put a smile on her face and hand Shu a Void Measuring Pen. Seriously it scans people and rates how strong their Void is. Everyone decides to hold down Tsugumi so they can see her Void. Mr. President Shuuichirou (who…I guess is not dead) is talking to Segai with how they are going to proceed from now on. A brief message is played at the edge of the wall telling the trapped residents to move back as they are decreasing the infected zone. They proceed to kill everyone on sight and THEN push back the wall. Even Daryl thinks that was unnecessary. Segai might not be down with this either but the viewer is probably more interested in Shu’s momma hoppin in a mecha.

So if you are not dead...what happened to you?

Some of Funeral Parlor has gone to Akise’s grandfather to plan a rescue mission. Sounds like a plan. Elsewhere the internets have partially been restored inside the zone. The mean message board is filled with lies that if Funeral Parlor members are brought to the wall the person bringing them will be released. Yahiro, the only serious person left in the school, informs Shu of this. Inori, Ayase, and Tsugumi are in danger as Gai made them all get tattoos that said Hey! We are Funeral Parlor. Inori is okay as she…takes care of her attackers. Ayase and Tsugumi are taken hostage and Arise is unable to reason with the kidnappers. Just as the boys are about to strip them Shu is like I GOT THIS! He then explains to everyone that he is a member of Funeral Parlor. He says he will show them the truth. He uses Tsugumi’s Void (which creates clones dolls of someone scanned…) to show what would happen if anyone turned a Funeral Parlor member in. The result is everyone is killed. With this knowledge Shu begs everyone to calm down so they can think of a plan. Yahiro shouts that Shu should be president and everyone agrees with him! But things quickly turn sour when First Lady Yahiro decides to rank everyone by their Void, something that upsets President Shu. THE END!

What the hell am I watching? Like seriously folks this show is giving me a headache.

Yeah. Things might get better folks. Maybe. And maybe it will rain cotton candy today too!

First off….are people really questioning what is going on? There is a HUGE wall around that section of the city. They saw news reports that declared them all dead or too cancerous to save. Cancerous folks. That is medical term for sparkle crystals. And no one from the government has come to rescue them or give them supplies. I am pretty sure that means NO ONE IS COMING! So why is that still up for debate?!

Maybe had Arise been more realistic and honest about the truth people might have trusted her more. But that is just a maybe.

WHERE ARE ALL THE ADULTS?!

Also I don’t care. And do you know why? Because Arise is 17. WHAT THE HELL DOES SHE KNOW ABOUT THIS?! Any of this?! With the exception of the Funeral Parlor students none of those morons know anything about leading a group of people in a life or death situation. I suspect they might know a lot about nail polish, idols, and ice cream but not strategies and surviving in a “war zone”. So while Arise might have no answers or the wrong answers she wasn’t elected to lead you guys to the promise land. She was elected to help get you cool class trips and make sure people weren’t getting bullied.

Okay maybe was the biggest WTF moment of the show. Like the enemy just DROPPED a pen that ONLY Shu could use? Yes I believe this.

I think that was my biggest WTF with this episode. Arise is just a normal student. Because obviously all the damn teachers made it home before Lost Christmas Part Two thus no one is around to protect the kids. But anyway Arise was probably elected because she was smart, rich, and pretty. Not because she could shoot a gun or demand answers from government officials. I get that something horrible and terrible is happening and that in situations one turns to people in important positions for answers. But she is a STUDENT COUNCIL PRESIDENT! To get all evil and hostile from someone who is a “kid” like you is insane. What was she supposed to do?!

And really folks. I am not sure about the rest of the quarantined area but the school was receiving supplies. Not from the government but from Arise’s people. So maybe it would be in your best interest to not bite the hand that feeds you. Especially when it is the only food you are getting for a while. I know desperate people do desperate things but maybe if these kind people are giving you supplies just MAYBE they are also trying to rescue you too. So sit back and relax.

Well don’t relax near the edges of the wall. That would be a bad idea. I am not sure WHAT AntiBodies Crazy Faces are thinking. Like why are they pushing the wall back and making the area smaller? Wouldn’t it be easier and more cost effective to just gas the people who don’t exist? They die, you clean up the bodies, and you still have all the buildings! That seems much easier than pushing back the strongest wall ever and breaking everything.

Speaking of which…is there a reason why Anti Sense killed everyone near the edge? Like here is a warning but it is too late for you to run away? What was the point then?! What was the point of letting anyone live if you were just going to blast away survivors? To scare the others?! I have no idea what the point of that was. Just to be stupid and cruel. But mainly stupid.

This does not please Daryl.

Daryl is weird. Like really weird. I am pretty sure he was running around killing people for touching him but a candy apple from Tsugumi was acceptable. Now he is all conflicted on what to do. Does he fall for the cat ear wearing freak or follow the hopes and dreams of his father and murder everyone in his way.

Did I see Shu’s momma operating a mecha? I think I did. I smell a rescue. Whether or not it works is another question for another post.

So back to the school drama. I am very impressed with the fact the students can use google but can’t communicate with the outside world. Of course the AntiSense are just trying to feed them stupid information and it works. I guess what I am most impressed with is that AntiSense knowing that all the Funeral Parlor people had tattoos on their backs. I know they captured one (apparently nonimportant person because where is he NOW?!) Funeral Parlorer a while back but have they kidnapped others before? If so…well Gai was just stupid. HEHE folks in a society where people already hate tattoos let’s give each other ones out of friendship! WOOHOO!

No more candy apples for you then!

Tsugumi was being a jerk this episode. She doesn’t know Arisa that well but really. The girl is trying to keep it together. And I didn’t see Tsugumi giving any awesome ideas on what to do with the situation. Just like OH you suck and she walks away. That is really helping. Go cry with your lonely tears somewhere else.

Let me go run and protect Inori, the strongest person on my team!

I thought Shu standing up for the girls was….okay. Just okay. Maybe if he had sprung to action sooner I would be more impressed. But Ayase nearly had her shirt ripped off. And while she is a capable girl she is still in a wheelchair. A girl in a wheelchair was getting picked on and it took quite a while for Shu to stand up for them.

.....This happened....yesterday...somehow I think this might be an oversight with the writers.

And why? Everyone in the whole school saw him and his mighty power. Actually…after seeing what Ayase did in the last episode was pretty amazing. So why weren’t people scared of her? This makes no sense. Just threaten them a little and they will fall in line!

Ah yes Tsugumi's true self is really a lonely, clone doll with a magical girl fetish.

Or…Shu used Tsugumi’s stupid void (like seriously….this is the most useful Void ever….way too powerful) to show everyone the truth about the government. And through that truth he protected his girls, got people to calm down, and was elected leader of a bunch of crazy teenagers who were willingly to kill everyone else in the room to survive.

Yes. I want to be King of these people.

Can you make up your mind if you are emo or not?

Next week it looks like Yahiro’s heroism will be short lived. Which…I am not understanding. Why else did they find the magical Void Sensing Stick if they weren’t going to use it to measure power. Now maybe if Rank 1 Voids are treated poorly by Rank 4’s I can see that being unfair. But protecting the powerful and giving appropriate tasks to certain rank people sounds okay to me. Who knows what will happen though. Ranking people is probably a bad idea because they aren’t soldiers but stupid teenagers. Poor Shu.

Shu needs to be sneakier if he is going to be Gai Junior.

What are you talking about Tenchi? It is the middle of January silly girl. Way too late for Christmas presents.

Well take that up with the husband. XD He claims he ordered my present the first week of December but something happened and it didn't arrive until last week. XD Well as long as it is wrapped and purchased with love that is all that matters to me.

Oh snap they ran away! Come back I just got you!

But arriving in my mailbox last week was this lovely. You will have to excuse the lack of prepackage pictures as my excitement got the better of me. XD Rejoice for the new arrivals from the Nendoroid Petite: Fate/stay night Extension Set series!

Pictures are finally fixed. Time for bed.

Behold the back of the box.

Let's start with the ugliest one first. I showed my mom this figurine and she was like EW gross. She questioned why I even bought this. Mom it came in a set silly.

But yes. This is Berserker. The Class that makes no sense. If they always turn on their Masters why both having them in the war? Just to cause problems? Apparently he was Hercules in his past life...can't you tell? Kinda weird someone so little and cute (Illyasviel) has such an...interesting Servant.

Berserker took up most of the box. Like 4 of the figurines took up one side of the box and he was on the other end. No one wants to play with him! But can you see why? Berserker comes with his humongous sword. But if you are in the mood for squishing people he comes with a hand that can hold people. Perfect for terrorizing other nendoroids.

Moving on to someone who is less scary is Caster. I don't remember much of her in the Fate/Stay Night series but I think we all can agree she is better than the Caster in Fate/Zero. She was Medea in her previous life. X__X That chick had a hard life.

Behold the nifty staff! Perfect for poking kittens with.

Caster comes with an extra piece. A little hood so she can hide in the darkness. Now out of all the nendoroids I own I think the hood piece might be the cheapest one I have. Or maybe I should say different. Very different. It a light plastic. So light and thin I thought I was going to break it. So while it looks close on it just feels different than all the other pieces I have.

Up next is Lancer. I love how this series has some well known historical figures and then some that are....well forgettable. In any event this is Cúchulainn. Yeah....how about we just look at his cuteness instead?

Lancer is almost too skinny. Like you turn him sidewise and where did he go?!

WEEE! Time for Archer. I am sure we all know who he really is.

Archer comes with several little weapons he can stab people with. And that is all that is important right? Stabbing people.

I accidentally gave her weapon to Archer. Since I am unfamiliar with the games I didn't know her weapon got so dark and edgy looking.

Another episode 3: Let's hate the rain together!

WE SEE EVERYTHING!

I am a very hungry Tenchi who needs to search for food. So let’s just hope into this anime post shall we? XD Up now is Another episode 3. Spoilers for rainy days and creepy dolls!

Episode Summary: Mei shows Kouichi what is under her eye patch. A fake green eye that she claims is a doll eye and can see weird things. After saying some really creepy things about the dolls, how they are empty and wish to be filled Mei suggests going upstairs where it is safer. Kouichi gets a little worried because Shop Granny said HE was the only customer in the store (which can probably be explained away that Mei lives there) but sits down and asks Mei about why people are so secretive. She tells Kouichi the story of how 23 years ago in Class 3 a young popular girl died…in some way. Students pretended that she was alive after her death and in the graduation picture the dead girl shows up. Mei says that everyone must be hiding the second part of the story from him. But Kouichi’s grandmother calls right at that second to summon Kouichi home and Mei disappears. At school the “main” cast talks to Kouichi about their graduation plans and how they have been close since childhood while the other classmates look at Kouichi like he is a dog turd. Yukari in particular seems eager to get out of this town and go to Tokyo. Overall the students seem down when talking about their futures. After school it rains so Yukari offers to share her umbrella with Kouichi. She lets a little information slip, that their school goes on class trips in year 2, not year 3. Kouichi decides that is a perfect time to ask about Misaki and Yukari begs him not to say that name. Teshigawara comes by and is informed that Kouichi knows some of the legend. He brushes it off as being nonsense but then tells their art teacher in front of Kouichi so there is not much hiding going on there….

Well ya'll keep glaring at the girl who DOESN'T exist!

At home Kouichi asks his Aunt what class his mom was in. She avoids the question as well as what happened with the Class 3 so many years ago. Eventually she says her sister was in Class 3 but tells Kouichi to not meddle. But meddle is what Kouichi does as he continues to chase after Mei. Teshigawara eventually tells Kouichi if he just waits one month he will tell him anything he wants to know. There is also a scene with the nurse confirming a person named Misaki did die recently. Regardless Kouichi walks out of an exam when he sees Mei in the hallway. She confesses the person who died recently was her cousin and she felt very close to her. She also reveals that the reason everyone treats her weird is that she doesn’t exist, that no one else can see her. While Kouichi’s mind tries to process that information Yukari gets some information that causes her to leave class suddenly. When she sees Mei in the hallway she flips out and falls down the stairs. Her umbrella flies open and she is impaled in the throat. She flails about for a while Kouichi slowly loses his mind. THE END!

This episode was a bit slow. Like slowly we are working towards answers. Then BAM the last minute was a whammy. Sorta reminds you of another anime right?

Mei doesn’t have a big hole in her head. Woe is me. Just kidding. She has a fake glass eye that is a different color than her real one. So she can be edgy. And the eye patch is to keep her fake eye from seeing weird things. I SEE FOLKS.

Me thinks the shop will be burnt to the ground before the series ends.

This goes along with what Mei says about the dolls in the shop. How they are empty vessels that just want to be filled. HMMM wonder why there are so many deaths in this town? Maybe Masaki wants an army full of living dolls. Wonder where their souls end up. So when Mei was talking about her fake eye and the doll looking like her….seems to me that her eye can see things she doesn’t want to because it is an doll eye. She is part human part doll and people fear her. Like they don’t want to become the dolls but aren’t strong like Mei to fight their fate.

I think the manner of death is super important there Creepy-Chan!

Mei’s story took quite a bit of time in our short episode. Of course it was necessary to tell Kouichi all of this but to the viewers it was a bit of a waste. Because Kouichi (or someone who sounds just like him) told us in episode 1 all of this lovely stuff. Misaki was a popular student, died, and her classmates carried on like she was still alive. Very important for Kouichi to know and for us to see his reaction. It just made the episode feel shorter since we already knew.

Yes. Now tell us the rest of the story NOW!

But there were a few interesting things that took place in this conversation. One Mei told the story the exact same way Kouichi did in episode 1. The whole Misaki was popular and what not. Now maybe she is telling the “safe” version when in reality she knows the truth but there was not much smirking going on. More like she implied there was stuff AFTER that main story that Kouichi did not know. Which would surprise me. I was thinking there was some resentment towards that girl. But since Mei was vague on how Misaki died maybe there is still hope. The other interesting points were of course Mei saying that there was more to the story and how she told the story. Like there was no real emotion in her voice.

We are so creepy!!!!! WEEE look at us stare.

Life is still creepy at school. It is subtle but when the “main” cast is talking to Kouichi the other kids are shooting him death glares. Now since there are people who are willing to talk to Kouichi I am not thinking he is the problem. So why is the rest of the class so worried? Because he has talked to Mei and ruined what they are trying to do? But it is hard to be resentful of someone who doesn’t know the rules. So what is with all the glares?

Is today like the 27th? Because then I could understand. But if it was the 3rd I be like PSHT whatever dude.

The students that are talking to Kouichi aren’t being very helpful. Teshigawara in particular. Like look dude something weird IS going on but we will tell you next month. Now if someone told me that I would be hunting down answers right then and there. It is a miracle I am not opening all the presents and rewrapping them before Christmas. But yes if someone told me that it would be over folks. Red flag all over the place.

Getting answers from these fools is like pulling teeth.

Auntie Reiko is also suspicious. Which concerns me. These kids might be concerned for their own well-being but what does Reiko have to worry about? Oh yeah dead sister. Well since she has already lost her sister shouldn’t she be giving her nephew the heads up? Trying to give him a fighting chance and all? She just seemed ready to brush everything under the rug. When the time is right? Well umbrellas of the world are rebelling so I think the time is right now. Thanks Aunt, you want me to die or something?

And you couldn't say that before because....?

Right before the WTF moment Mei and Kouichi were having an interesting conversation. You know when he randomly walked out of the room during an exam. It is possible he finished early (like he said Mei did) but the fact that everyone looked at him when he left makes me think that is not the case. Like he saw Mei and went into the hallway to talk to her. And the teacher doesn’t care enough to stop him. Because getting involved would be silly.

If I was being ignored I wouldn't go to school. Unless Mei is under the curse too.

Putting that aside Kouichi actually started asking some questions. I like that he hasn’t been totally in a fog in this show. Only when he has to look at Mei does he seem to lose all reason HMMMMM! But he asked why no one really notices Mei. Several students told Kouichi to not bother with things that do not exist. That is all crazy right? Nope. Mei says that she does not exist. In such a way that she was talking about what she was eating for lunch. I am taking that statement with a grain of salt though. Clearly the students are seeing SOMETHING. They have looked up at Mei and made faces before. And obviously Yukari saw Mei before she ran down the stairs. So Mei does exist. To what extent remains unseen.

So if Mei doesn't exist was she freaking out over Kouichi? Does he look weird when he is around Mei?

I see several people thinking that Mei is the bringer of death. That if you see her you are cursed to die soon. Others say that the class is trying to recreate the class from 23 years ago. I think that might be possible. Declaring that a living girl is dead and ignoring her to somehow taken down the dead girl haunting the class. Also I am not sure we can blame Mei for these accidents. We don’t know how the other classmates have gotten hurt or sick but as it was said in episode 1 this class is closer to death. Like a normal person would walk into a wall and be okay. A Class 3 student would walk into a wall and the screw would come loose and they step on the screw and fall into a glass window. That kinda thing. The mere presence of Mei might also scare some students into creating more accidents that might not otherwise exist.

I told you rain was evil!

So on to the WTF part of the episode. Yukari fell down the stairs. She did have a mini freak out when she saw Mei but upon viewing the episode again she didn’t appear to be running frantically. Just that she slipped by accident. So it is unclear if Mei’s presence really had any effect on Yukari’s death or if it truly was an accident.

It was so realistic it was creepy! XD

But what an accident it was folks! It was not censored at all. We got a flailing dying girl on the ground with an umbrella. People are calling this Final Destination for some reason. Well since we didn’t get 283928 fake outs beforehand I am going to say no. Just a very VERY random accident because Class 3 is close to death. Me thinks that someone is not going to Tokyo now.

Now that things just got real I am thinking that Kouichi is going to question people on what the heck is going on. Obviously after a certain month things become safe. So….I expect this series to be wrapped up before that month. XD Yay for body counts.

Important things I noted:

The bird feathers in the still after the opening song. That bird IS saying the wrong name.

Mom was from Class 3 but lived long enough to have Kouichi. So the curse follows you even if you flee (despite the students thinking otherwise).

Family members might be compelled to send their kids to Class 3 to satisfied the grudge. Like Dad tried to leave this town but was forced to bring Kouichi back and Auntie can't help at all.

Mirai Nikki episode 15

I think I work on a soap opera set. Which is bad for two reasons. One being that soap operas are slowly but surely being phased out of society. But I am questioning the casting judge if this is the case. Either I am one of the few normal people on this show and that is a mistake or hiring a lot of stupid people is a mistake. I feel as if small issues I do are blown up to epic proportions while major issues other people do are brushed under the rug. Thus a soap opera right?

Meanwhile protect throw everything away in my house is underway thus my post is late. I feel so accomplished. And I think my husband is getting so decent exercise from hauling all this crap to the compactor. XD

Am I huge giant spoiler?!

But now it is anime time. Up now is Mirai Nikki episode 15. Spoilers for….Yuno ruining things? XO

Does anyone in this show see her big head?

Episode Summary: Yuki is hiding under the covers wishing his life was over. Dues sends everyone a message updating them on the cheating status of 8th. It is implied that a meeting will take place to talk about this rule bending but one never takes place. Or maybe Yuki wasn’t invited. Either way Yuki takes his concerns to Akise. They call a group meeting together with Kousaka, Mao, and Hinata. They demonstrate with Kousaka’s phone that the Apprentices are not really Diary Users and that they really are gathering intel for 8th with her sharing information with them. To combat this they are going to hid Yuki somewhere and draw out the fakes. Akise is like this will be hard because of Yuno and Yuki thinks back to the slap heart round the world. To prove how insane she really is Yuno helps Momma Yuki make dinner and leaves before Yuki notices. Yuki is so scared out of his mind he doesn’t question why his mom hates him and cares nothing about why he got arrested. Trying to put that behind him Yuki vows not to depend on Yuno anymore. He depends on everyone else instead.

Akise’s plan is as follows: Take Yuki to Kousaka’s house because he is rich bitch! Force the apprentice Diary Users to chase after Yuki. Then throw a switch that will turn off the nearby cell tower which will cut off their real connection to 8th. This all sounds like an amazing plan…except Yuno is insane and cuts the power to the house. Everyone is like MOG CRAZY LADY! But instead of letting Yuno stay on the lawn and kill the attacks Yuki orders her to come upstairs so he can tie her up. Kousaka and Akise run to turn the power on manually while the others plus Random Cop dude try and fed off two of the three apprentice diaries owners that have broken in. Random Cop is taken out by Marco and his Counter Diary while Ai tracks down Yuki with her…Flirt Diary. Mao and Hinata are hit by knives in this escape leaving Yuno and Yuki to run to the attic. Ai and Marco find the two and are ready to attack when Akise turns off the phone tower making their apprentice diaries useless. They go OH NO…then pull out their real Diaries. They are actually 7th and their Diaries protect each other.

Yuki should have ran away when this all went down.

Yuki is like oh crap and decides to let Yuno go. Yuno gets a compliment and works quickly to overpower them. Ai runs out of knives to the couple flees. They take Mao and Hinata with them either because they don’t want to involve innocent people (after they stabbed them) or because they wanted the knives in their bodies. Either way the house catches on fire due to 7th’s planning. They go back inside to kick some butt. Yuno is leading Yuki out of the house and gives him permission to use her and lie to her again because she loves him. Ai and Yuno have a show down but Marco protects Ai from a deadly blow. Yuno is then injured and Marco screams at Yuki for being a loser boyfriend. Yuki admits he is a spineless jellyfish and Marco throws him down the stairs. Yuki wakes up in the hospital with Yuno, Hinata, and Mao injured and both of their Diaries stolen. YAY FOR FUN! But wait Minene shows up in the hospital and demands answers out of Yuki. The end!

A lot of the chatter for this episode seems to be about the opening and closing theme songs. Sure people are talking about the plot but it kinda floors me how much they are talking about the songs.

This is the laugh of a winner! Or crazy person. Either way SUCK IT BITCHES!

So I will too!!!! XD Before I went on the internets to read other people’s opinions I was all set to talk about the ending song which I thought might be spoilerish. Well according to the manga readers the real spoilers are in the opening. X__X I did notice how almost everyone was blue and Yuki, Yuno, and Minene are grey. Hmmm spoilers for survivors? Most people were complaining about the reused scenes of the Yuno’s fighting each other and Yuki rescuing her. I thought maybe those scenes were so important they had to be included again? But I did like the SONG better with the first opening.

In the closing I thought that was telling us the viewers what was really going on. In the opening we saw a Post Apocalypse Yuno looking all sad and crap. In the ending a slightly younger looking Yuno is walking around some wasteland all alone. HMMM where have we seen that before? Oh yes Homura in Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica. And what did Homura do when things got bad? Go back in time and attempt to fix them (2329834 times). But while Homura went back in time and ended up in her same body MAYBE Yuno went back in time….and killed her old self to take over her life. Thus explaining the two Yunos in the opening and the extra body in the grave. Older Yuno came back and surprised the family so everyone had to die! YAY FOR YUKI! This could also explain Dues falling apart, as Yuno has destroyed the space time continuum with her jump back in time. It would also explain the very beginning of episode with overdose Yuki. He killed himself in a previous timeline which allowed Yuno to live but she didn’t take her God duties well as the world went to waste. And heck folks that would really explain why Yuno is in love with him.

But I am still holding out hope that Yuno really is insane and these are all her personalities like in Identity. And that in the end Minene is the one who lives.

Are you having tomato flashbacks?

Putting aside the opening and closing….Yuki might have a brain folks. He was actually trying to stay away from Yuno. Maybe he should have told his momma that they…”broke up” but you know. Actually now that I think about it….did Yuki eat that dinner? Because if he did I take it all back. You just got drugged so you should not be eating food prepared by the insane one.

Yes how uncomfortable it must be to actually do some parenting. Woe is you.

The mom is stupid though. She is going to wait for her son to come to her with is problems? That is what you say when someone had a rough day at school NOT WHEN THEY ARE ARRESTED BY THE POLICE! When people DIED! Like okay you want to win the cool mom award. Is there a reason why Yuki doesn’t live with his dad? Is he even worse than the mother?

You should have stuck with your first thought Kousaka. Might have gotten beat up but you still have a house.

Despite the fact that being around Yuki puts them all in danger everyone loves Yuki YAY! Well Akise might really love him. But Hinata, Mao, and Kousaka…why aren’t you running for the hills? Hinata wants redemption and Mao is along for the ride? If someone threw my ALMOST Diary against the ground I would be out of there. Using me as a test. HATERS! But I guess this makes Yuki’s tiny heart happy and proves Yuno wrong. It will be all the more delicious for Yuno when she drinks Yuki’s tears over the deaths of his friends.

The only iPhone in the show (or in any animes....) and it is viciously murdered. :(

Now walk with me folks. Akise’s plan (had he been corrected) sounded like a good one. Several Diary Users questioned why the heck was up with 8th? Since Yuno can read I would assume she was up to speed on there being…fake Diary Users. So to me she should not have known that Marco and Ai were really number 7. So….why did she cut the power in the house? Even if she DID know who they really were it would expose them quicker and give everyone the information they needed to proceed. So why did she do it? Or should I bother asking? INSANE! Let’s just mess up a plan because you’re INSANE. No one can protect Yuki because she is INSANE.

So back to the couple. Not sure I am really feeling them. Randomly taking off your clothes and making out so…intensely is not my cup of tea. But since they didn’t take a dump on Yuki or pee in the corner I am thankful. They are pretty flashy and over the top. I think they might be stupid though. There were several times where they just waited to attack. Like while Yuki is weighing his options of releasing the insane one they could have attacked. Let’s just take our time and wait for Yuno to have a weapon before we attack. WOOHOO!

She has to say that with her clothes off of course.

When Ai and Marco revealed themselves to be number 7 in made more sense in my head. I guess maybe the hair threw me off but when he combed it back to stupidness I was like OH you are the ones holding each other in the original ending. It is not clear if 8th knew they were 7th but I guess we will find that out over time.

Well that is a bitch harsh. Yuki has been through quite a bit. Did you see the pee cup?! I wouldn't rescue her either.

I am not sure how I feel about Marco manhandling Yuki. On one hand I would want my boyfriend/husband protecting me at all costs. It just seems like the natural thing to do. But on the other hand Yuki was just being honest. And Yuno is an insane killing machine. She took out SWAT team members okay. I am not sure how much protecting she needs or if she even wants Yuki to do so. And does Yuki really have a reason to protect the insane one? He didn’t have the option of making a mutual diary with Yuno (making Ai and Marco a great protecting machine) and Yuno pretty much is the last and first person I would want protecting me. So while Yuki probably should man up and do a little more to help himself and “partner” out I can see how he didn’t choose this game and protecting someone who just kidnapped him.

Turns out Yuki can't fly. Surprising.

In the end everything was pretty much fail. Not sure WHY Yuno and Yuki are still alive. Shouldn’t 7th have broken their phones? But seeing how 8th love all the children of the world maybe she can’t bear to hurt them and is trying to find a way to get them out of this game. If not…well that was a stupid move. I wonder if the team is going to follow Yuki now. Kousaka is homeless and Mao and Hinata are left bleeding in the hospital. XD My vote is yes since they were blued out in the opening. But Yuki praised Yuno so everything is okay folks!! XD

Shakugan no Shana Season Three episode 15

Have you ever met a pack rack? Well if not you sure read one’s blog. DEAR LORD PEOPLE. I decided to get into the New Year, New Attitude spirit and clean the main closet. Oh my lord folks. Oh my lord. I had notes from JUNIOR HIGH in my closet. Birthday cards from my 15th birthday. First generation Beanie Babies. Every diary I have ever written ever. X__X Needless to say a great deal of junk has gone into the donate or trash pile. Dear lord folks X__X what is wrong with me?

So that has been part of my day. Part productive and part surfing the web. I love looking at other people’s blog in regards to Japan. XD That really helped me when I was planning my own trip. If one wants to be really productive just call up the momma (or one’s equivalent to momma). You guys can chat and with your free hands you can tidy up the house. Accomplishing two things at once yay!

The escape part 15!

But now it is time to blog some anime folks. And watch some trashy reality tv shows. Reality shows help with the blogging process. It would be easier if the government wasn’t running around shutting down sites but I guess I will endure. Okay! Shakugan no Shana episode 15 time! I am sensing this might be a short post….

So all the human like baddies have a beast form? I knew it!

Episode Summary: Somewhere else in the world two Flame Hazes are talking about things are really bad. Morale is down and the dude Flame Haze is pretty much drinking away his problems. But the young girl in the party is like we shall help when needed. Insert Granny Panties calling them to action. Shana’s group and the group Granny Panties “helped” escaped are all taking a break. Apparently a bunch of other Flame Hazes got scared and crazy and ran into the woods. In an effort to rescue the crazy people an elaborate plan must be made at the expense of a few of the Flame Hazes. Mr. God Centerhill agrees to help rescue the lost ones but first there needs to be a conversation. Best case scenario and YujiSnake is telling the truth about not affecting our world things still will not be perfect. The new world will have humans that will be used as energy and the cycle will start over again. With that knowledge Shana agrees to fight so Centerhill says he will aid them. He will use his powers to block the enemy from finding them after the escape and stop them from communicating. Samuel (scar dude) will create a tower so their comrades will have a place to gather while also drawing in the enemies. When the time is right Samuel and Centerhill will sacrifice themselves for the greater good. Everything goes according to plan and this leaves the enemy all crazy and separated. Wilhelmina and Shana serve as a distraction as well so Sydonay comes along and eventually reveals his real form to battle. Centerhill comes to aid them and Margery finally arrives to trap Sydonay for 3 whole minutes. Eventually Centerhill stays behind to fight Sydonay while the others are rescued by the two new Flame Hazes we saw at the beginning of the episode. Samuel is eventually overwhelmed and bids his Crimson Lord goodbye as he takes out the tower, the baddies, and himself. Granny Panties and all the troops have made it to their hideout. The wounded are tended to while everyone else talks about how they lost this battle. YujiSnake overlooks everything

OH LORD FOLKS! The escape part 23646346!

I guess I should hand it to the Flame Hazes. This did seem like a complicated and well thought out of escape plan. Even if it took a million hours for it to happen. We got a diversion that is really the true escape, two people sacrificing themselves for cowards and Margery in the background to be the ultimate secret weapon. I don’t give any credit to Granny Panties though.

How many times do you have to rescue the same people?!

Although I am kinda bummed that two cool and seemingly powerful allies had to die to help out cowards and stupid people. How hard is it to run to the designated spot? Well if you were following Granny Panties you weren’t allowed to run. But the ones who were still trying to make it to Heaven’s Road Place…what is wrong with you? In the midst of your unemployment you forgot which way to run? Crazy people.

And this is all of the battle we see. Unless he didn't die of course.....

But yes folks. We got two deaths on our hands. Not that we saw one of them. Look Centerhill I am actually going to use your name. Feel special. Centerhill was one of the Four Gods of the Earth so I thought maybe he was going to put up more of a fight? It appeared he was taken out quite easily by Sydonay. Maybe he was stretched too thin? He was doing other amazing things like oh PROTECTING everyone else. So maybe that is how he lost his arm..and the fight so easily. Would have liked to see that battle play out but apparently we needed more shots of….I don’t know that two headed baddie.

They seriously said goodbye for like 5 minutes.

Samuel (aka scarred dude) also bit the dust this week. Look at that people die and suddenly I give them names. Now again it seems as if his death was slightly lame. The baddie that did damage to him was pretty weak looking. However he was also busy making sure everyone escaped safely. And if you fight 10,000 baddies it is the same as fighting one mega baddie. Or maybe he was just tired of listening to Granny Panties. Either way he and his Crimson Lord had the longest goodbye in history.

For some reason he/they get on my nerves. -___-

I am not sure what is up with the two headed baddies but he gets on my nerves. Well they are getting on my nerves. Are they on the verge of dying or something? Like every week they look like they are in pain and talk about how they won’t be able to say goodbye. But the counter spell against them was pretty awesome. Can’t hear you in the rain buddy!

Why are we decoys? Oh because everyone else is having a mental meltdown?

Shana and Wilhelmina weren’t that amazing this week. Or maybe I have become numb to all this fighting. But they were good distractions AND lived. So they get double the cookies this week!

Didn't you just wake up crazy?

I like how Margery came out of nowhere and saved the day. I must admit I thought they were hiding the Heaven’s Road Place. But then Margery came out of nowhere and trapped Sydonay for 2 whole minutes! All that sleeping came in handy!

This sounds interesting, tell me more.

Those two Flame Hazes at the beginning of the episode…I wish we knew more about them. But since they are were able to talk and see the light at the end of the tunnel they must be “good” Flame Hazes. Also I thought they were going to pilot the plane to rescue Shana and company. Nope. Gotta ride my awesome bird. The male of the pair seemed interesting though, saying he became a Flame Haze because he had to. Like Mami had to become a Magical Girl I imagine.

I love how everything is so sparky on the Road. Like yes we are underground and hiding in paradise. Well except the people who are dying on the lawn. It looks like their numbers have really decreased though. Which is surprising considering how many of them were running for their lives last week. Which means it is time for the under dogs to win right?

We got to rescue the clones too now? GOSH!

Speaking of which…I am slightly confused about one issue. Mr. Centerhill and Shana were talking about YujiSnake’s Grand Order. If they were to believe him and his best case scenario he would create a new world without affecting this one. However this new world would be EXACTLY like ours now. In my mind I thought that meant shape/energy wise. But apparently it means everything, including the people. So our clones would live on the new planet and be munched by the baddies. I guess I thought he was making a new world where that concept wasn’t going to exist anymore but I guess I was wrong? Or am I?

He put up a good fight....punching and all.

The episode ends with YujiSnake talking about his other body. Apparently it is only 50 percent operational. I see folks. Well…at least they are done retreating right? Now everyone can go to school and look sad and stuff! YAY!!! But at least they are not escaping folks. The day has finally ended. Thank God.

Guilty Crown episode 13

I had a really long and horrible day at work today. Let's just say it is a good thing I can't afford a rocket launcher. I would blow that building up. Just... a lot of anger.

Err....a lot Shu.

So instead of trying to come up with something witty...I guess I will just jump right in to it. Guilty Crown episode 13. Spoilers for assholes!

And so begins the stupid.

Episode Summary: It is another lovely day in Japan. The birds are singing, everyone is having a great day, and the biggest problem around is what do eat for dinner. Or it has been two weeks since Crystal Rocks Part Two. Gai is dead, the entire town has been quarantined, and part of Funeral Parlor has been separated from their allies. But despite being separated from his momma and unable to leave the area Shu seems to think everything will work out. Ayase and Tsugumi are trapped within the quarantine zone and have to pose as students for some reason…and don’t get caught. Ayase is wheeling around feeling bad for herself. She falls out of her wheelchair and gets harassed by some boys. Shu and Tsugumi arrive to her rescue but she brushes them off. The gang leaves Ayase to be sad for NO REASON to have an impromptu student council meeting. Arisa is talking about how her grandfather is flying in provisions and that things will improve soon. Souta is tired of everyone being depressed and things that they should have a cultural festival to lift everyone’s spirits. Segai and one of his creepy followers are holed up somewhere waiting to strike but knowing their positions are weak. Outside the office Yahiro is holding his Void. Shu explains he has a new power now and can let other people hold their Voids. Yahiro is not impressed with everyone wanting to have fun and forget about what just happened. Shu thinks the worse is behind them and he will never have to pull Voids out again.

Heaven forbid you be SAD!

Tsugumi is really getting into the festival spirit and is eager to help. Daryl has snuck into the quarantine zone to hunt down Shu. Instead he is captured by Tsugumi into carrying items for the festival. He is rewarded with a candy apple. Really it is all weird. Hare tries to involve Ayase in the festival but clearly that party pooper has Gai on the brain. Get with the program even Inori is planning a concert! Outside the school a group of men watched all upset about the cultural fair taking place at such a time. Good thing the night before Segai gave them some major weapons! At the festival Tsugumi tries to make Ayase have some fun. Well Ayase reminds everyone that Gai is dead and so are a lot of other people and it is not PARTY TIME. Tsugumi leaves Ayase alone to have more doughnuts. Ayase does try to attend Inori’s concert but her heart is not in it. Shu joins her and they have a talk. Both Shu and Ayase feel that they let Gai die and didn’t do enough to protect him. Before they can hug it out the crazy dudes attack. Shu tries to wheel away Ayase so she causes her chair to flip over. Seeing how strong Ayase is Shu says let’s do this! He takes out Ayase’s void which turns out to be some weird…..skater blades that let Ayase run and fly. Together with Inori’s Void they take down the baddies and everyone is like MOG COOL! They go to watch Inori’s concert when suddenly a random TV station pops up. It is Shuichirou (???!!??!) telling the rest of the Japanese people that the quarantine zone is beyond saving and that everyone has the sparkle cancer. This a huge wall goes up around the area and Shu is like WHAT?! THE END!

What the hell did I just watch?

I mean last week I have no idea what happened. Crystal people, towers of dust, weddings from hell, and Gai died. Obviously. Maybe. Unless Shu gains a new power at random again. Overall WTF material.

But this week I understood what was going on and it was remained WTF. All for bad reasons.

That is true. They could just nuke your butts...

I am not sure if most of the students are aware but a bunch of people just DIED! Like what the hell is wrong with you? DIED! Turned to sparkle dust and instantly poofed into the wind. Or to become the marriage chapel to the insane and crazy. Whatever. Dead folks. As in your neighbors, the guy selling your bread because face it the baker always dies, and the old grandmother down the street. All dead.

And you are sitting here two weeks later having a party. I don’t know how much more disrespectful that can get.

Seems very familiar....

Add in the fact that your asses are currently under “quarantine” (see The Crazies and Resident Evil: Apocalypse to see how those quarantines worked out) and I see no cause for celebration. Not seeing it folks.

So while those random…err….random tough guys went way too far with their ideals yeah. I am siding with their initial thoughts. ASSHOLES!

This was Shu's 5 seconds of emo in the episode.

Maybe I am being too harsh. But the only person I would want to talk to after this episode is Ayase. Granted she was in love with Gai and probably feels the closest to him but damn folks. 2 weeks later and we are eating doughnuts and organizing a little mini concert. Just no. In overall bad taste. I get trying to boost morale and stuff but there has to be a time of mourning. And you know…the whole limited rations and sick people all around you thing. Yeah. How about we be respectful?

Hurry find a creepy kid and Alice!

Speaking of things that are crazy…have you seen the teaser trailer for Resident Evil 12847: X___X? Because it is insane. We got soccer mom Alice and not so dead Rain and I think they are looking at the spaceship from The Thing at one point. We either got some clone action going on (FOR EVERYONE!) or some time travel or really Alice has been asleep this whole time and everything is a bad dream. With flying dragon zombies. Amazing folks.

Well...this part was kinda dumb....

I was really feeling Ayase in this episode. She was going through a horrible lose, separated from most of her people, living in a quarantine zone, unable to “move” via her Gundam Suit, and was surrounded by happy morons. Couldn’t anyone comfort this girl in her time of need? Now granted it has been two weeks since the incident. Maybe everyone was crying and mopey then. Didn’t see it but maybe I can pretend. The point is Ayase was still in the grieving process and it probably hurt her to see everyone going WEEEEE time for fun.

Clearly he is with morons.

Well Yahiro wasn’t really down for fun. But he wasn’t really comforting in her anyway. It is weird how he is has been accepted back into the fold after all the crap he has done. But you know…at least he was trying to be rational about things.

Unlike Shu. Because he is dumb. Sure he sorta explains away his random new powers and is whining a bit about being the one who killed Gai. But other than that he seems to think everything is going to be okay. Okay. Yeah. Gai he isn’t ready to be the next leader of the safety patrol squad at the elementary school down the street. He is not ready to lead Funeral Parlor. Maybe if you had stayed and grew stronger WITH Shu 10 years ago NONE OF THIS WOULD HAVE HAPPENED!

Can I hit him just a little?

So yeah Shu. I am not sure why you thought things were going to get better. Maybe because the “baddie” was dead. Guess you forgot about Eyebrow freak. While some people in the baddie alliance were taken out by the sparkle rocks not all of them are dead. So…yeah Shu. You is crazy.

Daryl acting cute was so traumatic I couldn't take a picture of it. So have a screenie of Shu and Ayase having a moment.

And so is Daryl. You are supposed to be a bad ass and someone hands you a candy apple and all is cute in the world? What is wrong with you? You fail. Fail as a spy. Go to the corner with your cat ears and doughnuts. Freak. Oh and you killed your dad. Maybe you should act a little more insane(r) than usual. Honestly a girl bosses you around for a little bit and you lose sight of the mission.

Santa has arrived!!!

I am not sure what Segai was trying to do. Flush out Shu? But he obviously knew where he was. Maybe show everyone else what Shu could do? Ayase and Shu using powers in front of the other students was probably not the best idea. But did he gain anything from that? Who knows.

Yep. Things are fine Shu. Super fine.

In the end Shu was wrong. Umbrella goes Raccoon City on our heroes and everyone is dead folks. Well declared dead. Mr. Groom from last episode is still kicking (or it is eyebrow dude in disguise) and tells the rest of Japan that everyone is just too cancerous to save. And thus a wall was built around the entire infected city.

X__X So I don’t see this going over well with the survivors on the outside. You know all the parents of those kids and other people who had loved ones in this area. But maybe if you survive two crazy disasters maybe your mind is so blown you are willing to believe everything. You are weak and accept this as fact.

Resident Evil: The Anime.

So I guess I got my answer on what is going to happen for the rest of the series. Or at least the next few episodes. Everyone but Ayase sucks though.

The Changing Face of the America Anime/Manga Industry and Fandom

As I have said in previous posts 2012 has been rough for me and it has barely started. I am trying to be optimistic that things will work out and this string for sadness and bad luck will soon pass. Like all the horrible things are happening all at once and the next 11 months will be awesome.

For the American anime community 2012 has been rough as well. One could argue that 2011 was rough as well. And probably 2010. Let’s face it folks the anime and manga industry had a small community of followers in the 80’s and 90’s then it suddenly exploded in the early 2000’s. Then as quickly as things exploded things…well imploded.

Look I even picked a retro anime girl for you! Floppy discs weee!!

What does all of this mean for American anime and manga fans? Changes obviously but good changes or bad ones? Will the days of physical copies of animes/mangas be a thing of the past or will the industry find a way to keep customers interested in DVDS/Blu-rays in this age of digital media? Will fans be able to find their favorite mangas in the book stores or will we only have the internet and scanlators to depend on? Will anime conventions be able to survive with older anime fans growing out of their hobby? Is everyone just being too serious and we should wait to ride this obvious economic problem out? I see a lot of people talking about all these changes so I thought I would give my uneducated two cents on the matter.

Back in my day….well maybe I should state what back in my day was. I believe it was my 15th birthday that my male parental unit got me a Sailor Moon comic for my birthday. That would have been 1998. That is about a million years in internet time. My first anime convention was in 2000. I believe the max amount of anime conventions I attended in one year was three (JaniCon, Megacon, and AFO). I have only cosplayed once in my entire life (as Amiboshi from Fushigi Yuugi) and with my very first paycheck from my first job I bought a camera so I could take pictures at anime convention.

When I was first introduced to the anime/manga scene things were relatively expensive, especially for someone who didn’t have a job. VHS tapes (you know those huge and often easily destroyed things on a VCR?) cost about 25 dollars for about 3 episodes. Now DVDs were just starting to be popular but there were barely any anime titles on DVDs. And even though I bought them I felt as if they were a rip off as the average price of a DVD at the time (for basic stuff) was also 25 dollars. But DVD players were super expensive. I even joined in on a petition to make Ayashi no Ceres available on VHS when it came out only on DVD. So when that failed….yeah I finally caved in and bought a DVD player.

My main source of anime and manga was the store SunCoast. It was mainly a movie store but slowly it had a huge manga and anime section. And by slowly I mean BAM has tons of stuff! They had toys and knickknacks too. My friends and I would go there every weekend and spend gobs of money on anything and everything. You know those Sailor Moon wands and broaches they have at anime conventions for 80 dollars? In my closet right now and I bought them at SunCoast.

The two other ways we were exposed to new anime and manga titles were our local comic shop and anime conventions. The comic shop had the newest manga chapters and would even rent out VHS tapes. I bought a lot of posters from that man and I think he might have started my love of pins. My then boyfriend loved coming along with us because he had Pokemon cards which was just starting out and becoming super popular. I even did my senior project in high school about manga and worked a bit at said local comic shop to complete the project. I even bought some anime magazine in Japanese just to look at the articles and get the posters.

So much to see and do!

As for anime conventions my friends were the first to introduce me to them. I don’t know how they found out about them. We didn’t have Facebook or Myspace or anything major back then. It might have been someone’s father as he had business dealings in Atlanta and the first anime convention we went to was Anime Weekend Atlanta. Back then we mainly went to conventions to watch new series (well to us) with fellow anime fans. Dealer Rooms were small and usually only had anime/manga related items. There were a dedicated group of cosplayers and almost every single costume was recognizable by most con-goers.

One important way my friends and I were introduced to new anime titles was Toonami/Cartoon Network. Yes we mostly hated dubs and would laugh at the horrible voices we heard at times but it was a way for us to find new titles and such. I remember rejoicing when I finally got a TV in my own room so I could stay up “late” to watch titles that had DEATHS in them. Shocking I know.

While I have been a bit wordy I said this all to show you how much the anime/industry has changed for me personally. Then I will talk about how things have changed on a grander scale.

I think the first major change was SunCoast closing. It was a slow process. One day we walked in and the entire manga section was GONE. The week before it was there and the next week POOF. And since we were friendly with two of the workers we thought we could get some answers from them. Little did they know their store was closing down. A few months later I walked in and spent a great deal of month buying a lot of their 75 percent off animes. I think of that store every time I pass it in the mall. I have no idea what happened with the stores as a whole as it was always busy when I was there. But one store does not save them all.

Why did you leave me Borders?! I supported you as much as I could. :( Goodbye friend.

Since SunCoast closed my main source of anime/manga purchases went to Borders and anime conventions. Because did I mention that our local comic book shop was sold and turned into a American Comic shop? I did have a website where I could buy half off mangas (which was the source of many paychecks) but something happened with them. I think they got sued or something. And we know what happened to Borders. So really all I have left now is Books-A-Million (BLEH!!!) and anime conventions.

What strange device is this?

Watching anime used to be very expensive for me. I would rewatch series over and over again simply because that is all I had at the time and couldn’t afford anything else. I am pretty sure I watched Magic Knights Rayearth a million times. Oh and my bootlegged VHS copies of Sailor Moon S and Super S. XD But nowadays I watch all my anime for free via the internet. I know that will piss a lot of people off but I like watching animes now. I don’t want to wait and become spoiled via people on the internet and quite frankly it takes a long time for an anime series to make it from Japan to America. I DO support the industry in other ways though. My manga bookshelf shows that if I love a series enough I will buy a physical copy of it somehow. But I can’t remember the last time I watched anime on a TV though.

I still attend anime conventions although things have changed. Before we were all young and just dating people. We would pile up to 9 people in a room and do EVERYTHING together. One of my parental units would help fund these trips as if to make up for being a horrible human being. Dealer’s Rooms were small yet packed and competitively priced. And a lot of the rooms were dedicated to anime views. Nowadays my husband and I like to get rooms on our own. We do make an exception for one friend but the days of sharing a bathroom with 4 cosplayers are long gone. We are attempting to take better care of ourselves in terms of eating correctly and actually getting some sleep. We don’t really feel the need to sit in lobbies at 3 am and keep everyone up all night and know that a diet of pocky and ramune is not the way to keep away the con plague. The Dealer’s Room has changed dramatically. With the dollar falling prices have slowly risen but some take it too far with their greediness. Many booths have nothing to do with anime or mangas. American comics, movie posters, fuzzy hats, and weapons are all over the place. There are less viewing rooms as everyone has watched most of the newer episodes the week they came out. So in their place there are panels on Japanese history, America voice actors, hot former power rangers, and plushie making panels. It seems like there is less and less to do with anime and manga but as long as things are marginally popular and maybe related to Japan in some way it is allowed. People seem to think the fans are getting younger but that is just because people my age got married and made them. XD I am not sure how I feel about crazy convention antics. I don’t remember being that annoying but yeah. Maybe less buttscratcher and more being respectful of the people sharing space with you?

Gone before your time.

I have always been on Team Subtitles. That hasn’t changed since day one. The original in my opinion has always been better. But that doesn’t mean when Toonami died I rejoiced. Cartoon Network does have some anime titles now but nowhere near as many as they had in back in the days. I don’t even think Naruto has the popularity it had a few years ago. So while I rather blast most dubs to the moon I recognize they do help the overall industry and helped make the fandom reach its peak. I think without that source we will never recover to how things used to be.

Back in my day we had a lot of manga companies. And one in particular (Viz) liked to try and rob manga fans blind. 16 dollars for one volume? Nowadays the manga industry is trying to stay afloat and is coming out with HUGE manga volumes. 3 volumes worth of manga at the price of one plus a bit extra is a positive thing. Yet manga releases are slow due for a lot of reasons. The Japanese artists get ill, American companies close down/change hands, or titles get cancelled due to being unpopular or all the book stores are closing down. So while mangas might be cheaper it might be harder to get them.

At my anime convention? No thanks.

As for anime conventions…I myself would like to see more panels and events focused on the Japan aspect of the industry. More Japanese voice actors and musical acts and less My little Pony. More booth with anime and manga related products. I understand we are branching out but I don’t want an anime convention to become a Whatever Goes Convention. I think if things turn out that way guests will be less likely to come and it might further alienate people into thinking we are all weirdos. Not that some aspects of anime and manga don’t scare people already….

So now for how things have changed recently for the community. Where to start…

Well on January 2nd Bandai Entertainment announced they were not going to release any new titles. Instead they were going to act more like the middleman, finding other companies to produce Japanese anime and manga. Media Blasters has had to lay off 60 percent of their staff, a sure sign that things are super bad and that they might close down soon. FUNimation is suing A.D Vision and Sentai for 8 million dollars. Now this could mean that FUNimation is really hurting for money or they are trying to edge out some of the competition by collecting on money owed. In any event…whoa folks. Whoa. All of this in the last month?

So what does this mean for those collecting anime DVDS and Blu-Rays? Pretty bad things. Competition is key to keeping prices down and quality up. Now since I really don’t watch dubs I cannot speak for the quality of the American voice actors nor do I know if they are tied to only one company. But I do know that it is important to either have the American Anime companies be close to the Japanese companies or the Japanese companies to have a good relation with American fans. If neither happens we are pretty much screwed except for fansubs and scanlations. And we don’t know how much longer that will last O act of Congress right?

To me this doesn’t SEEM like the end of the world. I know people like to own physical copies so that might be harder to come by. And I know no one wants to pay Japanese DVD prices. Not sure how the Japanese fans can pull off 80 dollars for 3 episodes but that is way too much for ANYONE. So it might be hard for the Japanese companies to cut out the middle man (American anime distributors) as we won’t pay the big bucks. That is the big reason why many Anime companies have gone under, trying to stay afloat with cheap DVD prices while having to pay the Japanese for the licensing rights.

I see things going a more digital route. Which will make things faster and easier for anime fans. Obviously I am a fan of that. XD I have no problem with registering for a site. Just like other sites I use. I signed up for Photobucket and have a free account thus I have ads, limited bandwidth, and whatever else they decide to throw at me. Same with other like websites. So perhaps the Japanese anime companies could do the same. Maybe the free users have to wait a day or two (not a week…) to see brand new episodes and are subjected to ads. Not sure what kind of ads but something to help negate the cost of running the site and having a translator (preferably a native English speaker who is also fluent in Japanese).

Again I am not an expert on these things. I know that we are in a different part of the world as the Japanese and we do not make up the bulk of their revenue. And we are in different region zones which could cause a whole lot of confusion. And American anime fans (I keep saying America anime fans as that is where I am from and don’t want to speak for other countries) we tend to value media entertainment at a certain price point. Average movie ticket price in Japan is 23 dollars while here in America is around $8.50. So it might not be worth it media wise to create website or DVD/Blu_ray distribution store just for us. But that might open the door for Americans putting their money in other Japanese made products, like character goods and what not. The more anime a person watches the more likely they will buy merchandise from that series.

As for the manga/ magazine American front…yeah things are looking pretty bad. Shoujo Beat, Newtype, and Tokyo Pop are just some of the names gone from our book shelves. Manga would be harder to be only Japanese based. But since it hasn’t been done yet I am not sure how it would be if it went that route. And since I am a hypocrite it would make me sad if I couldn’t own physical copies of mangas. I am not sure why some American companies can’t get their acts together with decent release dates and completing series. But with books in general taking a hit I am not sure how this problem will be fixed anytime soon. The Lego section and Books-A-Million is larger than the manga section. This be bad folks.

I guess the point of this post is….yeah things are probably not going so well right now. But I have seen things peak fast so it is not really surprising it fell fast. People/companies wanted to make a quick buck and it sounds like no one really had long term plans. But maybe if things become smaller and tighter but more efficient this change could be positive. This change could be positive. Yes monster titles help carry the casual fandom and we haven’t had too many of those series in the past few years (except with Madoka) but I think there is still time to redefine the Anime/Manga fandom and industry here in America. So while things are not cupcakes and rainbows for our hobby…neither is anything else right now in the world. XD Many economies are suffering so the first things to go are luxuries. Things will get better but it will take time. It is sad when things go out of business when we really love them (SunCoast and Shojo Beat :( ) but perhaps in their place something else will rise and we will learn to love that too.

In any event I hope things improve for manga and anime fans. I hope we all can still buy the titles we love, attend amazing events, and look forward to positive changes that come along with new technologies. Things will never be like they are in Japan but hopefully we can still enjoy the stuff they produce. Nendoroids for all!

Another episode 2

My car…is fixed! Well as fixed as it was before last Thursday. It is drivable and that is all that matters. Rejoice everyone. When something is taken away from you you realize how important it was/is in your life. Wonder how many people get along just fine without a car in Japan?

Another piece of YAY news….my Christmas present for the husband came into day. XD Maybe tomorrow when the internets rebel against Congress I can clean my car and take nendoroid pictures. Oppies I guess I spoiled what it is.

I think everyone watching this show feels that way too.

But for now it is anime blogging time. Up now is the anime Another. Episode 2 and the mystery keeps rolling in. Spoilers for a lot more creepy dolls!

Cue the ominous flower petals!

Episode Summary: Despite Mei saying to stay away from her Kouichi seeks her out. She warns Kouichi that IT may have already begun. In art class everyone impresses Ms. Mikami with their scary lemon drawings. Kouichi grows closer to Yukari and becomes friendly with Mochizuki. Mochizuki and his scary lemon invite Kouichi to join the art club. Mochizuki nervously asks Kouichi what he thinks of their teacher Ms. Mikami. Walking back to the classroom Mochizuki confesses he feels uneasy about everything and thinks the entire class feels the same way. Teshigawara (MOG what is his first name..) walks up and makes sure the mystery is on the down low. But Kouichi sees Mei and walks away from those two in mid-sentence and closes the door on them. Mei is in the library drawing what looks like a naked doll. She talks about liking winter rain and if the boys warned Kouichi to stay away from her. The librarian dude randomly comes out and tells Kouichi to run back to class, no mention to Mei. Kouichi tells Aunt Reiko about the creepy library dude. He then talks about how he was invited to join the art club. He doesn’t have skill in drawing but would like to go to an art school to learn about carving and sculpting. Aunt Reiko is like your dad is going to be mad and you won’t have any marketable skills…but reach for the sky nephew!

Is there more to that question that meets the eye?

Later Kouichi goes to hospital to talk with nurse Sanae. She thinks he is there to talk about horror books but Kouichi has an important question to ask. Did a young girl from his school die when he was staying in the hospital? Nurse Sanae says she doesn’t know but will find out for him. Kouichi warns her not to get trouble by doing so. Kouichi notices that Mei is not in class again and he has the sads. After school Izumi questions Kouichi again on whether or not he had been to town before. She has the sinking feeling she has met him before and it bothers her she can’t remember where. Izumi is updated on what happened while she was out of school (that Kouichi had contact with Mei) and out of anger almost tells Kouichi what her class job o protection really is when Kouichi sees Mei and runs off. He loses track of her but walks by a random creepy doll shop and decides to go inside. Oh but not before Nurse Sanae calls and says a girl did die last week and has the same last name as Mei. WE SEE FOLKS! But Kouichi marches forward after the call is randomly dropped. An equally creepy old lady is running the shop. She implies that there are some items for sale that a high school boy can’t afford. She allows him to walk around and look at the creepy dolls. Kouichi goes downstairs and sees a doll that reminds him of Mei. Mei comes out of nowhere and says she likes these creepy dolls and points out her favorite ones. She then asks if Kouichi wants to see what is under her eye patch. So she takes it off and THE END!

A crazy lemon on drugs and run over by a car you mean.

I think this was a relatively good episode. I am trying to pay closer attention to details since I seem to be failing at that with Mirai Nikki. Or maybe the things I thought were interesting in the episode were obvious to everyone. Regardless time to discuss things.

I was talking to you!!!! My sentence was going to be awesome and spoil the series!

First things first. Kouichi is weird. Like really weird. He is surrounded by semi creepy seemingly alive classmates yet he is focused on the one really creepy maybe dead classmate that is never around. He could be in mid-sentence with someone and he walks away to find Mei. Like “Yes I am interested in finding out more about the art cl OH LOOK MEI”. That is seriously how he was acting. It makes me wonder why he is so interested in what Mei is doing. He met three classmates in the hospital first. Mei was afterwards. While she is a pretty girl and obviously mysterious….why is he acting like that? He seems very drawn to Mei for no reason. Maybe that is part of the mystery to the show, finding out why Kouichi is so drawn to her?

A random interest being mentioned? Must find out more!

Second thing of interest in this episode was Kouichi showing interest in something. Art. It came out of nowhere to me. Yes it is only episode 2 but there are usually clues to those types of interests. Probably way over the top clues. Like maybe having a few art books in his personal room, looking up at interesting architecture, something anyway.

Maybe I feel that way because it has been presented that Kouichi has an interest in horror books. Maybe I am just shocked that someone is shown having more than one interest. So while I have been focusing on the horror book comments I find it interesting this sudden maybe interest in art. Especially given the fact that he said carvings. Dolls are carved, eyeballs are carved out. Just saying.

Then what was that handshaking test about?

I thought Izumi was out of school because of an injury .That doesn’t seem to be the case. But she did tell Kouichi what she does do: works out plans to keep the class safe. So maybe she was out preventing some awful thing from happening? Maybe going to the BlackMarket for Japanese youth? Because you know how all teenagers in Japan have access to scary weapons. Also something to note is that Izumi seemed ready to tell Kouichi something. Not sure what but it appears she was going to tell Kouichi why she has to protect the class. Only Kouichi saw the pretty Mei butterfly and ran off to see how shiny it looked.

So at this point I am not sure why Izumi wanted everyone to keep a secret from Kouichi if she was going to spill the beans the next day. Maybe she was going to only tell part of the truth? Like Mei is an evil girl who likes to hurt us out of an long time grudge. But keep out the important facts like Mei is really dead and maybe Kouichi is too.

Or just walk away. Anytime something important is being said Kouichi walks away or the phone cuts off. I SEE!

I think the majority of the classmates are trying. Not sure if that is all an act but I think some of them genuinely want to get to know Kouichi. Mei and Izumi put little seeds of doubt in my mind that people fear Kouichi. But maybe they have reason to be. Either way some of these kids are trying to carry on with their normal lives. Joining clubs, talking to the new kid, and trying to keep a deep dark secret hidden. You know the normal teenage things. It will be interesting to see their personalities shine before they are taken out one by one.

His students seem more alive outside his classroom though...

I think the homeroom teacher is half dead or something. Maybe it is hard teaching a bunch of kids that are considered dead anyway. I am not seeing much interaction between the other students in the school and this class. So maybe the teacher feels as if there is no point in trying. They are cursed anyway.

Is that a confusion face or a AW CRAP he knows face?

The interactions between Kouichi and the nurse are weird. Was Kouichi really in the hospital that long? I understand bonding over a common interest but for Kouichi to go back to the hospital and talk to the nurse was weird. She seemed okay with talking to him just about horror stories and all. So their connection seems weird. I am not sure how much I can trust what the nurse is saying. She did look a little like X__X why is Kouichi asking and her information was fuzzy at best. So what is her deal? Too low on the totem pole to know what is really going on or playing dumb to help keep the secret?

Will all of Class 3 end up here by the end of the series?

Now onto the random doll house. Since House of Wax comes on like every single week on one of the movie channels my mind jumped to that. Basically the movie is about a group of teenagers/young people who find out all the wax sculptures in town are really dead people. So when Kouichi was walking around looking at all the dolls I was wondering if these were representative of any dead or future (and soon) victims in this town. The old lady running the shop said that there were things that Kouichi couldn’t afford. Maybe a life size doll made from the corpse of a human? So this ties in the reason why the dolls are all over the episodes. Obviously something important is going on in this shop. Accident my butt. Wouldn’t it be creepy if when the original girl died they made her into a doll and talked to her? XD But my bet would be that maybe Mei was killed and is in her doll body? Just a thought.

And these are her favorite dolls because.....

So another House of Wax reference came up in this episode. Mei pops up in the doll shop and says that she likes these half naked creepy dolls. She has hinted that she was visiting her other half in the morgue. Now she has said she is less than half. I personally believe she might be disfigured or lost that eye because she was born a conjoined twin. That maybe the reason why she is alive is because they were separated in a risky operation and the other twin died. And it is that person that is running around creepy people out. And as a stretch maybe she impersonates Mei with the eye patch and what not.

Cliffhanger!!!

So in conclusion…we know nothing yet folks. And that seems to be part of the fun. Guessing and speculating on what could be going on. Is Kouichi dead? Is anyone dead? When will the body count start? Why are dolls so creepy? I doubt we will have any answers soon but it will be fun to watch the slow reveal. Yay for fun.

Mirai Nikki episode 14

Random thought of the day: Cheesecake with caramel inside is weird.

The car is still broken. But the good news is all my pictures have been restored to previous blog posts! XD I have taken measures to make sure something silly like that doesn’t happen again. So no more angry boxes of doom folks.

OH SNAP! Spoilers for someone growing balls!

Up now is a crazy show near and dear to the Twilight Zone. And since I live in the Twilight Zone I love the insanity behind it. Of course I am talking about Mirai Nikki! Episode 14 is here folks. I think you might want to eat before watching this episode. Well unless you are okay with imagining the worse with bathroom matter. Then you should be good. XD

Err...glad you care about them now...after you killed them.

Episode Summary o shortness: Mao, Kousaka, and Akise are still trapped in the room with the gas. Akise promises he has a plan to make Yuno release them. Inside Control Center de Crazy Hinata watches in horror was Yuno feeds a tied up and drugged up looking Yuki. Yuno then proceeds to help Yuki to go to the bathroom. Did I mention this crazy is in her underwear? Akise starts talking to Yuno over the camera system. He says he dug up the hole in her house and found the headless bodies. Yuno is not pleased but is even more outraged when Akise asks who the corpse is in the ground that still has their head. Yuno then supposedly alters her memories to forget about the group yet turns up the gas level. Kousaka really starts freaking and wants to type out his last thoughts. But he gets an email congratulating him on becoming a Future Diary Apprentice. Everyone is like X___ X but his Diary tells him all his magical moves, one of them being escaping through the vent. So he does.

Hinata is scarred for life too!

Yuki has started to wake up and takes the viewers on a magic carpet ride through the last week of his life. Basically Yuno just tied him up and that was the end of that. No discussion or anything. Yuki is super weak and can’t even talk. Kousaka breaks into the control room and starts acting all tough an all. Yuno and her different voice is like um who are you? Kousaka introduces himself as a Diary User and Yuno gets all mastermind on him. Kousaka gets distracted while freeing Akise and Mao. This gives Yuno an opportunity to sneak up on Kousaka with a crossbow. She shoots him in the leg and is ready to kill him. Yuki has taken this time to get Hinata to help him escape. Yuki slaps Yuno and basically calls her Diary useless. Yuno switches back to sad lost girl and says she did this all to protect Yuki from the final Diary Users. Yuki is like bitch you crazy and leaves with Akise, Hinata, Kousaka, and Mao. They make great haste as three Diary Users are on their way. Elsewhere we see Diary User number 8. She looks like….some kind of bobble head and is running some type daycare/orphanage. One of her minions have spent three Apprentice Diary Users to go after Yuno and Yuki. While Yuki is escaping he sees the trio on the road. Yuno finds her pants and vows to protect Yuki. THE END!

This is my disappointed face people. DISAPPOINTED!

I was really rooting for you Yuno. I even talked about you in another anime post. Nothing to do with Mirai Nikki but I think you inspired it! And now…now…just sadness.

I actually thought there was going to be a reason why Yuno did this all. But no folks. She is just plain old crazy. I am not sure how she thought locking up Yuki against his will was going to protect him or her. Well maybe I can a little. If she kept Yuki in the dark about her plans no one would be able to track them. Had she covered her tracks a little better no one would have been able to locate them. It was only because of 8th special Diary power and the specific group of people sent to find Yuki that ruined her plans. The actual Diary users had no idea where Yuno and Yuki were which was a good plan.

What I think is stupid is what Yuno did after kidnapping Yuki. Sure she needed to keep him in the dark as he doesn’t have great self-preservation skills. And the more people who know a plan the more likely it will get out. The cops weren’t after Yuki but they could still use him and his sparkly eyed innocence to milk some information out of the boy. But once they are in the building and Yuki woke up why couldn’t Yuno explain the situation to Yuki? Sans handcuffed to the chair. Because waking up handcuffed to a chair is not the best situation to breed trust and faith. I thought there was a reason for Yuno to go so far in her plan but in the end she was just insane. Like she has been the entire time. Only now she doesn’t seem to be thinking clearly while before she was insane and cunning. Yuki had just accepted her love and returned it. Why would she risk ruining her happy ending with such a drastic plan? Protect Yuki yes but let him in on the plan. I think at this point in the game he would have agreed hiding out would have been a great idea. But she didn’t do that…and now she is just a crazy person.

I...wha....aren't you supposed to be smart?!

I thought Akise was going to be amazing folks. I heard things about him. Great things. But for Kousaka to have the idea via his “apprentice” Diary to escape from the vents…that makes me sad. Of course Akise is only 14 and not American. I mean that in a way that every single show ever here in America has an escape scene through a vent. But with the realization that Akise came without a weapon and couldn’t think up such a simple solution. Maybe I will give him a pass though. Akise seems to operate better when he thinks he has the upper hand. Being placed in a life or death situation with no back-up plan was probably a new experience for him.

Couldn't it be the Random Cop dude...or Yuki's mom...someone else?

Can I just state how sad I am it is Kousaka that is the “apprentice” Diary User. Like really….could there be a worse person picked? I guess in my mind I thought he was going to be a minor character with Mao and Hinata being character arc people. Now that they have the potential to stick around I just roll my eyes. Kousaka just seems…way too excited to be a potential diary user. Not cunning and way too full of himself.

ALIEN!

I think I have figured out the 8th’s Diary User power. I am not saying I have for sure but if I am right I am not upset for figuring it out so soon. But to me it looks like 8th is running something similar to an Orphanage. Therefore she has a lot of access to young and impressionable minds. Like how 6th was able to use the eyes of her followers 8th is too. Only she has taken it a step further and extends her power to other people. I don’t believe for a second these are real diary users or could become real diary users. Well maybe if 8th died. But as long as she is still alive she is in charge.

WEEE! Look at us stretching out the plot since a lot of Diary Users are already dead.

So in other words I think the scene with MurMur and Kousaka didn’t mean anything. Maybe MurMur did that to throw Kousaka off. Not that he really remembered this anyway….But anyway I think MurMur did that to throw people off if someone had brains enough to question things. What happened is 8th wanted to track down Yuno (and possibly Yuki) and somehow knows that Yuki has FRIENDS. She gave Kousaka a Diary power so she could find out where Yuki and Yuno were. I am not sure why Kousaka was selected instead of Hinata or Mao but that is probably not important. What is important is that Kousaka isn’t really a Diary User and I would bet that the people in the car at the end of the episode aren’t either. There is way too much show left to have all the Diary Users revealed now. So while there are a lot of potential users in the works I think the only official one Diary User will be revealed in the next arc.

A miraculous recovery!

So back to Yuki being kidnapped. Last week it looked like he was knocking on heaven’s door. This week someone manages to kick him the key and he is magically fine. No folks. He looked pretty much useless. And I don’t blame him. If I was tied to a chair for a week with barely any food and stuck with a crazy person I might be looking awful too. So maybe it would have been a little more realistic had he staggered a bit. I mean…he isn’t Yuno after all.

So. Yeah. Yeah folks. Yuno is so prepared in life and in this game she brings along in her bag of weapons a penis shaped container. A penis shaped container. I have no idea what it is really is used for in real life but the point is Yuno went to the store with the sole purpose of using this when she tied Yuki to a chair eventually. A PENIS SHAPED CONTAINER! I might be scarred for life. I mean….in some shows we often wonder what characters do in…dire situations in regards to bathroom problems but seriously folks. Who the hell wrote this and why is he/she obsessed with bathroom antics?

HOW DID YUKI GO POOP?! MOG SCARRED FOR LIFE!!!

Yes. This is what will send Yuno over the edge. Good thing we know her weakness folks!

Now trying to move on to other crazy things…Yuno and her parents. I think we all knew since the door opened that those bodies were Yuno’s parents. That the first scene in the series was about Yuno and her family. And many have speculated that the smaller body is Yuno’s sister. But now I am not so sure. Why wouldn’t Yuno take her sister with her? I am assuming the parents did something awful to Yuno and she killed them. That or Yuno was already crazy. So would Yuno take her parents with her and leave behind a possibly innocent sibling? Someone she doesn’t want to talk about? I am thinking that isn’t the case. So what other secret is Yuno keeping? HMM folks did these people get in Yuno’s way the first time she played the game (allegedly) and she had to unfortunately take them out? Or is it futile to try and make sense of anything Yuno does or says?

Yuno’s aim though….it is funny how it changes from episode to episode. She can killed 6 armed cops but only shot Kousaka in the leg. I see. I see folks.

That would probably make more sense AFTER she did the gas increase, not before.

Also I am not really feeling this Yuno can change her own memories thing. If she had “forgotten” about the group in the room she wouldn’t have turned the gas up higher. She does have a different voice now which I appreciate better than the random eyeball changing thing. She did seem like a different person when talking to Kousaka but when Yuki slapped her and escaped she was sounding like herself. I guess the memory thing isn’t important, it is just best to think of her as an insane person.

And then she snaps and kills everyone?

Although…I really thought she go totally off the wall when Yuki turned on her. Like take out a knife and kill everyone there. I guess she was reached her little breaking point and deep down she is just a 14 year old kid. But she is usually quick to blame everything on everyone else so I am surprised she didn’t pick up a knife and stab everyone in the face. No deaths this episode Yuno? Were you really that surprised Yuki didn’t like being tied up against his will? At least you pulled yourself together rather fast to go and save Yuki but seeing the crazy fire go out in your eyes was a bit weird.

But now that Yuki is clearly not on team Yuno what will happen now? A bunch of “apprentice” Diary users may be rather amateurish but Yuki’s skills so far have been lacking. Yuno better run fast to make it back to Yuki in time. I appreciate the fact that Yuno took the time to get dressed though. Thanks Yuno.

Shakugan no Shana Season Three episode 14

Car is still broken. Le sigh. The husband has been driving me to work and momager has been letting me use her car. I consider myself pretty lucky (well lucky considering the situation) to still be able to work with a broken car. It is easy to see how people can be so far behind on their bills when just one thing happens in their life. So things are…okay for now. I need my car fixed my Wednesday night for things to be really okay. And not cost 500 dollars as well.

But since I am going to be stuck at home with limited mobility I shall become a cleaning machine. Or a lazy bum on the couch. We shall see folks.

Err....spoilers for that not being the truth.

But for now it is anime time! Shakugan no Shana Season Three episode 14 to be exact! Spoilers for the longest escape ever!

Episode Summary: YujiSnake has made a grand entrance riding on top of his amazing snake body. He explains later in the episode that his body is still too weak for him to inhabit. I see now. All of his baddie people are having the best party ever at his return. Well except for the old dude guarding the portal. He seems very happy just to see the god’s return before he dies. YujiSnake announces to all what his Grand Order really is: To create a new universe into the void he just left for all his baddie friends. Everyone...doesn't really react to this information. Shana and her group make it to Granny Panties who is now hiding INSIDE the safety of the castle. Granny says they must make a fast decision on how to proceed but tells Wilhelmina and Shana to change clothes as their appearance might ruin moral. Khamsin and Rebecca are put in one team to help with the escape process while Wilhelmina and Shana are put in another team. Some random baddie goes around and plays on his instrument telling the amazing tale of Mr. Snake. The only one to question this random singing person is Mr. Robot.

Face it Mr. Robot....serious questions are silly. XD

While most of the Flame Hazes fight with sticks and pointy spoons the main characters use amazing attacks. Even the old dude with a scar on his face is able to use other people’s powers to make a pretty strong shield. Granny Panties is leading most of their troops on a luxurious walk to a safe point. YujiSnake is sadden by all this fighting and vows to put an end to it. He then announces again his plans. He is going to create another world and not harm Earth while doing so. Then he will gather up all the baddies and they will leave on this other plane without harvesting Power o Existence from the humans. Thus the Flame Hazes will not be forced to fight. Almost all of the Flame Hazes lose their minds at the thought of being useless and start to run away. The baddies then take that opportunity to kill a great deal of them. Our main people are the only ones that are able to fight and join in battle while trying to protect as many as possible. THE END!

This is one giant HMMM folks. HMMMM!

I am either missing the point or most of the humans/Flame Hazes are really, really stupid. Or both. Let’s see here folks.

Behold! I has arrived!

It has been hinted at/straight out said by the Yuji side of YujiSnake that he is has “sided” with the baddies to protect his people. Now since Yuji has been on team Shana since day one I would think that he hasn’t turned on her. Usually when you are in love with someone you don’t join sides with someone who could potentially kill her. No no he would want to protect her and the best way to protect a Flame Haze is take away the thing that might kill her.

So when YujiSnake came and announced his plan (TWICE!!!) why wasn’t there more rejoicing? Why is everyone still depressed? And why did the battle continue on the baddies side of things?

I am taking all the baddies away...and you still aint happy?!

If we take things at face value this sounds like a good idea for everyone. YujiSnake wants to create a new world on the Yellow Brick Road, away from Earth and Original Baddie Central. In this new, identical world the baddies can have all the Power o Existence they want. That means they will leave Earth and all the humans will be safe from becoming Torches. Everyone gets to live separate lives on separate planets. YAY!

We must stop him from leaving us jobless! Fight the unemployment rate!

The first time YujiSnake said this to everyone…..it was like the Flame Hazes didn’t register what he was saying. He probably could have said “I have returned Meatballs and Spaghetti for everyone!!!” and the Flame Hazes would have reacted the same. Didn’t anyone want to question what the heck he was talking about? Didn’t they assume that he was coming back to eat them all? So when he said this why still all the crazy?

Well you were already melting...

Then the second time YujiSnake announced this….everyone just melted. It was the worse news ever. It was like YujiSnake told them he set their houses on fire while peeing in their cornflakes and running their mommas over with a stolen bus filled of handicapped children heading towards a brick wall. The world was officially over folks.

But here is the thing…or what I came away thinking. YujiSnake is head bad guy so maybe they don’t believe anything he says. Or for some REALLY old people they remember that part of this “New Creation” involves the destruction of the old world. That would make sense for Mr. Snake and not Yuji. So if everyone was upset that HEY you are just trying to trick us but really we are dead anyway…I would be more understanding.

Can I just slap every single one of them?

But that is not what I felt happened. I don’t think most of the Flame Hazes were like NOOOO it is the end of the world. I think they were all like WAIIIIII no my life has no meaning! If I can’t fight the baddies my life has no purpose WAIIII! Like it was seriously a pity party of…well thousands of people because in this battle when baddies and Flame Hazes die they turn into two people because that is how crowded things got. But putting that aside…What the hell folks?! They either need to be upset the world is ending or hopefully because maybe the war is over. Not sad because they are out of a job. Who cares if people are protected because of this new system. No no folks we are sad because now everything we have been fighting for is over with.

My retreats including running for my life. But that is just me.

Also did anyone see how SLOW everyone was going during the retreat? I have seen grannies in walkers cross the street faster than that. It was like they were walking through the mall chillin and checking out sales. No sense of urgency at all. Because according to Granny Panties running would make them big targets. Oh okay.

Well this is what happens to people who actually fight. They all can't be pristine like you Granny Panties.

Oh and did we see the part where Granny Panties told Shana and Wilhelmina to change their clothes? One second Granny is like we need to make very fast decisions to keep our loses at a minimum then she is saying um can you two ladies go freshen up? Yeah because this is a battle folks. It would just be devastating if other troops saw their reinforcements in a torn dress and a bandaged arm. END OF THE WORLD FOLKS! Like seriously what was that? An excuse to give Shana a new cute outfit?

Okay so YujiSnake told the Flame Hazes that everything was going to be okay and everyone was going to have a chance to live. Then his troops proceeded to decimate the Flame Hazes. Now…5 seconds before YujiSnake made his second epic speech he was looking on at the battle with sadness in his eyes. That he didn’t want anyone to be hurt or disappear from the world without a trace anymore. So….if this is YujiSnake’s true plan wouldn’t it be in his best interests to pull back his troops? If Granny Panties was already leaving why attack them? YujiSnake was risking his troops lives by allowing the attack to continue. He was allowing all the other Flame Hazes to become bloody messes for no reason? If he is trying to have a peaceful resolve why did he allow this to happen?! None of this makes sense?!

MOG how many Flame Hazes are there?!

I am really trying hard to like this series. I know a lot of people do. But now that everyone knows the true meaning behind YujiSnake’s plan….why still all the deaths and destruction? I guess I was expecting some shocked faces but for the Flame Hazes to give up all hope was X___X. And if YujiSnake wanted to protect everyone this was probably not the way to do it. That and I am really questioning why most of the nonimportant Flame Hazes are fighting with basic swords and crap and all the main Flame Hazes seem to have special abilities. Like I can see fighting with a sword but with a COOL important one, not one I could buy at my local anime convention.

I feel like that is when this day started, 3,000 years ago. How many episodes have taken place in the span of this "day"?

I guess the best part of this episode was the random stranger walking around singing about what was happening. And how the little robot dude was questioning why he was important. But then it was never talked about again.

More like Operation Take Yo Time!

This entire episode was dedicated to the Flame Hazes retreated. And since they treated it like a walk in the park they didn’t make it very far. So next episode…most retreating! I guess this is how they are going to stretch the series out so long. Guess we will see if YujiSnake is telling the truth about not destroying the current world with his new one. Soon but probably not in the next episode.

Guilty Crown episode 12: Is there a saying stronger than WTF?

So folks. 2012 sucks. Just sucks.

Do you know what I drove today? My mom’s granny mobile. Why? Because my car is probably dead. Or dying. Normally when the check oil light comes on in a car it means head on over the your local scammer…err car place and get an oil change. But with me, my car, and my luck it means your car will go 10 more miles and then threatened to turn into the plane from LOST. You know that awful noise it made when the plane was going down? That is exactly what my car sounded like.

Shu has a first class ticket on the crazy train! Time to ride folks!

Did I say I was going to be poor until February? I meant March. Maybe April. BOOOO! I hate you oh responsibilities and realities of being an adult.

But you know what I am rich in? Crazy. So much crazy in the anime world right now. What am I talking about? Why the massive train/boat/car/plane wreck that is Guilty Crown episode 12. Spoilers for an episode that was thought up on an acid trip, sugar high, and bout with insanity!

Episode Summary: I….how do I even do this?! Maybe I should just write what I think happened….

No. Don't tell him your name. Jump back into the ocean right now if you value your life.

So Gai is bleeding to death and Shu is like NOOOOO I was just started to like you. Random kid has an unconscious Inori and tries escaping into some purple crazy rip in space. Gai informs Shu that he can follow Random Kid because…well because folks. So Shu does. Meanwhile Shuichirou is showing Segai some of what is going on in the world. The entire city is actually someone’s void. The void of the first victim of Sparkle Crystals. Shuichirou then tells Segai he can’t go any further in the…whatever this area is and leaves him behind. For some reason Segai gets in contact with Shu’s mom and they are able to hook up a computer to see what is going on in that weird space. Shu reaches weird space and sees Random Kid hooking Inori up to something weird….almost like a crazy hairnet type deal. Or a bridal veil. Shuichirou and Random Kid explain that Inori is only a shell and they are filling her with the soul of Mana, the first person infected with Sparkle Crystal. Then Shuichirou is going to marry InoriMana in some weird ceremony performed by Random Kid and start a new generation of people…after they infect the rest of the world. Gai eventually tumbles into this weird world and demands that Shu finally remember! So…HE DOES!

Turns out Mana was Shu’s sister (unclear on if she was a stepsister or real sister but Shu’s momma is not his real momma). Anyway Shu and Mana were hanging out chillin at the beach when Gai (who couldn’t remember his name at the time) washes up on shore. After Mana gives him CPR life is amazing. Shu teaches Gai how to be AMAZING and strong while…well will Mana looks at Shu like she wants to jump him and ride him all night long. Turns out Mana got infected somehow with the crazy crystal and wants to mate with Shu. This kinda disturbs Gai who may have liked Mana had she not gone so crazy. On one particularly crazy day Mana manages to confused Gai enough to injury himself. Shu runs in to protect Gai and calls Mana a monster. Mana screams and loses control of her powers. She blows herself up and becomes Lost Christmas. Gai protects Shu (which…still makes no sense as Shu should have been totally infected too) but leaves to become stronger somewhere else.

The scene is already so bright there is no room for sparkles.

Now Shu is like NOOOOOOOO. Well no about Gai dying. Not so sure he has put together that maybe Inori is the good side of Mana thus he is still in love with his sister. But putting that aside they need to stop Mana for taking over Inori’s body because that would be really bad folks. Gai and his bleeding to death self keeps on telling Shu he can do it!!! Shu magically acquires a new power which is pulling out someone’s Void and handing it to them. With that Gai sets to work trying to “free” Inori and Mana. Gai gets miserably mangled in the process. In the end Shu has to take Inori’s Void and stab both Gai and Mana. Because you can stab a spirit folks. The real Mana briefly wakes up to see Gai before they die. Random kid then appears to kill Shuichirou and runs off. Shu manages to get Inori out before everything gets TOO crazy. Inori wakes up and both cry over the fact that Gai is dead. THE END!!

Hmm Eve...I see. Because Eve tried to destroy the human race before starting a new one....

So….you know that crazy girl Yuno from Mirai Nikki? Pink hair, loves Yuki, likes to chop people up into tiny pieces? This show is a figment of her imagination. The reason why she is crazy is when she goes to sleep she dreams Guilty Crown. Because only someone that insane could think up this entire crazy universe.

I am pretty sure about the step sibling thing.....they could both be related by blood and have a stepmom though....

I was already to scream EW INCEST and poke my eyes out with a stick. But then it turned into HAHA just kidding. I believe that Shu’s dad married Mana’s mom. Thus the two are not really related and it is not “real” incest. Everything is okay now folks.

OR NOT! It looks to me like Mana was a few years older than Gai. Or “Triton”. Freak renaming people like that. But yes Mana looks like she could be a few years older than Gai and Shu. Meaning she should know better. Because I am not blaming the crazy crystal disease on all of her….feelings. No no some of that I think was truly how Mana felt.

And Gai tried to save you because....

Either way folks my eyes were very @__@ the entire episode. I feel as if Gai and Shu were sexually assaulted in this episode. What the hell is this crystal disease all about? Turning teenagers into sexual deviates, making them into rock monsters, and creating weapons inside their hearts? Who the hell thought up this crazy disease?!

Name calling will bring about the end of the world.

Oh and speaking of Forgotten Christmas…..yeah. That was just one girl screaming because her plans on sleeping with her stepbrother failed. We never saw Mana touch said magical rock of doom nor do we know if anyone prior to that touched the doom rock. So it might be possible Mana was the only one infected or infected enough to….well scream out a blast of rocks and crazy. Let the record show that a devastating attack on Japan was caused by someone being called a monster. I smell an anti-bullying campaign folks!

Shu jumping over a broken part of a bridge=Gai bringing an entire group together to fight and possibly die against the ruling power. Totally equal folks.

Also let the record show that Shu used to be AWESOME and Gai was the one who was scared to make moves and stand up for himself. Due to the completely insanity Shu witnessed he lost his mind and his memories. The reason why Shu didn’t continue being awesome because Gai decided he needed to leave. Um how about you stay with Shu and become stronger together? Such crazy. Shu you were brave I’m sorry.

Oh have I mentioned that Inori might not be a real person? Shocking I know in an anime with a crystal disease, a random portal to….a marriage chapel, and weaponized souls/hearts but yes folks. It was hinted at/flat out said that Inori was simply a vessel to house Mana’s floating soul. And if anyone guessed that before this episode…well you might want to look in the mirror…Yuno.

WHO THE HELL ARE YOU?!!?!?

Can I talk about that random marriage from hell and My Little Pony land? Because really folks. Really. When we last saw our heroes Inori was being kidnapped by some random kid. Random kid has not been explained yet but given how the main bad guy has been (maybe) killed he might get more limelight in the next few episodes. But putting that aside when random kid kidnapped Inori I thought maybe he was just going to hide her out, maybe take her to the top of Tower de DeadBodies/Crystals. I really didn’t think that she was going to be taken into…..err….wherever they were and married off to old man Shuichirou. There was blood lips stick and Inori writhing in pain (pleasure?) and random kid acting like this was a real marriage ceremony. Like seriously folks I have no idea what I just saw. Why does Shuichirou think that this was a great plan? Infect the entire world and mate with a fake human housing the cause of the crystal disease? How does this sound like a step towards a positive future? Or any future at all?!

This marriage has to happen or else their union won't be supported by God. DUH FOLKS! Needs to be official. Can't have any bastard crystal babies running around.

I would also like to question the rationale behind a fake body for Mana. Mana….blew up. Like goodbye body hello floating in space. Mana was just a soul. Wasn’t all the power in her body? So…how would putting Mana’s soul in Inori’s body bring about the dawn of a new humanity? Of course this is a show about souls being weapons…maybe it is the soul that is infected and the body just suffers the side effects. I guess since we really don’t know what Inori is we can only speculate for now.

Speculating into crazy land that is. I don’t even know if this post is making any sense at this point. We got a incest loving step sister, Shu’s momma isn’t his real momma, Inori isn’t a real person, Shu was actually brave before…you know, the entire city is someone’s void, and Gai dies.

A very happy ending for those two indeed. The story can only go up from here.

Oh yes folks. Gai is dead for real. Last episode he looked pretty much dead with that huge slice in his chest but now he is super dead. Like dust in the wind dead. Which was pretty much expected after such a serious wound but now I am unhappy. I thought he was in love with Mana and maybe he was at one point. But she turned into a crazy crystal person who was trying to jump Shu’s bones. Maybe Gai could see past the incest loving sister and really liked Mana. Before she turned really insane. But it just felt….bleh after finding out who Mana really was. I guess in my mind she was this innocent victim that Gai was fighting for. But really Gai was suicidal the entire time and just wanted to take out Mana once and for all. Although….how did he know Mana was still alive?

I see. I see all and understand all. Yes I do.

At this point nothing makes sense. Nothing at all folks. I see that people are saying that this episode explained a lot. I mean…I guess it explained that ONE picture from Shu’s childhood that I thought was Inori. But no folks. This really doesn’t explain anything at all. Just gave us a rushed view of Shu’s childhood and some floating eyeballs in crazy space. Like nothing is really explained about the marriage ceremony, why the first person infected was the most powerful, WHAT EXACTLY IS THIS DISEASE, and who the random kid was.

Are they crying because Gai died or because none of this makes sense?

But it’s okay folks. But Gai went out sparkling and Inori and Shu cried over his death. Obviously this is the best show ever and I am just a meanie for being confused. But I am sure that Shu has another sparkle power that will allow him to bring Gai back to life. After all he was able to allow Gai to use his own (Gai’s own) Void when everyone else passes out. So anything is possible in a show that makes no damn sense YAY!

Run, be the new leader, same thing.

New Anime Series! Another episode 1!

I have been feeling like a lazy bum lately. Which is odd because I think I did a good deal of cleaning today. But I guess the rough start to the new year factored in with being broken is making me feel bleh. While many people are in debt up to their eyeballs and have it worse than me I still feel kinda meh that I won’t have any money until the start of February. X__X I guess I don’t really need anything as it was just Christmas but the idea of being broke for the month on the 3rd is a bit crappy.

But maybe it will be good to get caught up on household bills and what not. More time I can spend organizing this house. Maybe I can turn this New Year around and get rid of/donate things that are taking up space in my house. I am good at cleaning and I love organizing stuff but getting rid of items is hard for me to do. I am a bit of a collector in case that is not completely obviously.

Start looking for clues folks!!!!

So the highlight of my semihousewife day was the start of a new anime. Another. Yes Another. XD Have fun in search engines with that. Another episode 1. WEEE! My first new anime of the Winter Season. It looks like it might be on the dark side folks. Spoilers for a lot of shifty eyes and secrets!

We represent the lollipop guild. Or death class 3. One of the two.

Episode Summary: (ERR I am already at over 1,600 words X__X) An unseen person is telling another unseen person the story about a dead girl Misaki. She was very popular with everyone but had an unfortunate accident. Instead of mourning the girl’s death the class and the teachers pretend like the girl is still alive. This happened 26 years ago. In the year 1998 a young man Kouichi wakes up in the hospital. He has a collapsed lung and his grandmother shows great concern for him. This is unfortunate timing for Kouichi as he just moved to his mother’s home town and was supposed to start school. Momma is dead and Daddy is on a business trip to India so Kouichi is set to live with his grandparents and Aunt. As Kouichi recovers three classmates from his to be class come and visit with him. They pretend they are there to welcome him to town but really it turns into an investigation. They mainly are concerned with whether or not he has ever been in this city before. When he says no crazy looks are exchanged.

A handshake of great importance!

Later that night Kouichi goes to take a walk around the hospital when he runs into a girl with an eye patch on. She says only a few things, that her name is Mei Misaki and that she is going to go visit her other half. Then she walks towards the morgue. Kouichi is released and starts his life in his new home. He has a crazy pet bird and a father who wakes him up early in the morning. Via phone the dad explains that he suffered from collapsed lungs when he was younger but things will be fine. Grandpa doesn’t seem to be in a good mood as he is still mourning the death of his daughter, Kouichi’s mom. The Aunt takes the time to tell Kouichi how he needs to act at his new school. Once Kouichi arrives he is introduced to the rest of his classmates who are very, very quiet. But during break (when the homeroom teacher leaves) everyone excitedly talks to him. Everyone seems to take a turn talking to Kouichi while the other classmates look nervous, sick, and pissed off. Everyone is like oh we got to take Kouichi on a tour of the school…..NOW!

That name belongs to the person we do not speak of!

Kouichi is unable to participate in gym class and sits with another student who claims to have a heart condition. The student goes to the nurse’s office alone even though Kouichi offered to go with him. Another injured student (Yukari from the hospital) hobbles up and asks how Kouichi is doing. He questions why Izumi is absent from school and why Mei who was in class earlier is not in gym class. Yukari is like X__X who is Mei?!?! But Kouichi seems Mei on the roof and runs off to talk to her. Mei says she doesn’t remember meeting Kouichi in the hospital but will tell him a few things. That the rest of the class is scared of him as his name is connected to death and now he is in the death class. She warns him to stay away from her and walks away. THE END

While not much has happened in this episode there was a lot to digest. Let’s talk about this crazy show together shall we?

After viewing the episode I question why it is titled Another. Mainly because it is a pain to look up on the web XD. So many other things pop up instead. I kid I kid. So why is it called Another? Is this Another event, like the one 26 years ago? Or is this Mei “another” Mei as the legend continues on? Or could mean something else, like Kouichi is another person who is about to cause a whole bunch of crazy on this town…or fix the crazy that is already there.

And I think that is a load of crap.

Since this is only episode 1 we can’t really decipher what the title could be about yet. So let’s focus on the first clip of the show. It was someone who sounds like Kouichi telling a schoolmate (or a young girl) the story of Misaki. She was a young, popular girl who died in an “accident”. Now the weird part of this story is her classmates and teachers pretended like she was alive up until graduation. Throughout this little story telling there are random images that pop up seemingly out of order. Some blood, a few broken dolls, and images of the town all rainy and what not.

Not that anyone wants to tell Kouichi the story anyway. They are busy trying to figure out who HE is.

Now after watching the episode one has to question the truthfulness of this story. One it sounds like it is being told by Kouichi. Since Kouichi is “new” to told he has been told this information. From people who may or may not be lying to him. Now a second option might be that Kouichi and the people (probably his classmates) who told him this story are telling what they think is the truth. The truth that they were told. Usually beloved classmates who are popular with the students and teachers don’t randomly die. Because I am not buying the accident story. Someone murdered this girl. And most normal people don’t pretend that dead people are still alive and well. The class was being haunted and forced to go along with this alive Mei story out of fear.

Or at least that is my rambling theory for now. That the story that was told to us at the beginning of the episode should be treated with a grain of salt.

Another interesting fact is this story is set in 1998. It is 2012 right now. That means Kouichi COULD HAVE been talking to his child who is about to enter this cursed school for the first time. I just think it is very strange to have an anime dated in such a way. Almost like a survivor is telling the new generation how to survive in this crazy town. Which would mean the curse/mystery isn’t solved or isn’t solvable.

Me thinks you should head for the hills now Kouichi.

Kouichi is the typical transfer student. Only he is a 9th grader, not a typical 7th or 10th grader. Meaning these kids have already been in school with each other for quite a while. Oh and he misses the beginning of the school year because of a collapsed lung. A few details are given about Kouichi’s background. Kouichi’s mother died a while ago, Kouichi’s mother and aunt attended the school Kouichi is heading towards, and Kouichi’s father is overseas in India. We never really see Grandma and Grandpa’s face. And Grandpa is pretty broken up about his daughter’s death even though it was a quite a while ago.

Yes. That sounds like an official class position there folks.

Kouichi’s first encounter with his classmates are pretty weird. I am actually surprised they didn’t come in with knives and guns blazing. They were all very stiff and clearly on a mission. I mean….I think they asked him 4 times if he had ever lived in this area before? And apparently shaking his hand was supposed to signify something. If they were trying to hide the truth from Kouichi…well they failed. XD If they were supposed to make him more suspicious of this town well they succeeded WEE!!!

Are you sure Yuno is not down there? Because she might be less than a half by now. XD

Kouichi’s encounter with Mei in the elevator was weird. Maybe Kouichi was just trying to be friendly but I typically don’t like making small talk with people in hospitals. Usually being in a hospital is a bad thing. And clearly Mei was being creepy with going to see her other half with the naked doll. Kouichi didn’t seem too bothered by what she said or where she was going to so he needs to pick up his game if he is going to survive in this town. Now when Mei said her other half was she talking about a twin, the Mei that died 26 years ago, or something completely different? Hmm folks hmm.

Plenty of scenes of the broken down looking school.

Several important things to note in this episode:

While Mei’s desk did look pretty dang old….the rest of the school was looking pretty rundown. Almost like it hasn’t been a real school for a while….

The number of sick and injured people in the class was pretty high. I am assuming Izumi is out with an injury as well.

The classmates kept exchanging looks with each other if Kouichi was not looking directly at them. Like oh crap has he figured it out yet?

The homeroom teacher could have cared less about…anything and anymore. Kouichi didn’t even get a greeting!

I think the bird might have been an important clue. Is Kouichi’s name really Kouichi? Or is the bird correct in what it was saying?

The Aunt was very strict in making sure Kouichi new the rules for this school. Even though it had been over 10 years since she had attended and the fact that many Japanese schools are similar in structure.

Random heart problem kid wanted to go to the school nurses office alone. Another student (Yukari) showed great concern over this fact.

While it is typical that a new student would be shown around campus the way everyone was so adamant about it raised a red flag.

And of course Yukari’s face when Kouichi asks about Mei. I don’t know how to make that face out of symbols though. #__#

Our eyes shifty to the exact same person is not obvious at all.

Now were the students doing a great job keeping a secret from Kouichi? No they weren’t. They could have done a little better with the shifty eyes and the not so obvious questions. However they are just kids. And maybe the adults are leading the parade in the hiding secrets parade from Kouichi (although it does sound like one student is in charge of the secret keeping). So even though teenagers lie all the time they are not necessarily good at it. And it might be hard to lie when someone is running around and hurting all your classmates.

Mei was pretty dang creepy on the roof. Especially after Yukari did her exorcism face. While Mei didn’t give away much (as she is probably the main source of the mystery) she did try and clue Kouichi why everyone was treating him weird. His name is very significant to class 3, a class that has a horrible murder in its past. A name all the classmates fear. And if he knows what is good for him he will stay away from her. Also an interesting point is that Mei did not remember meeting Kouichi in the elevator. I am not sure what that means in terms of…well anything. Since Mei may or may not be the same girl from 26 years ago.

Rei sounds a lot like Mei to me......could Kouichi really be Mei and Mei doesn't really exist? That is why Yukari had a WTF face on because err Kouichi is Mei.

So where do I think this show is going? To crazyville. XD But no seriously I think the entire class is dead. Or Kouichi. The story in the beginning was about someone who was dead but people pretended were alive. The phone kept cutting off with Kouichi was on it, everyone thinks Kouichi has lived here before, and he can “see” Mei where maybe other people can’t. Or the entire town/class is dead due to the poor condition of school and what not. But if they were dead they wouldn’t have injuries or sickness. And if they were all dead who cares if Kouichi was the bringer of death.

In conclusion I am not sure what this show is about. But the art is pretty grand and the music (well not the stupid opening theme song) fits the creepy thing. Maybe they students could have tried to hide the MYSTERY a little better but everyone pulled off looking paranoid well. And a show that keeps you guessing is a good show. So I am happy I picked this show as one of my winter picks. XD Now I got two mystery/ WTF shows to watch.

Well.....at least Mei fits in with the other creepy people in class. Also glad I wasn't born in Japan. Names are SUPER important there.

Puella Magi Kazumi Magica: The Innocent Malice chapter 12: OH SNAP

I know it was just a few days ago that I did a summary on chapters 7 through 12 for Puella Magi Kazumi Magica: The Innocent Malice. I didn’t think this series was going to be one that would require monthly blogging. But then chapter 12 rolled around and OH BOY does it contain a lot of information.

So instead of waiting to summaries a few chapters I figured I blog this recent X__X now while it is fresh in my mind. Just in case more X__X is yet to come I don’t want these small but important details to be forgotten.

So spoilers for Puella Magi Kazumi Magica: The Innocent Malice chapter 12 ya’ll. Things are starting to make sense and HAHA maybe Kazumi isn’t as lovable as Madoka?

Sorry I would be wishing my grandmother all better with ten extra years added onto her life. If that makes me selfish so be it.

Kazumi is still explaining her flashback (within a flashback as the girls are explaining to Now Kazumi the past). Juubey is like become a magical girl and make your grandmother to be healed. Kazumi, despite not knowing the Big Wishes, Big Sorrow Rule, just wishes for her grandmother to be healthy in her remaining days. Now…since we all know the rules of being Magical Girls maybe I shouldn’t be so harsh on this rather……small wish. But come on? Respecting grandma’s wishes for going on when it is her time? You are going to have fight witches and put your life on the line for this wish. At least make it worthwhile. It’s not like grandma was going to know you extended her life….

Grandma does not look good folks. X__X Scary.

But the contract is made and grandma wakes up. Kazumi is like crying the entire day but grandma teaches her how to make all sorts of noms and all the things that Kazumi has been saying this whole manga. That people who waste food are villains and not to give up hope blah blah. The earrings that Kazumi is so fond of are actually her grandmas.

A fun fact about this story is when Kazumi had no memories she asked the Pleiades Saints about what her wish was they said that she never told them. Well when this flashback ends it is clear she told the girls before they made their own contract, even to go as far to ask why she didn’t wish grandma better. So was this a lie or a mistake made by the original author?

Let the record state that all these girls asked to be magical girls and Kazumi didn't know about the witch factor. Maybe.

Mirai (who I might add had a Homura change after her wish based on how she looks in the flashbacks) is the very first person to want to become a magical girl. Mirai is also the one who protected Saki when the familiars were attacking them. Important things to remember for later.

WHY IS YOUR WISH EMBARRASSING?!

Now NONE of the girls were aware of the Big Wishes, Big Sorrow, BIG WITCH rule and yet all of them still made very reasonable and tame wishes. I thought this would have to be the case but no folks. Mirai actually does wish for the teddy bear museum because having friends was all she ever wanted and being with these girls automatically grants this wish. But we still don’t know Nico’s wish and some of the other wishes are lame like a flower blooming forever. Kaoru actually has the most dangerous wish as she wished for someone else but I guess she has managed to get around that tragedy thus far.

There is a bit o comedy the next few pages, as the girls fight the witches together. Kazumi really wants to be like Mami thus she is behind the dramatic naming of their group and their attacks. It has been talked about that all the girls HAVE to fight together because they are weak magical girls. I don’t recall the wish having to deal with your magical girl power, just how much despair AKA witchy power you will have later. I just thought the wish affect your add on abilities. But maybe I am wrong and individually these girls would be in trouble. But this way they aren’t using as much power thus their soul gems don’t get as dirty.

Apparently presents killed Mirai's family.

So crazy moment number 1. Kazumi loses her earrings in battle, the ones her grandmother gave her. They are unable to find them so Saki gifts Kazumi some that look exactly like her grandmothers. And Mirai is SO angry about that. Do you see that angry face in the screenie? Yeah I would be scared too. Like chill dude. You are all friends with each other. In fact YOU wanted to join Kazumi first. So shouldn’t your relationship with Kazumi be stronger? In any event Mirai has the jealous. This explains why Mirai didn’t cry any tears for Nico when they thought she turned into a witch. Only Saki matters.

The fun times end though. Kazumi was supposed to bring Yuuri to meet the other girls. Kazumi was no where to be found in this battle which makes me wonder. But yes the other girls watch in horror as Yuuri turns into a witch and they are forced to kill her.

And she knew she had this power....how?

Then things get strange. When Juubey channels his inner Kyubey and repeats the whole young magical girls are witches no this does not go over well. Umika grabs Juubey and rewrites his memories. With her eyes.
WITH HER EYES FOLKS!

Rewrite my memories? Then why am I still friends with Kyubey?

Even the other girls are like wtf how did you just do that? Is it simply because she wants to be a writer thus can rewrite things in people’s heads? Sounds like a stretch to me. But I would think an intelligent space traveling people like Incubators would be a little harder to mess with. Yet it still happens and that explains all of Juubey’s weird behaviors. They make Juubey unable to make any other contracts and make him heal their soul gems. I see.

However….if you reread manga chapters you can see (well he does have emotions which isn’t a normal Incubator trait) how he looks over the girls acting all weird and cryptic. He straight up lies to Kazumi but did the other girls tell him to do so? I am on the fence about this brainwashing. Is he really brainwashed or is he playing them for a fool to make the ultimate witch ever? Also I question if the Incubators could also heal the soul gems or is this something new that Umika added in.

With this new information it is hard to trust if Kazumi memories are true. After all it was Umika who just GAVE Kazumi all her memories back. Could they be the real deal or are they covering up something else? Another point to ponder but with all the other twists thus far maybe this should be accepted as the truth.

OH SNAP THOUGH! Mirai needs to move on over because there is a new crazy in town. When Kazumi gets her memories back her eyes flash a weird thing…sorta like the symbol for EvilNuts. Satomi, the quiet girl who freaks out a lot…freaks out when this happens. Later she approaches Saki and with the craziest face ever…suggest that they kill Kazumi.

Someone needs some coffee, hold the insanity.

X__X And then the chapter ends on that cliffhanger. Now is Satomi really trying to protect the group from what could be a fake witch? Or is she still pissed that Kazumi “tricked” them into being magical girls? Because when Yuuri turned into a witch Satomi did not handle that news well. None of the girls did but Satomi seemed the most upset. So does she have a grudge against Kazumi or has she taken a train to Crazyville? So interesting. SO INTERESTING.

I am also thinking that the EvilNuts have a huge part to play in this manga. Like is this the way Juubey is getting his witch quota made? Or has some magical girl really created them to hurt other people? And if one of those girls in Pleiades Saints? HMMMM! I guess we will find out some of these answers in about a month. BOO!!

New Year, Same Job, Lots of Crazy

For the past few months I have tried my hardest to be more positive at work. Which is pretty hard to do since it is just my attitude that has changed. Nothing at work has. Same horrible co-workers, same horrible customers. Well I guess the only thing that has changed is I lost one of my days because my co-worker was called out on being lazy. So clearly I was the one who needed to leave, not the guy new to that day. Clearly.

So while I know it is just pizza and it is not the end of the world….I am still an angry pizzeria delivery girl. Yes other people have bigger problems out there but that doesn’t negate the fact that I work with and deal with morons.

Maybe I am just feeling more sensitive because of our family lose last week. Like why can’t people just treat each other with respect? Like how they would want to be treated? People don’t know what troubles others are going through. So when I am feeling crummy because my precious kitty died I really wish people would sit back and not overreact to stupid situations. It is just pizza folks.

I am not invisible. People might think I am with the way they drive but no folks I do actually exist. So is there a reason why twice in one month the same woman has talked about me IN FRONT OF ME but then acted like I was the rude one? I mean…I guess it was nice that she explained her reasoning on why she was never going to tip any of the drivers. Nice in the way that we know she will always act like that and it is nothing that we ever did. But today when said woman went “Oh mom THIS girl is who I was talking about” and then all eyes were on me…yeah I am pretty sure that was really, really uncalled for. X__X What did I do anyway to be THAT girl?

I am on the phone with a customer. Line 2 is on hold. There is a customer at the register. There are three pizzas that need to be cut. So when the other driver walks in and the third line starts ringing what does he do? Calmly puts up his money and goes to the back to do three dishes. Customer at the counter is like @_@ and the woman on the phone asks me why the other line is ringing so loudly. But when the boss man was told of this information he said I should have put the third line on hold. Oh I see.

I was accused of being racist. In my world I tend to call it being busy but I will let you judge. Boss man LEAVES the store for two hours. Two employees are in the back doing “prep” (aka cutting up and doing random crap). One driver is on the road but has LOST his delivery ticket so he has no idea where he is going or how to get a hold of the customer. The other driver is on the road but FORGOT part of his order. The oven person is literally dancing in front of the ovens while practically burning pizzas. Momager is busy trying to train our new AND ONLY pizza maker in the store (like it was hour 6 of him being in the store). So that left me to answer the phones, ring up customers, rearrange the furniture in the store because 20 customers came in at the same time to dine in, cut the pizzas, make salads/breadsticks, and deal with an angry customer on the phone because Driver number 1 (well I am number one but you know XD) didn’t give them all their order and promised to return over an hour ago. So dear customers I was not ignoring you because of your color. I am simply TOO BUSY to keep on asking you how your meal was. I took your order, made sure the stupid oven boy didn’t burn it, and dropped it off at your table saying if you need anything else just ask me. Since you did not ask I sorta just…you know…did the 438973 million other things I just said. But thanks for calling the store and saying I have poor customer service skills. Because the economy isn’t bad enough already with customers lying on me and trying to get me fired.

Dear customer you amuse me. I am afraid of large dogs. Especially your large dog which looks like you treat poorly. Tied to a post with what looked like a cord. So maybe I was slightly startled on how close the dog was to the front door. But that is not the reason why I was standing on the side, away from the dog. The reason I was off in the grass and not directly in front of the door was because your dog took a huge dump in front of the door. So when you were busy laughing at me for being scared of a dog I was busy laughing at you for stepping in dog poo. XD

Please do not call me a liar. You asked me the price of a one topping pizza. I told you. You then proceeded to order what many would consider a supreme pizza (5 toppings and over). When you came to the store you had a fit over the price difference. I appreciation you trying to explain to me the girl on the phone told you a certain price and that I should honor it. Because obviously I wasn’t present for the first conversation. Thanks for jogging my memory. And calling me a liar.

No we do not have French Fries. Or wings. Or whatever you just said-eggplant. Yes I am telling you the truth. I am a liar again? Because you are looking at our website and it says spaghetti and pasta meals? Oh I see. Well we don’t have a website. Never have and probably never will. But now I am lying about us not having a website? Okay then. Why don’t you just come in and pick up your French Fries, antipasto, and whatever the eggplant thing is. Your total is $100. Thank you.

Why yes water is free. Pretty sure by law we have to give tap water out for free. But our water is not brown and fizzy. Pretty sure that is what most people call soda. So why did you tell my boss that we overcharged you for your pizza and two waters when clearly both of you have sodas? And why did my boss believe you and apologize for the mistake and refund your money? Oh yes because this is the Twilight Zone.

When I pick up the phone I don’t want to be screamed at. Just not a fun experience. But let me find out why you are screaming. You want to know where your pizza is. Well according to your order you got a carry-out special. Deliveries tend to have things like addresses, totals, and methods of payments. So…your pizza will be in the store. I say will be because you ordered about 10 minutes ago and it hasn’t made it to the oven yet. So even if it was a delivery we are not magic. Oh now I am a liar because you ordered an hour ago and you gave the person your address. Well according to our phone records you called 10 minutes ago. And while my co-workers are very, very dumb they would not forget an entire address. They might spell it wrong, get the numbers wrong, and not tell you your total but they would never forgot the entire thing. But then boss man came around and issued you a credit for your nonlate pizza. Yay free food!

And all of this happened in one week folks. Like I am trying to have a Happy New Year and this is what I have to deal with. And yes one of my co-workers had a ticket FLY out of his car when he was taking a turn. The same co-worker who got in a car accident and then LEFT the scene of the crime. And yet he is still at work and I am in trouble for….well I don’t know what for. But this is my job folks. I am tired. Le sigh. Good thing I have my anime and manga to escape to. If I didn’t I would probably go crazy…..

Mirai Nikki episode 13: Don't wait up for us dad!

I have three dollars in my wallet. And like negative $300 on my credit card. I am so rich! Yay being an adult. I want money to pay my bills and go shopping but the idea of going to work makes me want to stay in bed all day. Woe to living in the real world.

In other non-related news apparently being a Lego fan is almost as expensive as being an anime fan. And the sad thing is Legos are supposed to be marketed to younger kids, not adults who have jobs. XO What are they thinking making sets that cost so much? Good thing my husband doesn’t have 382973 hobbies like me or we would really be poor.

And no one cares about you because you are not in the closing credits.

But at least for now watching fansubs on the internets is free. XD Sorry anime, I will support your creators in other ways. Promise. Super promise. But it is time for Mirai Nikki episode 13 and all its glory! Spoilers for Yuno acting insane. I KNOW shocking!

FIND THAT BUS DRIVER!

Episode Summary: Yuki and Yuno are taking a bus to visit Yuki’s dad. Or at least I thought so. But before the bus reaches the right stop Yuno decides they are going to get off somewhere else. She runs and gets Yuki a soda and that is the last we see of them for 20 minutes. Akise has stopped by Yuki’s house to warn Yuki that Yuno is crazy. Unfortunately this is episode 13, not one. Akise runs into his old friend Random Cop. Let me go look up random cop’s name real quick since he didn’t die last episode. Ew his name looks weird. Nishijima..runs into Akise. Together they go over Keigo’s notes and learn nothing new. But Nishijima and Akise come to the grand conclusion that Yuki is probably in danger. So Nishijima hooks Akise up with free spa tickets in the area where he thinks Yuki and Yuno are. Akise then recruits Fatherless Hinata, Stabbed Mao, and Dumbass Kousaka on this vacation/rescue mission. Because they are all friends. The girls come on the trip to provide some fan service in the bath scenes. Soon they are told that Yuki and Yuno have gone missing, with Yuki probably being held against his will. Hinata is like OH NO we must rescue him.

You are too stupid to be alive.

The town they think Yuki is in has tons of busted down hotels due to the bad economy. So our four teenagers set to work checking each and every hotel. They manage to limit it down to buildings that have electricity as Yuno would probably request a working toilet in her next hideout spot. Nishijima and Akise also use the information that Yuno’s family used to own a hotel in the area. Even though the boys are attacked by random traps in one hotel Hinata receives a text from Yuki saying he has been kidnapped and needs rescuing right now. She runs off while Mao locates the boys. Akise is like um this is probably a trap. Mao is like no it’s not look Hinata just sent me a text saying she saved Yuki. So off they go into trap land. Kousaka is unable to hold open doors while Akise and Mao investigate a room. They find a doll of Yuki and gas tanks. This will probably not end well. Hinata is tied up somewhere but looks alive. Yuki on the other hand looks really, really, REALLY bad. He is tied to a chair looking starved and drugged out. Princess Yuno is happily sitting there with all the TV monitors. In the chairs next to her are the two skulls she has been carrying all along on this trip. YAY INSANITY! The end!

Oh! So when the internet said that episode 13 was going to be amazing they meant THE END!!! The last 5 seconds. I see folks.

Before that the episode was just okay. Almost boring and special at times.

Love is blind. And stupid. Just listen to the crazy person apparently.

Now I may be wrong but wasn’t Yuki’s grand plan to take Yuno to his dad’s place so they can see the stars? Like that is why he was boo hooing a year ago, that his parents got divorced and they never got to see the stars. Because clearly the stars can only been seen at his dad’s place….okay even me snarking that makes no sense as Yuki went to the same school last year. So really I am not sure why going to Dad’s place to see the stars is so important.

Well Yuki's dad isn't seeing him right now. But at least he is alive right having been spared Yuno? XD

But still. That is where Yuki said he was going right? Let’s go see my dad and the stars? I don’t recall him saying oh let’s just get off the bus when we aren’t supposed to. Not sure WHY he allowed that to happen. The rest of what happened to Yuki can clearly be explained. Yuno poisoned the soda. But why did Yuki allow Yuno to take them off course? Oh right…now he is in love.

Without Akise’s random (or maybe not so random…) questioning if Yuno’s family owned a hotel I would have really been X__X at Yuno wanting to stop in such a random place. I am just going to assume that Yuno and her stalker ways have already researched where Yuki’s dad lives. So Yuno knew in advanced when Yuki suggested that they go see his dad that they were going to pass Hotel De Yuno. And since 5 days have passed since Keigo swirled away into oblivion she had plenty of time to think of her insane plan.

See. This is what I expect from Yuno.

Which is insane by the way. And I am not even talking about the skulls. Because at this point Yuno and her dead parents (right?) don’t really phase me. I did think she was bringing them along to bury them (again…obviously) but putting them in King and Queen chairs doesn’t surprise me. No no folks the crazy I am talking about is the drugging/kidnapping of Yuki. Why Yuno? WHY?!

This not so much.

Because really folks this makes no sense. Yuki has decided to ignore the fake that Yuno is crazy and will allow himself to fall in love with her. After all she has done Yuki has decided that instead of using Yuno as the best bodyguard EVER he will instead give in and admit he has feelings for her. That is what Yuno wanted ALL ALONG. For however long Yuki made that promise to Yuno she has been hoping and waiting for Yuki to return her feelings.

It is hard having a happy ending when the other person is a drooling mess in the corner.

So the second he says he loves her she drugs him and holds him captive in a busted down hotel. WHY?! WHY YUNO?! Is this calculated crazy or pure crazy? It appears whatever Yuno has planned she did not inform young Yuki. But why? The only other Diary User they know now is Minene. And while Yuki has a heart of gold I think he would allow Yuno to kill her. Does Yuno know the other Diary Users and KNOWS Yuki won’t want to fight them? Or has Yuki simply just cracked? Like okay game over time to start our love nest and such? I like my Yuno calculating. This last scene makes me wonder if this is part of some grand plan or did Yuno go to crazy land?

I would suggest Yuno be a girl scout leader but...one is more than enough of her. XD

Not that she wasn’t prepared. Prepared and calculating are obviously two different words in my mind. I am not sure how she KNEW that people were going to look in that town for her and Yuki or how she knew which hotels to booby-trap. But even in her greatest crazy moment she still has enough foresight to think that everyone in the world is her enemy and she better make some gas rooms and killer elevators. Maybe it will be explained later how she knew to get everything ready.

That was my thinking too dear crazypants.

The majority of the episode was dedicated to Hinata, Mao, Akise, and that other dude looking for Yuki and Yuno. To me this was the weakest part of the episode. Maybe even the weakest episode to date. I guess it is the calm before the storm? Still just a little meh for me.

And this sounded like a good idea to everyone because....?

While I know this might be a nitpicky item but….yeah. Hinata your dad died. And Mao you were stabbed. And Kousaka….all these people are INSANE! So why do they all decide to go on a mini vacation with each other and then look for Yuki and Yuno when they all hate each other? Like really folks really. Kousaka shouldn’t be talking to any of these fools, Mao should be hunting Yuno down with a gun, and Hinata should be crying over a grave somewhere. Unless she hates her father which I completely understand. But still folks. What is going on with this happy crap after horrible things happen?

Keigo keeping records of all the crazy events in this town is interesting. Was he keeping records for blackmail or to provide an out for Yuki? HMMM. I guess I am more interested in the fact that Mur Mur speed the game along in the way that she did. Dues doesn’t seem to be doing much in this show does he….wonder who is really calling the shots.

While Random New Cop dude seems to have a good head on his shoulder and had an excellent plan to send out Yuki’s friends (if you could call them that) rather than himself I still question why this urgency to hunt Yuno down. Then again I don’t get Yuno’s urgent need to go into hiding. Maybe everyone else is operating with more information that I am. So we shall see.

That seems like a very random question to ask...

What else with this episode….searching all the old hotels was kinda boring. I am filing information back in my head about Yuno’s family owning a hotel. Did the economy go bad and suddenly mommy and daddy had to take out their suffering on Yuno? Akise should probably sacrifice Kousaka next time he gets a chance because he is so stupid. Oh and Yuno is insane. But everyone already knows that right?

So now folks…NOW! Now things are going to get crazy! We have been promised such things. And so they shall come to use patient people. Because you know how everyone was just sitting around waiting for things to get interesting….X__X.

Shakugan no Shana Season Three episode 13

Tonight was a very trying night at work. Very trying. Is it sad that the newest employee (like today was his second day) was more helpful than almost all the rest of the crew COMBINED?! Yes folks that is how pathetic the people are that I work with. However the customers were no walk in the park either. Demanding to change channels even before they ordered, lying about what was in their cups (really our water looks like Mountain Dew?), and trying to play the race card when really no one likes them because they SUCK! Just a lot of rarw tonight.

But then I came home from work and Kira greeted me warmly. This was especially touching as Kira never does that. It was usually Kiki running to say HI MOMMA GIMMIE FOOD. So to reward Kira I gave her food. XD Even though she should love me for me right?

I know! YujiSnake almost told us something important. That would have been AWFUL!

Any who it is time to blog. And eat this funky Christmas cookie my momma bought me. I feel compelled to eat it so she doesn’t feel bad. But something must be up with this cookie if it is good until May right? But yes. Anime time. Shakugan no Shana Season Three episode 13. Spoilers for snake riding!!!

Granny Panties other name must be Captain Obvious.

Episode Summary: Granny Panties is watching the battle safely from her random castle. She looks up at the sky, sensing something might be happening. MIGHT anyway. Shana and YujiSnake have a stare down…and it’s on to a real fight. This time it is Khamsin that is trying his hand with Sabrac. Because Rebecca has decided to suck this rescue mission. Khamsin is jumping around with his chalk stick talking about how since he is a Flame Haze he must fight. Sabrac is thinking to himself what is the point to this battle and isn’t it all just meaningless? Khamsin is briefly able to use his amazing power but is quickly overpowered by the bored Sabrac. Shana and YujiSnake battle. Some sword play and YujiSnake asking Shana to join him with his Grand Order. But Shana is like TELL ME WHAT IT IS FIRST! YujiSnake claims that Mr. Snake told Yuji everything and Yuji still joined him. Then YujiSnake asks his faithful followers how the outside world has been affected by his return. Basically a magicquake happened with only magical things feeling it. Cue everyone in the outside world “feeling” the affect and acting like it’s either the end of the world or amazing. YujiSnake keeps trying to ask Shana if this is the right thing for her to be doing but this leads nowhere.

Well since they are riding the YujiSnake it leads to Sabrac fighting the other Flame Hazes. YujiSnake’s arrival pretty much squishes the land everyone was standing out. Khamsin and Wilhelmina scramble to save the group while Sabrac drifts away. Rebecca shoots at him and he turns into a glow worm. Instead of accepting rescue from the other baddies Sabrac chooses to die, thinking that being around YujiSnake makes him feel small and insignificant. He thinks back to someone who said they felt the same way around him. After that dramatic moment Granny Panties decides she needs to have one too. She says a prayer and kicks up a lightning bolt towards the gate to crazyland. Fecor (look at that, I found your name!!) uses his “body” as a shield and dies in the process. Shana and YujiSnake decide to stop fighting so YujiSnake can make his magnificent return to the outside world. But not before Shana gives him a kiss and promises to save Yuji. THE END!

Okay folks. I think YujiSnake has reached new levels of annoying. A level I didn’t think was possible. Come walk with me, talk with me.

Well....if you want Shana to be on team YujiSnake maybe you shouldn't conceal things from her.

Since day one Yuki had a plan. Whether or not it is the same plan as Mr. Snakes that has yet to be seen. Well actually…EITHER plan has yet to be seen! It is just Grand Order this and Grand Order that. But the Grand Order has not been explained yet. Someone has hinted to me what it COULD be in the comment section of my blog but for the show itself no answer. Just it shall be folks! Grand Order!

Sure since you have been so forthright with the information!

So….why does YujiSnake keep on insisting that Shana join him? What has YujiSnake done to convince Shana to come on over to his side? Absolutely nothing. And it is starting to make me mad. At the point I am just going to assume that Yuji has something POSITIVE planned. It has only been hinted a million times, if only so slightly. Wants to free Shana from her duties, protect his family, blah blah. At this point Mr. Snake may not be bent on world domination, just protection of his people.

But I just want them/him to shut up! If he is not going to tell Shana what he is planning then BE QUIET! Play the role of the villain. Be the bad guy. Then when the moment comes everyone will go MOG and realize all along you were trying to help them and they will feel bad. Like you were doing this all for us you poor martyr. But no one likes a martyr that keeps talking and talking. Just be quiet! And stop being mad at Shana for not wanting to go along with this stupid plan you haven’t explained yet.

The battle between YujiSnake and Shana wasn’t all that impressive. Probably because neither are trying to kill the other. More like warning blows. But it is nice that YujiSnake’s main people just sat back on the snake and watched the fight. A lot of manners with this group.

I guess she is good at standing around?

Rebecca….I was expecting big things from you. Instead you are running around with a silly laser bream on your wrist. Let the serious people battle while you just play around. Le sigh. She may have landed the death blow on Sabrac but he wanted to die anyway. Does not count.

Khamsin tried to step up game. Not sure why the other two weren’t helping him when he was making progress but maybe they had manners too or something. He was able to make his rock monster briefly but it was more like Play-Doh. He tried at least this week. With his little chalk stick.

Granny Panties….is pretty dang stupid. She is willingly to let countless troops die to protect Shana. Wait hold on….Shana was not on the Yellow Brick Drug Hazed Road yet. She just escaped from Casa de YujiSnake. So really….Granny Panties should have attacked the portal and tried to take out YujiSnake that way. It probably would not have worked but at least I would have more respect for her. Who cares if Shana’s boyfriend was in that portal? We have to protect the whole world! Funny how Granny Panties is thinking slowly and strategically now while countless people are dying and being hurt but she couldn’t do the simple thing like oh TRAP THE BIGGEST BADDIE!

So much embarrassment for you Granny.

So no Granny Panties. I am not impressed with your random….high jump kick to the sky. X__X Seriously that was pretty hilarious. Like Hey God it’s morphin time and she blasts off into the sky. Maybe…maybe next time she could direct all the Flame Hazes to attack the same spot at once? Then there might be a better explosion in the sky? One that would have a higher possibility of destroying the object you are aiming for?

Well I guess Granny Panties has killed TWO people so far. Go Granny.

Not that ANY of that matters as one old dude is the most powerful enemy…ever. Like I was under the impression that Granny Panties was pretty strong. So why couldn’t she overtake that old dude? His spell was protecting the portal and maybe I missed the part where he got a power up or something. Still…very special. Rest in peace old dude.

This would be Sabrac cutting off his own arm so he can die. Okay then!

But the main disappointment this episode came from Sabrac! Last episode he was kicking butt. This episode he was slowly but surely making short work of Wilhelmina, Rebecca, and Khamsin. Maybe eventually they would have overpowered him but….he just gave up. Just gave up man. And he is the person that probably has spoken the most about YujiSnake’s plan without meaning to. All this “I am tired of fighting” and “What are we fighting for?” crap. Yeah there is a lot of meaning there folks. Almost like he is giving it away. More than YujiSnake has anyway.

Well she certainly didn't leave you because you were too quiet.

I think Sabrac was just tired. One wonders why he was even trying to protect YujiSnake. Does he know the real plan? If he knew the real plan why didn’t he take comfort in that? Or was he simply an empty tool? Like his heart was never in this. He was trying to help out the future generation but since he had lost his “special” friend there was no going back for him. So onward to a dramatic death for him.

Just a little dramatic.

What else this episode? I guess YujiSnake and Shana having their goodbye moment was a bit…dramatic. Like we shall continue this later. After all the YujiSnakeQuakes and what not. Not sure why they decide to just stop fighting…..like oh okay it’s the end of the episode now guess we will pick this up later.

But Shana found herself guys. Everything will be okay. Shana feels better about not making a decision and YujiSnake has a plan. A plan he is not telling anyone. YAY!

Shakugan no Shana Season Three episode 12

One of my very best friends in the world brought me a cheer up present to work today. It is a super adorable Hello Kitty plushie. A small gesture to try and make me happy in my little sad world. Thursday morning was pretty tough but I got through all of Friday without crying. Kira I think is slowly understanding that her brother isn’t coming back. :( Tis makes me sad.

I know I was forgetting an anime! I was thinking lala I thought I was more behind on 2011 anime. Maybe I was refreshing the Mirai Nikki page too often and forgot other shows.

Best part of this episode. SO CUTE!!!!

But yes folks episode 13 of Shakugan no Shana is out....so it is time to watch episode 12!!! Wee! With pictures! And a working laptop. 2012 only hates me a little.

Shana is getting sucked into a whirlpool of cotton candy. YUMMY!

Episode Summary: Our small band of Flame Hazes are trying to make it to YujiSnake but the baddie Sabrac is in their way. Everyone allows Shana to escape by distracting Sabrac. Wilhelmina is slightly injured in the process while protecting everyone. Turns out Sabrac’s attacks can cause long lasting affects as he is able to inflict more pain on her later without directly touching her. So now Wilhelmina, Rebecca, and Khamsin must dodge attacks which affects their plans. They find out that Sabrac also has the special ability to put most of himself into the surrounding land and can control the soil and what not. That makes Khamsin’s attacks pretty much useless. It is up to Wilhelmina to do most of the damage. But when attacking Sabrac threatens the “world” they are in the crew has to rethink their plan as they don’t know where YujiSnake is. Eventually they think they destroy his body but it turns out it was a clone body. YAY CLONE BODIES!

I want to be like Shana and make epic speeches too!!!

Outside on the battlefield things are not looking good for the Flame Hazes. Granny Panties quietly drinks tea and eats cupcakes while everyone dies. She thinks that maybe it is time to call in the reserves as they might not make it to retreat mode. YujiSnake and his people having finally made it to where his body is. It a very lackluster ceremony the body is brought back to life. After YujiSnake has a nice evil villain laugh and then everyone hopes on the snake body…and they start riding it. Okay folks. Okay. Shana flies her happy self to the pony riding party. Everyone goes to protect YujiSnake but he is like folks I got this. Shana has a lot to tell YujiSnake. A lot. She talks about how she was split into two and had to figure herself out and blah blah. But now since she knows she loves YujiSnake and can make tough decisions now. Like the decision to beat YujiSnake to a pulp and have him explain himself. She is going to save Yuji and understand what is going on in his head. But Mr. Snake has to be defeated as he will basically destroy the world if he makes it out of The Yellow Brick Road. This is her big change folks and everyone is impressed. YujiSnake is like fine we will battle and maybe I will reveal how I am going to change the world WOOHOO! The end!

Yep. That would be nice to know Shana. But....we won't find out until....I don't know, episode 22? XD

Shana does SO MUCH TALKING!!!! So many words!!!

But before Shana had to bore YujiSnake to death with her lovely speech let’s talk about what happened beforehand.

I really think I should have watched season 1 and season 2 before watching this final season. I have forgotten so much. So so much. Like I just thought this baddie was a random ninja dude. Turns out our heroes have fought him before. Turns out that Sabrac has had a lot to do with the YujiSnake merging. Well I guess maybe not the merging part but with trying to get the Snake back in power. A shame that I have forgotten most of that.

Err who are you again?

But since I forgot about Sabrac watching him fight was new to me! XD Like whoa Sabrac really has a massive body and he has spread himself out through the rocks and land? Pretty cool people. Had me surprised anyway. Not so much the rest of the viewers though. It seems as if Wilhelmina forgot about some of his special talents though. Is Sabrac too powerful? I mean obviously the good guys kicked his butt but in theory he sounds pretty powerful yes? Hiding his body in the land, using a “fake” body to move around in.

I guess taking out Shana after they just rescued her would be kinda silly...

Not sure why our team, Team Flame Haze, were hesitate to take out Sabrac. They hadn’t seen YujiSnake walk by in his new body right? So….maybe taking out Sabrac might have been a good thing? Sure everyone on the path would have died but it they could take out enemy number one well so be it. Take one for the team! But since I am not sure how this path thing works…as Shana has flown over the whole things…maybe that plan wouldn’t have worked.

He looks like a 3rd grader running around with crayons. XD

Wilhelmina was pretty amazing in this episode. The other two just kinda….stood around. Especially Rebecca. She was like shooting with a hand held laser beam like a little kid. I got you bad guy!!! Khamsin wasn’t able to use his awesome spells so he was stuck with a big piece of chalk. So despite being the injured one Wilhelmina did most of the butt kicking with her ribbon.

I have been working on my evil laugh all season!!!

YujiSnake must have went to bad guy cackling school folks. He really stepped up his evil laugh today. The sight of his old body was enough to send him into crazy land. I guess I approve. Laughing crazy is what being a bad guy is all about right?

I thought that maybe there would be more to waking up the Snake body. I really did. But all Hecate had to do was shake her magic stick a few times and POOF. It woke up. I guess there was enough song and dance beforehand that any more mayhem involving the body would be insane.

So…follow me folks. I was under the impression…that Mr. Snake was using Yuji’s body….until he got his body back. That the snake body was just an empty shell waiting for its owner. Now that the owner is back Yuji would poof or gain control of his body and Mr. Snake would resume being a snake.

So why is YujiSnake riding his old body like a pony? Like…did I miss something important? Like the part where this makes sense? How is the body able to move without a soul in it? Is YujiSnake waiting to get outside the Wizard of Oz to hop in his new body? I don’t know folks. But it was amusing to me. Like hurry up little doggie but the little doggie is really YujiSnake. XD

Shana found them because she heard YujiSnake's evil laugh.

But Shana is here now folks. Here to talk to us! And here is what she has to say. Before she was confused, divided it you would. She was torn between her duty as a Flame Haze and the reality of being a woman. But now that she has the strongest unrestricted spell of them all she will win. Shana is here to kick BUTT!

Err.....that is your grand plan?

Or…or folks….she is in love. And will use this love to contain YujiSnake. And not kill him. And figure out what to do from there. THE SAME THING SHE HAD TO DEAL WITH IN EPISODE…err…FOUR! What has Shana learned? How has Shana found peace with herself? To me…nothing has been solved. Nothing. She kept talking and talking and really she is at the same place when she first found out Yuji was YujiSnake.

I must back away from this SHOCKING news. So shocking!

And yet every single person things Shana has changed. So really maybe I am the crazy one for not seeing this. But Shana is being REAL folks. She has a plan. A plan to….beat YujiSnake into submission and tell her his awesome plan. Amazing.

Dude I didn't think Granny Panties could look any older....

Granny Panties and her people were pretty useless today. Like oh lala our troops are in trouble so let’s have a casual conversation about what to do next. Do something strong people.

Err...you said that at the end of the first season. How is this ground breaking? X__X

Puella Magi Kazumi Magica: The Innocent Malice chapters 7-11

So….it turns out my computer is not broken. At all. And it never was. My husband and I are just very, very special. I would tell you what was causing it not to work…but that would reveal just how special my husband and I are. Just rejoice that my laptop is happily on my lap! Also note it costs 78 dollars for Best Buy to ship off your computer to be fixed. Even when there is nothing wrong with it. XD

I am pretty sure this spin off exists just to show boobies.

Also look! Pictures are in this post!!!! I probably should have thought of that….a lot time ago. XD Goober me for not listening to good advice. Hopefully this won’t happen again as I have been taught spreading out one’s pictures really is the best thing to do. YAY PICTURES!

Since I apparently I have time in between anime series (guess I forgot New Year’s Day is a big deal in Japan) I figured I could catch up on some manga posts. This is an Anime, Manga, and Life blog isn’t it yes? So spoilers for Puella Magi Kazumi Magica: The Innocent Malice chapters 7-11.

HMMM! I wonder who's soul gem she/they were going to steal there....

Picking off from where I ended last time our crew is fighting a Soul Gem stealer. This crazy crack head only steals soul gems because they are pretty and they shine bright because of the life they hold inside. Also this crack head has a split personality. Her name is Ayase/Luca. One personality attacks with extreme fire and the other attacks with extreme ice. Oh snap Nico and Kazumi had a bit of problems fighting off this girl while the others took their sweet time getting to the scene.

I thought we were getting our first OH SNAP moment here. :(

I am not sure how I feel about Nico having multiple bodies. I guess that is a perk from her wish…not that I know what her wish really is. Okay I do because I can read. It is to regenerate. But given what her past really was (accidentally using a gun on her friends) I am not sure how that ties in to her wish. The internets say that she might have been paralyzed in the gun accident but she is clearly standing on top of the roof prior to becoming a magical girl. So while that doesn’t apply….I don’t know. I guess this is magic and all the girls can have special powers when need be.

Since you haven't figured it out yet let me spell it out for you!

I think Kazumi was being a little naiive in this episode. Or annoying. They did just kill another magical girl in chapter 6 so why is what Ayase/Luca saying so shocking? That the Pleiades Saints are Magical Girl Hunters? Why would she jump to crazy conclusions when she knows that magical girls SOMETIMES turn into witches? Even without the full information Kazumi was just being over dramatic for no reason this time.

This one has the potential for crazy. XD

Given that the girls didn’t know Ayase/Luca her (their) “death” wasn’t as dramatic. Maybe because Kazumi was busy trying to demand the truth out of them. That and Ayase/Luca was just being evil whereas Airi had a reason for her anger.

The part of the manga (well in this section) that made NO SENSE at all was Nico turning into a witch. But don’t worry folks. She really doesn’t. Ayase/Luca is contained AKA their soul gems are stolen and suddenly Nico collapses on the ground. And turns into a witch. Whom no one wants to kill. Well until Saki gets hurt. Then Mirai goes postal on the Nico wish.

So much for our dramatic moment...

Okay so you know how I said earlier that Nico has multiple bodies? Juubey explains that she can create clones from other objects. Like she can turn a table into her twin. Well folks…THAT is what just turned into a witch. Her clone. Now….last time I checked these were just body clones. Not real clones have a raised from birth and have souls and what not. So how the heck did it turn into a witch? IT WASN’T REAL?! I thought maybe this series was about to get REAL but nope. Just kidding. Nico isn’t dead. It was a clone.

Is Kyubey passing out party bags now or something?

Also something to note is that Ayase/Luca had a case full of evilnuts. I thought that Airi was the one who created them. But since it has not been explained why Airi kidnapped Kazumi when killing her would have been easier maybe it was not her? Maybe neither of these villains so far are responsible for the evil nuts and someone else is handing them out to stop the Pleiades Saints. HMMM I wonder what evil white creature would be capable of that….

So after all that amazingly confusing stuff it is time to show Kazumi the truth. The truth is actually hidden in a stuffed animal museum. I am not sure where Mirai got the money to have such a museum but that is not the point. With a few magical spells Kazumi is taken to the real museum: “Sleeping” magical girls.

Wonder how many girls have gone missing from this city? Hey officials I think I found them all!

Finally Kazumi is told the truth. Not sure how it was a big surprise as she was already told SOME magical girls turn into witches. Now she just knows that every single girl has the potential to go down that road if their magic goes out. I think the reveal was obviously done better in Madoka when it all came at once and there was no question on what your future held. Maybe Kazumi is just slow.

Guns are bad. Missile fingers are awesome!

Then it comes for another great reveal. That all of these girls became magical girls because of Kazumi. Every single girl had a horrible past. Someone accidentally shot herself and her friends when they were younger. Another lost an important person in a car accident. Someone had their work plagiarized. One person had their pet cat die ( :( ). Someone had no friends. Okay maybe that wasn’t as terrible. In any event all the girls got witch kissed and Kazumi saved them. In a super special way. She allowed familiar to nom on them for a bit and was like OH now you want to live?

Sorry the role of Hope Goddess has already been filled.

Well after all that song and dance the girls go back to Kazumi’s place where she makes them Granny’s special meal. Kazumi explains that grandma is dead now. This takes the reader to the sad past of Kazumi. She was studying abroad when she got news that grandma was doing really, really bad. So when she finally makes it to the hospital she is attacked by a witch. Kazumi is not having a good day is she?

Just don't tell Mami about the witch thing....

But Mami saves her yay!!!!!! In my first post I said that there were probably not going to be any crossovers and that the Madoka girls were probably in a different town. That might be true but the towns are very close to each other. Another interesting thing was after Kazumi was saved we see Juubey with Mami, not Kyubey. Is this more of good cop/bad cop? It looked to me that Juubey’s face lit up when he saw Kazumi. Like oh this has potential to be an AWESOME baddie.

Kazumi’s wish…might be lamer than Madoka’s original wish (to save someone’s pet). Kazumi did not know the rules of being a magical girl. That the stronger your wish is the worse your despair will be. So there is no reason for her to wish to be so tame and….well lame. Why not wish for Grandma to get BETTER?! Not just to taste her food one more time.

So many dead girls. X___X

That is just what I am assuming anyway. That is where the current manga chapters end. With Juubey doing his wanna be a magic girl speech. Glad this manga is starting to make more sense but the whole nut thing/kidnapping Kazumi hasn’t been explained yet. But now we can see the real ground work for making the Pleiades Saints the best witch ever!

Update on Bandwidth/Computer Issues

So folks. It turns out I can't read. My bandwidth was not restored on the 5th. Obviously. It turns out it will be restored on the 14th. I am not sure how I used so much bandwidth in half a month but I did. Le sigh.

So while all the pictures that are currently on this blog have been held hostage my husband has made a photobucket account for me to use while I wait this out. Silly me and my end of the year post messing this all up. Hopefully this doesn't happen again because seeing all those angry boxes makes me sad.

As for my laptop....:(. The husband is going to take it to get looked at tomorrow (today actually). If the issue is relatively inexpensive we will have it fixed right then and there. The husband is less optimistic about the matter and thinks we might need a new laptop. At the very earliest we could MAYBE order it in February. Who knows though when we could actually get it.

So for now I am on the SPECIAL computer with no pictures on my blog. X__X Very interesting indeed.

If I moved to Japan....the positives

Okay folks. It is official. The year 2012 hates me. Like 5 seconds after the ball dropped a major family fight happened. A few days ago we had a very sad visit to the vet’s office. And now my laptop is out of commission. Hopefully it only has to do deal with the power cord (as my cat took a flying leap on a Christmas tree and landed on the cord) but seeing how my life is going lately I am thinking the laptop is done for good. Woe is my wallet.

Also I see that my pictures are still not showing up here. :( It said the 5th so I am not sure what is going on. Maybe at midnight tonight it will reset. Either way I apologize for the angry squares all over the place.

I had another blog post almost all ready to go on my laptop but since it won’t START I guess I will go with something new. Yesterday (or earlier today) I posted about how my life would change if I moved to Japan. I mainly focused on the things that might not be as positive, things that would be sad, or things that I would have to get used to. I figured since it wasn’t a HAPPY post (I guess more realistic) I would do a post focusing on the more positive accepts to moving Japan. Bring on the fun.

Moving to a different country where we would be in the minority I think as a couple my husband and I would become closer. Obviously. Well hopefully anyway. We would have just each other at first. My husband is not much of a talker now but maybe his communication skills would improve when we would only have each other to talk to.

If we lived in or near Tokyo I doubt we would ever be bored. I think we could walk down the streets for a year and still not see everything in that giant city. And that is just walking around! With a city as big as that there are sure to be a ton of events and what not happening every week. We could be cultured folks! Of course that also plays into becoming closer as a couple. Going on more dates and what not.

Maybe….just maybe…I would be less of a picky eater? HAHA! At any rate my husband would be happier and would probably have a blast trying and eating new foods. At least I know I like their desserts.

Oh have I mentioned I be in anime mecca!? While I couldn’t read the mangas or watch the animes (well not right away….) I would be closer to merchandise. My lovely nendoroids at no mark-ups. Maybe that could be a job opportunity for me, starting an anime shop? Who knows. But for me my tiny new place would be filled with so many lovelies. And the newest lovelies! Yeah weekend trips to the anime mecca!

And how could I not mention the lovely HELLO KITTY! Puroland would be around the corner. While I wouldn’t go every single weekend it would be a place I would visit several times a year. Just going down the street that Puroland is on would be fun for me. Being so close to Puroland would make me happy.

Now this might sound weird since I do live in Florida but I think we would go to Disney more. XD Because while it is doable to drive to a theme park, go to the theme park, and come back at night..it is not fun. XD Of course the hotels in Orlando are cheaper than the hotels near Tokyo Disney. But my point is we could take a train to Disney and not stay overnight. It is the drive HOME that is the horrible part. You are tired and what not and it is gets hard to see the road. But this way we could just take a train and have a little nap before getting back home. Maybe we could invest in those expensive annual passes so we could visit Disney all the time. XD

My blog would obviously change if I moved to Japan. Or maybe I would start a new one. One that would focus on Japan and my experiences there. Lots of picture taking would occur and I think it would be fun to share my life in a new place. Maybe other people would find it interesting too.

Maybe in a place that doesn’t have jeans around every corner I…might start dressing like a girl? My husband said he would leave me though if I wore thigh high leggings and shorts though. So I couldn’t go that far in my girlness. But saying goodbye to my beloved jeans….

Another HAHA Tenchi is special thing that would change in Japan would be….getting in shape. You got to walk everywhere and battle stairs folks. So much walking. Inevitably I would get in shape without any extra effort.

Not that I am a messy person or I live in utter chaos. But living in a smaller place would mean my house would have to be cleaner. Stuff needs to be in its place. Go shopping, find a place for it. Especially since one has to organize the garbage and what not. Probably should have mentioned the garbage thing in the other post. But I would like to think that being in a smaller space would make me a cleaner person. Hopefully anyway.

I just asked my husband what his favorite part about living in Japan would be. This is his answer. “Living in Japan would be my favorite part about moving to Japan”. Yeah husband…. XD

I think being away from my friends, family, and country might make me appreciate them more. Like the limited time we would have together would mean more. We wouldn’t take our together time for granted. I would see my country differently and think that things aren’t so bad. At least I would see that every place has problems and things aren’t the end of the world.

Maybe without TV at my fingertips 24/7 I would go out and see more of the world. Become an adventurer. Or just become addicted to my laptop. XD

Perhaps being in a new environment would force me to make new friends and become a better person. Being out of my comfort zone would allow me to meet new people and try new things. And encourage me to learn another language.

While moving to Japan would still require a lot of work and effort the positive aspects of the move would be great. Closer with my husband and closer to fun things that I enjoy. And I would become more of an adventure and social butterfly. Someone better get to winning the lottery so we can hop on over to Japan for at least a few years. XD

An important sidenote before I get into this post. I had no idea I was near my bandwidth mainly because I had only a vague idea what bandwidth was. The husband came to my rescue and according to him it should be restored today. Apparently I started my photobucket account on the 5th of whatever month. So sometime today the pictures should come back. I think. X__X Hopefully. Sorry about this though guys.

In case I haven’t mentioned it 239877 times already on my blog last May my husband I went to Japan. We saved for rough 2 years and spent a little over 3 weeks exploring and spending tons of money in the mecca that is anime, manga, and stairs. We had a blast and can’t wait to go back for another vacation.

Since we have been back life has been pretty busy. Running to weddings here, traveling to Otakon and AWA there, and trying to keep up with work and family life. But in the down times when things are just “normal” (you know, just work, eating, and keeping the house) the husband asks me what I think about living in Japan. Not that he immediately plans to pack our house up and move there. But I think he does search job opportunities, has become more serious about learning Japanese (??? X__X), and dreams of what our lives would be like there.

If my husband is going to dream about moving to Japan maybe I should sit down and think about how my life would change if I moved there too? XD Not that I ever think it will happen for a variety of reasons but I guess it is like a game of if I won the lottery.

Wait if I did win the lottery moving to Japan would be easier…..but still there would be issues to overcome and get used as I have grown up in a medium size town in America.

Obviously the first issue I would have to get used to is moving away from my family and friends. Skype would become my savior but that is not the same as going to the movies, shopping, or hanging out in the house with them. I think my mom in particular would be terribly upset. It would just be lonely and a huge change.

I would then have to go through the hard task of making new friends. The friends I have now I have had for years, since high school! If I was in a different culture with a language barrier I am not sure how fast I could make friends. Heck I have problems making friends NOW! I don’t know how well my dry personality would go over there….

Of course one of the biggest issues I might have is the food issue. It is not surprise that I am a picky eater and when I was in Japan I was like WEEE McDonalds 3 minutes from our hotel. Of course we were staying in a hotel and couldn’t cook for ourselves. I do love me some chicken and rice. I would not starve and die. But things like mac and cheese, Froot Loops, Code Red, and tacos would be hard to come by. Other items like butter, cheese, and apples we would be able to get but there would be a heavy price to pay for them.

Along with the food issue would the issue of obtaining items that I have come accustomed to at home. Meaning hygiene products, clothes, and other goods would have to purchased/shipped to us. And I am sure that will come at a high price. Maybe we would come to embrace some Japanese products but let me tell you something. Me and Japanese pads….no. Just no.

I think for the most part I would have to get used to being poor. Either for the reasons above (food and other items costing a lot and rent being high) or for good reasons. Being that close to my lovely nendoroids and Hello Kitty might be detrimental to my wallet. I imagine it would be hard for me to save money. XD I would be happier but it my savings would be zero. Which is what they are at now so I guess nothing will change.

Of course…since space might be a problem maybe I can’t be a shopaholic. Actually where are I going to keep all the stuff I have now? Unless we win the lottery or my husband magically gets an awesome job we might be looking at a smaller place than we have now. I think the size place we have now is perfect and I think 1,200 square feet. But we have many closets that helps hold my many Christmas trees and other lovely items. If we moved there I might have part with some of my lovelies. Can I have a Christmas with only three trees?! And what of my giant bookcases and display cases?

Now this is not true in all cases but it is pretty well known that walls are rather thin in Japan. Why do you think there are so many love hotels? XD Now my main concern with this is I am a late sleeper and a light one as well. People getting up at the crack of dawn might ruin my 235 hour beauty sleep. Of course my husband does get up at the crack of dawn and most of the time I don’t wake up. But he is actively trying to be quiet. Other people might not realize that 8 am is not a suitable wake up time for Tenchi.

If I lived in Japan my sense of time would have to change. Of course I should work on that NOW and not be late. XD But in Japan I probably wouldn’t be able to hop in my own car and control when I get places. I would have to walk everywhere or take trains. So I would have to plan accordingly and make sure I had some cushion time. Things like weather conditions, time of day, number of people on the trains, and actually waiting for the train would have to be taken into account. I would be forced to be on time!!!!

We were stared at quite a bit of vacation. Almost everyone single person was nice and or tried to practice English around us. But while most of this staring was nice I am it would get old after a while. Little kids with their huge MOG eyes or people not wanting to sit with us on the train. It might feel as if we were constantly being judged and I don’t want to be a poster child for foreigners. While some of the attention might be positive it would be something to get used to. Because here in America I can fly under the radar since I am only half Mexican. XD

Finding an apartment/house in Japan is different when you are a foreigner. I don’t have rose colored glasses on. Japanese people are just as capable of racism and stereotyping as Americans or anyone else for that matter. So not only would we have a language barrier problem when looking for a place we would not be shown a great number of places due to being foreigners.

Also I do have my cat (only one now :( ) to think about. Many places do not take animals and taking an animal to another country is a pain. And there is no way I would ever EVER leave her behind. So we would have to deal with apartments that don’t accept foreigners AND pets. Poor Kira. I love you baby!!!

Another….funny thing that is probably only Tenchi specific is I would have to get used to SEASONS. I live in Florida and right now it is cold! COLD FOLKS. And I am miserable. I am use to hot weather and some rainy days. I don’t deal well with CRISP weather, cold weather, and freezing weather. XD Guess I would have to man up.

Another silly point to mention is my sad TV habits. I kinda watch a lot of TV…a lot. And most of them are special reality show type deals. I am not sure how easy it would be to watch these programs on the internet. Oh and my anime. XD Seeing how I don’t speak Japanese I would probably still near to rely on the internets for my anime needs despite being IN the land of anime.

I think that is plenty of reasons for now. I am in no way saying that Japan is inferior or not a nice place to live. I am just being realistic about what life would be like in Japan. Maybe in the near future I will do a HAPPY if I moved to Japan post. Also to note I am a person who hates change. XD I probably wouldn’t like it if we had to move to another state.

Japan is a lovely place to visit but would require a lot of work and money to move and live there.

Earlier today me and my husband had to make the tough decision to put down our oldest cat. He lost a lot of weight suddenly and today he didn't want to eat or drink at all, not even when I gave him his favorite treats. We thought it was a thyroid problem but in addition to that it turned out he had a large tumor near and in his liver.

Kiki last Christmas. Much joy with string and ribbon.

Obviously this is a very sad and trying time. Kiki wasn't featured very much on this blog. His sister Kira was more of the in your face give me LOVE kind of cat. But I had Kiki for 16 years. I had him before I knew my husband whom I've known forever. Just....there is a very big hole in our family right now.

Love you Kiki. You were a giant pain in the butt....but you were my giant pain in the butt.

Codename Sailor V Manga Review

When it was announced earlier this year that the Sailor Moon mangas were going to be re-released in the United States fans everywhere cheered. Probably my baby momma friend the most. As for me I have all original 18 mangas (some in pretty….LOVED condition) as Sailor Moon was the very first manga I collected. I was interested in how the translations would go this time around as some of the words used in the original were a bit iffy. I thought they used way too many American references and what not.

No for me the real excitement was the FIRST release of the manga Codename Sailor V! Which makes absolutely no sense as Codename Sailor V was released first in Japan (but had such a slow release date finished after Sailor Moon). I have no idea why it took so long to get over to our side of the world. I am sure it had something to do with legal matters and blah blah. In any event I was so happy to finally have a chance to own Codename Sailor V.

Why didn't you just read me on the internet crazy!?

Despite the fact that NO ONE had this manga discounted at Anime Weekend Atlanta I picked up a copy. Can’t remember the last time I paid full price for a manga at that point. The second my husband passed out on that Friday I read that manga cover to cover. I didn’t get the second (and last) manga until the day after Christmas. Was trying to limit my purchases down in the spirit of giving. But finally I had a chance to sit down and read the second volume after everyone passed out from nonstop shopping. Here is my review on this SHORT series.

It's easier to be a magical girl when you have a team. Well when you are not sharing Grief Seeds and what not.

Perhaps I am just biased but I feel as if it was easier to read this series because I already read Sailor Moon. I think I would have felt a little lost picking up Codename Sailor V without any Sailor Moon background. Which is sorta special because the two mangas start off relatively the same. Girl describes her daily life, finds a talking cat, and morphs into a super hero. I don’t know, I felt as if Sailor Moon had more direction where Sailor Venus was taking orders from Artemis who was taking orders from someone HE DIDN’T KNOW.

Serena is that you?

I had a major problem with Mina in the anime series. She started off as the most serious Sailor Scout and towards the end she was the worst one. Serena became a more serious scout than her which I didn’t think was possible. It just came out of nowhere and slowly progressed into crazy. But now in the manga we can see that she was pretty much a boy loving, idol hunting, slightly self centered girl from the start. To me that makes more sense to have Mina start off as that person and then have two sides to her the entire rest of the time.

Artemis doesn’t seem as put together as Luna. But that also means he isn’t as rude or harsh as Luna was. He wasn’t operating with all the information at hand so it seemed pretty…weird he was able to lead a person into battle. But it seems he had just as hard of a job except that Mina was a good student whereas Serena was pretty sad.

Whatever comes to mind scream it and it is an attack!

I think that having a different attack every single battle was a bit much. It made the battle almost comical. Like oh you are the ice cream monster? Well it is whipped cream attack time! A little special at times. I think I would have preferred her attacks to do more with her growth as Sailor Venus than some sense of humor thing.

While you're at it pick up that garbage too!

I do like and understand now why Sailor V was so popular in the Sailor Moon universe. She wasn’t just a serious super hero. She was more of a help granny across the street and rescue cats from trees type of person. That makes her a more relateable person as Sailor Moon usually would go around and help people once they were brainwashed and unconscious. So Sailor V is like the cops only she wears a super cute uniform.

This is in the middle of the IMPORTANT battle at the end of the series. Like wtf?!

I felt as if this manga never got serious. Towards the end I suppose Mina GOT IT 3 pages before the story ended but even then there was a comical moment thrown in. Like oh Mina is fighting the main bad guy but let’s have a silly scene with her being boy crazy thrown in. I mean….if things were serious all the time that wouldn’t be much fun. But I never got a sense of urgency with Mina. Not even a bit of sadness when she was told that she would never be able to love anyone due to her duties. I just wish there was of a serious Mina.

The crane machine levels of the game places are fun though!

I did like the random cameos the girls made throughout the series. I wonder if these cameos were mainly done AFTER the Sailor Moon manga so people could go MOG there is Serena and what not. Otherwise things might not make much sense.

What he goes to both schools or something?

I know that Codename Sailor V came out first….but goodness gracious. Why do two of Mina’s friends look exactly like Serena’s friends? The best girlfriend looks like Amy and the nerd friend looks like…well the nerd friend. No variety at all. To me that is a bit lazy. Actually a lot lazy and boring. And confusing. Le sigh.

A lot of other people have complained about the rushed translations and inconsistent word choices. Like they would flip flop from Japanese type terms to more American terms. It probably would have been best to stick with one way of writing things but overall that didn’t hurt my reading of the manga.

I sensed the cop could have brought more to the story than she did.

I guess my biggest problem with the manga was it was entirely too short! Due to the huge volumes it reduced the number from 3 to 2 but still…still! 3 mangas would not be enough either. Maybe had there been more we could have seen more growth in Mina. Have her hunt down the Sailor Scouts and what not. Instead it just seemed to end very abruptly. Too many chapters were based on the animal monsters that had nothing to do with the story which could have opened up more pages for the cops stuff.

So I guess the manga was a success if I wish there was more volumes to it. Yes I do think it could have been stronger and maybe Mina didn’t have to be so crazy. But I see these two volumes as being very complimentary to the Sailor Moon volumes. Not as strong but a nice addition. I enjoyed both the volumes and would recommend them to any major Sailor Moon fan. It took long enough but we finally got them guys!

Kimi to Boku episode 13

Happy New Year plus one day!!! Has 2012 been amazing for you yet? I hope so because it is has only been one day so far and people probably spent most of it sleeping. XD I know I did. I can’t believe how late everyone stayed up…..

But even though it is 2012 I still got 2011 animes to post about! I was hoping I was going to hit 365 posts last year but due to me having a social life I guess that was a silly goal. I nearly did it though! Just Christmas put me and my wallet behind. But in my new DEEP BREATH blog when I have time frame of mind it will be okay.

Last episode?! But I have so many more juice boxes to drink!

Kimi to Boku episode 13. Last episode of this season. Let’s blog this!

Episode Summary: Chizuru gets his usual drink of choice from the magical vending machine. This is too much for the twins to handle as he should be experimenting with different drinks. While Kaname talks about how stupid this all is Shun runs up. Apparently they have to a work study thingy at their school and Shun has arrived with the list. On the paper is their old nursery school. The boys decide to go there maybe in part to embarrass Kaname. Kaname threatens everyone to keep the Kaori thing under wrap from Chizuru or he will kill them. They arrive at the school and right away a kid starts throwing rocks at them and beating them with an umbrella. Shun gets his hair caught in a tree and the kid stops his rampage to help Shun the GIRL out. Kaori eventually comes out and says OH HI BOYS thanks for coming to help me. She introduces the boys to all the kids and leaves them alone as she skips out of the room. All the girls fall in love with the boys except Kaname who is tortured over his glasses.

Shun...did something wrong? Write this down folks!

Kaname ends up playing house with one of the twins (err….probably Yuki) and hates it the entire time. Chizuru eventually joins in and tries to bring the trouble maker (named Ken) into the game. But Ken clearly likes the little girl in question and is jealous the twin is getting the connection. He makes a mess of the game and runs off. The high school boys hide out in the bathroom because working with kids is pretty hard. Later they are rounded up to eat snacks with the kids. Ken tries to make things better with the little girl he likes but the rest of the class picks on him. He steals ALL the cookies of the world and runs off. Kaname runs after him despite kicking him in the balls. Kaname helps Ken calm down and realizes that he is a nice kid deep down. Kaname helps Ken make up with this little friend. Later when the boys are leaving Ken repays the favor by pushing Kaori into Kaname. Ken wants Kaname to be his big brother so everyone says AWWWW. Shun jokes about it on the way home and also lets it slip that Kaname had a crush on Kaori. Shun’s life is in danger, the twins are making fun of the situation, and Chizuru is cackling like a crazy person. All is well in the world THE END!

So apparently I have been VERY CONFUSED the whole time. I thought the person who came to the school festival was the one Kaname had a crush on. That it was the older sister of the neighbor friend girl. I did think she LOOKED young but I guess in my head she could still be…..28? 28 being the minimum age should could have been.

Err....I see it? Okay not really....

But no. I guess that girl just REMINDED her on Kaori. I guess that picture was just to confuse me. Greatly. And it worked. But when Kaori came on the screen I thought….OH X___X. She hasn’t aged very well in 10 years has she? XD That was kinda mean wasn’t it? I am sure she just looks worn around the edges because she works with kids all day. And her haircut was unfortunate.

So much confidence in the untrained youth....

I think it was weird that the kindergarten allowed 5 guys to come in and “help”. Actually I think it was weird the guys wanted to do it. X__X Just seems like a lot of work to do (for them) and I would think that the job places would have to be something in the field they were interested in. I am not saying that guys aren’t capable of watching children. Just that normally teenage boys lack the experience to deal with children and these boys can’t even watch a TV show without getting bored.

So I guess I was surprised that they were excited about going back to their old Kindergarten. They didn’t strike me as the sentimental type. Or maybe they really thought watching kids was going to be an easy way to complete the project. Who knows.

Dude you are 5 minutes too early with the tears.

Chizuru having a pout attack was sorta humorous. Because while he was justified in feeling left out….I don’t think the guys were leaving him out yet. X__X I mean I bet they could have gone on and on but they just started talking. I can see Chizuru being all over dramatic but he was a bit premature with his pouting.

Where are the teachers?!

What kind of daycare were they running anyway? The boys get there and NO ONE is watching the kids outside? I has been to Japan and from what I can see things are pretty….well overboard in safety. No pictures are allowed to be taken anywhere near the school and they are locked up like jails. No no our boys just walk on in and the kids are running around with rocks and crap. Get yo money back parents. Robots would be better!

In terms of the kids….X___X so special. Of course I was the most well behaved kid ever so all other kids in the world seem pretty much insane. XD But is it typical for kids to fall in love at first sight with such older people? Crazy kids.

I'm just misunderstood! Plus I have cookies!

Ken was pretty much a brat. But I guess he had some endearing qualities to him. I think he might have been rough around the edges and the other kids took advantage of that and blamed him for everything. Like it was clear Ken saving all his cookies to give to the little girl but NOOOO since he was a brat in some other ways he obviously stole the cookies. Not sure what was with his umbrella crazy moment earlier in the show but he was jealous when his girl was in love with all the older boys. Easy to understand but since he is 5 that makes sense.

Look at Kaname being responsible.

Kaname being the reluctant big brother was slightly touching. I think. He has been acting like that the entire show. All of them have. They act like they don’t care about each other but in the end they will help each other out and support each other. So Kaname is telling the kid he is a brat while trying to help him. Typical boy behavior.

AWWWW! Just what happened to Kaname so many years ago.

In the end this episode tried to tie in the past with the present while giving Kaname a headache. The boys have fond memories of the past, can see themselves in the younger generation, and that they have a bright future ahead for them all. Or maybe I am being too flowery. The twins were being lazy, Chizuru found people he connected with on an intellectual level, Shun was being…responsible, and Kaname hates his life. So a pretty typical episode? XD

I will miss the cats though!

There is going to be a season two of this series. I guess this show was okay. A lot of people thought it was grand. I am not trying to be sexist or anything. I actually wanted this show to be great so I could say SEE cute boys doing cute things too! But I guess I was having a hard time understanding how boys deal with friendships. Le sigh. We shall see if I stick around for a season two.

2011 Anime Highs and Lows Tenchi Style!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!

This post was supposed to be up yesterday before midnight. Yeah. XD I thought I had started the post in mid-December but apparently all I did was write the topics out on a Word document. GO ME! Between the FUN and the drama (Already folks?! GOSH) last night I didn’t have time to finish. And then I woke up at like 2 pm today. So…here is the post now.

While there were lots of amazing moments this year in anime I tried to limit it down to my top moments and my low moments. Things that I really liked and things that I wish I could blast off to the moon. There are tons of spoilers in this post so beware!

How can you not laugh at this?!

Funniest Moment: All Uglies eating everyone in town via corn on the cob and blenders.(Blood-C)

There were actually a ton of moments to choose from. There were many comedy shows that I watched and plenty of scenes from serious shows that had crazy moments. Especially Mirai Nikki with Minene’s WTF faces and Rider from Fate/Zero with his quest for a shirt.

So I thought I would pick something that actually made me laugh. Like mog I had to stop the computer so I could take a moment. And that would be episode 12 of Blood-C. Saya spent the entire series trying to save people and failed so speculararly in the end. Every single person minus TWO died. The writers pulled out all the stops too. Like nope we aren’t just going to cap people in the heads. We are going to turn them into fun little snacks, we are going to spray the town with bullets, we are going to run them over with cars, and we are going to eat them like corn on the cob. Corn on the COB people. Add in the fact we couldn’t even SEE any of this and it was the funniest thing I saw all year. Amazing.

:( Just so sad.

Saddest Moment: Nezumi crying over the fact Sion turned into a monster (No. 6).

I probably could have said….everything in Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica. But that would probably be too easy. Although I was pretty upset when Mami died. But it happened so fast it was more like X___X than :(. But when Nezumi, the biggest badass in the entire series was on the floor crying that his (love) friend had been changed by all the violence around him it touched me. Of course it was upsetting when when Sion “died” but I think Nezumi was more like whatever at that point. So yes Nezumi crying was my saddest moment this year.

Well of course that is the logical conclusion!

Best Twist: Everything that came out of Kyubey’s mouth in Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica.

I think the BIGGEST twist was that magical girls were really witches in training. Magical girl shows usually have the cute girls battling the baddies not BECOMING the baddies. It was such a turning point in a show that already had a X__X moment with Mami dying and the revelation that the girls were walking zombies. Of course the twist that Homura MADE Madoka the biggest witch ever was a pretty good twist. Basically the entire show okay!!!

Worst Twist: The entire plot of Blood-C.

Okay maybe that was a little harsh. I was slightly surprised that Shinichiro was the asshole and not Itsuki. The entire town tricking Saya was the only twist for me. It was OBVIOUS that Fumito was the one behind the scenes. It was OBVIOUS that Saya was Queen of the Uglies. It was OBVIOUS that her dad was not really her dad. And it was OBVIOUS that this show was trying too hard to be something great and amazing when it wasn’t. And it was OBVIOUS this show only existed to make money off the movie. And it is obvious it will fail at that.

Favorite Opening Theme Song: Kuso Mesorogiwi" by Yousei Teikoku (Mirai Nikki)

The Engrish in this song is so unrecognizable I was shocked when I read the lyrics. I guess I just made up my own lyrics in my head that made more sense. But putting that aside this song is pretty amazing. I can just imagine in my head Yuno being so crazy and running around slashing people. Oppies was that spoilery? XD It just seemed to bounce all over the place and I enjoyed the ride.

Close second would be Spiral by Dustz (Blood-C). Not only did this song have Engrish but it had random pieces of French. It really made the series worth watching because of the kick ass song. A song that Saya did not deserve. XD A great battle song for a series that was mostly about singing and birds.

Favorite Closing Theme Song: Blood-teller by Faylan (Mirai Nikki)

I think I have listened to this song about 438924374 times and it has only been available since the end of November. Sometimes I get a little obsessed with things I like… Usually I find Closing Songs to be way too slow for my taste. This one though really has quite an interesting beat and a sad tone to it. Especially given the tone of the show. I end up feeling bad for a bunch of killers after hearing this song. It just makes me happy hearing this song. Very powerful.

A very VERY close second would be Magia by Kalafina (Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica). Like a super close second. I have listened to this song about a million times too and I love it. I also love all the different versions of this song that float around on youtube. I like how this song had to be hidden before episode 3 because HAHA it was a bit of a Debbie downer. But I really loved this song.

Favorite Female Character: Mami from Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica

If this category was most badass female character the answer might be Homura or Yuno from Mirai Nikki. But it’s not. This is my favorite character category. Or maybe in my mind it is the prettiest. Despite the fact Mami was dead by episode 3 and only seen briefly in episodes 10 and 12…I still love her. The husband questions my love for Mami after seeing the series himself as well. I guess I can’t explain it. Love her outfit, love her hair design, and love how she had such an attitude with Homura. She was WRONG but given what she knew it was the correct response. She shown Sayaka and Madoka how to be “heroes” while telling the how rough it was going to be. She didn’t sugar coat things but revealed such a vulnerable side when she asked Madoka to be her partner. She was shown to be a good teacher in episode 10 yet when things got bad she went INSANE and lost her mind. She was fun to watch and I love seeing people cosplay her.

Least Favorite Female Character: Saya from Blood-C

I think this is pretty much self-explanatory if one has seen this series. Saya spent the first 10 episodes of the series singing lame ass songs about flowers, rain drops, and cracks in the cement. Even after every single one of her classmates were brutally killed she still finds amazing things to sing about. She was happy to have her coffee and blood candy. Then TADA she is revealed her past and suddenly she is a badass. No, not buying it. Oh and badass Saya doesn’t make much sense either. She feeds on The Uglies but was trying to save them? She wants to eat humans but wants to save them too? Just no folks. Add in the fact that Saya saved one person (who probably died later in the last episode) out of an ENTIRE TOWN and she was pretty much useless. Useless useless.

You do realize this is a 2010 anime right?

Favorite Male Character: Errr….Saito from Hakuouki Hekketsuroku

I really had to go back through my blog and read all the shows I watched this year to come up with an answer. XD Good thing I watched this show or I would have NO ONE! But in this one show I had a few male characters I liked. Actually there were only a few male characters I didn’t like and hated Chizuru. XD

But yes. Saito is hot. And he lived. XD He kept a cool head and when he had adorkable moments they were amazing. And he didn’t love Chizuru. So…yeah I liked him.

Least Favorite Male Character: Kyouhei from Kamisama Dolls

This one was rather easy for me. Now….animes are often filled with “weak” boys who don’t do anything yet the girls still seem to flock to them. Yuki from Mirai Nikki and Shu from Guilty Crown comes to mind. HOWEVER Kyouhei actually could do something! He came from a position of power and at one point had a device TO change things. Yet he did nothing and crap spiraled downhill. Then he spent the rest of the series going WOE IS ME. Yeah right. You washed your hands of everything and didn’t lift a finger to help. Your baby sister was more of a help running into buildings and what not.

Favorite Couple: Sion and Nezumi from No. 6

What no Fai and Kurogane? XD I kid I kid. Yes I did pick a yaoi couple. But these two young men brought something new to the table. Maybe it is because they aren’t EXACTLY a couple despite the fact they kissed each other like three times (well I think the light novel was a bit more obvious in the love but you know). But nothing was flowery or over the top. It was just the gradual coming together of two people despite their genders. And I think that reached more people than a straight yaoi show would. Now I know some people on the internets were like WOOHOO cool show except the “gay” stuff (their words not mind) but maybe this show opened someone’s mind and showed people that HEY gay people are just like straight people and it is natural.

I am pretty sure Yoshino is insane for saying this.

Least Favorite Couple: Hatori and Yoshino from Sekai Ichi Hatsukoi

Like……where do I begin? First of all….yeah 10 of liking someone and not saying anything is stalkerish. STALKER! The main couple in this show loved each other for 10 years BUT DIDN’T SEE EACH OTHER! That is different. But this is just weird. Weird folks. How can you see someone every single day and devote your career to helping the person you love and NOT say anything?

Then Yoshino has the IQ of a gingerbread cookie. After people say that they are in love with him he is like oh this is just a joke right? Yeah it is Mr. Unobvious.
And then once they became a couple they were boring, never spent any time together, and had stupid misunderstandings that went on for way too long. Too much of this series was devoted to their stupidity and I did not appreciate this.

Obvious turning point of this show....

Favorite Series: Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica

I think people either love this show with all their hearts or think it is merely okay and way too hyped. Obviously I am from the first camp. While I understand WHY there was a delay in the last two episodes it was hard to wait for them. On pins and needles. And I almost didn’t watch the show. I was like….oh I guess I need a little fluff show to fill my time. And the monsters were so….interesting in the first episode I was like OH BOY! But then this show slowly changed from a happy magical girl show to a down right dark future with death all over the place. And all the twists folks!! X____X While this show was not perfect I think it was pretty dang close.

Least Favorite Series: Kamisama Dolls

Like…..I don’t even know where to begin with this show. Maybe with the fact that it hasn’t been picked up for a second season and not be for a while. The way they left the show it would NEED a second season to make sense and if that doesn’t happen it was just one giant waste of time. Like nothing really got accomplished if that is the case.

Second the main character was obviously annoying and useless. We had some lead girl who had the grossest boobs in the world. The person that everyone was supposed to hate was pretty dang likeable (except for killing that random dude in the first episode….). And when every single adult is pretty much trash…yeah..it was hard to find things likeable about this show.

And it sounded interesting to begin with. I guess I was just disappointed because people were excited about this show and I wanted to be excited. Then I didn’t realize why everyone else was excited. Just bleh.

And I think that is about it! My highs and lows for the 2011 animes season! Will 2012 bring some amazing shows or just a bunch of bleh ones? Will I ever catch up on blogging? Will my grammar ever improve? Here is to 2012! XD

Goodbye 2011 Hello 2012!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!

Today is the start of a new year. All across the globe people are celebrating the passing of 2011 and vowing that 2012 will be a GREAT BIG BEAUTIFUL TOMORROW! Hopefully everyone is partying in safe ways and are having a blast while doing so!

Happy New Year one and all!

2011 has been full of a lot of ups and few downs for me. I had a lot of trips this year. A lot. Quite frankly I am not sure how my wallet survived. Anime Weekend Atlanta, Otakon, Halloween Disney Party, Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios, Sea World, Pokemon Mall Tour, and of course JAPAN!!!!! There were also a few weddings that I attended/was in this year. I guess that made the year go by so fast as each month I was looking forward to the next big event.

While I had a lot of fun this year there were some downs. There were some major disagreements that occurred among my family members and friends. One in particular resulted in me blocking this person from all social media outlets. That might sound pretty minor but this person offended me so badly I had to cut off all contact. Add in the fact that my momager is STILL trying to get a divorce, my brother moved far away, and my other brother moved off to college 2 hours away and our family is a little spread out at this point.

Oh and I still work at Mike’s Pizzeria. Yeah.

But there were some happy/surprising moments this year. While many people (including two close friends) lost their jobs I still had a place to make money at. My cat who is pushing dinosaur status is still alive. And eat styrofoam apparently. While flying REALLY kicked my butt I didn’t get as sick as often as I did in 2010. And I didn’t get in a car accident this year while every single one of my fellow delivery drivers did (although I did bump a car in the parking lot…).

Oh and I went to Japan. I know people are probably sick of hearing about this and it might be sorta….special to mention it as Japan went through HORRIBLE things this year…but it was the highlight of my year. I had such a great time and hopefully my little tourism dollars helped a bit. Maybe me singing Japan’s praises from the roof top touched someone and helped people realize it is safe to visit Japan. And spends boatloads of cash.

Hope that 2012 has a year of great animes!

So what is coming for 2012? Probably not as many trips. Well I guess that is not true as we will probably go to two anime conventions (Anime Weekend Atlanta and Anime Festival Orlando) and we do have tickets for LegoLand. But maybe not as much flying. Way too much flying in 2011. My days have been cut back at work (-____-) from 5 days to 4 so maybe I will have more time to spend with my friends. And of course blogging. XD Blogging is still fun and fulfilling to me so I plan on continuing for the year 2012.

What are my goals for 2012? Maybe not to be so set to a schedule. I tend to get a little stressed when I am behind on anime posts (as you can see I still have some catching up to do…). Blogging is supposed to be fun so I should just roll with the punches and blog things when I have time. So when things come up in life I won’t think NOOO I had a plan for today. Most of the things I want to accomplish can wait until tomorrow, like cleaning, blogging, ect. When things come up I should just embrace them and be more flexible.

I also need to start reading all those mangas I have in my computer room. X__X Can’t really buy more when I have 2392392 still to get through.

I am going to TRY and work on my attitude, especially at work. Maybe I should just accept the stupidity that I am surrounded by…..Take a deep breath and realize that it is just pizza. That I should be grateful NOT to be my co-workers. Smile more.

Other than that I think I am just going to keep on doing what I am doing now. Maybe let things slide a little more in regards to my family. NO MORE ANGER. But I plan on still being me, having fun, collecting Hello Kitty, and blogging.

I hope that everyone has a positive and productive 2012. I hope the job market improves for everyone, that everyone remains healthy, and that we all co-exist better as we share this planet all. HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Fate/Zero episode 13: The Giant and the Crazy

XO I woke up at the crack of dawn because my cat ate through a box to get some food. Like he is a wild animal that has never been fed before. X__X He is such a crazy animal. Guess he wanted to end the new year with a bang. Just let me sleep next time.

I has lots to do before I go to my shorten work day. Stay away from the online games! I got things to blog, stuff to clean, and fun to have. Wait online games are fun…..XD

Oh snap Rider likes to waste time with video games too!

Up now is the last episode (for now) of Fate Zero. XO Time just flew by right? Spoilers for crazy people acting crazy and a lot of talking. A LOT!

WHERE ARE ALL MY DEAD CHILDREN?!?!?!?

Episode Summary: Rider is looking out and the ocean and having a moment….back when he was alive. Waver wakes up and realizes he saw part of Rider’s past. He decides that they are going into town for a change of pace. Caster and Ryuu return back to their lair to find that Rider has trashed the place. Ryuu seriously has a meltdown and cries that his masterpieces have been destroyed. Didn’t they see the beauty in his creations? Caster says this is proof that God doesn’t exist and humanity is evil and blah blah. Ryuu takes a moment to dry his tears and talk about why he believes in God. Basically he thinks God is a puppet master and likes everything human does, whether it be people helping other people or making blood paintings with young children. Caster, who originally was upset no one ever punished him for his horrible crimes, has renewed faith thanks to Ryuu’s crazy words. They decide to make a better work of art and show God how insane…passionate they really are.

So Caster kept on doing bad things because he wasn't punished. I see.

Waver has made it to a library and wants to research Rider’s past. He finds a book and tries to read up on Rider. Rider returns from his shopping where he has bought a video game. Rider finds out that Waver wanted to know about him and says dude just ask me. On the way back home Waver expresses how unhappy he is with this partnership. That he wanted to win on his own, not on Rider’s coattails. Rider expresses how he feels inside, both saying that Waver is a strong person and that he is a weak person. That maybe they are a better match then he thinks. Before there can be a moment Rider and Saber sense something bad is happening in the river nearby. Caster has decided to show Ryuu something amazing. This amazing thing is Caster turning himself into a tentacle monster. Rider and Saber agree to have a brief alliance to take out Caster. Lance also shows up because he is hot. They go in for the kill and…THE END!

I…what? Where is my action? Where are the fights? WHY IS EVERYONE TALKING?!

First off Ryuu and Caster are beyond crazy. I think that is obvious to everyone watching this show. But they take it to a different level in this episode. A level where I fear leaving my house as people like this might really exist. Case in point is Ryuu being upset his wall drawings (AKA dead kids) were destroyed. THOSE people are not human, not the person cutting up kids to use as art tools.

:( Poor Ryuu. Life is so not fair.

But then Ryuu kills the driver of the crazy train, drives to Insanity, and becomes president of WTF. He manages to convince another crazy person that God HAS to exist because crazy things in this world happen. Like people growing up to be serial killers. Or flowers. Flowers or dead people. It is all the same as long as you can find entertainment value in it. Also God likes humans because why else would he give them free will and write the script to their lives at the same time!

I am going to be honest it was hard to follow just what these crazy people were talking about. And I feel like that cop in the last SAW movie, the one who said crazy about 4983439 times. Because that is how I felt after watching this scene. Also why the heck are these two getting so much screen time when one Master/Servant Team have been on the screen for like 5 minutes in the last 13 episodes. Oh because they actually have a good reason to in this War? Then carry on child killer.

I think God would like to have a word with you.

I am not sure what Caster believes but he is deeply moved by Ryuu’s words. Which means they deserve each other. Usually this means YAY yaoi pairing in my world but I typically like both of my pairings to resemble humans. Caster is looking a little too fish like for my taste. So while Caster and Ryuu have rationalized why it is okay to be serial killers and do it for God I am sitting here thinking…where is Saber?

Just lala walking around during a war.

So while Caster and Ryuu promise to rebuild their House of Blood Waver decides that he needs to spend some quality time with Rider. I guess seeing Kayneth and his broken fingers will have to wait until next season. Along with that other Master/Servant Team that has fallen off the face of the planet.

Because you are a but....boastful....?

I think I actually like that Waver looked up stuff about Rider. Yes this show has taken a lot of liberties in terms of…well everything but mainly history. But I like how Waver wasn’t going on stuff that Rider said as a “hero” (AKA someone with a huge ego) might exaggerate his past. Turns out Rider is pretty straight forward with his downfalls and what not but still. I like how Waver wanted to know about Rider without hurting feelings or simply because he wanted straight forward answers.

I am not sure how I feel about Rider’s real goal in conquering the world. Especially after his anger issues towards Saber a few weeks ago. Yes I still remember how insane you acted. Crazy pants. Him wanting more and more, to be the best like no one ever was sounds a lot more like his personality than seeing the ocean. I think a noble but impossible dream of protecting your people is better than seeing the ocean. But maybe because I have seen the ocean I am a bit biased. That and he YELLED AT SABER!

I was slightly amused that Rider wanted a video game. I guess that shouldn’t surprise me as he wanted that shirt so very bad. Still he comes across as a person who is so noble and full of ideas and what not about ancient ways of being…and he wants a video game. X___X Me thinks he might not be taking this Holy Grail War AS SERIOUSLY as he should be.

Right because Assassin isn't DEAD or anything.

I didn’t find Waver whining or weak in this episode. I found him to be very relateable. He kinda did enter this war under….special circumstances. His Servant has said some things about his character and what not. So I can see why he questions if they make a good pair. Now I don’t think he would have done any better with another Servant (which is hard to say at this point since only one Servant has been taken out and that was on purpose) but I can see why he questions his pairing with Rider as they do seem like opposites.

So much emo.

That and he is a teenager and teenagers tend to be angsty and what not. This is kinda typical behavior. XD

Rider….I think I liked his answers. I think. He wasn’t AS RUDE as he was when talking to Saber. But he didn’t lie or sugar coat things. Like yeah maybe things would have gone differently had they not been partners. Oh no you would be dead with Assassin. But he said all of this in a calm voice and said hey…things will be better if we play video games. Okay maybe he lost me on that one but you know. I think deep down he is okay with working with Waver and maybe they bring out the best in the other?

I'll drive you to the beach Rider! Oh wait no....

But he also acknowledge that he was a fool that just wanted to see the ocean and failed. Maybe he should have apologized to Saber instead of comparing himself to Waver who is trying to prove himself.

So everything he does is insane.

I am not sure what Caster was trying to do in the water. Ryuu seemed excited though. I am also not sure how Rider was able to go around and find people to recruit in his Let’s Beat Castor Party. But they are all ready to fight. Wonder if Archer will show up and help?

The series shall end with me being AWESOME!

And that is about it. We will have to wait until Spring to see the rest of the series. So far there have not been many battles and the characters have been pretty content in talking for 22 minutes at a time. But I think that will change with the next 13 episodes. Are we ready to battle?! XO

Sekai Ichi Hatsukoi Season 2 episode 12

And now it is Takano's turn to be emo!

So far behind!!! X__X Many things to do and not enough time to do them with my crazy broken eye. So please enjoy my fairly late Sekai Ichi Hatsukoi Season 2 episode 12 post. Spoilers for Takano taking a trip down memory lane!

So does that make you a stalker too?

Episode Summary: Takano and Ritsu are riding the train to work. Takano is not feeling 100 percent but Ritsu won’t share his spot so Takano can sit next to him. Takano is banished to the other side of the cabin where he falls asleep. Before he dozes off though he thinks about how cold Ritsu is and how in high school things were totally different. WEEE to high school time. Takano thinks to himself that he knew who Ritsu was before the little kid even confessed to him. Takano comes from a broken family and would hide out in the library after school to avoid going home. He would recheck out some of his favorite books again and noticed that Ritsu checked out…all of them. Now Ritsu is acting uncomfortable and nervous around him, asking if Takano meant it when he said they should go out. Now Takano is so unhappy with his situation at home the thought of Ritsu being this happy and genuine pisses him off and Takano just wants to break the boy. The only comfort Takano seems to have in his life are books and the random cat he found. His parents bicker all the time and neither go to Takano’s school in regards to his future plans.

Maybe Ritsu will be sneakier next time?

Despite this Takano helps Ritsu out when the boy can’t order a sammich from Subway and they bond big time over books and authors. But after a particularly bad day with his parents Takano cannot handle Ritsu being nice to him. Takano snaps and basically says he hates Ritsu and tells him to leave him alone. Ritsu runs off all hurt while Takano thinks about how he sucks and maybe it is better this way. But when Takano goes to leave school and finds that it is raining….Ritsu has returned with an umbrella. Takano asks why Ritsu came back after he said all those things. Ritsu sorta puts the blame on his stalker ways and says that Takano seems stressed out lately. Ritsu offers to listen to Takano if he needs help. Takano is touched by how Ritsu keeps on giving without expecting anything in return. He even tries to hold Ritsu’s hand but Ritsu runs off all embarrassed. Takano catches Ritsu being all cute during school and realizes….MOG I love that kid?! Takano is able to turn down a girl gently and admits he has someone he cares about. That is when he asks Ritsu to come over to his house. Back in the present Takano misses the caring and sweet Ritsu. But when Takano pretends to be sick Ritsu rushes to his side. Despite the fact that Ritsu is a little different Takano is happy to be with him. THE END!

So….where is my lovely sweet almost sex scenes with flowers and sparkles? Yeah I didn’t see any of that. What I did see was Takano acting like a jerk and Ritsu acting like a pushover. Maybe Yokozawa should have been with Takano after all….

Did I say nice? I meant that I hate Takano!

However…it was nice seeing all of this from Takano’s point of view. Not that it was a LOVELY point of view but I guess that makes it more real. Or something. Is real the new word for HORRIBLE yet relatable? We saw Ritsu and his sparkle relationship in the first episode so I guess it is only fitting that we see Takano’s perspective on the events.

Also it was nice to see it wasn’t just a OH HI let’s have sex because you like me relationship. Which is what I thought happened. That poor Ritsu was so swept up in Takano giving him attention he allowed the sexy times to take place before any “dating” went on. So that was a nice surprise, that they actually did other things before getting all hot and heavy.

There are barely any scenes with the family so...have some Ritsu freaking out over hand holding.

I feel as if we learned nothing from Takano’s rough family life. I guess we can just imagine what all the tension was about as no real reason was given for the parents acting like that. Did the “father” just find out Takano wasn’t his real son? Or was it just them growing apart? Or had they always acted like this? No doubt the atmosphere was horrible and would make anyone have relationship issues later in life but no concrete reason was given to WHY the fighting was taking place.

TOO ADORABLE!!!! And sad for words.

I think the cat played a very important part in this episode and it makes me sad that Yokozawa took him (her?) away from Takano. But maybe that was the point. Takano only had this cat to care about and obviously the cat cared about him. Waiting for him to come home from school and being there for him in an empty house. Maybe Yokozawa thought taking away the cat would be a wakeup call for Takano. Too bad the cat stayed with the one who could really take care of him. :( Maybe the episode should have ended with Yokozawa giving the cat to Ritsu and loving him more.

Just a little stalking going on....

Now….I do think that Ritsu was being kinda stalkerish. And Japan seems to be the kind of place where you keep your feelings to yourself. And Takano is the kind of guy who is so far removed from companionship I am surprised he rescued the cat. So I can see how at first Takano would be freaked out by Ritsu. Like MOG too bright he happiness blinds me!

What an unhealthy way to go through life YAY!!!

But Takano being so cruel to Ritsu….just no. Him thinking about wanting to break Ritsu’s spirit is so sad. Ritsu was genuinely missing part of his brain and sparkling all over the place and all Takano wanted to do was make him miserable like him. And of course I thought the homophobic stuff was pretty harsh. He wanted to break Ritsu’s spirit right, not be a bigot? If you don’t want to be with a guy then don’t. Simple as that.

Are you sure you don't want to hit him with one or something?

Ritsu being able to forgive him instantly…that was a bit much. I mean….maybe after a while Ritsu could have realized Takano was speaking from an extreme place of hurt and late forgiven him. But to run back and give him an umbrella 5 minutes later. There is love and then there is….well something that makes me sad. Poor Ritsu. No wonder he grew up to be so bitter.

Ordering food is very hard folks!

This is not to say Takano was a complete asshole. These feelings were new to him and he grew up in a broken family. But there were tiny pieces of hope throughout the episode. Like eating at the restaurant with a confused Ritsu/Mugi. Talking about their favorite author. Laughing at Ritsu having a spaz attack. It was nice to see Takano having fun. Just wish he had taken out his aggressions on the people who were hurting him not the person trying to make his life better.

Ritsu is not so sparkly anymore though...

Of course we all know how the story ends which makes Takano realizing he is IN LOVE even more bitter sweet. Such a small misunderstanding makes them lose out on ten years with each other. X__X Maybe that will make me rethink arguments I get in with people. I wouldn’t want them to cause 10 years worth of problems.

Ritsu just needs to give in already since he said the magical words!!!

Takano and Ritsu on the train….well I wish Ritsu would be a little more friendly with Takano. I can see how he wants to be discrete in public but sitting next to Takano would make him happy. Looks like Ritsu is still protesting too much. But he shows how much he really cares when Takano pretends to be sick. So they don’t have the sparkle relationship of high school nor did Takano get his way in breaking Ritsu…totally. Instead they are slightly jaded adults willing to open up their hearts. Just not their bedrooms because of the censors.

Being an adult is fun. Sparkle on.

Overall this was a pretty interesting series to watch. I fear for manga artists everywhere now. X__X One couple had too much focus while another barely got any screen time at all. And Ritsu needed to stop living in denial a little faster. But overall…..yeah working for a manga company is scary. THE END!

Mirai Nikki episode 12

I need to start off with an apology. Last time I blogged this show I thought for some reason it was episode 12. X__X Maybe because I was excited about what was going to happen in episode 13 due to whisperings on the internet? The whisperings being that Yuno is going to be crazy. Because she is not crazy YET.

So yeah I apologize for being so utterly wrong for 7 days. :*( Sorry if that caused any confusion.

Yuki....is in danger? I AM SHOCKED FOLKS!

But let’s get to blogging folks! Spoilers for the real episode 12 of Mirai Nikki. That being bombs and dramatic words and such.

To floor 3 of the hospital? For a mental evaluation?

Episode Summary: Episode Summary: That random cop dude is talking to Keigo about how there are explosive everywhere but they are surrounding the building. Minene tells Yuno and Yuki her plans on getting them out alive. Yuki is going to patrol the halls, Yuno is going to guard the hostages (wife and sick son), and Minene will talk to Keigo and negotiate their way out. Yuki is like WTF but Minene gives him a grenade and tells him to go at it. Yuki tries to cheer Yuno up by saying if they get out of here alive he wants to take her somewhere. Minene calls Keigo but Keigo is like NO DEAL. He has given up trying to save his kid and will instead become a god to wish him and his wife back to life. Minene is not pleased about this turn o events. Yuno tries to warn Yuki to run but he is taken down by 6 armed SWAT people because overkill is fun. Random cop dude is like Keigo this is a BAD plan. Keigo tells random cop to go home and goes into the hospital. Before he can reach Yuki Yuno appears out of nowhere and kills ALL the SWAT people. Keigo takes Yuki hostage and there is a Mexican standoff in the hall. Then Yuno decides she will kill Keigo and herself to save Yuki. Yuki is like UM NO but Yuno gets a hold of the grenade and pulls the pin.

Minene tried escaping from the building only to run into random cop. He takes her into custody as the grenade goes off. Minene was like oh that was just a flash bomb it will be fine. Well then the real bomb goes off sending Yuki, Yuno, and Keigo flying. Keigo manages to get a hold of Yuno and Yuki is the one with a gun. But his phone shows him accidentally killing Yuno in the process. Yuno begs Yuki to kill her and Keigo, as she has reached so much happiness already and wants Yuki to be safe. Yuki screams that is not good enough, that he wants to be with her because he loves her and they can make it out of here together. For some reason Yuki saying that makes his aim better and he only hits Keigo. Keigo tries to take out Yuno anyway but Minene and random cop show up. Minene told random cop about all the crazy and how Yuki and Yuno are innocent (WTF?!) and that Keigo is no longer a cop. Keigo then breaks his phone, asks Minene to take care of his son, and tells Yuki to win the game. Then he poofs away. ALL IS WELL THOUGH! Yuki and Yuno are set free from random cop and all is blamed on Keigo WEEEE! So Yuki decides that he is going to take Yuno to see his dad and the stars! Only Akise is trying to warn Yuki about spending time with on the run Yuno. Which is probably a good idea since Yuno’s bag as a pile of bones in it. THE END!

I am a little disappointed. Mainly because it seems that Minene was the main badass this episode and she had a humorous scene! Then we had Yuno flip floppin all over the place. And then there was Yuki. Yeah…Yuki.

XO Well someone is putting all their crazy eggs in the crazy basket.

But the biggest badass moment of the show came when Keigo was like PSHT who cares if my family is hostage. Let them die. I will become God and fix everything anyway YAY!!! That might be smart thinking but DAMN. That is banking on a lot of different scenarios. I mean he could still be killed by one of the remaining Diary Users if Yuno and Yuki were out of the way. That and I am not sure how I could function if my family/husband was killed even if I could maybe bring them back.

Okay so putting that aside Keigo looked pretty stupid. Maybe he was acting badass but I couldn’t take him seriously with that getup on. I am surprised that during the intermission between episode 11 and 12 they didn’t tap his arms to his head or something. So stupid.

Just remember that Deus hates Yuki more.

I love how Minene came up with this mega plan and nothing happened the way she wanted it to. Which is a good thing I guess. If things were predictable it would be a boring show yes? But Minene was like okay Yuki here is you a grenade and you are going to guard us while I make nice with Keigo. Her crazy faces when she realized that everything was going down the toilet was priceless.

Well good thing YOU are in charge seeing how you are so...understanding of crazy people.

However a bunch of people need to be fired…again. Minene was sneaking outside the hospital and NO ONE saw her? Were they all getting shot by Yuno inside? Apparently. This gave Minene a reason to be captured by random cop dude…and explain to him in a few minutes what the Diaries were all about and have him fire Keigo. Because he has that kind of authority…..

Speaking of Yuno….her shooting skills have were AMAZING this episode. She was right in front of Keigo last week and managed to only shoot him in the ear. This episode she shot like 6 SWAT team like people all in the one vulnerable spot on their necks. Just bam bam bam. Maybe if she had done that LAST EPISODE things would have turned out differently?

It is hard to have a happy ending when you are in 392832 pieces.

I was slightly disappointed that the bomb wasn’t real. I guess if it was that would mean Yuki would seriously be in trouble right? Well mainly because Yuno would be dead but also because I am sure having pieces of random metal in your back might cause a delay in your own escape.

While Yuki has been reacting like a normal teenage boy thus far in this series (acting SCARED and uncertain) he took a dose of courage or something. Yuno for some reason was content to die TWICE and Yuki was like crazy you can’t be with me if you are dead! Yuno was fine dying for Yuki but Yuki pointed out that HE would not be fine with that. That if they both tried really hard maybe they could overlook that rule of one person surviving and they could be happy. Yuki convinced Yuno that instead of being okay with 2nd place it was time to reach for the stars.

And then Minene killed them all YAY!!!

So Yuki shots Keigo and Yuno is still all amazed that Yuki actually likes her. Minene comes and disappoints me. Instead of shooting EVERYONE she simply tells Keigo now his Investigation Diary is useless so he has to commit suicide. Which is what she wanted from the start. But she was actually in a position to kill ALL OF THEM. Meh. Maybe having a cop handcuffed to her stopped her from reaching all the awesome.

I love how Keigo was like take care of my kid Minene….but wants Yuki to win. Um shouldn’t you be asking the ALIVE person that? Or the person you want to be alive? Just saying.

Well then....I guess life is okay. Because the person Yuki hurt didn't die. I see.

But a lot of things don’t make sense with this series. Like how Yuno killed at least 6 cops and Yuki shot one and NOTHING happened to them. Well Akise was telling Yuki that Yuno was on the run but from what? Yuki had just said 5 seconds ago that they were cleared of all charges thanks to the new guy in charge so why was she running? Because the cops realized SHE KILLED 6 OF THEM?! Really that made me mad. The school blows up life moves on. Mao gets stabbed but hey we aren’t going to see them again. And now Yuki and Yuno can shoot all the cops they want but magically get away with it. I SEE.

Oh and did I mention that Yuno is crazy? When I go on trips I don’t pack skeletons. I just don’t. Especially on a plane because I am not paying for extra baggage! What happened to that big hole in the backyard? Is that where most of the body parts went but Yuno needs the heads for something else? Crazy.

So my new theories of the week are as follows. Daddy didn’t pick up the phone because he is a Diary user. Or dead. Or maybe MAYBE when Yuki’s parents got divorced he married Yuno’s mom and abused the family and Yuno killed him and is returning the skull to its HOME. That’s why Yuno needs to be with Yuki, her amazing not really stepbrother…so she can kill him HAHAHA!!!

Probably not. But dad could be dead. Or a Diary User. I just want to see what crazy thing Yuno might do next week. WANTS TO SEE!!
